Chapter 1024: Seeing the Dragon in the Sky

Dragon Qilin removed the harness from his body. He glanced at Qin Mu, who glared back fiercely. Dragon Qilin quickly said, "Cult Master, I never said you had to pull the carriage!"

God-King Lang Wo smiled and said, "Let's get out of the carriage and fly there instead."

Qin Mu nodded and stepped out with her, leaving the six Dragon Gods behind. "Guard this imperial carriage until I return," he instructed.

The six Dragon Gods acknowledged him, and Qin Mu, accompanied by God-King Lang Wo, Dragon Qilin, and Yan'er, began walking towards the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace.

They walked through the sky, with towering mountains and rugged peaks stretching endlessly below them, all shrouded in clouds.

In the sky, magnificent Dragon Cities built by divine dragons stood out. The vast cities, with their intricate and beautiful architecture, were truly a sight to behold.

"Yan'er, have you not been here before?" Qin Mu asked.

Yan'er shook her head, flying around curiously to admire the scenery of the Eastern Heaven.

She was the daughter of the Southern Emperor Vermilion Bird and the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon. As a child, the Southern Emperor sent her to Celestial Venerable Yue, where she developed a habit of serving others, though she rarely left.

Celestial Venerable Yue lived in seclusion in the Peach Forest, and Yan'er typically stayed there. Only after Celestial Venerable Yue sent her to Qin Mu did she get the opportunity to explore the vast world.

She was quite unfamiliar with her father, the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon, who had never visited her and rarely interacted with her. The Southern Emperor Vermilion Bird also saw her infrequently. It was only during her last trip to the Celestial Heavens that she was able to spend a few days with the Southern Emperor.

"I wonder where Spirit Treasure Mountain is," Qin Mu mused.

Qin Mu looked around, trying to locate the legendary Spirit Treasure Mountain.

He was extremely curious about Spirit Treasure Mountain. The first time he heard about it in the Eastern Heaven was from Zhe Huali, who mentioned a divine mountain there called Spirit Treasure Mountain, which served as the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon's grinding stone for his teeth.

The Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon possessed immense vitality, and his dragon teeth grew rapidly, requiring frequent grinding. Thus, he used Spirit Treasure Mountain to sharpen them. Broken dragon teeth that fell onto the mountain would transform into peculiar, tooth-shaped creatures.

Many young blade practitioners from the Celestial Heavens often traveled to Spirit Treasure Mountain in search of treasure, hoping to obtain a Dragon Tooth Blade. Zhe Huali's demonic blade was also acquired from there.

That demonic blade possessed extraordinary properties. When the Carefree Sword was still in Qin Mu's possession, the demonic blade had clashed with it numerous times. Even when chipped, the demonic blade could quickly regenerate and restore itself, which was quite marvelous.

The last time Qin Mu was in the three rooms at the end of the Void Bridge in the Void, as he opened and closed doors, he inadvertently caught a glimpse of the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon, his eyes narrowed, holding a divine mountain and grinding his teeth.

Both the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon's teeth and Spirit Treasure Mountain were incredible treasures, making Qin Mu quite envious.

He was particularly intrigued by Spirit Treasure Mountain, which could break the Eastern Emperor's dragon teeth, suggesting its quality was far superior to the teeth themselves. This made Qin Mu even more eager!

The Eastern Heaven was filled with magnificent and majestic mountains. Each divine peak was exceptionally tall and imposing, comparable to the rare divine mountains found in the Primordial Realm.

The Celestial River flowed majestically from the starry sky, pouring into the Eastern Heaven and passing by the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace. Many divine dragons swam freely in the river, while some fish-dragons leaped, spitting out dragon pearls that shimmered as brightly as the sun and moon.

"That mountain must be Spirit Treasure Mountain!" Qin Mu exclaimed.

Behind the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace, Qin Mu saw a magnificent mountain range, resembling the king of all mountains. Its height far surpassed other divine peaks, not as a single summit, but as a chain of nine towering peaks.

This mountain range actually shimmered with precious light and radiance, making it extraordinarily splendid—no smaller than Mount Sumeru with its twenty layers of heavens!

"Is the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon coiled there, holding Spirit Treasure Mountain and grinding his teeth?" Qin Mu wondered.

Imagining the Azure Dragon grinding its teeth, Qin Mu exclaimed, "The Eastern Emperor must be absolutely enormous!"

"Cult Master, there are people from the Celestial Heavens here!" Dragon Qilin whispered, looking at the divine city ahead.

Qin Mu looked towards the divine city, his heart chilling. The gods and devils within the city were not dragons, but rather the Celestial Heavens' army of gods and devils, practicing their weaponry and formations. They must be the Celestial Heavens' stationed troops.

However, this divine city was built upon the palm of the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable—or rather, the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable was holding the city in its hand!

