Chapter 666: Wind and Waves

The era continues to advance.

In just ten short years, with Cybotron's emergence, he spread across the land, his power growing ever more immense, eventually engulfing the entire Sky Province and unleashing a colossal disaster. Cybotron embodied the grotesque itself, bringing forth terror, infecting the land, and absorbing the fears of all. In the blink of an eye, the entire land was transformed into a terrifying disaster reminiscent of the Great Zhou Dynasty 700 years prior, ravaging the land, where now everyone was compelled to raise livestock.

The entire land was dominated, its inhabitants subservient, as a new arcane dynasty emerged: the Sacred Hundred Flowers Dynasty. Calling itself "Hundred Flowers," it styled itself as surpassing the Sakura Emperor of old.

"How terrifying."

"According to historical accounts, Cybotron was supposed to take another 214 years to establish a new dynasty, and only then, as a peak seventh-tier epic arcanist leading Alusha to conquer territories, would he barely succeed!"

"Although he has only founded a nation with a single province, it's over two centuries ahead of schedule!"

"This is terrifying. The main thing is that he has become a folk legend, able to control the entire populace and manifest as a living catastrophe! Infection is ten thousand times faster than conquest!"

Some of Alusha's followers whispered amongst themselves, feeling utter dread. The Pillar Gods' machinations are indeed terrifying. The benefits from this timeline are immense; no wonder they actively intervened.

"Furthermore, now that Cybotron has fused with that terrifying folk legend, the Three Pillar Gods can study that terrifying phenomenon through his very being."

"The gains are enormous."

"It's clear that to lure the Pillar Gods into this, a huge price was paid."

Everyone concurred. Even though they were given the means to restrain them, whether it would help Alusha remained unknown. Chaos was brewing.

Xu Zhi sat in the National Arcane Library and chuckled to himself. For Xu Zhi, all was well. His ultimate goal was simply to advance the transcendental civilization of the entire era, to foster various conflicts and interactions, and ultimately to discover the path to the ninth-tier. Although they consistently acted erratically, leading to unexpected incidents and bizarre theories, the ultimate objective was still achieved.

"At this time, the Three Pillar Gods are vying for control over Cybotron, each believing their computational prowess to be superior and that they can ultimately seize control of Cybotron."

"While the Pillar Gods are embroiled in internal conflict, the gods under their command have finally erupted in rebellion, seeking ways to resist the Three Pillar Gods, creating troubles both internal and external."

Xu Zhi mused, "This is an opportunity for the Six Realms. Without it, the Six Realms truly might not be able to overcome their opponents. The opportunity is now theirs; let's see if they can seize it."

Indeed. Without the Dao Monarch and Medusa, the Six Realms are indeed significantly weaker. Furthermore, considering the Three Pillar Gods and the arcane system they developed, in a confrontation at the same power tier, the deities of the Six Realms might not be able to defeat arcane deities empowered by such arts. Each possessing a phenomenon of law is enough to allow the weak to overcome the strong.

It must be said, the Three Pillar Gods' shaping of the era is truly unsettling! For the Pillar Gods, their rate of development is truly no slower than that of the Ishundar human civilization, once hailed as a divine race, marking a civilizational metamorphosis with each passing era! However, their technological development is severely skewed, making them appear like a primitive indigenous civilization. But the combat prowess of arcane arts is astronomical.

"As for Cybotron..." Xu Zhi's lips twitched slightly. "It's nothing significant; just a terrifying grotesque whose function is merely to incite great fear." This is its inherent purpose. If blame is to be assigned, it lies with the grotesques that were deployed, for they are all too distinctive. However, it cannot be denied that eunuch-hood is indeed a man's greatest fear. Is it strange that this grotesque would manifest in the Great Zhou Dynasty? Not at all. One could even say it was inevitable.

"But this threat of emasculation is limited to ordinary biological entities; for a clay creature like myself, it presents no weakness whatsoever." This time, Xu Zhi felt no aversion as he set down his arcane text.

Around him, the library buzzed with the comings and goings of people.

"The Sky Province is horrifying!"

"They say it’s a terrifying, infectious arcane art!"

"Yes, Instructor Bidesai has already led a group of excellent students there to research the phenomenon. They say it's a soul link, where a person's vital essence is bound by contract to a livestock animal, similar to the demonic beast soul contracts of the ancient Lava Civilization. It's utterly chilling!"

"Ah!" A gasp of horror involuntarily escaped from the crowd; the thought was truly terrifying. These bizarre visitors from another world are simply too terrifying. It's hard to imagine how horrifying and incomprehensible the civilization of their homeland truly is.

Another voice added: "Instructor Bidesai? You're behind on the news. I heard that all the talented students he brought have succumbed! The sight was truly gruesome. They say someone saw them, and the sight was... well, let's just say their hair grew long. *Hiss*." The speaker trailed off.

"*Hiss!*"

Those around them gasped in unison.

"Fortunately, my aptitude is mediocre; I can't enter that instructor's core arcane tower and become a core student."

"Now, it is said that in the Sky Province, even female arcanists dare not go!"

"It's better to simply focus on studying arcane arts."

"But to research arcane arts, one must investigate all manner of bizarre arcane phenomena; the pursuit of truth and knowledge is an essential path for any arcanist."

Young arcane nobles, both men and women, draped in deep blue robes and holding staves, conversed elegantly. They clutched thick arcane tomes, some even wearing thick, black-rimmed spectacles, emulating medieval noble scholars with their refined and polite demeanor.

"Everyone is truly on edge; this is the nature of the era."

Xu Zhi seemed to see another juncture in history, wondering what new developments it would bring forth. He then glanced at another area.

Meanwhile, the internet was also abuzz. Xu Zhi browsed through the forum posts, which numbered in the tens of thousands of pages and were refreshing at an incredibly fast pace. His actions had already sparked widespread discussion on the forum. Especially among female users, the discussion was fervent.

"Ahhh! Emperor Messiah, he's incredible! He outsmarted the Three Pillar Gods! Now *that's* a true mastermind! Calculating from a thousand miles away!" (Excited)

"His triple gambit was so brilliant! I'm completely sold! I'm a fan!"

"Wow! So handsome, and his plans are flawless! Especially how he gently teaches young women to resist scumbags, protect themselves, and even provides them with weapons for self-defense. It's just too endearing!"

"This is simply like an alternate version of going back in time to save someone, to help them escape a miserable future fate!"

"For you, to rebel against the Pillar Gods, to rebel against destiny? What does it matter? Even if the universe's timelines converge, I will break them!" (Tears streaming down face)

"I overturned the entire world, just to set your reflection right."

"I cycled through all of space-time, just to guide you to happiness!"

"He's the real deal!"
