Chapter 859: Reborn a Daughter

Deep within the Great Dream Pure Land, golden light shimmered brightly. White misty threads wreathed the mountain peaks, accompanied by the rustling of pine trees and the gurgling of silver streams. A rich spiritual energy permeated the air, creating a vibrant, ethereal atmosphere that exuded the charm of an immortal realm.

At this moment, Chu Feng strode lightly, a smile on his face, as he headed to meet Qin Luoyin, who had finally invited him for a talk.

Along the way, all the male disciples of the Great Dream Pure Land wore grim expressions and glared at Chu Feng with intense hostility. They knew the tide had completely turned; some elders were now suggesting that this great devil be invited to join as an adopted son-in-law, to become Qin Luoyin's dao companion.

Enraged, a group of young men's eyes blazed with fury. They longed to charge forward, fight the great devil Chu Feng to the death, pin him to the ground, and crush him, all in the name of vanquishing evil and defending righteousness!

"My heart aches so much! Luoyin is the foremost successor of our Pure Land, pure and flawless, the goddess in the hearts of young people from all races across the starry sky. She possesses peerless grace and beauty that could topple cities, standing high above all others. How can she now be offered to a devil, marrying a native demon from an undeveloped, barbarian planet?"

The group was agitated, but what could they do? They were simply no match for him. Hadn't they seen Ying Wudi? One of the most powerful geniuses in the universe, yet he was beaten to a pulp by Demon Chu, left without a shred of temper, like a kite cut loose.

An old woman softly admonished, "Silence! Earth is already considered one of the top ten planets, replacing the Celestial Race. It's not a barbaric planet. Moreover, its ancient past was once extremely glorious. Overall, it has inheritances and profound ancient historical foundations; it is by no means a primitive land."

At such a critical juncture, she naturally had to change her tune. If Qin Luoyin were indeed to marry Chu Feng, continuing to dispute it would benefit no one.

"Elder, I want to cry!" a young man cried out, filled with grief and indignation. He was one of the strongest young masters in the Pure Land, ranking among the top three apart from Qin Luoyin herself. He had harbored aspirations before, but now he was utterly disheartened. "He's so young, yet he's already a devil lord, rarely matched. In the future, he's sure to be the most terrifying demon king in the starry sky. Junior Sister Luoyin is as pure and flawless as the bright moon in the sky, an immortal maiden from the upper realms, with unparalleled beauty. And yet, she's to marry a demon?"

The old woman said, "You all know that he can already sweep aside all the kings of his generation. Won't he be even more invincible in the future? This is good news for him, for Luoyin, and for our Great Dream Pure Land. In the future, we will have a forbidden expert who can stand tall against the entire universe as our protector. What more could you be unsatisfied with?!"

"But he forced his way in! He single-handedly invaded our Great Dream Pure Land. If we truly agree to this marriage, won't it make our Great Dream Pure Land appear weak?" some disciples argued, dissatisfied. "Furthermore, he previously declared that he would become the Grand Patriarch of our Pure Land. If that comes true, it would be outrageous!"

"Don't dwell on such matters. What if he forced his way in? In the future, it might even be considered a beautiful tale," another old woman spoke, surprisingly defending Chu Feng.

An old man also nodded, saying, "If Luoyin's descendants are outstanding enough, what's wrong with them becoming the patriarch in the future? As for his so-called Grand Patriarch title, that's just a jest."

In fact, once perspectives shift, it's a case of 'love me, love my dog' or 'hate me, hate my dog' – perceptions and understandings change accordingly. Some of the old women in the Great Dream Pure Land realized that accepting Chu Feng could bring many benefits, so now some of them began trying to 'whitewash' his image.

Of course, some other old women and old men still had ashen faces, never having acknowledged Chu Feng, and were still stubbornly resisting.

"'It's just like those divine sons and holy maidens Chu Feng sold off,' someone added. 'Before, it was seen as a disgrace, but now that Chu Feng has displayed such immense combat power, do you still think it's shameful for them to have been captured? If it were you, you'd only be fit to be sold too. And in a few decades or a century, who knows? Perhaps, as that donkey said, being sold by Chu Feng might even become a mark of genius, not a defeat, but a different kind of glory.'"

When these words were uttered, the young people present looked as if they had been struck by lightning, deeply wounded. Was there no justice left, if even these important elders were speaking in Chu Feng's favor?

