The plot of "Legend of Tianhai Star" has gone completely off the rails, causing its comment sections to explode with activity. Viewers are now utterly bewildered, unable to predict the next turn in the series.
All the detailed plot analyses and predictions made by various online 'experts' before the show premiered have been rendered completely obsolete.
"What's happening? Does this new character know they're in a TV show?"
"Experts, please analyze this! Has this unbelievable new character truly never appeared before?"
"Let's see who still dares to call the climax of 'Legend of Tianhai Star' boring, or say its next developments are predictable – always assuming it's either Zanpakuto upgrading to defeat the Beast King or Shi Lingyun breaking through to do it!"
Viewers excitedly typed out their thoughts, overwhelmed by the sheer thrill of today's plot. It was incredibly exciting!
The director and crew felt as though a bucket of ice water had been dumped over them, chilling them to the bone.
"How did he find the cameras!?"
Nanoscale cameras are absolutely imperceptible to the human eye.
The director, serving as the group's anchor, was the first to regain composure. "He must have been carrying some kind of scanner," he theorized, "which detected the cameras."
"Don't panic, everyone. He can only communicate with us one-sidedly through the cameras; he has no idea where we are!"
"Ma Jie doesn't even know Tianhai Star's location within the Interstellar Alliance, so even if they capture him, it's useless!"
The crew members, realizing the truth in his words, began to calm down one by one.
"Mr. President," Lu Yang began, "do you have anything you'd like to say? For instance, who exactly is behind you, and where are they located?" He then drained his cup of tea, set it down, and briefly savored the flavor, noting it was unremarkable, as was its toxicity.
The faces of the seven-member salvation team changed drastically. As top ten masters, their combat prowess was peak, and their intelligence far exceeded that of ordinary people. Although Lu Yang hadn't explicitly stated the situation, his few words were enough for them to grasp his meaning.
The President's ashen face further confirmed their suspicions!
They were now simply at a loss, wondering if everything truly was just a TV series, then what was real and what was fake?
Were only the seven of them being kept in the dark, or was the entire Tianhai Star itself oblivious?!
What did everything they had experienced even amount to? Was it all just entertainment for someone else's amusement?
"President Ma Jie, answer Mr. Lu's question!"
President Ma, who had remained silent with an ashen face, finally broke into a smile. "Mr. Lu," he said, "you truly are an unexpected variable."
He pointed to his mouth, his expression grim. "I have a nuclear bomb detonator and locator embedded in my teeth," he snarled. "I advise you to let me go. Otherwise, if I bite down on this button, a nuclear bomb will launch straight to this location, and we'll all be annihilated!"
With the TV show's existence exposed, he absolutely could not fall into their hands. Even if Lu Yang didn't seek retribution, the salvation team and all the people of Tianhai Star would surely drown him in their collective fury.
President Ma, being the leader of the previous generation's Ten Great Masters, wasn't merely a plot device; he genuinely possessed immense strength. Even Zanpakuto and Shi Lingyun, who had fully absorbed the strengthening agent, couldn't defeat him together.
However, he also knew that even at his strongest, he was no match for Lu Yang, who could dispatch all the mutated beasts with a single move. His only option now was to escape!
He carried the most advanced anti-tracking device and signal simulator, ensuring Lu Yang couldn't find him even with a scanner!
The salvation team and the others were caught in a profound dilemma. If the nuclear bomb detonated here, the entire city would perish, yet letting President Ma escape felt utterly unacceptable!
As everyone struggled with their decision, President Ma let two smoke bombs fall from his sleeve, obscuring everyone's vision. His laughter echoed through the smoke, then abruptly ceased.
When the smoke cleared, everyone saw Lu Yang with his foot on President Ma, whose shattered teeth lay scattered on the ground.
Lu Yang raised an eyebrow. "If you managed to escape," he quipped, "where would I put my face?"
"How is this possible!"
President Ma was aghast. He had released smoke bombs and simultaneously generated multiple decoy signals. How could Lu Yang possibly have found him?
Was the opponent's technological level truly that much higher?
"I can tell you who's behind me," President Ma gasped. "I am a citizen of the Interstellar Alliance, backed by the Alliance Television Network. I strongly advise you to release me, or when the Interstellar Fleet arrives, you'll be the one who dies!"
"The Interstellar Alliance?" Lu Yang mused, hearing an intriguing term. It sounded like a cosmic superpower, likely far more technologically advanced than Tianhai Star.
This was a perfect opportunity to bring the Interstellar Alliance's technology to the cultivation world, benefiting countless common people.
However, President Ma Jie's lack of cooperation in the interrogation was problematic. Directly searching his soul would render him an idiot, which felt too lenient; the people of Tianhai Star would lose a target for their vengeance.
Without a soul search, he wouldn't know the Interstellar Alliance's location.
Suddenly, Lu Yang noticed the nanoscale cameras still filming. He could sense them constantly transmitting some kind of signal – perhaps electromagnetic waves or some unfamiliar new term – but that wasn't important. What mattered was that the other end of the cameras must be connected to the Interstellar Alliance.
He thoughtfully picked up one of the camera units, causing frantic panic among the crew on the other end.
Soon, reason overcame their fear. There was no need to panic; Lu Yang could only transmit messages one-way and had no means of locating them.
"Trace."
Lu Yang uttered words no one could comprehend. The nascent form of the Tracing Dao Fruit locked onto the nanoscale camera, and a line, stretching to the far reaches of the starry sky, appeared before him. Only Lu Yang could see it; even Immortal Fairy couldn't.
"As expected, I can find the source of the cameras."
Lu Yang kicked President Ma towards the salvation team. "He's all yours," he stated. "I'm off to this 'Interstellar Alliance' place."
"Mr. Lu..."
Without even pausing for farewells, Lu Yang excitedly summoned his black-awning boat. He then leaped through space on it, following the line extending from the cameras, and set off for the Interstellar Alliance.
There was nothing left on Tianhai Star that could threaten the salvation team, so its immediate issues were of no concern. The Interstellar Alliance's situation, however, was unknown, and it would be disastrous if he delayed and allowed the crew to escape.
"What do we do? What do we do? Is he coming here?" The crew descended into utter chaos, completely unable to grasp Lu Yang's abilities.
How far had his opponent's technology advanced? He seemed like a god!
The director once again took charge. "Don't panic," he asserted. "You all know how far Tianhai Star is from the Alliance, and there are countless asteroid belts in between. He won't be able to fly here that quickly!"
"Let's quickly call the authorities or have the higher-ups deploy the military!"
Being apprehended by the Alliance government was far preferable to falling into the hands of this enigmatic alien. The director, with his connections, would surely avoid a death sentence from the Alliance, but capture by this alien was an entirely unknown fate.
"Yes, exactly! An alien attacking us is like a terrorist attack—no, it's an outright invasion! We need the government to protect us, now!"
Just as everyone was preparing to contact the outside world for help, a deafening boom echoed from above. The roof was ripped open, and the "Legend of Tianhai Star" promotional billboard, which had stood on the building, was flung down before them. A small, light boat, bathed in moonlight, floated down.
An alien figure in ancient attire, hands in his pockets, piloted the black-awning boat as it descended upon the Interstellar Alliance.
