The "sky weeping," or perhaps a strange phenomenon, ceased with the departure of Daoist Yuntian.
Some speculated that this phenomenon was related to Daoist Yuntian, perhaps caused by him triggering taboos and revealing heavenly secrets. They believed the so-called blood rain from the sky was directed solely at him. Indeed, some who followed Daoist Yuntian observed that this was true; wherever he went, a scarlet, eerie blood rain continuously fell, shrouding him.
"I was wrong, terribly wrong..." someone heard Daoist Yuntian cry out. He had gone mad, screaming, his hair disheveled, his body covered in bloodstains, before he vanished into the starry sky.
Earth became completely tranquil. Envoys from various races said their farewells and departed.
However, as some were just beginning their journey, visitors from the Great Dream Pure Land arrived: Qin Luoyin, accompanied by the little Daoist priest. Just then, Ouyang Feng excitedly appeared, declaring he would welcome his sister-in-law and nephew, only to be kicked away by Chu Feng. "What are you meddling for!?" Chu Feng exclaimed.
The majestic Kunlun Mountains, grand and vast, had now fully recovered. They stood tall among the clouds, covered in medicinal herbs, with mists rising, colors shimmering, and silver waterfalls cascading—a truly delightful landscape.
The Black Ox, Yellow Ox, Old Donkey, and their companions arrived, but after warmly greeting and playfully teasing the little Daoist priest for a few moments, they departed, leaving the family of three some private space. As for the reluctant Ouyang Feng, he was forcibly dragged away by the others, his head buzzing with mischief that he had no chance to unleash.
Qin Luoyin wore a vibrant, colorful dress, looking graceful and noble. Bathed in the ethereal mists, she seemed to radiate a sacred glow, her serene and peaceful expression gracing her pure white, jade-like face. Her goddess-like aura was subtle, yet her grace surpassed what it had been before.
The little Daoist priest had changed, becoming quiet and speaking little. His large eyes, like black gemstones, were curious about everything, including when he gazed at Chu Feng. The "womb-induced amnesia" had claimed him! He ultimately couldn't escape it; even after birth, he remained in a state of confusion. It was said this state would last for three years, during which he had temporarily forgotten his past. Only now did he seem more normal, more like a typical child, rather than the unnaturally prodigious being he once was.
At Qin Luoyin's prompting, the little Daoist priest sweetly addressed Chu Feng as "father." His face was bright with innocent radiance, beautiful and delicate, making him instantly endearing. This innocent smile was truly heartwarming. Chu Feng's heart was touched; he picked the boy up, feeling that only now did he resemble a normal child. He embraced him like a loving father.
Afterward, Chu Feng, Qin Luoyin, and the little Daoist priest boarded a green bamboo raft and traversed the skies, admiring the famous mountains, great rivers, and beautiful scenery of Earth. With Earth now fully revitalized, countless beautiful sights abounded: Dragon-Tiger Mountain, where dragons soared and tigers roared; Lushan, with its ten-thousand-foot waterfalls; and the boundless, magnificent Yunmeng Marsh, among others.
"This is the Yangtze River, a sleeping giant dragon..." Chu Feng chuckled, holding the little Daoist priest, as he introduced the beautiful scenery to the mother and son, pointing out landmarks along their journey. The Yangtze River was now a vibrant azure and incredibly vast, far grander than before. After the significant geological changes, it stretched for over ten thousand miles.
"Yangtze River!" Chu Wuhen stretched out his little hand, babbling the words with a tender voice. His eyes were full of curiosity as he watched the surging great river, his small face flushed with excitement.
They continued downstream on the green bamboo raft until they reached the sea. Naturally, whenever they encountered scenery they disliked, they would directly traverse the void, so their journey did not take very long.
In the East Sea, the inhabitants of the three immortal islands — Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou — were terrified. Upon learning that Chu Feng had entered the sea and was heading their way, they all turned deathly pale. Indeed, Chu Feng was heading for the three islands, making Penglai his first stop.
"Greetings, Divine King Chu!" Upon landing on the island, Chu Feng saw people kneeling everywhere. His expression was indifferent as he quietly watched them.
