Chapter 2895: Unsealing the Dragon Clan

“Junior Lu Ye greets Third Ancestor!” Lu Ye bowed respectfully.

Indeed, when considering the entire Dragon Clan, this individual before him was likely the most senior, second only to Yang Qing. Moreover, he should have been the first dragon to seal himself within the Ancestral Abyss Restriction. Had it not been for the Dragons' inherent longevity, he would never have survived to this day.

Yang Lie nodded slightly. “I can sense the purity of the dragon vein within you. It seems you encountered some serendipity within our clan?”

Lu Ye replied, “A few years ago, I obtained a drop of ancestral true blood in the Dragon Pool, and only then did I achieve a dragon vein body.”

“So that’s it…” Yang Lie looked relieved. As he spoke, his divine sense swept across the entire Ancestral Abyss Restriction, and he was slightly startled. “There are already so many clansmen here? It seems I’ve slept for too long.”

When he first entered, he was alone. He knew nothing of what transpired afterward. However, judging by the number of clansmen gathered here, the duration of his slumber was likely immeasurable.

Turning to Lu Ye, Yang Lie asked, “What is the situation like outside now?”

The moment he first saw Lu Ye, he knew that this person was the one their clan had been waiting for, as foretold in the ancestral teachings. Now, after countless ages, the awaited one had appeared, and had even helped him purge some of the corrosive power and regain his consciousness. This indicated a major upheaval must have occurred in the outside world.

“I was just about to explain to Senior,” Lu Ye began. “A few years ago, the Star Abyss changed, and the Inner Realm and Outer Realm began to merge…”

As Lu Ye slowly elaborated, he briefly described the various changes that had occurred in the Star Abyss in recent years. He also mentioned that the Source Realm was about to return and merge, Half-Saint powerful figures were arriving in the Star Abyss, and the Abyss's consciousness was on the verge of fully awakening.

Yang Lie listened, his brows furrowed and his expression solemn. “The Three Realms unite, the Nine Evils emerge, karma burns the heart, and all laws return to ruin… The ancestor’s prophecy is about to come true.”

Lu Ye's heart stirred upon hearing this. “The Three Realms unite” undoubtedly referred to the merging of the Outer Realm, Inner Realm, and Source Realm. The entire Star Abyss was originally a single entity, merely divided into three layers by that being’s methods. Lu Ye himself had contributed to part of this. However, no matter how astonishing the means, there would always be a moment when they failed. As for the “Nine Evils”… that must refer to the nine True Saints. And “karma burns the heart, and all laws return to ruin” was undoubtedly the scene after the Abyss completely controlled the entire universe.

“I generally understand the situation now,” Yang Lie mused slightly. “So you came here to help our clansmen unseal themselves, allowing us to advance to Half-Saint, so we can confront the coming catastrophe.”

“Precisely!” Lu Ye nodded.

“No wonder I felt my own restraints loosening. It turns out the time to face the tribulation has arrived.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Ye said, “Then, Third Ancestor, do you wish to break through immediately?”

Yang Lie shook his head. “Within the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, I cannot break through. I must leave this place first.”

Only then did Lu Ye recall that the Ancestral Abyss Restriction had a tremendous suppressive effect on dragon veins. Although Yang Lie had regained his consciousness, moving within this place was extremely difficult for him. How could he possibly break through? Unless Lu Ye continuously protected him with the power of the Talent Tree. But Lu Ye still needed to rescue other dragons, and he didn't have that extra capacity. Alternatively, he could open a gap in the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, as he had done before, to allow Yang Lie to leave first. However, that would certainly cause the suppressed mad dragons to riot again, and he would have to reseal the gap. That would be far too troublesome.

“No hurry!” As if sensing Lu Ye’s thoughts, Yang Lie said, “After waiting for so many years, there’s no rush now. I’ll help you rescue the other clansmen first.”

Lu Ye was about to agree, when his heart suddenly stirred, remembering something. “Third Ancestor, I might have a place where you can cultivate.”

“What do you mean?” Yang Lie was puzzled.

Lu Ye pondered for a moment, then said, “Third Ancestor, please do not resist at all. I’m not sure if this method will work, but let’s try!”

With that said, he reached out and grabbed towards Yang Lie.

Yang Lie remained motionless, offering no resistance, which was undoubtedly an act of absolute trust in Lu Ye. With that grab, space rippled, and Yang Lie vanished in an instant.

Lu Ye’s brows immediately rose, and a look of delight appeared on his face. It truly worked! He had only tried it on a whim, never expecting it to actually succeed.

At this moment, in a world with no trace of living beings, only flowers and plants, Yang Lie suddenly appeared. He stood amidst a vibrant, multicolored sea of flowers, looking around, but Lu Ye was nowhere to be seen. He couldn't help but feel puzzled and softly called out, “Lu Ye, my boy?”

The next moment, an illusory figure appeared before him. It was Lu Ye, but Yang Lie could tell at a glance that it was not Lu Ye’s true body, but a divine sense projection.

“Where is this?” Yang Lie asked. He had clearly been in the prison of the Ancestral Abyss Restriction just a moment ago; how had he arrived here in the blink of an eye? Even he hadn’t noticed any clues.

“Third Ancestor, this is my Inner World,” Lu Ye explained.

“What is an Inner World?” Yang Lie was perplexed. Even with his extensive knowledge, he had never heard of such a thing.

