Few among the Ten Celestials of the Celestial Heavens knew that the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell had fallen into Qin Mu's hands. After all, on the day he stole the eggshell, Qin Mu managed to deceive almost all the Celestials, with the exception of Celestial Venerable Yan.
The Ten Celestials didn't know who had stolen the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell. However, they were quite familiar with the abilities of Celestial Venerable Yan's white cat. The white cat had seen the person who, disguised as the Heavenly Emperor, had stolen the eggshell, and it possessed the ability to discern the true identity of the person within the Heavenly Emperor's physical body.
By merely monitoring this white cat, they could follow the trail and locate the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell.
This meant that Celestial Venerable Xiao and the others were not actually monitoring Qin Mu, but rather Celestial Venerable Yan's white cat.
When the white cat came to find Qin Mu, its visit seemed clandestine, occurring under the cover of night. However, it had long been under the surveillance of Celestial Venerable Xiao and the others. The cat's hasty departure naturally triggered a dispute among the Celestials.
From the Celestial Dragon Chariot, Qin Mu watched the battle in the sky, frowning. He murmured, "I should have given the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell to the white cat. Only the genuine eggshell would make the Ten Celestials completely fall out with each other. After they fight over it and discover the white cat doesn't have the eggshell, they'll just suspect me again. They'll still return to a state of balance."
Divine King Lang Wo chuckled, "Sacred Infant, you're mistaken in thinking that."
Qin Mu humbly sought her guidance. "What do you think, Divine King sister?"
"In this battle for the cat, whether the white cat lives or dies, the conflict among the Celestials will not subside."
Divine King Lang Wo explained, "They would only suspect you if the information were transparent. However, if the information is opaque, they will suspect each other. Currently, the white cat has changed hands multiple times, snatched back and forth by the four Celestials. During this chaos, anyone could have acquired the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell. Consequently, none of them will actually possess the eggshell, but they will suspect that another Celestial has taken it. This is informational chaos."
Qin Mu blinked.
"When information is chaotic, and everyone receives only partial information, it leads to a situation where you suspect me, and I suspect you."
Divine King Lang Wo continued unhurriedly, "Although Celestial Venerable Yan's white cat is a master of the Numinous Sky Realm, it absolutely cannot see through the Sacred Infant's divine consciousness creations. The cat was confident it had obtained the treasure, but when it was captured by other Celestials, the Sacred Infant's divine consciousness creation vanished. The cat will simply believe it was snatched by another Celestial. Even if it survives, it too will be caught in this informational chaos, allowing the Sacred Infant to remain outside the fray and quietly observe the conflict."
Qin Mu fell into deep thought as the Celestial Dragon Chariot sped into the distance.
"Besides the four Celestials, other Celestials will also join this struggle, making the information even more chaotic. As for whose hands the Heavenly Emperor's eggshell truly falls into, it will no longer matter."
Divine King Lang Wo looked out the window and said, "The fifth Celestial Venerable has made a move. After this battle, the rift among the Celestials will be irreparable."
Darkness spread across the sky, indicating that Celestial Venerable Xu had made a move.
Then, the figure of a sixth Celestial Venerable appeared, joining the battle for the cat.
One Celestial Venerable snatched the white cat, held it, and vanished beyond the heavens. The other Celestials disappeared one after another, presumably in pursuit of that Celestial.
This battle was the moment the Celestials formally broke all pretense of cordiality!
Qin Mu retracted his gaze and asked, "Is the Primordial Realm the ancestral land you are looking for, Divine King sister?"
Divine King Lang Wo also withdrew her gaze and shook her head. "No. Yuan Du is the birthplace of Earth Mother Yuan Jun, not the ancestral land of my Creator race. According to the ancient memories of the Creator race, the ancestral land is far more fertile and resource-rich than Yuan Du, abundant in all kinds of natural treasures. However, the Creator race has suffered many calamities, and not much information has been passed down."
Qin Mu pondered for a moment and said, "Is it possible it's on the back of the Primordial Realm? No one has ever been to the back of the Primordial Realm; it should be vast, not much smaller than the front."
Divine King Lang Wo asked, "Sacred Infant, have you been to the back of the Primordial Realm?"
Qin Mu shook his head, smiling. "The furthest place I've been in the Primordial Realm is the Return to Ruins. I have no idea what's on the back of the Primordial Realm. The Celestial Dragon Chariot is incredibly fast; why don't we go take a look?"
Divine King Lang Wo nodded in agreement.
