Chapter 551: Dragon Fat, Black Tiger, and Fox

Not long after, Qin Mu defeated a demonic divine ability user, stripped him of his clothes, and changed into a new outfit. He then strutted confidently through the demonic city. Demonic crowds swarmed all around, flowing towards the Heavenly Chasm Abyss. A sudden drastic change had occurred there moments ago, creating too much commotion and alarming the entire city. Although the upheaval ended quickly, the power unleashed in that instant was terrifying.

Whoosh— Two demonic gods flew through the air, rushing towards the abyss. Many winged demons also flapped their wings and took flight, soaring into the abyss.

Qin Mu pushed his way against the current of people, finally managing to squeeze out of the crowd and walk towards the city gate. He dared not fly. After all, this was a demonic city, and no one knew how many demonic gods or grand masters of the Divine Bridge and Life and Death realms were hidden there. Even the gods of the Supreme Emperor Heaven would probably not dare to act recklessly in such a place. So, he could only walk slowly but steadily forward, secretly growing anxious.

Once the two demonic gods reached the bottom of the Heavenly Chasm Abyss, they would quickly discover the unconscious Furi Luo. Waking him should not be difficult. Once Furi Luo awoke, he would surely order a city-wide lockdown to search for Qin Mu's whereabouts. If he couldn't leave the city before the lockdown order was given, he would likely be unable to escape!

This city, originally a divine city of the Supreme Emperor Heaven, was incredibly vast and immense. It would take some time to walk out of it.

Qin Mu hurried as fast as he could, finally reaching the city gate. Suddenly, shouts erupted from the abyss: "By the King's order, immediately lock down the entire city! No demon is allowed to leave!"

"Activate the formations! Seal the entire city!"

"Earth and sky, all sealed! Not even a mosquito shall fly out!"

Qin Mu's expression changed slightly. He looked towards the city gate, where many demonic strongmen were strenuously pushing the massive city gates, intending to close them. Meanwhile, on the watchtowers and tall pagodas, formation patterns and runes continuously lit up. The shimmering runes flowed down like water from the tops of the towers and pagodas, flowing towards the city walls. The formation patterns and runes on the city walls also lit up, and streaks of dazzling light flew into the air, connecting pattern to pattern. A massive spatial barrier was forming. And at the base of the walls, many runes and formation patterns were flowing into the earth!

Even in the capital of Eternal Peace, there were no such robust defensive measures. If the aerial and ground formations fully connected, he would have no hope of leaving the city!

Qin Mu suddenly seemed to melt, transforming into a black shadow that rapidly moved close to the ground, along the shadows of the wall corners, heading straight for the city gate! The city gate was too large and too heavy; even with dozens of demonic strongmen exerting their combined might, they could only push the gate slowly. These demonic strongmen specialized in cultivating physical divine abilities, possessing immense strength. They did not cultivate spells or spirit weapons, only focusing on their physical bodies, muscles, bones, and enhancing their power! The Heavenly Saint Cult and the armies of Eternal Peace also had similar strongmen. A few strongmen who had cultivated to the extreme, working together, could even lift statues formed from the physical bodies of gods! Yet, the city gate of this divine city required dozens of strongmen to move it, showing its terrifying weight!

The black shadow that was Qin Mu moved like a ghost, darting through the shadows of the buildings, like a shifting phantom. He rushed to the city gate; before it closed, he had to leave the city, or there would be no escape!

Pushed by numerous demonic strongmen, the two massive gates now had only a narrow gap and were about to close. Suddenly, a sparkling bead rolled over, lodging itself precisely between the two massive gates and preventing them from closing. A strongman near the gate kicked it hard, sending the bead out of the city and muttering a curse. The gates then slammed shut. What he didn't see was that as he delivered that kick, his "shadow" also rolled out with the bead, merging with the bead's shadow.

The bead rolled forward for over ten zhang, reaching the moat, and slowly came to a stop. The round shadow beneath the bead suddenly grew limbs. Two shadow-like arms grew longer and longer, grasping the edge of the moat and slowly exerting force. The sparkling bead rolled forward again and plunked into the river. A moment later, from the shadows on the other side of the river, a pitch-black shadow crawled out of the water and moved close to the ground.

Not long after, the city gates swung wide open, and countless demons rushed out of the city with roars: "He's not in the city! Search immediately! Don't let him escape demonic territory!"

Qin Mu dodged and hid, avoiding watchtowers. His Demonic Shadow Illusionary Devil Art had reached its limit, so he had no choice but to reveal his true form. He climbed to a high point to scan the horizon, but still couldn't see where Li City was.

"Furi Luo abducted me to demonic territory," he wondered. "Where exactly is this? How far is it from human territory?"

The land was vast, the sky dim. The sun in the eastern sky was cold and gradually turning red, a sign that night was approaching. Qin Mu steadied himself, hid his presence, and thought, "There isn't even a single star in the Supreme Emperor Heaven. It's hard to discern celestial phenomena or directions in the dark. I'll have to wait until daytime to continue my journey."

Demonic scouts searched everywhere behind him. Qin Mu dodged and hid, narrowly avoiding detection. So he simply killed a demonic scout, donned the scout's heavy black iron armor and helmet, hung a long black iron demonic spear diagonally on the horse's hook, and rode a Demonic Fire Nightmare steed, wandering through the mist of the demonic territory.

The next day, the ugly, crescent sun in the sky lit up as expected. Qin Mu pushed open the visor of his black iron helmet to discern direction, and commanded the Demonic Fire Nightmare steed in demonic tongue to head east. By afternoon, Qin Mu looked up at the sky, his expression drastically changed. The crescent sun in the east had suddenly extinguished!

