Chapter 3418: 青山闭关冲击大乘(今天没了)

The Jinjie and Witch tribes are adversaries. Over the years, Jinjie cultivators have become quite familiar with the Witch tribe's curses and can resolve those that aren't too difficult.

Wang Ruyi swept her divine sense, her eyebrows furrowing tightly as she looked at Jin Xian. "Fellow Daoist Jin, please help me," she said, "I will certainly repay you handsomely."

"Lady Long, there's no need for such formalities," Jin Xian replied solemnly. "Without you, Fellow Daoist Shi and I would have been killed long ago. Our Jinjie tribe will do everything we can to help." He took the purple jade slip and, sweeping his divine sense over it, his brow furrowed.

He contacted his clansmen and sent them to collect the materials on the list.

The Nine Flames Flower only grows in volcanic regions; it cannot be cultivated in ordinary environments.

In less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, Jin Xian received a report from his clansmen.

"Lady Wang, our tribal treasury does not have a thirty-thousand-year-old Nine Flames Flower," Jin Xian said earnestly. "I've sent people to search elsewhere. Don't worry, a friend's troubles are our Jinjie tribe's troubles."

"I know a place that might have a thirty-thousand-year-old Nine Flames Flower," the purple-clad young woman said with a troubled expression, "but it's very dangerous there."

"Lady Shi, please tell me quickly!" Wang Ruyi eagerly asked, her face full of anticipation. "As long as it can save my husband, I will venture into any dangerous place, no matter how perilous."

"The Golden Flame Ruins," the purple-clad young woman slowly explained. "It's an ancient battlefield with many lingering restrictions and numerous volcanoes. But that's not even the worst of it; it's the territory of the Void Spirit tribe, and they don't get along with our Jinjie tribe."

"Give me a map of the Golden Flame Ruins," Wang Ruyi said solemnly. "I'll go find the Nine Flames Flower right away."

"Lady Shi, please stay here and take care of Fellow Daoist Long," Jin Xian instructed. "Lady Long and I will go look for the Nine Flames Flower. No matter the cost, we must break this curse."

"Fellow Daoist Jin, rest assured," the purple-clad young woman replied. "If it weren't for Fellow Daoist Long and Lady Long, my Venerable Ancestor would have perished. I will take good care of them. Please be very careful yourselves." The purple-clad young woman took out a piece of green beast hide and handed it to Wang Ruyi. "This is a route map of the Golden Flame Ruins that I explored in my earlier years," she explained. "Gold markings represent restrictions, red markings represent powerful demonic beasts, and green markings represent spiritual herbs. I hope it can help you."

"Thank you very much, Lady Shi," Wang Ruyi said, taking out a red-glowing scimitar and handing it to the purple-clad young woman. "I'll give you this Mid-grade Spirit Treasure. Once my husband is rescued, I will offer you another handsome reward. I am a seventh-tier artifact refiner; as long as I have the materials, I can refine Mid-grade Spirit Treasures and seventh-tier puppet beasts." She was demonstrating her value, as she wouldn't rely solely on the Jinjie tribe's benevolence; in human interactions, mutual benefit is the most practical. The Jinjie tribe excels at raising spiritual beasts but is not skilled in artifact refining. While she could refine Mid-grade Spirit Treasures, she hadn't yet been able to refine seventh-tier puppet beasts.

The purple-clad young woman politely declined, but unable to resist Wang Ruyi's repeated insistence, she accepted it.

Wang Ruyi and Jin Xian departed, while the purple-clad young woman stayed behind to care for Long Qingfeng.

The Tianyang Sand Sea is a vast desert, with yellow sand filling the sky and strong winds blowing constantly.

To the southwest of the Tianyang Sand Sea lay an endless expanse of azure sea. A huge island, when viewed from high above, resembled a manatee lying prone. Many buildings of varying sizes dotted the island, and cultivators could be seen moving about.

In a hundred-mu estate, Wang Mengbin and Bai Yuqi sat in a stone pavilion, sipping tea and chatting. After leaving Canghai, they had followed two Soul Transformation cultivators to Manatee Island.