Qin Mu immediately gave the order for the six Celestial Dragons to pull the chariot directly towards the East Sea.
The chariot sped like lightning, its speed unparalleled, cutting a bright streak across the sky. After more than ten days of continuous flight, Qin Mu looked ahead, and the ocean still stretched endlessly, making him anxious.
The Celestial Dragon Chariot was even faster than he was. They had traveled for a duration equivalent to half a year for him, yet they still hadn't found the end of the Primordial Realm. Instead, they saw many fragmented continents in the sea.
"We're nearing the Return to Ruins," Qin Mu thought to himself.
The chariot continued its journey, passing the Return to Ruins. After another ten-plus days of flying, Qin Mu looked far ahead and saw a vast stretch of land appear, boundless and encircling the ocean. The land was dominated by numerous incredibly steep divine mountains.
"Could this be the end of the Primordial Realm?"
Qin Mu was delighted. He directed the Celestial Dragon Chariot to fly over these divine mountains, which were covered in vast stretches of snow, frigid and devoid of life. After crossing these endless snowy mountains, Qin Mu looked down and saw the immense Western Lands appear before his eyes.
Qin Mu was stunned. He looked back; the ocean of the Primordial Realm was a flat surface, not spherical. Yet, they had crossed the vast ocean and arrived directly in the Western Lands!
This was almost impossible!
He had once flown beyond the Primordial Realm with Bai Yu'er, and from space, the Primordial Realm appeared to be essentially a flat plane, not a planet.
So why, by heading towards the East Sea, did they not reach the end of the Primordial Realm but instead arrive in the Western Lands?
"The back of the Primordial Realm seems to have been hidden by someone!"
Qin Mu became excited. "To hide the back of the Primordial Realm, one would need to fold space, effectively folding all the boundaries of the Primordial Realm! The difficulty is no less than folding and sealing the entire Primordial Realm! Only the Ten Celestials or the Ancient God Heavenly Emperor at their peak could possess the power to achieve this! So, what do they intend to do by sealing the back of the Primordial Realm?"
Divine King Lang Wo watched him curiously. Qin Mu stepped out of the chariot and ascended above the snowy mountains, attempting to use his primordial magnetic divine art to probe for any seals.
After a moment, Qin Mu dispelled his primordial magnetic divine art, shaking his head. "No traces of a seal... Open!"
His vertical eye between his brows opened, scanning in all directions, scrutinizing the void. A moment later, his vertical eye closed. Even his mysteriously unfathomable third eye could not detect any spatial seal here.
"My primordial spirit will exit my body!"
Qin Mu's primordial spirit flew out, delving deep into the earth, continuously descending underground.
Since no seal could be detected, he would use his primordial spirit to penetrate deeper into the earth, hoping to find the back of the Primordial Realm!
After a long while, Qin Mu's primordial spirit suddenly shot out from underground, looking around in bewilderment.
Divine King Lang Wo asked, "Sacred Infant, what did you find?"
Qin Mu recalled his primordial spirit, his expression peculiar. "Just now, my primordial spirit continuously delved underground. I saw some races living in subterranean spaces, surviving by the light of magma. I kept going deeper, flying countless miles, feeling as if I was about to reach the back of the Primordial Realm. However, when I emerged from the earth, I found myself back where I started. This Primordial Realm..."
His expression grew even stranger. "The Primordial Realm actually has no back!"
Divine King Lang Wo was also startled. She unfastened the willow leaf on her brow, her divine consciousness exploding forth and penetrating deep into the earth. After a moment, her divine consciousness emerged from the depths of the earth.
Her divine consciousness also felt as though it was about to penetrate the earth of the Primordial Realm, yet upon bursting forth from the surface, she found herself back on the front of the Primordial Realm!
If this were a spatial seal, such a seal had already surpassed both of their understandings!
Because such a seal would require folding and sealing every space within the entire Primordial Realm, creating a world with only a front and no back!
"Perhaps we can see the back of the Primordial Realm from outside the heavens..."
At this thought, Qin Mu hesitated. He and Bai Yu'er had once flown out of the Primordial Realm and explored its exterior, but they had never discovered a back side to it.
When they thought they had flown to the back of the Primordial Realm, what they actually saw was its front. It was just that they were too caught up in their affection at the time to notice this peculiarity.
Only now, recalling it, did it strike them as strange, sending shivers down their spines!
"Sacred Infant, have you ever been to the back of the Celestial Heavens?" Divine King Lang Wo suddenly asked.
Qin Mu was momentarily stunned, then shook his head blankly.