Lu Ye said, “The ancestor passed down a wondrous art within the Ancestral Abyss Restriction. Last time I was here, I incidentally gained something from it. With this secret art, I cultivated the Inner World secret method, opening a world within my own body. This is the Inner World.”

The Inner World's original form was the Small Flower Realm, and the Small Flower Realm itself could contain living beings. Lu Ye had done this in Kyushu years ago, but due to his limited cultivation, there were restrictions on the number and cultivation level of the living beings it could hold. After cultivating the Small World secret method, this characteristic was undoubtedly greatly amplified. The higher the cultivation level of the Small World secret method, the more the Inner World resembled a complete world. Given this, it was not surprising that Yang Lie could be brought inside.

Yang Lie listened in astonishment. “A secret method passed down by the ancestor!” Upon careful perception, his expression grew even more surprised. “Dao Marks!”

He hadn't noticed much earlier, but now he clearly sensed that this so-called Inner World contained an astonishing number of Dao Marks. It was known that Dao Marks were the fundamental essence of a cultivator’s strength. Every Harmonization cultivator with their own Dao Body would choose to continually progress by inscribing Dao Marks. The more Dao Marks a Dao Body possessed, the stronger its power. The fact that this Inner World also contained Dao Marks, didn't that mean it was the very foundation of Lu Ye's strength?

He vaguely recalled the feeling when Lu Ye casually struck him just now, and he immediately understood. Lu Ye’s strength likely surpassed his imagination.

“Third Ancestor, can you cultivate here?” Lu Ye asked. If his Inner World allowed it, Yang Lie could immediately advance and break through.

Yang Lie composed himself and sensed for a moment or two. “It can, yes, but there’s no Dao power within this Inner World…”

“That’s simple.” As Lu Ye spoke, he took out a large quantity of Dao Fish. Thanks to the Blood Abyss’s contribution, this Blood Clan Half-Saint had brought all of his possessions with him when he came from the Source Realm. In the Source Realm, the Blood Clan inherently possessed the most abundant resources. Accumulated over countless ages, the Blood Abyss’s legacy was simply comparable to a nation’s wealth. Now, it was all in Lu Ye’s hands, and taking out some to help Yang Lie break through was merely a drop in the ocean.

“That will be enough!” Yang Lie’s spirits lifted. After countless ages of slumber, this day had finally arrived. With his profound foundation, advancing to Half-Saint in the current grand environment would be effortless.

“Then, Third Ancestor, please cultivate here in peace. Once I have rescued the other clansmen, I will bring you all out.” After saying this, Lu Ye withdrew his divine sense.

Within the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, Lu Ye soon arrived before the second dragon. This dragon’s situation was identical to Yang Lie’s earlier: though maintaining its massive dragon body, it remained completely still, like a statue, evidently in a suppressed state.

Instead of immediately helping it unseal itself, Lu Ye first took out a jade slip. His divine sense surged as he inscribed a piece of information into it, only then beginning to act. Many dragons were sealed here, completely unaware of the outside world. Lu Ye didn’t want to give a lengthy explanation to each one he rescued. It was simpler to engrave all the necessary information and intelligence into a jade slip. That way, he just needed to hand them the jade slip and let them examine it themselves.

With the power of the Talent Tree activated, a few days later, the second dragon’s consciousness awoke. Similar to Yang Lie, after years of slumber, this dragon’s reaction was somewhat sluggish upon awakening. However, after receiving the jade slip from Lu Ye and understanding the situation, it immediately knew what to do. And so, another dragon was added to Lu Ye’s Inner World.

In the following days, Lu Ye traveled throughout the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, unsealing one dragon after another and taking them into his Inner World. He wasn't entirely without interaction with the dragons; some dragons, being more lively by nature, would exchange a few more words with Lu Ye.

It was only then that Lu Ye learned that not all the dragons who sealed themselves here were Dragon Venerables. In fact, only a small portion were Dragon Venerables; most were elders from various generations of the Dragon Clan. Though these elders did not bear the title of Dragon Venerable, their power was profound enough to shake creation, granting them the right to seal themselves here.

The number of dragons in the Inner World gradually increased, yet it remained a place of profound tranquility. To every dragon brought into the Inner World, Lu Ye would provide a portion of Dao Fish for their cultivation and breakthrough.

Thus, several months passed in a flash, until one moment, Lu Ye unsealed the last dragon in the cage and sent it into his Inner World. Only then was this task complete.

Standing within the Ancestral Abyss Restriction, Lu Ye’s divine sense swept across the area. The cage, once filled with traces of dragons, was now utterly empty. The profound method left by the Dragon and Phoenix Ancestors had, by this day, finally declared the end of its mission.

However, Lu Ye had no intention of destroying it. After all, it was left by that being; to truly destroy it would require considerable effort. Leaving it here, it might still have a use in the future.

Just as when he entered, Lu Ye opened a gap in a certain part of the Ancestral Abyss Restriction and calmly exited. At this point, his second objective for entering the Tower of Time was perfectly achieved.

His own cultivation had temporarily reached a bottleneck. All the past generations of powerful dragons were now within his Inner World. It was time to leave.

Lu Ye took out the ancestral dragon scale he had brought in earlier, and gently said, “Tower Spirit, I wish to leave!”
