Chapter 927: True Form Crocodile Ancestor

**Chapter 929: Alligator Ancestor's True Form**

The reports Ye Fan saw on Earth have come true: Mars has ancient riverbeds. Researchers even theorized the existence of large lakes and oceans, which has now been confirmed.

At the North Pole of this planet, there is a demonic sea eye, so miraculous that even the heavens and earth are collapsing and being swallowed into it. No wonder the black ocean appeared and vanished so abruptly.

However, this was not the time for distraction or contemplation, as an immense surge of demonic energy, accompanied by a swirling aura of blood, erupted from beneath the colossal black sea eye, shaking stars and moon.

A peerless demon saint burst forth, its roar shattering the sky above and causing the stars across the heavens to tremble violently, as if on the verge of falling.

Ye Fan was terrified. The power of this demon saint was unfathomable; if he hadn't possessed the Human Sacred Body and profound cultivation, he would have been reduced to pulp by that single roar.

"Boom!"

A devastating aura shot skyward as the black demonic sea eye cracked open, and a colossal entity burst forth, shaking the nine heavens and ten lands!

Terrifying demonic mist surged, obscuring the demon saint's body. Only two colossal blood-red eyes, like crimson lanterns, could be seen rapidly approaching from a distance.

Clearly, it was an enormous being, whose body could likely crush countless ancient mountains. Ye Fan felt his soul being pulled from his body by the demon saint's aura, a sensation of extreme terror.

Demonic energy surged sky-high; this demon saint seemed capable of plucking stars and seizing the moon. Before it even arrived, terrifying, tsunami-like ripples had already swept forth, making the entire ancient planet Yinghuo tremble.

"Roar..."

A mighty roar, like ten thousand thunderclaps exploding simultaneously, instantly shattered the heavens and earth. Surging demonic energy boiled forth, engulfing everything in sight.

The cauldron above Ye Fan's head vibrated violently. The Mother Qi of All Things, with each strand capable of crushing a divine mountain and considered the world's most precious immortal material, now clanged loudly. Sound waves, like tangible divine swords, struck it from above, sending both it and Ye Fan flying backward.

Ye Fan coughed up mouthfuls of blood, golden droplets splattering and piercing through space. He struggled to regain his footing in the distance, his face etched with shock and awe.

This was a true demon saint, irresistible! With Sakyamuni gone, who on this ancient planet could possibly oppose it now?

Furthermore, even in the Big Dipper Star Domain, who could withstand it? Ye Fan sensed that this demon saint's vital energy and blood were incredibly vibrant, even vaster than the black ocean he had just witnessed, submerging the entire world. He felt it was far more terrifying than any Primordial Ancestor King he had ever encountered!

The black abyss surged, blotting out the sky and sun, vast and boundless, rising upwards. Every inch of space between heaven and earth was filled!

It was like a star field shaking, or a galaxy being dyed black and then falling. This was boundless divine power.

Amidst the sky-filling demonic energy, a gigantic figure stood before him, looking down. Nothing could be seen except for two colossal blood-red eyes, like crimson lanterns.

Yet, Ye Fan immediately knew who it was.

The Alligator Ancestor!

Just as he had seen years ago, its emergence from confinement today was equally, if not more, formidable. This devastating aura was enough to shake the world.

"Yinghuo has become the greatest sea of suffering in this world, this entire source-life planet has become a burial ground for immortals, and all relics have been swallowed into the demonic sea eye. I have guarded for over twenty years, about to enter and retrieve the immortal burial site that I would use to prove my Dao, but in an instant, you disturbed it, making everything for naught!"

A thundering roar, piercing the air, reverberated between heaven and earth like deafening thunder.

Although enraged, the Alligator Ancestor's voice was utterly calm and indifferent. It stared fixedly at him, its two blood-red eyes filled with cruelty and mercilessness.

"Great Alligator, old demon!" Ye Fan also shouted, filled with deep hatred. Not only had so many of his old friends died here years ago, but even after escaping to the Big Dipper Star Domain, they found no peace. This filled him with sorrow; a great enmity existed between them.

