Chapter 1010: Human Race Dawn Celestial Master

With the spirit energy transfer bridges, travel to any destination became much smoother. The Primordial Realm is a vast and extremely important place, hence it has numerous spirit energy transfer bridges connecting to it.

Qin Mu looked out, seeing that they were at a spirit energy transfer bridge in the center of the Primordial Realm, built within a divine city suspended in the sky, not far from the Primordial Wood. He frowned and asked, "Du Tian, why didn't we go directly to Eternal Peace?"

Before Demon King Du Tian could reply, Yun Chuxiu laughed, "Eternal Peace is a small place. There are only two spirit energy transfer bridges connected to it: one under my control, and the other in the Creating Father Palace. If you travel from other transfer bridges, you can only arrive at this divine city. This divine city is called Yuan Du, considered the center of the Primordial Realm."

Qin Mu's heart stirred. He took out his travel pass and instructed Demon King Du Tian to find a general here to register it. Casually, he asked, "Into whose hands has the Primordial Realm fallen now?"

He surveyed his surroundings. Yuan Du was magnificent, heavily guarded. The divine city floated twenty thousand miles in the sky, monitoring the operations of the various heavens in the Primordial Realm. Many Daoists were also flying in the sky, riding clouds, plucking the sun, moon, and stars, and rolling up the azure sky.

That was the Celestial Map.

A new Celestial Map must have been created, as the old one was dilapidated and too small to cover the entire Primordial Realm's sky. Thus, these Daoists from the Heavenly Court's Dao Sect were removing the old Celestial Map.

Yun Chuxiu also looked up, surprised. "You don't know? The Primordial Realm was originally supposed to fall into the hands of Heavenly Venerate Hao, but he was too impulsive, allowing Heavenly Venerate Xiao to take advantage."

She sighed mournfully, "Heavenly Venerate Xiao is still very cunning. He took advantage of the Earth Mother Primordial Lord's resurrection and Heavenly Venerate Hao being mutually wounded to force Heavenly Venerate Hao away, monopolizing the Primordial Realm. This Primordial Realm is formidable. It was originally called Yuan Du and is rich in natural treasures. When the Heavenly Court was first built, the Heavenly Emperor ordered the excavation of Yuan Du's treasures to construct the Heavenly Court..."

Qin Mu was deeply shaken, barely hearing her subsequent words.

Heavenly Venerate Xiao had obtained the Primordial Realm. That meant he was one of the souls of the Ancient God Heavenly Emperor incarnated in the Heavenly Court!

Qin Mu had previously speculated that Heavenly Venerate Qiang was the Ancient God Heavenly Emperor, but it turned out he was wrong.

"Perhaps the Ancient God Heavenly Emperor had two identities in the Heavenly Court: Heavenly Venerate Xiao and Heavenly Consort Qiang."

Qin Mu smiled, "My dear sister, how much do you know about Heavenly Venerate Xiao?"

Yun Chuxiu blinked, wary. "When you want to pump information out of me, you call me 'my dear sister,' sweet-talking me as much as possible. After you're done, I'm a vixen you guard against closely. What do you want to do by asking about Heavenly Venerate Xiao?"

Qin Mu said with utmost sincerity, "I've been in the Heavenly Court for many years now, almost five years old, and I know nothing about Heavenly Venerate Xiao. I find him very mysterious. So, I'd like to ask for your guidance. My dear sister, you must be quite familiar with Heavenly Venerate Xiao, right?"

Yun Chuxiu rolled her eyes at him and chuckled, "Heavenly Venerate Xiao is one of your human heroes. Speaking of his identity, you should actually have a good impression of him. He once served as the first Heavenly Emperor of the Southern Sovereign Heavenly Court, with the support of Heavenly Venerate Ling."

Qin Mu was dumbfounded.

Seeing his shocked expression, Yun Chuxiu couldn't help but laugh, "What kind of expression is that? Heavenly Venerate Xiao has another identity: he was a disciple of Heavenly Venerate Yun and Heavenly Venerate Yue, following them as early as the Dragon Han era. He could be said to be the most radical figure in the Celestial Alliance, initially determined to eliminate the ancient gods, even believing that Heavenly Venerate Hao, Emperor Lang Xuan, and Ancestral God King must all be eradicated."

Qin Mu felt as if he had been struck by lightning, too stunned to speak.

