Chapter 946: Dragon Nest Nirvana

The turquoise waves of the East Sea rose and fell as Chu Feng drifted alone in his small boat, a solitary figure on the vast expanse. With no one to talk to, he silently and distractedly submerged into the ocean.

As he passed Mount Immortality, a melancholic expression crossed Chu Feng's face. He recalled the magnificent gatherings they once had there, where battles and crises were met with heroic camaraderie and laughter. It was there that they had collectively captured and slain individuals like Zhou Shang, the God-body, Xu Chengxian, the Myriad Star Body, and members of the extraterrestrial allied forces.

Of those who had faced life and death together, he was the only one who had returned alive.

Chu Feng stood quietly and silently on his small boat, his figure receding from view, his back appearing somewhat desolate.

As he neared the Dragon Lair, the sea eye, no longer concealed, surfaced directly in the ocean. It swallowed the waves, creating an extremely perilous sight.

There was no Dragoness to greet him today, as she had been slain by a single strike from Taiwu, leaving only remnants of her blood in the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron. It was uncertain if she could ever reappear.

Chu Feng gazed blankly at the spot, a profound sense of loss weighing on him.

In the distance, people emerged from the sea. They were from Penglai Island and Fangzhang Island, passing through the area. They too had recently been exploring the Dragon Lair but had been unable to enter.

"Is that...?" they wondered, astonished. As they surfaced, they immediately spotted Chu Feng wandering nearby. Their faces froze, overcome by immense fear.

They secretly marveled at Chu Feng's resilience; he truly hadn't died. Even after the Great Abyss had swallowed Taiwu, he had managed to return alive.

No wonder rumors had been circulating in the starry sky these past few days about strands of his active blood being found outside the Great Abyss, suggesting he wasn't dead. Indeed, it was true.

Chu Feng, silent and still like a ghost, didn't look at them, choosing instead to stand calmly on the surface of the sea.

The people from the two islands, steeling themselves, approached Chu Feng with humble and cautious respect. The man before them had dared to fight the Yang Realm to the very end, and combined with his formidable reputation, who wouldn't be afraid?

Chu Feng didn't respond, lost in his own world.

Seeing this, the people from the two islands immediately retreated, not daring to disturb him.

"It really is Chu Feng! He's alive! This is huge news; it will definitely be a sensation if it reaches the starry sky," an excited young man exclaimed.

"Silence! Act as if you saw nothing. Keep this to yourself!" an elder reprimanded him in a low voice.

These days, they had been very low-key, having completely changed their ways. They hadn't even made a statement when the Yang Realm invaders attacked Earth.

It proved that their choice at that time was incredibly correct. The people of Yingzhou had openly sided with the invaders, even capturing Qianshan and Qianjia from Mount Putuo and sending them into space as a sign of their allegiance. And what was the result?

In the end, Yingzhou Island was destroyed.

On the sea surface, the small boat vanished as Chu Feng entered the sea eye, bursting into a folded space that led him directly before the Dragon Lair.

Earth's full-scale revival had brought tremendous changes to this place. As soon as he entered, he heard a dragon's roar, and a large green dragon, coiling, swooped down towards him.

Chu Feng stood still; he knew it was merely dragon qi, not a resurrected dragon. Holding the Magnetic Marrow Seal, he gently pressed forward, and as field runes bloomed nearby, the great dragon dissipated.

This seal was a treasure in the eyes of field researchers, originally seized from the Primordial Magnetic Saint Body. It made the application of field techniques twice as effective.

The Dragon Lair had changed. While ruins still lay in the old area beneath the sea eye, more magnificent zones were now revealed. Chu Feng even saw reddish-brown soil stained with dragon blood and several half-exposed dragon scales.

Additionally, vast stretches of lightning-struck wood—all essential materials for constructing the Dragon Lair—now emitted wisps of vigorous, vibrant Yang energy, brimming with life.

Throughout this area, clumps of Dragon Blood Grass exuded fragrance and shot forth crimson light. These were all potent medicines!

In the distance, ancient caves carved into the mountainside echoed with dragon roars and contained abundant lightning-struck wood. Inside, Inverse Scale Flowers and Dragon Fetus Trees swayed with divine radiance, emitted auspicious colors, and gave off a rich fragrance, all now fully mature.

Inside the caves, dragon qi gurgled, astonishingly dense.

Chu Feng got to work, arranging numerous magnets, many of which possessed divine properties. These priceless materials were carefully placed throughout the area.

He was arranging and setting up, following the methods recorded in the Saint Master's inheritance he had obtained from the moon. He was transforming the Dragon Lair into a Nirvana Dragon Abode.

That day, beneath the sea eye, the world turned upside down. Myriad phenomena unfolded, accompanied by the resonant roars of dragons. The underwater mountains and topography were altered as a result, profoundly impacted.

Many sea creatures were astonished to discover that numerous terrestrial spiritual objects, the spiritual energy in oceanic trenches, and the essences from undersea mountains were partially drawn away, all converging towards a specific location.