"The Source Root of the Mother Qi of All Things! What incredible heavenly fortune! Is the heavens compensating me by sending the most precious immortal material?" Ripples appeared in the Alligator Ancestor's icy blood-red eyes, then slowly dissolved as it let out a thunderous laugh.

Facing this demon saint, Ye Fan felt a profound sense of powerlessness. He wanted to kill it but was unable, clenching his fists tightly.

"To have crossed such a vast distance over twenty years ago and still be able to return, you truly exceed my expectations," the ancient great alligator said with a sinister sneer. A blurry outline, a body as massive as a mountain, emerged from the black mist.

"Demonic Alligator, you harmed so many of my classmates, why did you do that?!" Ye Fan roared.

The Alligator Ancestor looked down at him as if he were an ant, completely devoid of emotion. "Do I need to scheme when dealing with a few insects? I merely acted on impulse."

What it said was true. At its level, how could it regard mere mortals? As it claimed, it acted simply on impulse, even when it manifested a wisp of its primordial spirit to enter the ancient bronze coffin.

Ye Fan felt bitter. The deaths of many of his classmates meant absolutely nothing in the Alligator Ancestor's eyes. It merely regarded them as a few trampled ants, nothing significant enough to leave a mark in its mind.

"Why didn't you personally board the ancient bronze coffin?"

"I didn't leave for three reasons: first, because of what was inside that ancient bronze coffin; second, because I knew Sakyamuni was ahead on that path, and I did not wish to encounter him again; and third, because I was waiting for the immortal opportunity that the demonic sea eye of Yinghuo presents once every thousand years."

At this, the Alligator Ancestor's blood-red eyes turned cold again. Ye Fan had ruined its grand plan, fueling its boundless killing intent.

Suddenly, a hundred thousand celestial swords soared into the sky, clanging powerfully, shaking heaven and earth. They were individual alligator scales, ringing resonantly as they transformed into a suit of armor above the black waters.

Amidst metallic reverberations, a suit of black-gold armor appeared on the Alligator Ancestor's body. It transformed into a human form, tall and majestic, two meters in height, and descended.

This was a powerfully built middle-aged man, with an imposing aura like a demon god. He walked forward step by step, wreathed in swirling bands of demonic mist that were so oppressive they threatened to suffocate those nearby.

Unlike the divine alligator seen in the Big Dipper Star Domain, its entire armor was black, glinting with a cold metallic sheen. Its whole body, except for its thick black hair and blood-red eyes, was enveloped within it.

Transcendent Holy Armor!

An entity capable of forging Transcendent Holy Armor was incredibly terrifying. Especially a demon saint like this, clearly capable of traversing star domains, would be difficult for anyone in the Big Dipper to subdue!

"Why were you suppressed here? Are you from the blue planet in this star field?" While Ye Fan's heart was filled with intense hatred, he also had many questions.

"Two thousand years ago, I painstakingly crossed the starry sky to that blue planet in search of ancient immortals, never expecting to be suppressed by Sakyamuni."

As the Alligator Ancestor spoke of the past, its eyes grew colder, yet its voice remained utterly devoid of emotion, ruthless and indifferent.

"Do you know why that blue planet now lacks cultivators?" Despite wanting to devour its flesh and drink its blood, Ye Fan was more eager to uncover ancient secrets.

"I encountered an ancient starry road, went against the immortals, and came here chasing the secrets of immortals, only to be suppressed." The Alligator Ancestor's eyes surged with killing intent; a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood appeared, dripping fresh, indicating at a glance that it had slaughtered countless beings over its long lifespan.

"Do you know the secret of the ancient bronze coffin pulled by nine dragons?" Ye Fan rarely encountered an ancient demon saint so close to Earth, and he was eager to learn all its secrets.

"Boy, you talk too much. I'll just send you on your way; I've already answered plenty of your questions." The Alligator Ancestor's killing intent filled the sky, and with a slight tremor of its body, heaven and earth shattered!