"In the past, we were blind and foolish, deserving of countless deaths," pleaded a voice. "However, we implore you to grant us a path to survival, considering that ninety percent of our ancestors swore allegiance and died in battle during ancient times!" On Penglai Island, a group of elders knelt on the ground, kowtowing forcefully, their foreheads covered in blood, even exposing bone fragments.
Chu Feng remained silent for a moment, truly unable to bring himself to harm them. He recalled that their ancestors had indeed been loyal, with many dying or being wounded, most perishing outside the courageous formation during the final ancient battle. He let out a sigh.
"Behave yourselves," Chu Feng said, before walking deeper into the island. He proceeded directly to Penglai Island's forbidden area to examine its heritage. The leading figures of Penglai Island, feeling as if they had received a great pardon, were profoundly grateful and eagerly led the way. Chu Feng spent some time there, memorizing all the scriptures before his departure.
Next, he went to Fangzhang Island, where he encountered some acquaintances, who were also kneeling. Chu Feng pardoned them as well and told them to rise. Princess Qingqi lowered her head in shame, remaining silent. Fangzhang Island had initially contacted Chu Feng in secret, inviting him to a competition to choose a son-in-law, only to have already internally decided on a member of the Celestial Race. In the end, that person's true identity was revealed: merely a subordinate, a servant, of the Celestial Son. This revelation had once astonished everyone on Fangzhang Island. Now, looking back, Chu Feng had nearly annihilated the entire Celestial Race, leaving everyone on the island utterly ashamed.
Chu Feng didn't mind. He lingered on the island with his wife and child for half an hour, examining all the ancient texts before gracefully departing. Afterward, he made a trip to Yingzhou Island. In the East Sea, the Dragon Maiden appeared and hosted the family of three.
Chu Feng and his family then traveled south to the South Sea. In this region, dozens of black Jiao-snakes trembled in fear. Eventually, the Old Dragon King of the South Sea, a black Jiao-snake over a thousand years old, emerged from the waves, continually prostrating himself before Chu Feng, begging him to spare the South Sea Dragon Clan. In truth, Chu Feng had no intention of killing him. After defeating and slaying the South Sea Black Dragon Prince in a battle on Mount Sanqing, Chu Feng had gained many benefits. Though the South Sea Dragon Clan later sought trouble, he had suffered no losses.
"Has the Dragon Transformation Fruit ripened?" Chu Feng asked. He noticed that the old Jiao-snake had transformed, looking more like a true Jiao-dragon than a mere snake.
"It has!" the South Sea Old Dragon replied fearfully, hastily ordering his subordinates to pick the fruits. Ultimately, Chu Wuhen ate a golden, translucent fruit, juice dripping from his mouth, before the family of three departed.
"Don't forget, from now on, send some Dragon Transformation Fruits to the East Sea for the Dragon Maiden every time they ripen," Chu Feng's voice echoed from afar.
"As you command!" the South Sea Dragon Clan replied, respectfully seeing them off.
In fact, Chu Feng had not gone far. Instead, he ventured into the ocean depths to examine the crystalline metallic cube that had significantly increased the power of the sea race. Years ago, it had descended from beyond this realm, crashing into the seabed. Inside this cube, a woman lay in slumber.
"Dead?" Chu Feng was deeply surprised. Many sea creatures gathered around, trembling as they informed him that the woman had died half a year ago. Inside the crystalline cube, the once peerlessly beautiful woman had now transformed into a snow-white skeleton. In fact, the sea race had once speculated that she might not have been alive at all, and that the earlier impartation of techniques might have been due to a remnant soul. They had tried to open the cube but had all failed.
"Crack!" Chu Feng used the purple-gold bamboo to finally split open the metal cube, revealing its astonishing durability. In the end, the yang energy released was terrifyingly dense, boiling the entire sea area and causing the sea creatures to scatter and flee. Chu Feng lowered his head, furrowing his brow, and stood there for a long time. Eventually, he buried both the cube and the woman's skeleton on the seabed.
Back on the surface, Qin Luoyin whispered to Chu Feng, "I came here to remind you: Daoist Yuntian's divination is exceptionally accurate. What he foretold must be guarded against; I fear you might become negligent." Chu Feng was startled by her words, then looked at her softly. Clearly, she was attentive to Kunlun and to all aspects of his life. The moment Daoist Yuntian divined the heavenly secret, she had immediately opened a super wormhole and arrived.
