Chapter 3846: Training the Immortal Armor Army

A spacious and brightly lit hall was supported by eighteen thick golden stone pillars. Each golden stone pillar was carved with a lifelike flood dragon, and from the mouth of each dragon, a stream of golden flame erupted, gathering at the base of a large red cauldron, holding it suspended in mid-air.

Wang Zongyun, Wang Jiye, Su Hongshang, Wang Yuyu, and Wang Ruyi stood in the hall, each holding a shimmering red formation plate in their hands, their expressions solemn.

Wang Jiye changed his incantation and cast several spell seals into the red formation plate. The other four, including Wang Ruyi, followed suit.

The flood dragons on the stone pillars stopped spewing flames, and the large red cauldron descended to the ground.

Wang Jiye opened the cauldron lid, and five identical blue halberds flew out, floating in mid-air. These were the Zhenhai Halberds, a set of immortal artifacts forged primarily from Profound Water Jade Crystal.

All five of them were early-stage True Immortals. Working together on artifact refining saved them a lot of time and allowed for mutual exchange. As they didn't yet possess immortal flames or powerful tools like the Azure Lotus Creation Cauldron, their artifact refining efficiency was relatively low, which was the norm for most immortal artifact masters.

Clan members in Haoyang City mined the raw Profound Water Jade Crystal ore, transported it back to the Sky Morning Sea Domain, and then immortal artifact masters refined it into immortal artifacts for sale or distribution to their own clan members.

Wang Zongyun's face lit up with joy. She was very proud to see their efforts come to fruition.

"Everyone has worked hard," Wang Jiye said pleasantly. "Go back and rest well. Cultivation is important, and there are no immediate tasks for now." Wang Qingfeng had gone to the Chaos Continent, and Wang Changsheng was in secluded cultivation. Among the immortal artifact masters in the clan, Wang Jiye held the highest seniority.

Wang Zongyun and the other four readily agreed and left one after another.

Wang Jiye took out a red magic plate, cast a spell seal into it, and asked where the Patriarch was, stating he had something to report and a set of low-grade immortal artifacts to deliver.

Wang Yongqian's voice replied that she was in Azure Cloud Valley and he should come directly.

Wang Jiye agreed, saying he would go immediately. He put away the red magic plate and the Zhenhai Halberds and walked out. Before long, he appeared before a massive valley shrouded in white mist. Outside the valley stood a golden stone tablet over ten zhang tall, inscribed with the three golden characters "Azure Cloud Valley".

The white mist churned and parted, revealing a passage, and Wang Jiye stepped inside.

After passing through the white mist, he emerged into a massive valley. Inside the valley was a towering pagoda glowing with red light, and Wang Yongqian stood near it.

Wang Jiye knew that the clan was training their Immortal Armor Army, and Wang Lihe, Wang Xiulong, and Wang Xiuling had all been selected.

The red towering pagoda was the Li Fire Illusionary Demon Tower, into which the souls of some True Immortal stage demonic beasts had been refined. Wang Lihe and the other two were undergoing trials while wearing Chaos Armor. The Li Fire Illusionary Demon Tower would conjure True Immortal stage demonic beasts to attack them.

They needed to cooperate with each other to advance to higher levels, ensuring better coordination when facing enemies later, as last-minute efforts would not suffice.

Wang Jiye took out a blue storage bracelet and handed it to Wang Yongqian, giving a detailed report on the artifact refining process.

Wang Yongqian told them they had worked hard and should rest well. She would issue instructions to allocate a sum of good deeds points to them later.

Even True Immortal cultivators needed to exchange good deeds points for cultivation resources, ensuring fairness for everyone.

Wang Jiye nodded. The eleventh floor of the Li Fire Illusionary Demon Tower glowed with a dazzling red light, and three streaks of escape light flew out and landed on the ground, revealing Wang Lihe and the other two.

Their faces were pale, appearing to have severely depleted their immortal essence.

The Chaos Armor consumed too much immortal essence. When wearing it for the trials, they couldn't last for too long and had to achieve quick victories.

They used flying swords to deal with demonic beasts and set up sword formations. This was fine for ordinary enemies, but not as easy against Chaos Beasts of the same rank.

Wang Lihe's face showed regret, as he lamented that they had failed again, just barely missing success.

Protected by the Chaos Armor, the conjured demonic beasts couldn't kill them. However, it was still not easy for them to reach higher levels.

Wang Yongqian advised them to practice more cooperation, assuring them they would eventually succeed and had already made great progress compared to when they started. She urged them to rest well and return for the trials next time, emphasizing that such matters could not be rushed.

Even three Immortal Armor Army members were not to be underestimated.

Wang Lihe and the other two agreed and left Azure Cloud Valley.

As soon as Wang Yongqian returned to her residence, Wang Yulan and Wang Rumeng descended from the sky, landing before her.

Wang Yulan spoke, her face full of pride, announcing that they had successfully refined True Immortal stage talisman soldiers.

Wang Yongqian exclaimed in surprise at the True Immortal stage talisman soldiers, noting it was no easy feat.

Wang Yulan explained that it was thanks to the materials allocated by the clan; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to practice extensively.

The Wang family possessed a secret art called the Great Void Soul Forging Art. Clan members who cultivated this art generally had stronger divine sense than cultivators of the same stage, an advantage that naturally needed to be fully utilized.

During combat, talisman soldiers, puppet beasts, and bean soldiers could all provide significant assistance. However, all of these required sufficiently powerful divine sense to control.

Wang Rumeng took out an exquisite golden jade box and handed it to Wang Yongqian.

Wang Yongqian opened the jade box. Inside were a red talisman and an earthy yellow talisman, both bearing humanoid patterns on their surfaces.

Wang Yongqian put away the two talismans and said with a smile that their work was excellent and they could go claim their good deeds points later.

Wang Yulan and Wang Rumeng readily agreed. After a few moments of small talk, they took their leave. Wang Yongqian sensed something and took out a shimmering spirit mirror. She cast a spell seal into it, and Wang Moxin's face appeared on the mirror's surface.

Wang Moxin requested guidance, stating that he had found the soul of an early-stage True Immortal True Spirit at an underground auction, but the seller wanted the core of a three-colored Chaos Beast in exchange.

For ordinary items, he had full authority, but Chaos Beast cores were quite valuable.

Wang Yongqian agreed to the exchange for the soul of an early-stage True Immortal True Spirit. The Wang family had a good number of three-colored Chaos Beast cores, so exchanging one was not an issue.

Wang Moxin replied that he would proceed with the exchange. After he finished speaking, the mirror surface dimmed.

Wang Yongqian contacted Wang Yong'an to inquire about the True Spirit Immortal Slaying Formation.

Wang Yong'an reported that the formation flags and plates had all been refined, but the number of True Immortal stage True Spirit souls was not large.

Bai Yuqi and Ye Haitang had gone to the Chaos Continent, while Wang Yong'an remained in the Sky Morning Sea Domain, responsible for all matters related to immortal formations.

Wang Yongqian told him that Moxin had acquired another early-stage True Immortal True Spirit soul, which would be given to him later to refine into the formation to enhance the power of the True Spirit Immortal Slaying Formation.

Wang Yong'an said excitedly that it was wonderful and thanked the Patriarch.

After a brief chat, Wang Yongqian cut the connection and walked towards a green pavilion.

She entered a secret chamber, sat cross-legged on a golden meditation mat, and began cultivating.
