Chapter 330: I'll Curse You to Death

As the dust settled, Chen Jun Nan poked his head out to look. The old thief, Di She, had actually lifted the iron ball up again.

"Impressive, old thief."

Chen Jun Nan gritted his teeth through his injuries and leaped forward, dodging several spikes as he landed on top of the iron ball.

Di She felt his arms straining even more.

"You... what did you do?" He couldn't understand why the iron ball was dropping again.

"Don't worry, old thief. Just hold it up for now—we're getting ready to take you out."

"Take me out...?" Di She clenched his teeth tightly. "Don't you get it? Kid, this thing can't kill me!"

"Oh, really?" Chen Jun Nan stood up and bounced a little on the massive iron ball. "I remember your game doesn't have a time limit, right? So, I'll just keep jumping here like it's a trampoline and see how long your old arms and legs can hold out."

"You bastard..." Di She glanced at the situation. "You probably don't know... I've got a trump card. Even if you keep jumping, there's no way I'll die!"

"A trump card, huh? Go on, show it." Chen Jun Nan stomped down on the iron ball again. "Let me see what other hidden skills you've got."

Di She was starting to feel a burning ache in his arms.

Holding up this massive iron ball for a short while wasn't a problem for someone at the Di Ji level, but keeping it up forever would inevitably lead to exhaustion and death.

Di She waited quietly for a moment, sensing something was off. To ensure he could accurately kill the participants, he always maintained the equipment, so why wasn't the iron ball rising after all this time?

With his limited view, he had no idea that the chain holding the iron ball had already snapped.

"Damn it... what kind of trick are you pulling?" Di She thought for a bit before finally looking toward the display screen in the center of the area.

Chen Jun Nan let out an angry laugh. "We bribed Xuan Wu, and now we're teaming up to finish you off!"

"What...? I won't die... This iron ball can never kill me..."

"Why can't I kill you?!" Chen Jun Nan shouted. "You old pervert, you're about to drop dead from holding up that iron ball!"

"Impossible!"

"How the hell is it impossible?! You're clearly about to collapse from exhaustion!" Chen Jun Nan didn't give Di She a chance to think, yelling wildly from atop the iron ball. "Are you gonna die? Tell me, you son of a bitch, are you gonna die?"

"I absolutely won't die!" Di She screamed, losing all reason. "This iron ball can never smash me! I'll survive! Once the game ends, it's your turn!"

"Bullshit!" Chen Jun Nan roared. "How are you gonna survive holding up that iron ball like this?"

"You think I'd just stupidly keep holding it up?!"

"Not holding it up?! What, are you gonna lift dumbbells instead?! If you've got the guts, stay right there, and I'll stand here and curse you to death!" Chen Jun Nan yelled. "Let's see if your arms hold out longer than my mouth does!"

"Delusional!"

Di She extended one foot and kicked hard at the iron pipe below the display screen, snapping it clean off.

"You think I don't know what you're up to?!" Di She laughed angrily. "You want me to panic... you want me to mess up the questions! How naive."

Chen Jun Nan furrowed his brow and glanced sideways at the broken iron pipe below. This didn't look good.

That old pervert was crafty indeed. By kicking the pipe in the middle, it had broken, but the wires were still connected to the screen, so it hadn't gone dark.

"So, you've got that move up your sleeve?"

In the moment his hands were free, Di She quickly grabbed the screen and huddled down, crouching in the space under the iron ball.

Clang—!

A massive crash echoed as the iron ball hit the ground.

Now, Di She was tucked away inside the iron ball with barely a scratch, like a turtle hiding in its steel shell.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Di She's muffled, distant voice came from inside the iron ball. "Come on, kill me! Do it!"

Chen Jun Nan let out a long sigh of relief, his expression gradually calming as a sly smile spread across his face. "About time you fell for it, you bastard."

He turned around, grabbed the iron chain overhead, and with all his remaining strength, climbed up the wall. Taking a deep breath, he shouted, "Everyone, the game's back on! Pick whatever for the next questions!"

After yelling that, Chen Jun Nan exhausted himself and fell from the wall, landing straight in the room next to Di She.

The impact was like a fish hitting a cutting board—blood splattered everywhere.

Chen Jun Nan groaned on the ground for a few moments, then painfully forced himself up, his fresh blood staining the entire room.

"Too bad I can't lie down yet... There are still questions left to answer."

Yun Yao, Xu Qian, and Yan Zhi Chun all heard the huge crash and knew Chen Jun Nan's strategy had succeeded, but what should they do next?

Yan Zhi Chun was the first to figure out Chen Jun Nan's plan, though it was a bold one. She wasn't entirely sure if her guess was right.

This time, Xu Qian was handling the first question, and everyone made their choices.

Zhong Zhen had completely lost his hearing and could only press "no" every thirty seconds, while Di She, as he'd said, was answering from inside the iron ball. Everything seemed stuck in a deadlock.

But Chen Jun Nan sat weakly on the ground, a victorious smile on his face.

The first question ended, and though the chain moved, there was no iron ball attached anymore.

Then came the second question, the third... all the way to the sixth.

On Di She's screen, a line of text appeared:

"Please pass the question to the next person via phone after reading it. This question is: Who can kill me?"

This short question made Di She tremble all over.

Yes, he'd overlooked a crucial detail.

What now?

"Di She, you old thief..." Chen Jun Nan's lips were turning pale, but he still sat there laughing. "Hurry up and call Xu Qian!"

Di She swallowed hard, then pushed with all his might against the iron ball overhead.

This was bad... the situation was really bad.

It would count as a foul!

But how could he budge an iron ball that was fully on the ground? Trapped in that tight space, he couldn't even stand up straight, so how could he lift it?

Ten seconds passed, and Di She was sweating profusely, his earth-yellow eyes twitching in the darkness.

"No... this isn't right..."

A strong gust of wind blew through, as if someone was standing in the doorway.

Di She used every ounce of strength to stand, bracing the iron ball with his back, and exploded with force from his legs. With a series of cracking bones, he barely managed to budge it a little.

"Di She, please pass the question."

"Wait... just a second!" Di She yelled. "I'll call... I'll call right away..."

"Di She, pass the question immediately." Xuan Wu's cold voice came through the wooden door, making Di She's back instantly drenched in sweat.

"Damn it... damn it!" Di She gritted his teeth and shouted. "You're just a naked woman... what gives you the right to rush me?!"