Manatee Island is not far from the Tianyang Sand Sea. Although there are humans in the Tianyang Sand Sea, their strength is not great. With Grandmaster Miaode of the Heavenly Buddha Sect advancing to the Mahayana stage, the human race's strength had expanded significantly, and Manatee Island was established under these circumstances. The Heavenly Buddha Sect had stationed an Integration cultivator, Jade Zen Master, on Manatee Island. Jade Zen Master, Grandmaster Miaode's second disciple, had been visited by Wang Mengbin and Bai Yuqi, who hoped to meet Grandmaster Miaode himself. Upon learning they were from the Wang family of Qinglian Island, Jade Zen Master informed them of Wang Changsheng's advancement to the Mahayana stage. He also told them that Grandmaster Miaode was in seclusion and thus unable to meet them. Grandmaster Miaode's whereabouts were a top secret of the Heavenly Buddha Sect and could not be revealed casually to outsiders.

Upon learning of Wang Changsheng's advancement to Mahayana, Wang Mengbin and Bai Yuqi were filled with both surprise and joy.

Jin Yuyan had parted ways with them to search for tribulation-transcending materials, as it would otherwise be very difficult to pass the fifth Grand Heavenly Tribulation.

"If we want to return to the Xuanling Continent," Wang Mengbin began, "we either cross the sea or wait for the Ye family's Ice Lion vessel to pass by. I plan to go into seclusion for a period of cultivation." He was already in the late Integration stage, just a step away from Grand Completion. According to Jade Zen Master, crossing the sea would be very difficult. When Grandmaster Miaode led them across the sea previously, they nearly died at the jaws of an eighth-tier demonic beast, saved only by their timely encounter with the Ye family's Ice Lion vessel. He did not want to cross the sea and intended to go into seclusion for cultivation, awaiting the Ice Lion vessel's arrival.

Bai Yuqi nodded. "Husband, you can cultivate in peace," she said. "I'll keep an eye out for the Ice Lion vessel."

"Perhaps by the time we return to the Xuanling Continent," Wang Mengbin said with a smile, his face filled with anticipation, "our Venerable Ancestor and Patriarch Qingshan will have already advanced to the Mahayana stage." The Venerable Ancestor he referred to was Wang Ruyan, who had been in the late Integration stage for a long time. After so many years, it wouldn't be surprising if she had attempted to break through to the Mahayana stage. Wang Qingshan possessed an Ephemeral Origin Fruit, so unless something unexpected happened, he would certainly have advanced to the late Integration stage, and perhaps even reached Grand Completion of the Integration stage.

"I hope so," Bai Yuqi said with a beaming smile. "With the merits we've accumulated, asking the Venerable Ancestor for help in obtaining spiritual items to aid in breaking through to the Mahayana stage shouldn't be a big problem." They had previously brought back the Ephemeral Origin Fruit, and now they had obtained a page of the Heavenly Void Jade Book; their contributions were significant.

Wang Mengbin nodded. After chatting for a while, he stood up, entered a secret chamber, sat down cross-legged, and began to cultivate his spiritual power. A silvery glow emerged from his body, and countless silver electric arcs flickered. He closed his eyes.

Demonic Realm, Sky Eagle Continent.

The Black Eagle Mountain Range stretched for ten million miles. The spiritual energy here was sparse, and high-level cultivators rarely stayed.

A long green rainbow appeared on the distant horizon. Not long after, it flew into the mountain range and hovered above a valley that branched in all directions. Inside the valley was a cave about ten feet wide.

As the escaping light subsided, a green, shimmering flying boat was revealed, with Wang Qingshan and Wang Lei standing upon it. He had been searching for a suitable place to go into seclusion and attempt to break through to the Mahayana stage. Prior to this, he had spent over a thousand years refining his magical power.

"This will do!" Wang Qingshan instructed.

Wang Lei took out formation flags and a formation disc to set up a formation. He cast a spell into the disc, and a large amount of white mist surged from the ground, enveloping the entire valley.

Wang Qingshan made a hand seal, and the green flying boat flew into the valley, becoming enveloped by the white mist.

"Stand guard for me outside," Wang Qingshan instructed, releasing the stone figure and telling it to assist Wang Lei in guarding him. "Do not allow anyone to disturb me while I attempt to break through to the Mahayana stage."

He walked into the somewhat dark and damp cave. Not long after, he emerged into a cavern about an acre in size.

Wang Qingshan took out a green meditation mat, sat down cross-legged, and began to meditate and regulate his breath. An hour later, his condition was optimally adjusted, and he began to cultivate his spiritual power.

A clear sword hum resounded, and streaks of green sword shadows appeared out of thin air, circling around him ceaselessly.
