Chapter 3381: Chemical Immortal Ointment

Mystic Crane Island, the ancestral land of the Mystic Crane Clan. In the southeastern corner of the island, a palace crafted from azure jade stone bore a plaque inscribed with the three characters: "Mystic Crane Hall."

The main gate of Mystic Crane Hall stood open. A voluptuous young woman in a green dress sat on the main seat, her hair styled in a bun adorned with golden pearl hairpins. The terrifying spiritual pressure she exuded clearly indicated she was a mid-Fusion cultivator.

This was Feng Qing, the leader of the Mystic Crane Clan.

The previous leader of the Mystic Crane Clan, a late-Fusion cultivator, had died during the fifth great heavenly tribulation. Feng Qing had recently taken over, a fact kept strictly confidential.

To one side sat a short, stout old man in a green robe, a burly, muscular man in a golden shirt, and a beautiful young woman in a purple dress. The aura of these three was significantly stronger than Feng Qing's; all were late-Fusion cultivators.

“Madam Feng, this fellow Daoist seems unfamiliar! I've never seen them before,” the burly man in the golden shirt commented curiously, his gaze fixed on the golden-robed old man.

This was Halangtai, the leader of the Barbarian Clan.

“Indeed! I didn't see this fellow Daoist during the last great war either,” the young woman in the purple dress added, looking puzzled.

This was Tong Yan, the leader of the Chi Clan.

“Allow me to introduce you,” Feng Qing explained. “This is fellow Daoist Feng Xuan. He hails from the Azure Glaze Sea Region and is not a member of our Mystic Crane Clan. However, his relations with the human race are also poor; if not for human cultivators, he would not have ended up in Canghai.”

“During the last great war, we suffered considerable losses. Are we about to start another one?” Halangtai said with a frown. Limited by Canghai's territory and cultivation resources, the human, Spiritflame, Mystic Crane, Barbarian, and Chi clans were of roughly equal strength. The Barbarian Clan, for instance, had only a dozen or so Fusion cultivators.

“That's right! Even with an additional late-Fusion cultivator, unifying Canghai would still be quite difficult. It’s better to proceed gradually,” Tong Yan agreed. The five clans had been locked in a standoff for many years, their strengths largely similar. Even with one more late-Fusion cultivator, it wouldn't necessarily be enough to unify Canghai.

“It seems the two of you have forgotten,” Feng Xuan said solemnly, “the human and Spiritflame clans are unaware of my existence. During the battle, we can catch them off guard. As long as we eliminate one late-Fusion cultivator, the rest will be easy. Even if we don't succeed, our losses won't be significant.” Feng Xuan stated deeply. He originated from the Wind Falcon Clan; if not for Wang Mengbin, he would not have ended up in this place.

Halangtai and Tong Yan pondered for a moment, realizing this was indeed the case, and agreed.

“Oh, by the way,” Feng Xuan said curiously, “I heard that a Fusion cultivator named True Monarch Zixiao has appeared among the human race. Like me, he's from the Azure Glaze Sea Region.”

“True Monarch Zixiao’s lightning magic is incredibly powerful, and his escape speed surpasses even our Mystic Crane Clan’s,” Feng Qing said with a grim face. “During the last war, he killed two of our Fusion cultivators.”

“His wife is also formidable,” Halangtai added, his face filled with murderous intent. “She's skilled in array formations, and my grand-nephew died by her hand.”

“This time, we'll deal with them all at once and exact our revenge. However, I cannot show my face just yet. I ask the three of you to lead the charge, and I will seize an opportunity to strike during the decisive battle,” Feng Xuan said sincerely.

“No problem,” Feng Qing replied, her face filled with longing as she spoke. “I hope we can eliminate Daoist Canghai and Jin Yuyan and unify Canghai.”

Canghai was rife with constant conflict, with various clans vying for supremacy. Originally, over a dozen clans contended, but now the five most powerful clans were dominant. It remained to be seen who would unify Canghai and integrate its cultivation resources.

The human, Spiritflame, Mystic Crane, Barbarian, and Chi clans all mobilized their forces, dispatching troops to the front lines to participate in the conflict, once again sounding the horn of racial war.

