Chapter 1314: Cao Myth

"Call me 'Daddy'?"

Having awakened its sentience, the gray substance had long since opened the gates to supreme power, its future limitless, destined to delve into the ultimate realm!

Yet now, its former host and blood meal was actually ordering it to call him "Daddy." It was so enraged it felt like three Buddhas had entered Nirvana simultaneously. It wanted to immediately drain Chu Feng of his essence, making him age 100,000 years in an instant, turning him into dust and ashes. It yearned to make this blood meal understand that some beings are not to be trifled with!

"Aargh..." However, the reality was that it screamed and struggled violently, stuck by the small millstone inside Chu Feng. It was continuously refined and crushed, its very being shrinking.

"Call me 'Daddy'!" Chu Feng pressed again, completely dominating it.

The gray substance was absolutely furious. It was destined to be a supreme entity, and achieving sentience now was an extremely difficult step, only to be met with such humiliation. No one knew that this was a dark seed with infinite potential; if its true nature were revealed, it would surely cause widespread panic and chaos.

But how was Chu Feng treating it? He was truly fed up with the gray substance. Remembering all the past events, he took off his shoe and began to whip it.

Whipping it with a shoe sole? The essence of the gray substance was practically going insane, utterly humiliated by such an act.

"Do you know what you're doing?" it roared, red with fury and embarrassment.

"Of course I know! I want to hit you with a shoehorn, slap you in the face. Don't put on airs in front of me, I've had enough of you!" It was precisely because of his deep-seated loathing for it, and the unpleasant memories it brought, that Chu Feng deliberately abused it, even though he knew a shoe sole couldn't truly harm it.

"Call me 'Daddy'!" he threatened and intimidated once more.

The gray substance roared in fury. If only it had known, it would have returned to the past to kill Chu Feng in the Lesser Netherworld, turning him into a puddle of putrid blood, leaving him no chance to rise. It had never anticipated that the blood meal, once terminally ill and with no hope of survival, would now not only be resurrected but also full of life, and capable of overpowering it. Indeed, the world was unpredictable, leaving it filled with both hatred and anxiety.

The gray substance realized that one-third of its essence had vanished in mere moments, emitting wisps of smoke. It was being continuously refined, and the situation was extremely dire. As for Chu Feng, he felt completely at ease. As the small millstone within him became more refined and "solid," he experienced a sense of immense power and the joy of accomplishment. There was no doubt; the small millstone was destined for greatness!

At this moment, Chu Feng had a strange sensation, as if he was about to ascend and enter the heavens amidst the swirling gray mist. Both his body and mind felt incredibly pleasant. The activity of all his cells was intensely strengthening, almost breaking through the Great Saint level to achieve a mythical transformation, directly entering the Reflection realm! Gray mist churned, engulfing Chu Feng. Both inside and outside his body, there was a dense concentration of gray substance, whose "purity" was unprecedented, truly an essence of gray substance rarely seen since ancient times.

Normally, if someone were eroded by such a substance, let alone Chu Feng, even exceptionally powerful individuals would suffer lifelong regret, their lives ruined, barely surviving, and cursed with extreme misfortune. But now, for Chu Feng, it was an enjoyable experience. He felt an impulse, almost an illusion, that he could now practice forbidden arts. Could he continuously slay enemies, absorbing divine particles and Dao Ancestor matter to rapidly grow stronger? This was because he no longer feared the erosion of the gray substance; its supposed drawbacks were no longer an issue for him!

Inside Chu Feng's body, the gray small millstone condensed, becoming increasingly unadorned yet more unpredictable. Between its upper and lower parts, golden symbols flowed, glistening brightly.

"Chu Feng, how dare you treat me like this..." the gray substance shrieked, like a wailing specter, fierce and venomous. But immediately, it cried out, "Daddy!"

Chu Feng was somewhat speechless. How could its tone change so quickly?

"Chu Daddy!" The gray substance changed its address again, immensely anxious. It truly couldn't bear it; Chu Feng had already ground away half its form, and its gray substance was less than fifty percent. At the same time, it transformed into a peerless beauty, appearing pitifully in Chu Feng's spiritual perception, desperately begging him to spare it. She was exquisitely beautiful, around twenty years old, with bright eyes brimming with tears, on the verge of weeping. Her white robes fluttered, making her appear both pitiable and fragile.

But how could Chu Feng stop? He already knew its true nature, so he spoke viciously, saying, "Wait until your cultivation grows by another five thousand years, then you can go charm others. You're far from it now."

"Chu Daddy, how can I make you let me go?" the ethereal girl, formed from the gray substance, pleaded, tears streaming down her luminous white face.

"Stop being so cheesy; even 'Lord Chu' won't do!" Chu Feng not only didn't stop, but instead did everything he could, wishing to refine it immediately.

"You...!" In an instant, the gray substance turned hostile, its expression venomous as it cursed wildly, wishing it could eliminate Chu Feng immediately. Yet, the outcome was its own continuous shrinkage.

"Ah..." Finally, with a miserable shriek, it began to disintegrate, attempting a mutual destruction.

