Chapter 260: All Completely Fallen

Another month passed.

Most of the elves were still striving, but only a small number had acquired Hippogryph mounts and transitioned into the more powerful Hippogryph Archers. Meanwhile, the Hunter's Hall still offered various unowned mounts for regular elven archers to transition.

Inside his room, Akina's Speed continued his research. "I've finally developed the new bloodline potion!" he exclaimed, thrilling with excitement.

In the previous Wizard World, humans who integrated Slime genes transformed into Beastmen Behemoths, and those who integrated "Funeral Fowl" genes became Harpies. So, could the elves integrate genes from other creatures?

He discovered a secret: ordinary species in nature generally couldn't have their bloodlines integrated. Just like in the Wizard World, humans couldn't integrate the bloodlines of common giant beasts; they could only integrate the extraordinary bloodlines of some potent species.

"But to my surprise," he said, taking out the corpse of a Thunder Rat, "the magic beasts here naturally possess extraordinary energy. Their ancient ancestors seem to have been some kind of potent extraordinary species! For example, this magic beast has supernatural abilities; it can discharge lightning, somewhat similar to a previous 'idiot's' potent species—the God-Beating Whip!"

The magic beasts of this world seemed to harbor ancestral bloodlines, albeit very diluted and mutated. However, he could extract, refine, and merge them to create entirely new potent species. This was the origin of the "Moon Leopard" and "Hippogryph."

He looked at the latest giant bear before him. It was incredibly powerful, a fusion of five magic beasts. However, the success rate of creating it was too low. He had failed hundreds of times, completely emptying his ill-gotten savings, just to manage to produce one. Even if he were given the same energy again, he might not be able to produce another.

"This giant bear is extremely powerful, but it cannot be mass-produced," he explained. "Its strength lies not just in its power, but in its extremely high bloodline compatibility after my genetic modification, allowing elves to integrate with the giant bear bloodline."

This was the daring idea of a mad scientist. Humans integrated with "Funeral Fowl" genes became Harpies. What would elves become if they integrated with giant bear genes? He already had some guesses. This giant bear actually possessed flesh and blood genes similar to an Ancestral Witch's true form, meaning it could potentially have a combat mode!

"Perhaps after integration, they could transform into a giant bear, like some 'idiot' did... maybe they would be Druids, Raptor Druids!" His eyes gradually lit up. He then abruptly killed the giant bear, collected all its blood, and destroyed the corpse without a trace.

He understood how terrifying the species he had bred and fused was, and what a monstrous upheaval it would be for the elf race. It couldn't be allowed to survive; if the Sun Ancient Tree discovered it, everything would be over. The Sun Ancient Tree would undoubtedly breed this giant bear frantically, continuously extracting its blood. Widespread proliferation was not what he wanted to see; rarity made things valuable.

He collected the only available blood, then put up a sign at the entrance: "Quarterly Celebration Event: Hidden Class Advancement Potion—Elven Hero Raptor Druid, priced at 300,000 Sun Coins. Currently only one potion available (VIP5 purchase only)."

As soon as this notice was posted, it immediately caused a sensation.

"Elven Hero, advancement potion?""How is this possible! Using this potion could turn someone into an Elven Hero? As powerful as Yumia, Song of Shadow, or Kiyo, the Alchemist?"

Countless elves had eyes burning with fervent desire. But 300,000 Sun Coins! At this point, few elves could even afford an 8,000-coin Hippogryph mount. What was the point of displaying something that seemed like an astronomical price? It only made them drool.

Akina's Speed, however, thought differently. There were still "tycoons" who could afford it. He had already tricked the entire elven tribe into spending heavily, turning them into "cash cows." Only one significant individual remained, observing from the sidelines, as he hadn't yet offered anything valuable enough to tempt them...

He kept the notice at the door and continued his research and work. Three peaceful days passed, until the Sun Ancient Tree finally couldn't resist. "Is it really an Elven Hero?" it asked. For the Sun Ancient Tree, this was incredibly enticing. Because in its life-plant form, it had no combat ability and relied on breeding elves for protection. However, ordinary elves were too weak. How it longed for a truly loyal Elven Hero of its own!

Akina's Speed replied, "Of course, it's an Elven Hero."

"Do you know what happens if you deceive me!?"

"I know."

"According to your description, can any elf become an Elven Hero by using this bloodline potion?"

"Yes."

Akina's Speed answered calmly. He knew it was impossible to deceive the Sun Ancient Tree, and he hadn't left any contingencies. After all, it wasn't a life form he had created himself, just blood he had bred. Once integrated into an elf, that elf would naturally be beyond his control. And while the giant bear bloodline was strong, it was only generally powerful—it couldn't compare to the likes of Yumia's group.

"300,000! I'll take it!" The Sun Elf Ancient Tree gritted its teeth. For it, this was a crippling expense, enough to breed fifteen elves.

Half a day later, a beautiful female elf designated by the Sun Ancient Tree consumed the potion and transformed into a Raptor Druid. She possessed the special ability to shapeshift into a giant bear and was incredibly powerful. The entire Sun Elf tribe erupted in excitement!

"My heavens!""She really can become an Elven Hero! She has special abilities!""It's incredible! Becoming an Elven Hero means approaching the power of Elf King Yumia!"

The Sun Ancient Tree was also extremely excited and immediately fully joined the ranks of heavy spenders. "What else do you have? I'll satisfy all your demands!"

Akina's Speed was also very satisfied. The elven tribe was now incredibly powerful, with Moonrider Huntresses, Hippogryph Archers, countless powerful and elegant mounts accompanying the female elves, and the Raptor Druid. After all, these "cash cows" had experienced becoming stronger, and understood that the stronger they became, the more money they could earn, thus prompting them to spend even more energy on themselves. Especially with a major "landowner" right in front of him!

Akina's Speed, very pleased, spoke to the Elven Ancient Tree, "Another 300,000 energy! With energy, you can become stronger! I can create Chimeras comparable to dragons! I can even create Elven Dragons specifically for the Sun Elf tribe! I can also create Mountain Giants!"

The Sun Ancient Tree: "!!!"

It suddenly felt a headache, stating, "You've completely drained me. All of our tribe's savings are gone now." It had previously saved enough energy from dozens of elf fruits to nurture new elves, but it had been instantly depleted: seven to breed this alchemist, and fifteen to purchase one Raptor Druid. That was hundreds of years' worth of its savings!

Akina's Speed was speechless, dumbfounded. He had thought he could squeeze out more; had her savings really been depleted so quickly? He couldn't help but shake his head and say, "Your struggle to earn energy is quite disheveled, but your spending habits are truly captivating."
