Chapter 259: Pay Up, Elf Girl

The concept that "you can become stronger by spending money" would be unthinkable in this fantastical Western elven world. However, a certain wicked internet-addicted player, accustomed to online games, was happily enticing these pure, indigenous elves, subtly guiding them towards a strange worldview.

"P2W, what is that?" countless innocent and beautiful elves couldn't help but ask in crisp voices.

She slowly narrated, in a captivating tone, "P2W is the path to rapid strength. P2W is the sole supreme truth that we elves pursue."

Three days later.

In a tree hall, a beautiful elven girl was sitting amidst a pile of bottles and jars, tinkering. Various alchemy tools were arranged nearby, making her seem like an alchemist from a fantasy world.

"It's finally almost ready."

As the elven hero, for the past few days, she had instructed the elves to bring out the furball and skeletal prototypes of various magical beasts from their warehouses. She extracted the beast's bloodline genes, then proceeded to duplicate, merge, and hybridize them.

"Finally, I've created the first creature—an elven mount tailor-made for our race. It's time to open the alchemy factory and create powerful lifeforms for the elves!"

As a master of evolution, carrying a portable life alchemy factory, equivalent to a simplified *Spore Evolution* sandbox, made her incredibly powerful – to say otherwise would be a lie.

Whoosh!

The circular ring behind her slowly expanded. The six copper coins hanging from it suddenly swelled, gradually transforming into fruits that dropped to the ground.

Clatter!

One by one, small black panther-like creatures slowly emerged. Their elegant, agile forms, sharp, cold gazes, and powerful physiques evoked a chilling sense of danger.

Although this was merely the creature's prototype, still incomplete and only at Tier 2, this creature would become increasingly powerful as she continued its evolution.

"Since it looks like a panther, let's call it a Moon Panther," she mused. She then walked out and posted an announcement.

The "Hunter's Hall" was officially open for business.

The Sun Elves were stunned, unsure what their hero, Kuiya, was up to. Nevertheless, they approached the massive tree-room in unison and stepped inside.

Black panthers, one by one, were gracefully observing them as they lay on the ground.

"So handsome!"

"What kind of creature is this? It's so beautiful, I've never seen anything like it."

The elven maidens' eyes instantly lit up. For the beauty-loving elves, these adorable and handsome small black panthers perfectly struck a chord with their aesthetic sensibilities.

"These are mounts that will recognize you as their master and obey your commands. Do you want them? If so, pay up."

A beautiful, slender elven hero stood nearby, smiling at the innocent and naive elven beauties.

"A complete Tier 1 magic beast corpse can be exchanged for 10 Sun Coins, Tier 2 for 50 Sun Coins, Tier 3 for 300 Sun Coins, and Tier 4 for 2,000 Sun Coins," she carefully explained the currency values to the crowd, instructing them to bring corpses for exchange.

"And the price for a Tier 1 Moon Rider mount is 200 Sun Coins. A Tier 2 Moon Rider mount is 1,100 Sun Coins."

It took twenty Tier 1 beasts to get one Tier 1 mount. One could only imagine how black-hearted she was.

"Now, for our grand opening event! A first-time deposit of 600 Sun Coins will grant you VIP1 membership, providing a 10% discount on future purchases. A one-time deposit of 1,000 Sun Coins will give you an 8.5% discount, and many special items will require higher VIP tiers!"

Countless elves were momentarily stunned. Their gazes, now burning with desire for the mounts, quickly turned to determination. They gripped their knives and headed out into the forest.

Several days passed.

The elves had previously lived a primitive and austere life of cultivation, sensing the magic net and practicing every day. They had never experienced such temptation. Now, they were deeply immersed in the P2W shopping frenzy, discovering that as long as they provided sufficiently powerful creature corpses, they could acquire many things: weapons, equipment, and mounts.

"As expected, only cool and handsome mounts are popular."

Meanwhile, Qiunaming Mountain Speed, silently watched their struggling figures, a charming smile playing on her lips. "Hmph! Did I evolve this species and become an alchemist just to grind for levels? No! It's to comfortably lie back and count money! Isn't getting a cut delightful?"

"These P2W whales will get addicted! All I need to do is figure out how to trick them into spending money, create events, release new fashion items, new mounts, and sell equipment. That way, they'll just keep funding me!"

Make her honestly grind for levels? Impossible! She wasn't some idiot; of course, she'd find ways to trick people! She'd cause chaos!

She knew she was a "combat scrub." This method was clearly the best.

Furthermore, their mounts were species she herself had propagated. They possessed no intelligence, only beastly instincts. Although she had programmed them to obey their masters, she could instantly seize control when necessary.

"They're practically working for me!"

She was incredibly pleased.

The magic beast corpses they brought back not only provided energy for her to create life, but she could also use the corpses to research and produce various alchemical weapons and armor. After all, she had come from a wizarding world, and her alchemy skills weren't learned for nothing. Moreover, life alchemy itself was the highest mystery of alchemy.

The mounts were soul-bound and untradeable, only recognizing a single master. Equipment couldn't be easily traded either because it would naturally wear down with extended use, so she wasn't worried about them trading amongst themselves; it would break eventually anyway.

In just one short month, she had established the "Hunter's Hall," created the Moon Panther as an elven mount, sold them in large quantities, and earned a massive amount of money.

"I'm so envious!"

"I want one too!"

"Sister, I want one. Can you buy me one?"

The elves watched the stylish Moon Panther mounts, and one by one, they transitioned from ordinary elven archers to Moon Riders and huntresses. The others were incredibly envious and rushed to spend money to become stronger.

But these innocent and lovely elves hadn't enjoyed their purchases for long—less than a month had passed—when a new mount was introduced. It was a beautiful, gigantic bird: the "Gryphon," with immense wings and incredible speed, a flying mount.

"It can fly!"

"Compared to the Moon Panther, it's incredibly powerful!"

"I want to fly!"

Many elves' eyes burned with excitement. The ability to fly and enjoy the scenery from high altitudes was a dream for every terrestrial creature, and they were no exception.

"Top up now! A Tier 2 Gryphon is 1,000 Sun Coins, and a Tier 3 Gryphon is 8,000 Sun Coins," a tempting voice announced. "VIP3 gets you an 8.5% discount. For a one-time top-up of just 10,000 Sun Coins, you can become VIP3. Are you sure you don't want to get VIP3 while you're at it?"

"For the next two weeks, we have a special event: top up to buy mounts and get a 20% rebate! The more you top up, the more you earn, and the more this alchemist 'loses'!"

The elves were all stunned.

How terrifying was this price! 10,000 Sun Coins was equivalent to a thousand Tier 1 magic beasts! Most Tier 1 beasts had already been hunted to extinction by them, leaving only Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. The required quantity was simply astronomical! But they were fearless, planning to ride their Moon Riders to more distant mountain ranges.

"Damn it, why didn't the Gryphon come out sooner!"

"Yeah, I would've never bought the Moon Panther if I'd known!"

Countless elves were filled with regret and felt exhausted. Their Moon Panthers hadn't even been enjoyed for a full month before a new mount was released, and the sight of the new flying mount made their hearts itch with desire again.