With a boom, the gray small millstone within Chu Feng suppressed it. The golden symbols on the millstone emanated a holy radiance, engulfing all the gray mist. Amidst sizzling sounds, the gray substance was refined even more rapidly. Ultimately, only a wisp of mist escaped, less than one-fifth of its original mass, significantly weakened. Amidst curses and seething hatred, it fled far away at high speed. Chu Feng pursued, but the gray substance dispersed itself, merging into the void, becoming invisible and intangible, fleeing for its life. It ultimately escaped.

It was severely wounded, its very sentience nearly scattering. One must understand that achieving sentience is not easy; reaching this stage was incredibly difficult, and it had been nurtured by the gods of another domain. The divine remains from various eras that Chu Feng had seen in that foreign domain had contributed significantly; it was created after a vast amount of the God Kings' flesh and blood essence was eroded.

At this point, Chu Feng stopped because the Scavenger was following him, constantly circling him, making his skin crawl. He had no fear of the gray substance, but he was very wary of the Scavenger. Furthermore, the collapsed world it carried on its back was too sinister and incredibly disturbing.

Nevertheless, Chu Feng was in good spirits. The brief refining of the gray substance had caused the small millstone within him to undergo another transformation, granting him an inexplicable realization. Immersed in the golden symbols, he felt on the verge of an epiphany. In an instant, Chu Feng's body grew warm, and his cellular activity surged. Was he truly about to transform and step into the Reflection realm?

Few throughout history had ever entered the Reflection realm from the Saint level without the aid of pollen; such individuals were unique existences, considered myths in the history of evolution. Now, Chu Feng possessed the Great Saint's body. To break through from this realm would be absolutely astonishing. In a sense, if he were to achieve this leap of life and successfully transform, he would become what Qin Luoyin called "a myth among myths"! From then on, he would possess endless potential!

"I will become a myth among myths!" Chu Feng gritted his teeth.

However, beside him, the Scavenger, disheveled, once again drew close, almost pressing against his face, sniffing continuously. This made Chu Feng feel an extreme sense of danger. Chu Feng wondered if he carried clues to the so-called Three Lives Medicine. Soon, he thought of the three seeds. Could they be it? This worried him. His progress to this point was entirely due to the three mysterious seeds; losing them now would be a tremendous pity. For now, he dared not act rashly, unable to recklessly undergo transformation and breakthrough. However, this realization and the surging vitality of his body were etched into his mind.

Chu Feng calmed his mind, and soon he was as serene as an ancient well. The external environment was too harsh for him to evolve with single-minded focus. However, he grasped and memorized his current insights, knowing it wouldn't be too late to shatter the myth when the time, place, and circumstances were all favorable.

"Senior, hello. I am Chu, the God-King. Of course, you can also call me Cao the Myth. You're always circling me; is there something you need?" Chu Feng spoke, unable to bear it any longer. Being fixated on by a terrifying Scavenger was something no one could endure. Of course, his audacity was quite remarkable, referring to himself as Cao the Myth to the Scavenger.

"Medicine... the aura of medicine..." The Scavenger was disheveled, his golden-thread jade robe—woven from mother gold and special jade pieces—was tattered and ragged from the relentless passage of time. He was covered in bloodstains, appearing to have suffered severe injuries, his consciousness muddled, and his beastly nature seemingly dominant over his humanity. It was precisely because of this that he was now extremely dangerous!

Chu Feng knew that the "medicine" the Scavenger spoke of was the Three Lives Medicine. Could it truly be on him? After much thought, he concluded that only the three seeds he possessed resembled the Three Lives Medicine. The Scavenger approached again, its eyes, sometimes blood-red, sometimes hollow, peered through its disheveled hair, becoming increasingly dangerous, like a wild beast on the verge of madness.

Chu Feng could not simply sit and wait for death. If this Scavenger tore him apart directly, his death would be far too unjust. He secretly prepared the Reincarnation Earth and a small black wooden spear, ready to defend himself and counterattack at any moment. However, all of Chu Feng's preparations proved useless before the Scavenger. It was hard to imagine how powerful this disheveled monster truly was; in what seemed like an instant, it had imprisoned the heavens and earth.

Chu Feng's vision swam as his body was flung outwards, and then some of the artifacts on him changed hands! His heart reeled, and he fell to the ground.

"The Three Lives Medicine... revive!" Within the world carried on the Scavenger's back, a black behemoth was roaring and howling, shaking that dim and desolate world. The black behemoth trembled with excitement, gazing at the blood-soaked figure draped over a shattered bell deep within the collapsed world. "The Three Lives Medicine has been found! You must revive!" it howled.

This left Chu Feng stunned. Could that supreme expert, who once turned his back on the outside world and pierced through all heavens—a man whose entire life had been glorious without a single low point—actually revive before his very eyes? Chu Feng was greatly surprised, staring at the deepest part of that collapsed world. There were many fragments of bells, and a broken bell resonated, trembling as if in lament, trying to awaken its master. But the corpse was already rotten, exuding a heavy aura of death. Could such a being truly be revived?!