Qin Mu raised his gaze, observing the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable. Unlike the one in the Primordial Realm, this Imperial Celestial Venerable had eight arms. It sat motionlessly in the sky, with six of its arms spread open, each palm supporting a divine city.

The divine city they had just seen was merely one of them.

The two central arms of the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable each held a hand seal. These seals concealed profound mysteries, giving off an aura of boundless energy poised to erupt!

And both of these hand seals were pointed directly at the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace in the Eastern Heaven!

The divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable had four faces, with its eyes closed.

"The Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon likely can't sleep soundly. This divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable is even larger than Spirit Treasure Mountain. I imagine it's no smaller than the Eastern Emperor's own body, and its true power is hard to gauge."

Qin Mu looked at the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable and thought, "I don't know which Celestial Venerable controls this divine artifact, but if it were to launch a sudden attack, the Eastern Emperor would likely be doomed!"

Many idle gods, devils, and divine arts practitioners flew out from the six divine cities, often carrying sword cases or long blades, heading towards Spirit Treasure Mountain. They were likely demigods intending to seek treasures there.

Suddenly, a demigod with a booming voice shouted, "The Eastern Emperor is grinding his teeth again! Hurry and pick up the treasures!"

From the six great divine cities, thousands of gods, devils, and divine arts practitioners surged forth, creating a bustling cloud as they converged. It was quite lively.

Hearing this, Qin Mu felt a pang of envy. He thought to himself, "Dragon Tooth Blades are among the best blades. It's truly hard to find a better divine blade in the world today. If they were further refined using Eternal Peace's microscopic forging techniques, their power would undoubtedly be astonishing! Unfortunately, I am a Celestial Venerable; I can't stoop to treasure hunting..."

He was genuinely conflicted. He longed to go and pick up dragon teeth himself, but he couldn't bear to lose face. If the Eastern Emperor found out, he would surely be ridiculed.

"Holy Infant, this Eastern Heaven is not the Ancestral Court, so I won't go to the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace," God-King Lang Wo said.

God-King Lang Wo's eyes flickered as she gazed at the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable. "I didn't have time to examine this divine artifact in the Primordial Realm," she explained, "but here, I'd like to inspect it thoroughly and research whether it has any weaknesses."

Qin Mu nodded. "It's probably better if you don't meet the Eastern Emperor, Sister God-King. If he discovers you're a Creator, it will surely cause trouble again. My friendship with Earth Overlord is deep, but I don't have much of a relationship with the Eastern Emperor. The main reason he helped me in the Celestial Heavens was because of my identity as the Imperishable Master of Ten Thousand Calamities."

God-King Lang Wo departed, entering one of the divine cities held in the palm of the divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable.

Qin Mu, Dragon Qilin, and Yan'er continued their journey. Yan'er seemed a bit nervous, so Dragon Qilin quickly asked her about it. Yan'er sadly replied, "Although I've seen him, I've never spoken to him. He probably doesn't know I'm his daughter."

Dragon Qilin chuckled. "There's probably a reason why the Eastern Emperor hasn't acknowledged you. He might be worried that your identity would bring you danger."

Yan'er's mood improved slightly.

Before they even reached the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace, an incredibly colossal azure dragon suddenly lowered its head from the sky. Its body, countless miles long, writhed as it descended into Spirit Treasure Mountain.

The massive dragon coiled around the mountain peaks, its two claws gripping a divine mountain. It opened its mouth and began grinding its teeth against the mountain, sparks flying and thunder rumbling from its maw.

Qin Mu, Dragon Qilin, and Yan'er watched, dumbfounded, unable to speak for a long time.

"It broke! It broke!"

Many gods, devils, and divine arts practitioners had already flown to Spirit Treasure Mountain. Afraid to get too close, they watched from afar as a dragon tooth broke off from the divine dragon's mouth. The enormous tooth plummeted from the sky, crashing into the mountain.

As the dragon tooth fell, it gradually shrank. Then, eyes sprouted from it, and a palpable aura of blade energy filled the air. It darted through the mountains like light and lightning, wielding streaks of blade light.

Clanging sounds echoed from the mountains. The dragon tooth had transformed into an eerie, living entity. Enraged at being separated from the Eastern Emperor by Spirit Treasure Mountain, it incessantly hacked at the mountain range, causing sparks to fly.

The eyes of the gods, devils, and divine arts practitioners gleamed as they stared at the flying dragon tooth, eager to make a move.

Someone couldn't resist flying forward, but before they could reach it, a monster born from dragon blood in the mountain caught the person and devoured them in one gulp.

Qin Mu observed from a distance, noting that the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon had chafed the corner of its mouth while grinding its teeth. The dragon blood that fell into the mountains had transformed into monsters, making it difficult to obtain the dragon teeth.

