Chapter 1548: Angle Chi Tribe and Sea King Tribe

The silver surface of the mirror first flashed, and then its radiant patterns were entirely absorbed into the mirror.

The mirror, originally shimmering silver, instantly turned incredibly red.

Next, the silver light curtain that had been emitted scattered and vanished without a trace, only to be replaced by a five-colored glow.

An incredible scene appeared.

As the five-colored light instantly reformed into a curtain, plumes of milky-white spiritual mist began to emerge from its surface.

After a tumultuous churning, these mists astonishingly transformed into an exceptionally clear image.

Everything in this image was formed by the mist. Except for being several times smaller in size, everything else was lifelike and extremely real.

As Han Li gazed at the image in the mist, his pupils suddenly contracted.

The scenery in the image was exceptionally familiar; it was unmistakably near a small mountain on the edge of the Black Underworld Mist Sea. On the hilltop, two alien figures, dressed differently, stood side by side.

At first glance, the two alien figures somewhat resembled humans. One was a tall, handsome youth, appearing to be in his early thirties, with a single shimmering silver horn on his head. The other had long, crimson hair reaching his waist, 'dead fish eyes', and faint fish-like scales on his cheeks, dressed in green animal hide.

These two were currently facing the Black Underworld Mist Sea and were conversing in low voices.

However, the image formed by the white mist could not transmit sound, so not a single word could be heard.

As Han Li looked at these two alien figures, who were clearly not of the Spiritflight race, his heart sank slightly.

If they were Spiritflight individuals, presenting himself as the Holy Son of the Sky Roc race would likely cause no trouble. But since they were formidable beings from other alien races, nothing could be said for certain.

Most of these old monsters were temperamental, and if he were to be inexplicably harmed by them, wouldn't he die in vain? But should he leave immediately? Han Li pondered with hesitation, wondering if temporarily hiding might, instead of avoiding them, provoke them further if discovered.

Just then, an unexpected turn of events occurred. The white-robed, single-horned youth who was conversing suddenly turned his head and, in the image, meaningfully met Han Li's gaze, immediately causing blinding silver light to erupt from his eyes.

Han Li felt a sharp pain in his eyes and hastily stumbled back two steps. In great alarm, he rubbed his eyes.

At the same time, the exceptionally clear image blurred, and after a humming sound, it exploded in a frenzy of silver light.

With a 'bang', it turned into swirls of white mist, which then dispersed and vanished.

Han Li stood stunned in place, his eyes filled with shock.

Everything he had just witnessed was a miraculous effect of the Exquisite Pearl, which he had forcefully activated at the cost of some of his vital energy.

By leveraging several pearls buried nearby, it could temporarily transmit the surrounding scene back, doing so with extreme stealth.

But he never expected that the single-horned alien youth's divine sense would be so powerful; after only a few glances, he was immediately detected by the other party, who then used magic to break his restriction.

These two were definitely Integration-stage cultivators, perhaps even high-tier cultivators from the mid-Integration stage onward.

Now that the other party knew he had been observing them, should he leave immediately? Han Li remained hesitant.

It wasn't that he was holding onto any illusions of luck, but rather that he feared his rash actions might invite disaster upon himself.

Just as Han Li was filled with trepidation, several thousand miles away, at a location identical to the scene in the image, the single-horned alien youth's eyes were slowly dimming from their blue glow.

"Brother Run, have you discovered anything?" the alien with 'dead fish eyes' asked.

"Nothing much," the single-horned youth said with a faint smile. "Someone was secretly observing us with a restriction, but I've already broken it. These restrictions are quite interesting." With a single hand, he made a grasping motion in the air towards a nearby direction.

With a 'whoosh', a white pearl deeply buried beneath the surface of the mountain was drawn up and landed directly in the single-horned youth's hand.

This handsome alien held the pearl in his palm. He brought it close to his eyes for a careful look, then let out sounds of wonder and admiration:

"I never expected there would be such a sophisticated monitoring artifact here. Although its rank is extremely low, it's very practical. Even among our two races, there are very few similar artifacts with such ingenuity."

"Brother Run evaluates this item so highly! There must be more than just one of these things buried here." The fish-eyed alien was startled. His divine sense swept the vicinity, and with a flash of shimmering blue light, he suddenly vanished from the spot.

The next moment, he appeared at a distant location. He similarly made a gentle grasping motion towards the ground.

Another 'Myriad Exquisite Pearl' shot out, landing in his hand.

The fish-eyed alien's figure flickered again, vanishing once more, silently returning to the original spot.

"While somewhat unique, such things are nothing to our two races. It's not as if our clans don't possess better monitoring artifacts than this," the fish-eyed alien sneered after examining it. With a flash of blue light in his hand, the Myriad Exquisite Pearl instantly froze solid.

Then, with a 'bang', the pearl shattered into a pile of ice shards and vanished.

"Brother Jian, you are mistaken!" the single-horned alien youth calmly stated. "Although our clans do have similar items, and this one also has various flaws, it's enough to show that the Spiritflight people's artifact-refining skills seem much more advanced than rumored. It appears our clan's previous assumptions about the Spiritflight race were somewhat off!"