On Xuanling Continent, Heavenly Zither Island was originally named Fire Pig Island. After the Wang family conquered Fire Pig Island, they renamed it Heavenly Zither Island and established a market city there, stationing many experts to guard it. The Tianhai Market City also relocated to Heavenly Zither Island, with the Wang family and Zhenhai Palace jointly managing Heavenly Zither Market City.

The human race had migrated a large number of cultivators overseas to develop the newly occupied islands. Heavenly Zither Market City was the only human market city within a radius of billions of miles.

The streets were bustling with crowds and the clamor of carriages, exceedingly lively.

Within a hundred-mu estate, Liu Hongxue and Wang Huayue sat in an azure stone pavilion, sipping tea and chatting leisurely.

Wang Yidao, Liu Hongxue, Wang Yingjie, Wang Huayue, Zhao Yunxiao, Qin Tianxue, and Li Yaoyao—seven Fusion cultivators—were stationed on Heavenly Zither Island, ensuring its absolute security.

After Wang Changsheng's Mahayana celebration, Wang Yingjie entered secluded cultivation. Liu Hongxue and Wang Huayue had grown accustomed to this.

Liu Hongxue held an exquisite azure jade box in her hand. Not far away, a colossal white crab lay, enveloped by a crimson light barrier.

The white crab simultaneously activated its Dharma Idol to attack the crimson light barrier and emitted white frigid air, striking the barrier. The surface of the crimson light barrier quickly froze.

After a while, the white crab's Dharma Idol dissipated, and it ceased emitting frigid air. It merely brandished its giant pincers, attacking the crimson light barrier, producing a dull 'thump-thump' sound.

“It truly is Immortal Transformation Paste!” Liu Hongxue said with a smile. “If used correctly, Fusion cultivators are simply fish on a chopping board.”

In the cultivation world, there are ten extremely potent wondrous poisons. Some of them can even poison Mahayana cultivators, though this requires excessive ingestion; mild poisoning poses no fatal threat.

Immortal Transformation Paste is one of the Ten Wondrous Poisons. It is concocted from the venom sac of a seventh-tier Blood Elephant Beast combined with dozens of ten-thousand-year-old poisonous herbs. Cultivators below the Mahayana realm who are afflicted by this poison will gradually lose their magical power, and Fusion cultivators are no exception.

No matter how powerful your divine abilities or how numerous your treasures, without magical power, you are merely fish on a chopping board, ready to be slaughtered.

The Wang family had acquired the formula for Immortal Transformation Paste, and Liu Hongxue had finally succeeded in refining it. With Immortal Transformation Paste, future racial wars would see the Wang family remove enemy strongholds much more easily.

“If only we could get the formula for Soul-Shattering Powder,” Wang Huayue said excitedly. “I heard that even Mahayana cultivators have trouble if they're poisoned by Soul-Shattering Powder, and if the poisoning is too deep, their souls will dissipate.”

“It’s already great that we managed to get the formula for Immortal Transformation Paste,” Liu Hongxue said with a smile. “Each of the Ten Wondrous Poisons has incredible effects. They shouldn't be underestimated, but to be truly effective, one must ingest a significant amount; inhaling a small quantity has little impact. I heard Soul-Shattering Powder is refined using the venom sac of a certain eighth-tier demon beast as the main ingredient, but it hasn’t appeared for many years. Other wondrous poisons do appear occasionally, though.”

“It's fine if we don't find it; it's just better if we do,” Wang Huayue said nonchalantly. “With Immortal Transformation Paste, our family now has another potent weapon against Fusion cultivators.”

Foundation must be accumulated bit by bit; one cannot grow plump from a single mouthful.

“Go back and cultivate! Cultivation is fundamental,” Liu Hongxue instructed. “I also plan to enter secluded cultivation, as there are no major battles currently.”

As the number of Fusion cultivators in the Wang family steadily increased, Wang Mousen took on greater responsibilities, significantly lightening Liu Hongxue’s burden.

Wang Huayue acknowledged, put away the white crab, and departed.
