Chapter 149: Let You Create a World

He didn't pay much attention to these details. His gaze swept across the miniature ant streets and noticed numerous shops had appeared.

"Beautiful Woman Meditation Coaching and Consultation Room,""Werewolf Online Gaming Room,""Happy Landlord (Dou Dizhu),""Chinese Mahjong,""Go Room,""Dating Corner."

Indeed, the entertainment value was off the charts. As long as there was creativity, infinite possibilities existed.

These guys even complained the space was too small, digging holes underground—basement level one, basement level two...

They were completely shameless.

Fortunately, Xu Zhi had restricted the underground area, just as he had with his other sandbox worlds. Otherwise, given their excitement and using the bodies of wizards, they would have dug all the way to magma, just like the miners in "Minecraft."

Honestly, the geographical planning was surprisingly complete. It seemed there were even architecture professionals involved in the design, as construction had fully commenced and taken this shape within just one morning of opening.

Of course, this was also due to the accelerated time flow.

"You're running game rooms and opening shops, fine, but you're also taking advertisements and profiting from them..." Xu Zhi felt these guys were utterly lawless. How dare they try to make money off him?

"Perhaps a legal warning is in order!"

Xu Zhi thought it was time to rein in this unruly bunch. They were given a meditation sandbox, yet all they thought about was making money instead of meditating.

However, he continued browsing the forum and found that the money the "neighborhood committee" received from advertisements was all used for activities, competitions, community enrichment, and promotion. For instance, they were planning to host the first Wizard Arena Tournament, using the advertising revenue as prize money.

"They're even organizing fighting competitions? Ranked matches in Summoner's Rift? Never mind, let them entertain themselves. If they're organizing competitions, they'll inevitably have to train their meditation furiously. As long as they meditate for me, that's fine." Xu Zhi thought for a moment, then continued to flip through the forum, observing their activities.

He discovered they were already planning to privately mint and issue currency.

Below the "Spore Evolution" section, a new branch had opened: the "Wizard Community" forum.

"Hahaha! The freedom is incredibly high!"

"Game GMs, map designers, patrolling security NPCs—we players have to act as all of them. This is practically a miniature society, but it can't function without money. Let's mint coins! (Happy)"

"How do we make them? This ground is just yellow sand!"

"Wait for the fire-element wizards to appear! Everyone, train quickly! Once you reach Level 3 Wizard, you'll be able to melt sand and create currency!"

"So, what should the money be called?"

"Since it's cast from sand, let's call it 'Sand Coin'!"

"Great!!" Everyone nodded enthusiastically, exclaiming that the idea was indeed feasible, as a community simply couldn't function without currency.

Then, someone on the forum couldn't help but complain:

"We're wizards, yet we're only given meditation, no weapons, no robes, no staves? How can we play the game in Summoner's Rift or the fighting arena without personal equipment? It significantly reduces the fun!"

"Yeah, it's fine if other things are missing, but not even core weapons and staves!"

"Exactly, there aren't even materials to craft alchemical weapons. I want to make a staff! (Cries)"

Xu Zhi just glanced at it. As expected, after the open beta began, many different issues and problems emerged. "I do need to create a virtual currency."

After some thought, an announcement appeared in the Wizard Community:

"This game will enable a currency system! Currency transactions will take place in the personal attribute panel. For every hour of diligent meditation progress, you will receive one Meditation Coin. Meditation Coins can be used for trading and exchanging for wizard alchemical materials."

This announcement immediately caused another uproar.

"We only get money by meditating?"

"Only one coin per hour?"

Countless players were in tears. It seemed this game truly wasn't after anything but their well-being.

Xu Zhi thought it was acceptable. Meditating for an hour to get one Meditation Coin meant they would definitely meditate to earn money. There might even be some "grinders" who would meditate furiously and then sell the coins.

This currency system could also be used for transactions in their self-run card rooms and various shops, generating profit. They could also purchase wizard alchemical materials from Xu Zhi to craft their own equipment.

And what were these wizard materials?

They were simply plants and the bones of giant beasts. As long as Xu Zhi opened his gene bank, introduced the spores of these creatures to propagate, and provided food, he would quickly have vast quantities of materials. It was practically a business with no overhead.

"With an equipment system and currency exchange, they'll probably be even more excited."

Xu Zhi quietly put his plans into motion. With this, the matters concerning the new "Wizard Community" sandbox were more or less handled.

He hadn't placed much importance on this particular sandbox to begin with. He'd only supervise them when it first opened, then largely ignore them afterward, as long as they diligently helped Xu Zhi with his "AFK training" to quietly raise the realm of the Rubik's Cube God.

"Now, it's time for serious business—creating a new world sandbox and tackling the issue of creation." Xu Zhi thought for a moment, then, as usual, walked to the chair by the courtyard gate and sat down.

"Holy moly, the Creator God is here!"

"Watching the Creator God live! The Creator God's life has become more interesting; this time, besides eating fruit, he even has a cup of tea! Could this be a hidden plot?"

"Everyone, stop messing around. We just emerged from the Evil God's body, and everything is in ruins, waiting to be rebuilt! We need to enter the wizard world and see what the era after its destruction looks like."

Inside the evolution sandbox, another group of strange creatures whispered amongst themselves.

However, Xuebaixue, Akina Mountain Speed, and others were not in the sandbox. After living there for over two hundred years, it was impossible for them not to need some time to recuperate and adjust their emotions.

They probably needed a month or two to recover, as no one could handle immediately jumping into intense evolution right after returning.

Of course, those players weren't idle now. Akina Mountain Speed and the others occasionally logged into the "Wizard Community" for relaxation, self-care, and to unwind, as that particular sandbox was indeed relatively laid-back.

Xu Zhi also ignored the chattering figures on the ground and began to attend to his real business.

He silently picked up a can and poured out the phoenix egg from within. It was translucent and shimmering with light. The phoenix, which had turned into an egg, did not burn his hand.

Xu Zhi had no intention of communicating with the phoenix in his modern room, as that would reveal too much. After much thought, he decided it was better to meet the phoenix in this "Spore Evolution" sandbox.

After all, this sandbox was only thirty square meters. Although it was on a flat piece of land in front of his house, the sandbox's boundary stopped right at the chair in front of the door; the rooms inside the house were inaccessible. This spot was just right.

Not far away, a group of players began chattering excitedly.

"What's he doing? He pulled out an egg! It looks so cool, golden and glowing, like a delicious ingredient! (Makes me hungry)"

"Shh! Hidden plot! I think we triggered a cutscene! Let's sneak closer."

Xu Zhi looked down at the phoenix egg, and its cell division accelerated.

In an instant, the entire phoenix egg rapidly hatched.

A beautiful, fist-sized phoenix, bathed in brilliant red flames, soared into the air. A group of small figures quietly approached, then immediately cried out in surprise.

"Holy moly! That's a phoenix!"

"It's the phoenix from my wizard world! The Creator God must have personally descended into the wizard world to bring the phoenix out! He brought it into the Creator God's dimensional courtyard—a main plot trigger! Screenshot it! Post it on the forum!"

"Contain your flames," Xu Zhi said.

"Cre...a...tor... God..." the phoenix stammered in the native wizard tongue. It was incredibly nervous, unsettled by the thought that it might have been held by the Creator God the entire previous day.

"I've come to send you to another world, for you to open up a new one," Xu Zhi stated his objective directly.

"Me? Open up a new world?" The phoenix trembled.