"Wait! Do you know how I managed to reverse my return? I know everything about Sakyamuni. If you tell me your secrets, I'll tell you about what's on the other side of the starry sky!" Ye Fan shouted, both to satisfy his curiosity and to buy time.

"The Nine Dragons Pulling Coffin, mysterious and distant, I have seen it twice in my life. The first time was five thousand years ago, on a shattered source-life planet deep within a star field. I thought I had found a great opportunity and tried to open it, but it nearly destroyed my lifelong cultivation. I barely escaped with my life." The ancient great alligator spoke with a haunting tone.

"How long has it truly existed..." Ye Fan murmured to himself, his heart filled with shock.

Setting aside the Nine Dragons Pulling Coffin, the Alligator Ancestor's lifespan alone was terrifying. It had existed for five thousand years, yet the recorded history of ancient China didn't stretch back that far!

Of course, that lost period of time wasn't counted. By now, he knew without anyone needing to explain that an age of gods and demons must have once existed on Earth.

"Where exactly were you born? How many source-life planets are there in the desolate universe, and how are they connected? Where does the ancient starry road end? Do immortals truly exist in this world...?"

Ye Fan had too many questions and wanted clear answers to all of them. However, the Alligator Ancestor sneered, saying, "Boy, your questions are too numerous. I'll just directly shatter your primordial spirit and extract your memories. Then I'll know everything about Sakyamuni and the path ahead. I don't have time to listen to your chatter."

As it spoke, it extended a massive hand to grasp forward. With a resounding "rumble," the sky collapsed as the black hand covered everything.

Ye Fan's expression changed. This was a demon saint; even a hundred or a thousand of him would be useless. The difference in cultivation realms was too vast; even an immortal fetus would be of no help.

He swiftly vibrated the cauldron, causing the Mother Qi of All Things to descend and completely shield him. At the same time, he prepared to unleash a terrifying strike.

That black colossal hand was clearly reaching for the cauldron. Faced with such unparalleled immortal material, even ancient Great Emperors would be moved, let alone the Alligator Ancestor, who could no longer contain itself.

Suddenly, a brilliant light surged forth, nine-colored flames filling the sky and instantly engulfing the black colossal hand, burning fiercely.

A muffled groan was heard as the Alligator Ancestor's black colossal hand turned into a torch, its flames inextinguishable, nearly evaporating the water near the black sea eye.

Ye Fan immediately conjured the Mysterious Jade Platform, intending to traverse space and escape, but the formation platform shattered into dust on the spot.

"A mere human, yet you injured me..." The Alligator Ancestor's words were chillingly cold. Its hand was severely injured, and after continuously deploying Dao laws, it finally managed to extinguish the flames with difficulty.

"You caused the death of so many of my old friends; today, I settle this score with you!" Ye Fan also threw caution to the wind, preparing to unleash a terrifying brass weapon.

"In my eyes, you are merely a group of insects. I casually laid down future plans and sent a wisp of my primordial spirit to the Big Dipper. To be honest, I have never considered you significant. As for ants like you, I can wipe out billions with one hand," the Alligator Ancestor said with a trace of disdain.

"One day, you too will be trampled underfoot like an ant!" Ye Fan said coldly. He wanted to unleash the terrifying brass weapon, but it was still night, and dawn hadn't broken. He feared he might perish himself if he did.

"Your physique is very special, and your destiny is extraordinary. You were even able to find the Source Root of the Mother Qi of All Things, a world-shaking immortal material that even ancient Great Emperors yearned for. Today, I will kill you and seize all your human Dao foundations, you ant," the Alligator Ancestor said chillingly.

Waves of Buddhist chants resounded, as if Bodhisattvas and ancient Buddhas from all heavens were reciting scriptures. Dense arrays of runes appeared, and immeasurable golden light surged toward them. The golden ancient ship, which had been circling within the demonic sea eye, now sailed towards their location.

All five hundred Golden Arhats were skin and bone, yet their bodies shone with radiant divine light. It was originally thought they had all passed away, but at this moment, one divine monk opened his eyes.

"You are that ancient Buddha from Leiyin Temple! You're still alive!" the Alligator Ancestor roared.