It was indeed strange to think about; the Celestial Heavens also seemed to have no back!
Not only that, but even Youdu, and the continent where Jade Lock Pass was located beneath Earth Count's feet, no one seemed to know what was on their backs either!
The Celestial Heavens, Youdu, and the Primordial Realm—none of them had a back!
"Does the ancestral land have a back?" Qin Mu suddenly asked.
Divine King Lang Wo shook her head. "I have no recollection of that. Among the Creators, I am relatively young, born in the Great Void, which is before what you call the Dragon Han era. However, Divine King Shu Jun is extremely ancient; perhaps he would know."
Qin Mu sighed and ordered the six Celestial Dragons to pull the chariot to the nearest spirit energy teleportation bridge. "Let's first visit the Four Extremity Heavens; perhaps we can find traces of the ancestral land there."
Divine King Lang Wo nodded.
The Celestial Dragon Chariot reached the nearest spirit energy teleportation bridge. Qin Mu used it to return to the Celestial Heavens, and from there, he planned to use other teleportation bridges to reach the East Extremity Heaven of the East Emperor, Azure Dragon. However, before that, he drove the chariot outside the South Heaven Gate, went around to the underside of the Heavenly River, and attempted to find the back of the Celestial Heavens.
Yet, what met his eyes was still the South Heaven Gate; the Celestial Heavens simply had no back!
"As expected. It seems the Celestial Yin Realm also has no back. Strange, where did the missing sides of these worlds go?"
Qin Mu was greatly perplexed but had to suppress this doubt. He ordered the Celestial Dragon Chariot to enter the spirit energy teleportation bridge leading to the East Extremity Heaven.
Within the glow of the teleportation bridge, the Celestial Dragon Chariot traveled towards the East Extremity Heaven. Amidst the light, Qin Mu continued to ponder this question. He had never considered it before, but now, the more he thought about it, the stranger it seemed.
After an unknown period, the Celestial Dragon Chariot gently jolted, finally arriving at the East Extremity Heaven and emerging from the altar. The six Celestial Dragons were very excited, transforming into divine beings with dragon heads and human bodies.
Qin Mu hesitated for a moment, then ordered the Dragon Qilin and Yan'er to unhitch the harness and invited the six dragon gods to board the chariot. He said, "Yan'er, hitch up Fatty Dragon and pull the chariot towards Azure Dragon Heavenly Palace."
The Dragon Qilin groaned in misery but was hitched by Yan'er and had no choice but to pull the chariot forward.
Qin Mu looked at the scenery outside the chariot, observing that the East Extremity Heaven was unique. Stars formed from countless bolts of lightning hung in the sky, extremely bright and dazzling.
Furthermore, flashes of lightning stretched for ten thousand miles across the sky, yet they emitted no thunder, creating a profound stillness. Dragon-shaped creatures populated the lands of the East Extremity Heaven, resembling a dragon clan's habitat, likely descendants of the East Emperor, Azure Dragon.
Occasionally, immense dragons could be seen prostrate among the towering mountains, stretching for a thousand miles, deeply asleep with snores like thunder.
Numerous small dragons clambered onto the giant dragons, playfully roughhousing. Some spat fire, others sprayed water, and some even controlled lightning to strike their companions.
Many other small dragons climbed onto the giant dragons' whiskers. As the giant dragons breathed, their whiskers were lifted by powerful gusts of air, and the small dragons on them shook violently in the currents, greatly excited.
Some small dragons were blown away, landing bruised and battered, and promptly sat down, wailing.
When the giant dragon was woken by the noise, it opened its enormous eyes and yawned. The small dragons hurriedly scrambled down and scattered, hiding everywhere.
The giant dragon, however, was gentle. It used its whiskers to scoop up the wailing small dragons, comforted them for a bit, and then fell back into a deep sleep.
With the Dragon Qilin pulling the Celestial Dragon Chariot, their speed significantly decreased. Fortunately, the Azure Dragon Heavenly Palace was vast and not too far from their current location; they would reach it in just a few days.
Nevertheless, the Celestial Dragon Chariot was still intercepted by some dragon gods who questioned how descendants of divine dragons could be used as chariot drivers for humans.
These dragon gods were quite displeased, so Qin Mu had no choice but to have the Dragon Qilin stop.
"I'll pull the chariot!" Yan'er exclaimed excitedly.
Qin Mu shook his head, thinking to himself, "You are the daughter of the East Emperor, Azure Dragon. If you were to pull the chariot, the East Emperor would probably want to kill me!"