The Dragon Lair!

They were surprised, but immediately made some associations. One by one, they turned and left, not daring to linger nearby.

Two days later, a magnificent Nirvana Dragon Lair was fully transformed.

Chu Feng entered with the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron, delving deep into the ancient caves lined with lightning-struck wood. This was the core area of the former Dragon Lair, where ethereal immortal mist drifted and sacred energy intensely surged.

He didn't collect the Dragon Blood Grass, Inverse Scale Flowers, or Dragon Fetus Trees. These were priceless great medicines that would undoubtedly cause a huge stir if taken outside.

In his eyes, everything here served the purpose of nirvana. He intended to use the Dragon Lair as an immortal furnace to attempt to revive everyone.

Whooshing sounds filled the air! This area was activated, and countless field runes spread and bloomed. Chu Feng, emulating the ancients and reenacting legends, had truly set up such a place of nirvana.

There was no need to consume exotic fruits. Instead, the Dragon Lair, acting as a vessel, consumed the essence of mountains and rivers and the spiritual essence of the seabed, gathering all this to seize the good fortune contained within heaven and earth.

Boom! Heaven and earth intensely trembled, and all things revived. Even the most ordinary blade of grass in the Dragon Lair erupted with dazzling light rain, gathering the divine splendor contained within countless undersea ley lines and great chasms. The Dragon Lair resembled a divine furnace.

This place became incredibly sacred and utterly magnificent. Light rain rustled down, a shower of spiritual energy and a wave of essence, nourishing all living beings.

Chu Feng sat down cross-legged, while the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron stood nearby, rumbling.

Everything proceeded in an orderly manner, following Chu Feng's arrangements. The power of nirvana permeated the area, symbolizing new life, as vibrant life energy surged.

"How is it?" Chu Feng anxiously asked the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron, his heart filled with unease. This concerned whether his beloved relatives and old friends could emerge alive.

"The life force field within my inner world has strengthened by dozens of times, and it's still increasing, but it's also nearing my limit. I don't know if they can survive," the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron replied, uncertain. It had done its best, channeling massive amounts of vigorous life energy into its interior via this place of nirvana.

In this world, there were no Celestials. Furthermore, they had already missed the optimal time frame Taiwu mentioned when they were at the Great Abyss. Chu Feng and the Demon Cauldron had no other option; they could only gamble everything here.

Resonant sounds echoed continuously as mountains and rivers resonated.

Even in ancient times, such a sight would have been astonishing. The notion of someone cultivating by means of mountains and all things was an absolute major event in the evolution world. Ordinary field researchers could not obtain such a legacy and simply did not possess such methods.

In the past, some had transformed through a Phoenix Nest, achieving a leap in life level and instantly becoming transcendent beings. Those tales had all become myths.

Now, a true nirvana was unfolding, swallowing the essence of mountains and rivers, and recreating the magnificent scenes recorded in ancient texts.

For a full four days, this place was dotted with crimson glows, swirling with white mist, surging with golden light, and flowing with colorful energy, all converging towards the central area.

The Dragon Blood Grass, Inverse Scale Flowers, and Dragon Fetus Trees first grew wildly. After reaching their most vibrant peak, they began to wither, their essences flowing into the main location of the nirvana site.

Undoubtedly, the Demon Ancestor's Cauldron absorbed the most, using it to construct a special life force field to revive those individuals.

Chu Feng sat to the side; even without actively absorbing, the energy didn't bypass him. His body was recovering, and although his face appeared as pale as paper, his true strength was increasing.

He was passively evolving. He hadn't intended to absorb even a wisp of energy, but the incredibly rich essence surged into his body on its own. Not consuming it would be a waste, as it would eventually overflow and dissipate from the Dragon Lair.

Eight days later, the white mist thinned, and the energy gradually dried up.

This place of creation had been utilized to its limit; all opportunities within the Dragon Lair and the drawn energy from the surrounding mountains had reached their end.

Chu Feng hadn't thought about evolving, but his own strength had increased unknowingly. He experienced a great nirvana, stepping into the Saint realm.

On the spot, he shed a discarded shell that split with the wind and turned into ashes. His physical body emitted light, his life level sublimated, and he became the youngest Saint of his era!

His soul light also fluctuated violently, vast as a tide. Spiritual power flowed through him, and his body radiated myriad rays of light.

Chu Feng felt no joy at all. This kind of evolution offered him no sense of accomplishment; all he wanted was for his parents and friends to be alive again.

As for his own path of evolution, he had long deliberated it. Everything currently happening was not what he desired. To slay Celestials like Taiwu and Hunyi, this was simply not enough!

He wanted to walk the path of the strongest!

"I only wish for you all to be alive," he thought, "to welcome you back, to show you the starry sky, and to dance with you through the mortal world."

Chu Feng sought nothing else; he only wished for them to survive.

He reached out, slightly trembling, and touched the blood-stained cauldron lid, then abruptly opened it!

"I only ask that you... live!" His voice trembled.
