December 13th. Heavy rain.
We finally defeated the high-ranking warrior of the Candlestick Sky Civilization, but the cost was dire. All the Zombie Kings perished. Before their demise, they transferred all their abilities to me, which enabled me to deliver the fatal blow to the warrior.
What a formidable opponent. He single-handedly destroyed all the spacecraft we controlled.
We now finally know that it was the Will of the Zombie Planet who revealed our whereabouts to the high-ranking warrior.
It deceived us.
It is, in fact, part of the Candlestick Sky Civilization. Whenever the Candlestick Sky Civilization invades another planet, it precedes them, creating a zombie crisis to prevent that planet from forming effective military forces. This paves the way for the Candlestick Sky Civilization, allowing them to invade successfully every time.
However, this time, I, a human who retained my sanity after being zombified, was present. I helped Blue Star repel the Candlestick Sky Civilization's army and thwarted its plan.
It sought to eliminate me through the high-ranking warrior, but it failed. We turned the tables and killed the warrior instead.
Perhaps it wasn't a complete failure for it. The Candlestick Sky Civilization's garrison is about to arrive, our spacecraft are destroyed, and we have no means left to detonate the seventh spiritual stone vein. My fate will likely be death.
No, there's another way. The Zombie Kings' ability is matter-energy exchange, allowing them to transform any part of their body into energy. I can utilize the shared ability to gain this power, causing my entire body to explode and thus detonating this spiritual stone vein.
I never imagined that my life would end in such a way.
So be it. Destroying the Candlestick Sky Civilization's energy source and preventing them from invading other planets before my death can be considered a great accomplishment.
The Will of the Zombie Planet has vanished. I don't know if it died with the Zombie Kings or if it has taken refuge in other zombies.
The Will of Blue Star is weeping, likely unwilling to see me die this way. Unfortunately, there's no time to comfort it now.
I can only urge it to return and help humanity continue its struggle against the zombies, hoping that humankind will achieve ultimate victory.
Lu Yang's final entry.