Chu Feng said, "Don't worry, I have it handled. This planet has recovered, and I believe it has fulfilled certain missions; I'm planning to withdraw. I also want to tell you all to stay away from conflicts recently, retreat to uninhabited areas, and focus on cultivation. I will come to find you later."
Qin Luoyin calmly replied, "Mmm, it's good that you know how to be cautious. The Great Dream Pure Land has a fallback plan, a place of seclusion. The elders have already made arrangements. I must return now; they've summoned me for a discussion." Chu Feng nodded, not attempting to detain her, and saw her off, telling her that he would come to find them once Earth's affairs were settled. In fact, he believed the Great Dream Pure Land was relatively safe, while being by his side was the most dangerous place for them.
He personally escorted them to outer space and only felt relieved after watching them enter the super wormhole. Seeing her figure, robes fluttering, carrying their young son, Chu Feng's heart filled with profound peace. For a moment, he truly longed to withdraw, to retreat from all conflict and spill no more blood.
After a long time, he came back to his senses; the space around him had long been silent. He then returned to Earth and immediately summoned the Black Ox, Yellow Ox, Ouyang Feng, and a group of other great demons. Chu Feng's expression was serious as he said, "Yao Yao's feeling before she left wasn't just idle talk. That old Daoist priest's divination was highly unusual. We must leave Earth immediately and all go into seclusion. No matter what happens outside, do not show yourselves for now."
"Earth has only just recovered; it feels so accomplished, yet we have to leave now. It's truly a pity," the Black Ox sighed. However, knowing the gravity of the situation, he agreed with Chu Feng's proposal without hesitation. They made an immediate decision, and after a secret discussion and making various arrangements that day, they withdrew.
"This time, for our seclusion, we cannot use the paths opened by the Heaven-Pass Wormhole Company!"
"Hmm, but we still need to use it now to pick up others!"
Some of the great Kunlun demons had not returned and were still outside the realm, including Chu Feng's parents, who had already taken precautions based on Yao Yao's previous advice.
"Let's go, meet up with them! Then we'll use Maiden Xi's Yang Realm spaceship to traverse the void and find a secret place!"
That day, Chu Feng picked up his parents and the other great Kunlun demons. Additionally, Lu Tong, the Dragon Maiden, Thousand-Mile Eyes, Ye Qingrou, and others were also on the spaceship. They continuously traversed the starry sea, ensuring no one was following them. Finally, they chose a desolate life planet to temporarily reside and hide.
More than a day had passed. Chu Feng had Maiden Xi take him far from this star region, and only then did he contact the Heaven-Pass Wormhole Company. However, at that moment, he suddenly received a message from Qin Luoyin: "My child and I are both safe. We have retreated to a secret star governed by the Great Dream Pure Land. Do not worry."
Moments later, before Chu Feng could even reply, he received another message: "The Great Dream Pure Land is under attack, but I am safe. No matter what happens, do not believe it. Hide yourself and stay safe!" Chu Feng's heart immediately sank with a jolt. What had happened!?
"To avoid revealing your whereabouts, I will no longer contact you. Take care!" Another message from Qin Luoyin appeared, and it was the last one.
Immediately after, Chu Feng received an extremely urgent and terrified message from an old monstrous expert of the Great Dream Pure Land: "Chu Feng, come quickly! Save Luoyin, save your child!"
In an instant, Chu Feng's scalp tingled with shock and fury! Almost instantly, distress calls from the Great Dream Pure Land erupted like an explosion, pouring in densely and continuously. Simultaneously, shocking news spread throughout the starry sky: the Great Dream Pure Land had been breached, and blood flowed like rivers. Some reported that all cultivators of the Golden Body realm and above in the Pure Land had been slain, and that Saintess Qin Luoyin had died in battle just moments before!
In an instant, Chu Feng understood: something major had happened to the Great Dream Pure Land, and Qin Luoyin might be in danger. Had she sent those messages, those warnings, because she didn't want him to risk himself? Chu Feng's eyes immediately turned bloodshot. With a furious roar, his black hair stood on end, and his killing intent surged to the heavens.