"Oh, if that's the case, Brother Run, why don't we go back and capture this person to interrogate them thoroughly?" The fish-eyed alien's eyes swiveled, and a sinister smile suddenly appeared on his lips.

"Forget it. This time, we're here to negotiate with the Spiritflight race, not to issue a challenge. As for the Spiritflight people's artifact-refining skills, once we enter their territory, we'll see it clearly at a glance. Why bother doing something extra? This person's cultivation isn't weak, and if they happen to be related to those old monsters of the Spiritflight race, it might spoil our important mission. Besides, don't we have an unexpected gain right now?" The single-horned youth said, his eyes gleaming strangely as he stared at the distant black mist, a hint of greed in his gaze.

"Heh heh, Brother Run is right. These Spiritflight people are truly squandering heavenly treasures! Such rare True Spirit Yin Qi, just left here unattended. It's truly a bargain for you and me." Hearing his companion's words, the fish-eyed alien also showed excitement in his eyes.

"It's hard to say about ordinary Spiritflight people, but those few old monsters among them couldn't possibly be unaware of this mist's use. It's better if we're careful! To be honest, if we didn't truly need this item right now, I really wouldn't want to create extra trouble within the Spiritflight territory." The single-horned youth's strange look faded, replaced by a hint of hesitation.

"Haha, Brother Run, are you afraid the Spiritflight people would dare to attack us two? We've come here representing our two races. Unless those old monsters of the Spiritflight race have gone mad and want their entire race to be wiped out in the Spirit Realm, they wouldn't dare do anything to us, even if they knew we took this Yin Qi." The fish-eyed alien, however, laughed carelessly.

"Perhaps. However, it's hard to say whether our cross-ocean journey this time is lucky or unlucky. The area where the Profound Sky Spirit-Slaying Sword was originally detected, even after performing a blood sacrifice, failed to summon this Profound Sky treasure. If it weren't for our clan's Grand Priest making another prediction, we wouldn't have known that this treasure was actually brought to the Spiritflight people's dwelling place."

"That's a bit strange. Could it be that the Profound Sky Spirit-Slaying Sword fell into the hands of the Spiritflight people ahead of time?" The single-horned youth sighed.

"It should be so. Or perhaps those minor clans deliberately sent someone to take this Profound Sky treasure away from its birthplace and bring it to the Spiritflight people. But what difference does that make to us?" the fish-eyed alien said with a sneer.

"Indeed, it makes no difference. Our two races expended astonishing spirit stones this time to jointly teleport ourselves across the ocean to this continent. We absolutely cannot let the Profound Sky Spirit-Slaying Sword fall into the hands of other major clans. If it were an ordinary Profound Sky treasure, that would be one thing, but the Profound Sky Spirit-Slaying Sword, once it appears, ranks third. A Profound Sky treasure of such power must never fall into the hands of those few clans. Any race on the Tianyuan Continent that dares to refuse to hand over this sword will be annihilated by our two races' joint efforts. While the Spiritflight race does have some strength on the Tianyuan Continent, they are utterly vulnerable against our two races. It's just a bit troublesome to send people across the ocean. Otherwise, why would we be so polite to them!" The single-horned youth said, a cold glint flashing in his eyes, hinting at killing intent.

"Indeed, although your Horned-Yellow race and our Sea King race could easily wipe out a race like the Spiritflight race by using just one-tenth of our strength, long-distance military campaigns could very well give those few clans an opportunity. The Spiritflight race had better obey!" The fish-eyed alien gave a sinister smile.

"Alright! Since neither of us wants to give up this True Spirit Yin Qi, let's act quickly. Then, we'll hurry on our way to pay a visit to those old monsters of the Spiritflight race." The single-horned youth let out a long breath, finally speaking with determination.

"Haha, Brother Run is right!" The fish-eyed alien burst into a maniacal laugh, rubbing his hands together. Suddenly, his body began to radiate layers of blue ripples, which in an instant expanded to cover several hundred acres, almost occupying half the sky.

Immediately, with a flash of spiritual light, these blue ripples instantly transformed into blue waves.

Then, the fish-eyed alien opened his mouth and spat out a crystal-clear, several-inch-tall gourd. He held it up with one hand and gently swayed it amidst the waves.

A continuous rumble echoed, and the surrounding water waves instantly began to spin wildly around the gourd. The waves grew higher and higher, eventually rising dozens of yards high, completely enveloping the fish-eyed alien.

Seeing this, the single-horned youth beside him smiled faintly. He suddenly slapped the top of his own head with one hand.

A loud whistling sound erupted!

A surging, azure-green hurricane actually roared out from the youth's head, its volume rapidly expanding. After a few flashes, it transformed into a massive entity several yards in diameter, soaring directly into the heavens.

A long howl, piercing through the nine heavens, emanated from the hurricane. The gale abruptly ceased, disintegrating like paper. A hundred-yard-tall, shimmering azure-green horned monster appeared in mid-air.

This monster had a long silver horn on its head, a wide mouth with tusks. It was clad in azure-colored bronze armor, with slender upper limbs and short, thick lower limbs. It held a black strange blade in one hand and a green jade bottle in the other.