"The Eastern Emperor's vitality is truly immense," Qin Mu murmured in admiration. "Anything that falls off his body instantly transforms into a demonic creature with its own life!"

As he admired this, Qin Mu's gaze fell upon the nine peaks of Spirit Treasure Mountain. "But Spirit Treasure Mountain is even stronger!" he thought. "If I could carry this mountain away and refine it into a treasure, it would truly be the ultimate divine artifact!"

The Azure Dragon, eyes closed, meticulously ground its overgrown teeth. Suddenly, Qin Mu's divine sense arrived, and he chuckled, "Eastern Emperor, Qin Mu is here to visit."

The Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon was startled. It quickly opened its eyes and scanned in the direction of Qin Mu's divine sense. Upon seeing Qin Mu, it felt a touch of embarrassment, soaring into the air and flying towards the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace.

Its massive form rapidly shrunk as it vanished into the Celestial Palace. Its voice, however, reached Qin Mu's ears, accompanied by a chuckle: "Master, you visit without prior notice, making me look a fool in front of you. Please wait a moment; I shall lead my subordinates to greet you!"

"This is a private visit; there's no need for grand formalities," Qin Mu transmitted with his divine sense.

His divine sense continued, "Your Eastern Heaven is full of the Celestial Heavens' spies. It would be better if we met discreetly and didn't draw attention."

The Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon flew into the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace. Qin Mu also walked towards it, and after a moment, he arrived in front of the palace. There was a Southern Heavenly Gate here too, but the Celestial River flowed beside it instead of passing through it.

The divine dragons playing in the Celestial River surfaced and lay by the bank, curiously observing Qin Mu and the others approaching.

On the bank stood a man in a green robe, with long, elegant eyebrows and a beautiful beard like a dragon's whiskers, giving him an ethereal appearance. He stepped forward with a smile. "Didn't Celestial Venerable Mu arrive in the Celestial Dragon Imperial Carriage? Why is the carriage not here, and why have you walked instead?"

"Greetings, Eastern Emperor," Qin Mu said, bowing.

Qin Mu, still smiling, replied, "The Eastern Emperor is the ancestor of all dragons. If I were to enter the Eastern Heaven using the Eastern Emperor's bloodline as a means of transport, wouldn't I be offending you?"

The man in green, who was the Eastern Emperor Azure Dragon's transformation, burst into laughter upon hearing this. He extended an inviting hand and said, "Master, you're too serious. The Ten Celestial Venerables gave you that imperial carriage to offend all ancient gods. How could I not know their sinister intentions? Even if Master had arrived in the imperial carriage, I wouldn't mind in the slightest. Please—"

Qin Mu walked alongside him into the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace, saying, "This is Yan'er, Princess of the Southern Emperor's family."

The Eastern Emperor glanced at Yan'er, who looked hopeful. To her disappointment, however, his gaze didn't linger and quickly moved away from her.

Qin Mu was puzzled, but then he quickly understood.

"Father God," the Dragon God guarding the Southern Heavenly Gate bowed in greeting to the Eastern Emperor.

"Father God!"

"Father God!"

As the Eastern Emperor entered the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace, dragons of all sizes bowed to him, addressing him as "Father God." The sheer number of his descendants was appalling!

It seemed the Eastern Emperor couldn't even remember having a daughter with the Southern Emperor Vermilion Bird!

"Could all the divine beings in the entire Azure Dragon Celestial Palace be his children and descendants?" Qin Mu wondered.

Qin Mu felt a little dizzy. There were at least a million divine dragons in the Azure Dragon Celestial Palace, and even a dragon god army!

If all these dragon gods were the Eastern Emperor's children and descendants, then this ancient god emperor was truly too prolific!

He couldn't help but inwardly grumble, though he didn't voice it. Instead, he smiled and said, "The Eastern Emperor's palace is truly impregnable. The Celestial Heavens may be able to infiltrate the Eastern Heaven, but they can't breach this place."

The Eastern Emperor didn't seem particularly pleased. He shook his head and said, "Master, even the Son of Heaven Duke betrayed him, eager to take his place. Although I have many descendants, that doesn't mean I'm free from worries. In this palace, there are quite a few Azure Dragon Princes who wish to usurp me. Every family has its own troubles, you see."

Qin Mu paused. "May I ask who that divine artifact Imperial Celestial Venerable in the Eastern Heaven is?"

"Four heads, eight arms—that's God Emperor Lang Xuan."

The Eastern Emperor continued, "He is the first demigod in the world, and he belongs to the same faction as Celestial Venerable Hao."

"What do you know about God Emperor Lang Xuan?" Qin Mu asked.

Qin Mu's eyes flickered. "Which two ancient gods are his parents, exactly?"

The Eastern Emperor looked surprised. "Who said both his parents are ancient gods? His father is an ancient god, but his mother is not."
