Chapter 669: The Immortal Fairy's Cultivation Insights

At this moment, Lu Yang desperately wished he had a spell of forgetting, to erase everything he had just seen. Although he already knew much of the Four Ancient Immortals' dark history, it was only through verbal testimony, leaving room for denial. Not anymore. Now there was physical evidence, and he was sure the Four Ancient Immortals would destroy him along with the "Immortal Sayings" book.

"I completely forgot I put 'Immortal Sayings' here," the Undying Fairy said, her boldness matching her skill, as she took the book from the shelf with a hint of nostalgia.

"This is a real treasure. I remember when Immortals Ying Tian and the others were lecturing, I would listen in and jot down everything they said."

After the Senior Disciple Sister entered the secret realm, she didn't restrict the movements of the two ancient Supremes. They also came to the study, and upon hearing the Fairy's words, their eyes gleamed as they stared at "Immortal Sayings," their hearts pounding. Heavens, this book actually contained the teachings of Immortals! Immortal insights were priceless, an invaluable treasure!

However, they were now prisoners and could only gaze longingly, not daring to reach out and take it. Listening to this Fairy, could it be that she wasn't Immortal Ying Tian? Then who was she... wait a minute, could she be Dou Tianzun, the Lord of the Heavenly Court? The two Half-Immortals finally realized the Undying Fairy's true identity, and their legs began to tremble.

"Is this a study?" The Senior Disciple Sister also noticed the Fairy's abode and entered, seeing shelves filled with ancient books. Ancient texts were incredibly precious; any single one would fetch a fortune at auction.

"Yes, this is where I read and study," the Fairy replied.

Lu Yang noticed that most of the books looked brand new and realized the Undying Fairy must truly love books, perhaps too much to even open them. The Senior Disciple Sister also noticed this but said nothing.

The study contained a comprehensive collection of books, ranging from ancient customs and traditions to cultivation manuals. There were also numerous insights from Half-Immortal cultivators, including those from Zhu Tian and Jiang Lianyi. These Half-Immortal insights had been willingly provided by ancient Half-Immortals, primarily to fill the shelves in the study; the Undying Fairy herself was too lazy to read them. As the most revered Immortal of ancient times, she had embarked on a path unlike any other. Why would she need to draw upon the cultivation experiences of others?

There was also a "Complete Guide to Cooking" here, authored, of course, by Immortal Ying Tian.

"So you're all here," Meng Jingzhou said. He had been exploring the secret realm and panicked when he turned around to find everyone gone, breaking out in a cold sweat. Seeing them all in the study, he finally relaxed.

"Well, did you find anything good in here?" Meng Jingzhou nudged Lu Yang with his arm.

"Yes."

Lu Yang carefully handed "Immortal Sayings" to Meng Jingzhou and solemnly stated, "This immortal book documents the words and actions of the Four Ancient Immortals. It holds profound secrets and aligns with the Great Dao. In ancient times, both Half-Immortals and Tribulation Transcendence cultivators queued up to study it. Read it carefully."

"Such a good thing exists!" Meng Jingzhou exclaimed in surprise. Lu Yang truly was his good brother; he never forgot him when there were benefits.

Meng Jingzhou flipped through a couple of pages, then handed the book back to Lu Yang.

"Why aren't you reading it?"

"It's all in an ancient language; I can't understand it."

"...When I get a chance, I'll teach you the ancient script."

"Strange, where's my diary?" The Undying Fairy wandered around the study but couldn't find her journal.

"Fairy, you keep a diary?" Lu Yang asked, curious.

"Of course! With so many fun things happening, I naturally have to record them in my diary."

"What did you write in it?"

The Undying Fairy looked at Lu Yang with caution. "How can a diary be shown to just anyone?" she retorted.

Lu Yang pursed his lips. "You're quite wary," he commented. "It's probably gone, isn't it? After all, a diary has your strong personal imprint; it's not something that can simply be rebranded and blamed on Immortal Ying Tian. Since the mastermind wants to erase your existence, naturally any diary proving your existence would also be eliminated."

The Undying Fairy was enraged. "Darn it! I will certainly avenge this!"

The two Supremes trembled with fear, feeling that the conversation held astonishing ancient secrets and wondering if they were about to be silenced.

"My cultivation insights are gone too?" The Undying Fairy also failed to find her cultivation experience notes.

"It seems the mastermind erased them too. After all, my talent is unparalleled. If my cultivation experience notes were attributed to Immortal Ying Tian, it would be far too obviously fake; Immortal Ying Tian doesn't possess such ability!"

Lu Yang looked at the Undying Fairy with a strange expression. "Fairy, you actually have cultivation experience notes?"

"Why wouldn't I? I wrote a thick book of experience notes, detailing everything from how to have fun to how to sleep comfortably. It's incredibly detailed, with both scholarly references and my own personal experiences."

Lu Yang thought to himself that perhaps it was for the best that her "cultivation experience notes" were lost. Between losing a book and losing face, she had to choose one.

The Senior Disciple Sister, however, wholeheartedly agreed with the Undying Fairy. "Senior has the heart of an innocent child, which is truly rare," she said. "It's even more difficult to retain such innocence after becoming an Immortal. These experience notes must surely be guiding people on how to maintain a pure heart. Senior, your virtue is admirable."

The Undying Fairy beamed as if she had found a kindred spirit. "Yun, my dear, you truly understand!" she chuckled. Then, the Undying Fairy turned her head and, with a fierce expression, told Lu Yang, "Did you hear that? What I possess is called the heart of an innocent child. You should learn more from me in the future!"

Lu Yang was speechless.

The Undying Fairy waved her hand. "Yun, my dear, pack things up. Let's move this secret realm back to our sect," she instructed. Once it was back, they could leisurely explore it. The entire secret realm, from the Twin Rivers to the study, belonged to her, so moving it back directly would give Great Xia no reason to object.

"Understood."

As they left the secret realm, night had fallen, and the forest was cloaked in darkness. The Senior Disciple Sister extended her right hand and pressed it against a large boulder, which emitted a soft, glowing light. When she withdrew her hand, a winding miniature river appeared in her palm. This was true "Universe in the Palm" ability.

"Let's go."

With matters concluded, everyone returned to the Dao Inquiry Sect. As they neared their destination, the two Supremes suddenly realized they were heading to the Dao Inquiry Sect. Was the Ancient Heavenly Court hidden within the Dao Inquiry Sect? Or was the Dao Inquiry Sect originally founded by the Ancient Heavenly Court? Either way, it spoke volumes about the sophistication of the Ancient Heavenly Court's methods.

The Senior Disciple Sister first placed the Twin Rivers secret realm next to the Fairy's Kitchen on Heavenly Gate Peak, then escorted the two Supremes to Prisoner Peak. If she hadn't arrived in time, these two might truly have destroyed Chunjiang City. They couldn't be let off easily. Meanwhile, Lu Yang and Meng Jingzhou returned to their respective peaks.

"Little Yun is back? Who did you catch this time?" the childlike Grandmaster asked with a cheerful smile. He had already come to terms with it: as both an elder and a Tribulation Transcendence cultivator, he shouldn't lose his composure just because a few ancient prisoners were brought in.

The Senior Disciple Sister placed the two individuals on the ground and introduced their captures: "I caught two Half-Immortals. One calls himself the Nightmare Supreme, and the other, the Void Supreme."

The childlike Grandmaster clutched his chest, nearly gasping for air.