The Heavenly Emperor became a disciple of Heavenly Venerate Yun and Heavenly Venerate Yue? And later a disciple of Heavenly Venerate Ling?

"Heavenly Venerate Xiao was very active during the Dragon Han and Crimson Light eras. He was extremely xenophobic, deeply hostile towards demigods and ancient gods, which made him largely disliked."

Yun Chuxiu continued, "Heavenly Venerate Yun and Heavenly Venerate Yue were quite helpless and passive due to his radicalism, so they expelled him from their tutelage over a minor issue. Unexpectedly, he grew very close to Heavenly Venerate Ling. Later, after Heavenly Venerate Yun died and Heavenly Venerate Yue retired, Heavenly Venerate Ling valued him greatly and supported him in becoming the Southern Sovereign."

Qin Mu's mind was a muddled mess, unable to speak for a long time.

"It was precisely because he was a disciple of Heavenly Venerate Yun and Heavenly Venerate Yue, and also close to Heavenly Venerate Ling, that other Heavenly Venerates didn't much care for him. He also kept a low profile, rarely showing himself."

Yun Chuxiu stated calmly, "I suspect he was among the Heavenly Venerates who rescued you at the Jade Pool."

Qin Mu composed himself, summoned Demon King Du Tian and others, and said, "Let's go, we're heading to Eternal Peace."

Dragon Qilin tentatively asked, "Is Cult Master really going to Eternal Peace? What about Grand Emperor's corpse?"

Qin Mu laughed, "The Primordial Realm is Heavenly Venerate Xiao's territory. What do I have to fear? Heavenly Venerate Xiao is human; he's bound to look after his own people. When the Eternal Peace catastrophe broke out, it was he who protected the humans of Eternal Peace. If Grand Emperor truly dares to come, I'll ensure he never returns!"

Dragon Qilin hastily turned to Du Tian, "Brother Du Tian, let's return to the Heavenly Court immediately!"

Qin Mu kicked him, sneering, "Idiot, do you not trust Heavenly Venerate Xiao, a human? With Heavenly Venerate Xiao present, I'm in no danger whatsoever!"

Dragon Qilin grumbled, "Heavenly Venerate Xiao isn't here..."

Qin Mu raised a hand and pointed, laughing, "Who says Heavenly Venerate Xiao isn't here? His divine weapon, Divine Venerate Yu, is suppressing the Primordial Realm. If I encounter danger, Heavenly Venerate Xiao will surely activate Divine Venerate Yu to come to my rescue!"

Demon King Du Tian returned with the travel pass, saying, "Cult Master, it has been registered."

Qin Mu burst into laughter, feeling elated and spirited. He waved his hand, "Heavenly Venerate Xiao already knows I'm here. In that case, let's return to Eternal Peace!"

Nine dragons let out long cries, their bodies growing larger, transforming into divine dragons a hundred miles long. They soared through clouds and mist, pulling the imperial carriage. A long river of light stretched eastward across the sky.

The nine heavenly dragons galloped along the river, swiftly, amidst wind, lightning, and thunder.

Meanwhile, in the southern part of the Primordial Realm, amidst towering mountains, lay a range called Heavenly Venerate Ridge. It was unfathomably deep, perpetually shrouded in mist, and even gods and devils who mistakenly entered found no exit.

It was rumored that a Heavenly Venerate was buried there, with over a dozen heavens of varying sizes guarding the area, yet no one dared to enter.

On this day, light and flames surged from Heavenly Venerate Ridge, manifesting myriad anomalies. Various colors of light erupted from deep within the mountains. The gods from the various heavens assigned to guard the area stood on clouds, looking down, seeing the ridge permeated with precious light, as if some treasure was about to emerge.

Many gods and devils were greatly tempted. "Rumor has it that a Heavenly Venerate is buried in Heavenly Venerate Ridge. Could it be that the Heavenly Venerate's treasure is finally unearthing today? We were ordered to guard this place, and it turns out to be a boon for us!"

Numerous gods and devils flew towards the ridge, attempting to seek treasure.

However, Heavenly Venerate Ridge was indeed treacherous. These gods and devils from the various heavens entered without a sound. Only a burp was heard from within the ridge.

"With these fools sacrificing themselves to me, it's barely enough to replenish some dried-up vital energy and blood."

