Lu Yang looked in the direction of the sound. He saw a luxurious-looking sports car crashed into the library, and a bloodied young man emerged from it.

A few more cars crashed into the library. A carload of fully armed robots got out, apparently there to apprehend the young man.

Through the large hole made by the crash, he could see chaos outside. It seemed to be the result of a high-speed chase between the young man and the robot army.

The young man stumbled as he ran, with a hail of gunfire behind him; it looked extremely dangerous.

However, the young man was lucky; bullets whizzed past, none striking him.

People in the Interstellar Alliance didn't have a habit of reading physical books, so the library was sparsely populated. Seeing the danger, they all fled the library as if their lives depended on it.

Lu Yang felt it necessary to leave the library with them.

The reason was simple: the young man was running straight toward him.

The two stared at each other.

"Get down!" the young man suddenly yelled, quickly pulling Lu Yang to the ground.

Machine gun bullets swept over their heads, penetrating several rows of bookshelves.

As he went down, the young man rolled and threw a bomb. It exploded with a boom, temporarily immobilizing the robots.
