From the moment Revered Sky Cloud first set foot in this unfamiliar world, he frequently visited, offering strategies to the Creator Race. He explained various tactics to Lang Wo and other Creators, attempting to teach them how to deceive, but his efforts consistently yielded minimal results.
This was due to the environment in which the Creator Race resided.
The Creators here yearned for a carefree life; otherwise, they wouldn't have fled to this place and established the Great Void.
It was also influenced by their cultivation of divine consciousness.
Among the Creator Race, there was no need for lies or deception. They communicated through divine consciousness; a gentle touch of their divine consciousness revealed everything in each other's minds. Deception and falsehoods simply had no place to thrive here.
Originally, the ancestral spirit Luo Xiao was able to leave the Great Void to gather information from outside because he was the most intelligent member of the Creator Race.
Yet, even Luo Xiao never learned to deceive.
What Lang Wo and the others didn't anticipate was the immense cruelty of Revered Sky Cloud's final lesson to the Creators.
It was so cruel that it involved deceiving their kin on another continent, sacrificing millions of lives and the destruction of the Great Void, all to restrict the Great Emperor's power!
Furthermore, the ninety-eight elders and patriarchs actually sanctioned his proposal!
Revered Sky Cloud and the ninety-eight patriarchs and elders aimed to sacrifice a million lives to save a hundred thousand!
On this day, the young Lang Wo felt disoriented and numb.
She witnessed another Great Void completely destroyed: that vast and boundless continent, the starry sky, billions of stars, the mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas created by the Creators, and all living beings—all were obliterated, transforming into an uncontrolled torrent of divine consciousness.
The severe consequences of the divine consciousness collapse plunged the entire Great Void into a terrifying state where thoughts immediately manifested.
Inner demons transformed this place into an incredibly terrifying realm. The chaotic and horrifying ownerless divine consciousness would sense the demons within one's heart and manifest them into reality!
Furthermore, these terrifying divine consciousnesses would contact and corrupt one's own divine consciousness!
This supreme pure land was completely contaminated, and it was feared that another section of the Great Void would soon be destroyed, for the Great Emperor had already arrived!
The ninety-eight patriarchs and elders followed the strategy devised by Revered Sky Cloud and his companions. They fought a bloody battle against the Great Emperor, perishing one after another, until they finally lured him into a trap. This trap had been meticulously designed by Revered Sky Cloud, Revered Moon, and Revered Ling to counter the Great Emperor's supreme Grand Luo divine consciousness, specifically targeting its inherent weaknesses.
However, the cost was equally dreadful!
To slay the Great Emperor, they did not hesitate to use his own power to destroy the Great Void, allowing chaotic and uncontrolled divine consciousness to inundate the area, thus suppressing the Great Emperor's cultivation.
To slay the Great Emperor, they sacrificed nearly all the sacred artifacts that various tribes had painstakingly worshipped day and night, using them to ensnare him!
They lured the Great Emperor into the Lotus Continent and activated the trap designed by the three Revered Ones. Using the Path of Creation, they countered the Great Emperor's divine consciousness creations. Countless thick, root-like tendrils burst through the flesh from his legs, piercing into the Lotus Continent and firmly immobilizing his physical body.
They fought a desperate battle, forcing the Great Emperor to unleash his supreme divine consciousness domain. Yet, the moment this domain was cast, it sealed his demise.
Simultaneously, it sealed their own demise as well.
At this crucial moment, Revered Sky Cloud, Revered Moon, and Revered Ling simultaneously made their move, reversing the supreme divine consciousness domain and sealing the Great Emperor, along with the remaining patriarchs and elders, within it.
The Great Emperor's own supreme divine consciousness domain became the final instrument of his entrapment and demise.
The three young Revered Ones stood outside the supreme divine consciousness domain, observing everything with a torrent of mixed emotions.
Even the Celestial Emperor, leading the ancient gods, had failed to capture or slay Great Emperor Ju Yu. Yet, he now lay dead by their hands.
The Great Emperor, revered by the Creators for his invincible physical body and divine consciousness, now had his physical body dead and his divine consciousness eternally sealed. All of this was accomplished by the three young Revered Ones of the human race.
"You three!"
The Great Emperor's divine consciousness was frozen within his own domain, still fluctuating violently, though the tremors gradually subsided.
He gazed at the three young faces outside the domain, marshalling the last vestiges of his divine consciousness to form a voice that resonated through heaven and earth: "I will slay each of you, one by one, to avenge this profound hatred today! You are destined to perish at my hands, one by one, and your corpses will become my spoils of war..."
Revered Ling raised a finger; a tiny rune flickered at its tip, extending to fill the supreme divine consciousness domain.
As if completing the final piece of a puzzle, she fully activated the trap, and the Great Emperor was completely sealed!
"The Great Emperor is finally dead; it's time for us to return," said Revered Ling.
Revered Moon looked around. The last remaining section of the Great Void was now overrun with monsters born from inner demons, rendering it uninhabitable. She couldn't help but show pity, asking, "What about them...?"
Revered Sky Cloud approached the surviving Creators. The few remaining patriarchs and elders informed him, "We will lead the rest of our people to migrate to the other shore of the Great Void. We will build a void bridge according to the ancestral spirit's second prophecy and establish a carefree world on the other side."
Revered Sky Cloud nodded. "I will continue to return periodically to assist you until you have created the world on the other shore. Revered Moon will also help you design the entrance from the void bridge to that world; she has designed three structures to ensure no one else can locate it."
After speaking, he approached Lang Wo, who remained immersed in profound sorrow.
"I once held affection for you, but that will no longer be the case."
The young Creator stared blankly, then suddenly shed tears. Yet, her voice was remarkably calm as she followed the main body of Creators migrating away, without looking back. "I believe I will never again like anyone. Cloud, your last lesson deeply affected me. For the sake of my race, I will become another you."
Revered Sky Cloud stood there, watching her figure disappear into the distance, a sudden pang of pain in his heart.
He desperately wanted to tell the girl that she didn't need to be like him, to see her as carefree as she once was. He yearned to call out to her, to make some promise.
In the end, a faint smile appeared on his face as he heard himself utter, "Alright."
Lang Wo's body trembled slightly upon hearing his words. She made her final resolve and walked further and further away.
Revered Moon and Revered Ling approached him. Revered Sky Cloud dispelled his melancholy, collected himself, and smiled. "We should leave now; the human race still needs us."
The three of them departed from this shattered land.
Involuntarily, they looked back. The surviving Creators were once again enduring a difficult migration, just like their ancestors, traversing this ruined world of the Great Void.
From this point to the world on the other shore, how many of the one hundred thousand surviving Creators would actually endure the journey?
Revered Sky Cloud and the others did not know the answer. However, Qin Mu had once heard Lang Wo say that only over twenty thousand people survived to reach the world on the other shore.