From within Heavenly Venerate Ridge, numerous skeletal gods and devils emerged, clad in long, flowing robes. They carried a massive bronze coffin out of the ridge, their long sleeves fluttering as they rode the wind and clouds away.

Yuan Du City.

The general guarding Yuan Du City rushed to the celestial palace located within the Primordial Wood's canopy. He swiftly entered the Jade Capital City, then the High Heavens Hall, where he bowed before a divine statue enshrined on the throne, reporting Heavenly Venerate Mu's arrival.

The divine statue, made of clay, opened its eyes upon hearing this and said, "I know. You may withdraw."

The general withdrew.

The clay statue sneered, "This brat, he just causes me trouble! He should have gone to the Eastern Extreme, but he insisted on returning to the Primordial Realm. How could Grand Emperor let him go? If I save him, the other Heavenly Venerates will know I was one of the three Heavenly Venerates who acted at the Jade Pool that day. If I don't save him, he'll probably be dead for sure! Woe is me, woe is me!"

The divine weapon, Divine Venerate Yu, floating above the Primordial Realm, slowly began to awaken, its aura gradually rising. Just then, a portal suddenly appeared out of thin air in the Primordial Wood's celestial palace.

The clay statue was stunned. "This door has opened again! The last time this door opened, it was rumored that someone saw Heavenly Venerate Mu, and a devil charged in through it, massacring many experts in my celestial palace. My palace's armies besieged him but couldn't stop him! Now that this door is open, is there another trick?"

As he thought this, the door opened, and a middle-aged man walked out. He had thick eyebrows, large eyes, an extraordinary demeanor, graying temples, and a gaze that betrayed a sense of vicissitude.

His clothes were very plain, and a sword hung at his waist. He appeared out of thin air in the Primordial Wood's celestial palace, looked up at the sky, seemingly filled with emotion, his lips moving as if he had a thousand words to speak.

"Revisiting the old country in my mind, one might laugh at my sentimentality, that I grew grey hair so early..."

He sighed wistfully, his gaze sweeping across the distance. Hundreds of miles away, the statue of Heavenly Venerate Xiao in the High Heavens Hall shattered with a crack.

The middle-aged man seemed to feel a hint of biting spring chill. He tightened his collar, crossed his arms over his chest, and began to walk away.

"This world, after all, has returned to its original state. What a pity the people of those years are no longer here, and the hearts are no longer the same..." He sighed repeatedly, his figure vanishing.

In the High Heavens Hall, the clay statue immediately reassembled, quickly forming a clay figure. It leaped from the throne, rushed out of the High Heavens Hall, and came to the front of the hall. It gazed intently, but the middle-aged man had already disappeared without a trace.

"Qin Ye, Heavenly Venerate Qin!"

A human voice came from the clay figure, murmuring, "He's come out of Carefree Village? This is no small matter. This traitor can't sit still in Carefree Village anymore..."

He looked up at the divine weapon, Divine Venerate Yu, and hesitated. Deploying Divine Venerate Yu to kill Emperor Kai, Qin Ye, was not in his interest; he saw no need to fight Emperor Kai to the death.

"Should I inform the other Heavenly Venerates about Heavenly Venerate Qin's appearance?"

The clay figure paused, then returned to the throne in the High Heavens Hall and closed its eyes. "No need to bother with him. Just pretend not to know. If Qin Ye appears, he won't stand by and watch Heavenly Venerate Mu be killed by Grand Emperor. In that case, I'll sit back and watch the tigers fight!"

"Stop the carriage."

When the Dragon Heaven Imperial Carriage flew to the upper reaches of Surging River, Qin Mu suddenly spoke, laughing, "Du Tian, we're almost at my hometown. I feel nervous about returning, so let's travel on foot."

Demon King Du Tian was greatly puzzled, laughing, "Cult Master also feels nervous returning home? If we walk, it will take at least another ten days to reach Eternal Peace."

"No matter," Qin Mu smiled.

The Dragon Heaven Imperial Carriage descended and began to move along the Surging River's surface.

Qin Mu stepped out of the carriage, took out a jade bottle, and dripped a single drop of Grand Primordium Pure Liquid. He sighed, "I dedicate one drop to my hometown."

This drop of Grand Primordium Pure Liquid fell into the river. After a moment, the mountains on both banks of the Surging River trembled. It seemed as if a giant creature was churning beneath the earth, shaking the mountains so much they couldn't remain stable.
