"Bah!" Manly-Mane roared, and a blood-red light shot from his mouth like a pillar, striking the Blood Jade Spider. With a "poof," the pillar burst upon contact, instantly enveloping the spiritual beast in a thick cloud of red mist.

The Blood Jade Spider hissed agitatedly, as if provoked. Han Li, witnessing this, felt a surge of silent fury. Just hearing the name "Rampage Art" immediately suggested it was a demonic secret technique with potential drawbacks.

These old devils had never mentioned this art to him and had applied it without hesitation, completely disregarding its consequences for the Blood Jade Spider. It seemed they had never truly considered him, a Core Formation cultivator, to be of much importance. Although he had somewhat anticipated this treatment, Han Li's expression still darkened when it actually happened.

By then, the Blood Jade Spider had absorbed all the blood mist. Its originally translucent body had turned completely blood-red, like a massive crimson gem. Witnessing this transformation, Han Li immediately recalled the scene in the underground cave in Tiannan when another Blood Jade Spider had gone berserk. The same vibrant, fiery red color indicated that the Blood Jade Spider was now in a state of enraged frenzy.

Han Li nervously sent a wisp of his spiritual sense to the creature, sensing only a chaotic, berserk intent, as if it were on the verge of losing its mind. Alarmed, Han Li was about to try and forcibly calm the Blood Jade Spider when Manly-Mane suddenly roared beside him. "What are you standing there for? Tell your Blood Jade Spider to pull! This Rampage Art has a time limit!" Manly-Mane yelled, glaring.

Han Li inwardly bristled at the command but had no choice but to let the Blood Jade Spider continue its efforts. Fortunately, despite its enraged state, the Blood Jade Spider still obeyed its master's commands without fail. Instantly, after a flash of blood-red light in its green eyes, its sharp legs scrabbled, and it began to pull the taut spider silk, slowly shifting it backward.

A vibration, three times more intense than before, emerged, accompanied by several low rumbling sounds from within the cave.

Seeing this, Manly-Mane and the others almost simultaneously broke into smiles. Immediately after, a dazzling blue light erupted from the cave, shooting more than ten yards above the altar.

Han Li instantly felt a chill, followed by a warmth. A brilliant green light shield enveloped him. He was momentarily stunned before realizing it was the Confucian-robed elder who had magnified his protective light several times over, extending it to cover Han Li as well.