"Imperial Preceptor, aren't you a bit too efficient?" Qin Mu nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. He had once told the Eternal Peace Imperial Preceptor to have Eternal Peace's divine ability users help design two suns for the Supreme Emperor Heaven. Now, with the crescent sun in the sky extinguished, it must surely be related to the Imperial Preceptor! The Imperial Preceptor must have found the sun in the sky an eyesore, which is why he immediately summoned Eternal Peace's divine ability users to the Supreme Emperor Heaven to get rid of the sun and recreate it. With the sun gone, Qin Mu could no longer discern direction!

**Li City**

Blazing flames illuminated the darkness, and the light from the spirit energy transfer bridge surged into the sky, connecting with the Great Ruins. Numerous divine ability users were arriving continuously from Eternal Peace, establishing massive supervision factories near Li City to forge giant constructs and tirelessly produce various components day and night.

True God Pang Yu retrieved blueprints that no one could understand. These were blueprints for a solar furnace, left behind by the Sun-Forging Deity, who had been assassinated by demons before completing the second sun. Fortunately, the blueprints survived. The Eternal Peace Imperial Preceptor summoned many divine ability users skilled in mathematics to recalculate and modify the blueprints, demanding even higher precision. What the divine ability users in Li City were currently forging was precisely this solar furnace.

"Master, I've lost my junior brother..."

On the watchtower of Li City, Black Tiger God rolled on the spot, transforming into a small black tiger, only about a foot tall, with black and yellow stripes. He lit an incense stick and offered a respectful prayer. The incense smoke curled upwards, condensing into a cloud above him, forming the face of the Woodcutter Saint, who gazed at him expressionlessly. The small tiger, transformed from Black Tiger God, bowed his head obediently, not daring to speak.

A moment later, the Woodcutter Saint's voice came: "What use are you?"

Black Tiger God was terrified. He hurriedly said, "Master, don't worry, I will definitely find Junior Brother Qin!"

The smoke cloud slowly dispersed, and the Woodcutter Saint's voice came again: "I've gone to the demon world and cannot return for now. When I return, if I don't see my disciple, you shall remain like this forever; don't even think about changing back!"

Black Tiger God breathed a sigh of relief. Just then, a clear voice was heard saying, "Fatty Dragon, although Young Master is in this world, you've gobbled up all the spirit pills. What if we can't find him? Won't you starve for a long time?"

Another muffled, grumbling voice came, chuckling with effort: "Sister Ling'er, you don't know, I painstakingly managed to snatch some spirit pills from that demonic general in the box. These days I only dared to eat one spirit pill a day! I was already skin and bones from hunger. Look, look, I've gotten so much thinner! To make sure the Cult Master recognizes me, I ate all the remaining spirit pills in one go. I was even worried my body wouldn't return to its former state..."

"I heard Young Master is lost," the clear voice retorted. "If we don't find him, you'll starve to death!"

"How could the Cult Master, being so clever, get lost?"

Black Tiger God looked in the direction of the voices. A "da da da" sound approached. First, a large chest came into view, followed by a massive creature with a bulging belly dragging on the ground. Its fatty flesh jiggled as it ascended the watchtower, resembling a large monster with the bloodlines of both dragon and qilin. And perched on the head of this stout creature was a lovely, innocent little girl, about five or six years old, with six snow-white fox tails behind her and two fluffy ears on her head. Sang Hua, Yu He, and others followed behind, along with two unfamiliar young girls.

The little girl with fluffy tails and ears saw him, her eyes lighting up. She leaped down from the stout creature's head, giggling as she ran straight towards Black Tiger God, clapping her hands and laughing, "Such a cute little tiger! I want to hug it first!"

Black Tiger God, smelling the scent of a fox, his face darkening, swayed his body, transforming from a foot-tall small black tiger into a magnificent striped black tiger, over ten zhang tall. He roared towards the sky, his divine and ferocious might overflowing. The little fox demon's expression drastically changed. She immediately turned around and burst into tears, running towards the girls and throwing herself into the arms of one of them, crying, "Big tiger—!"

The young girl shielded the fox demon behind her. The stout creature plopped onto the ground with a thud, looking up at the enormous beast with an expression of awe.

Sang Hua hurriedly stepped forward and said, "Venerable Tiger, these are Cult Master Qin's friends."

Black Tiger God dispersed his divine and ferocious might, transforming into a black tiger youth. He retracted his sharp claws, and his ears twitched twice as he said, "I was once tricked by a fox in my early years, so I can't stand fox demons. Please forgive me."

The little fox demon peeked out and giggled, "I don't trick people." She boldly came out from behind Ling Yu Xiu, sized up Black Tiger God, and curiously asked, "Can I touch your ears?"

Black Tiger God hesitated for a moment, then lowered his head and said, "I scared you just now. You can touch them."

Hu Ling'er touched them twice and praised, "So soft! You all should try touching them too!"

Ling Yu Xiu hesitated, "Is this really appropriate?" After saying that, she bravely stepped forward, touched them twice, and exclaimed in surprise, "They're really soft and smooth!" The other girls extended their hands to touch them a few times, which made Black Tiger God feel somewhat comfortable, but he still felt a bit uneasy in his heart. After all, he was a demon god, and being touched like this seemed shameful. But it was indeed very comfortable.

Long Qilin approached, also intending to touch them, but Black Tiger God hurriedly raised a paw, pinning the fellow to the ground, unable to move.

A moment later, everyone, including Black Tiger God, was satisfied. Black Tiger God inquired, "How do you plan to find Junior Brother Qin?"

Si Yunxiang laughed, "It's simple: the Primordial Spirit Conference!"