At this moment, not only were they unwilling, but the elites from various races who were guests in the Great Dream Pure Land also clenched their fists, watching helplessly as Chu Feng went to meet Qin Luoyin and disappeared into the depths of the bamboo grove.

"Wu Lunhui, where are you? Come out and fight the great devil Chu Feng! This time, I won't speak ill of you; I guarantee my full support, cheering you on!" someone shouted indignantly, summoning Wu Lunhui, hoping he would emerge to curb the great devil Chu Feng.

Meanwhile, Chu Feng and Qin Luoyin were "chatting happily"—though this was, of course, only his one-sided perception.

The location was tranquil. Not far off was a purple bamboo grove, thick with spiritual energy, where purple mists flowed, resembling the immortal realm of the Purple Bamboo Forest in the South Sea. It was accompanied by a crystal-clear lake, shimmering with radiant colors. Nearby, graceful hills were entwined with luminous spiritual vines, sparkling with brilliant light. Lakes and ponds dotted the landscape, crossed by pristine white stone arch bridges, with elegant pavilions nestled amongst them.

Chu Feng spoke at length, showing no reserve. Initially, Qin Luoyin listened calmly, barely speaking. Although she had recovered many memories from the foreign realm, she still remembered the difficult past between them, and there were some lingering emotional ties. However, as Chu Feng, this brazen and thick-skinned individual, continued to speak, she found it hard to remain calm, her cheeks even flushing slightly.

"What nonsense are you talking about?!" Qin Luoyin felt that this guy was utterly shameless. They had just met, and after only a short conversation, he was already referring to them as an old married couple, being overly familiar.

"What is there to be shy about between us? Why should we act like strangers?" Chu Feng said, beaming. But in Qin Luoyin's eyes, that smile always seemed annoying—a little mischievous, even somewhat wicked, and generally not serious.

Chu Feng, in a consultative tone, asked, "After we get married and perform the wedding rites, do you think it would be better to have our son become the patriarch, or would it be more wonderful for our daughter to take on that role?"

Qin Luoyin had a slender figure and fair, radiant skin, as if carved from mutton-fat jade, yet far more vibrant. Her entire being exuded grace and nobility, and her beauty was beyond words, truly peerless. At this moment, she wore a look of astonishment, her face instantly turning crimson. She truly couldn't stand him; she always felt this guy was simply too shameless.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Where is there a daughter?" she lightly chastised.

Chu Feng said, "Indeed, there isn't one now, but we definitely have to have one! It's a must. After we get married, we'll strive to 'cultivate' a well-behaved, intelligent, and beautiful little daughter."

"This dad is truly shameless," the little Daoist couldn't help but comment, finding his father unbearable. "I haven't even been born yet, and he's already making that lewd face, wanting to have another daughter. How disgraceful!"

Then, he met with tragedy. Chu Feng heard his voice and immediately retorted, "When we have another daughter, we must be careful. She absolutely must not come with memories! One rebellious son is enough; we don't need a rebellious daughter. And besides, this rebellious son needs to be dealt with first."

"Who's having one with you?!" Qin Luoyin felt her cheeks burning. What kind of person was this? They had just come to try and mend their relationship, and after only a short conversation, he was already talking about having a daughter. She couldn't take it.

"Dad, I'm your creditor from your previous life, here to collect debts in this one! Give me back my black talismans! We're back in this universe, and I haven't seen you make a move yet. Also, what about our family heirloom?" the little Daoist prattled on, very articulate. Then, he changed his tone and added, "Mom, you need to be careful. They say daughters are their father's lovers from a past life. He has ulterior motives; he wants to repay his romantic debts from his previous life."

"Rebellious son, shut up!" Chu Feng reprimanded him, then looked at Qin Luoyin, saying, "This rebellious son came with memories, and he just feels too monstrous. We need to sort out the situation. I think he definitely needs to be delivered by C-section, and we should find him a divine beast as a wet nurse. Otherwise, raising a child with memories born normally would be too awkward!"

"Dad, this is revenge! How cruel of you, to want to cut me out?!" the little Daoist protested, increasingly convinced that his father was not a benevolent man.

"Less nonsense! If you weren't my son, I would have long ago thrown you, this monstrous being, into the Cycle of Reincarnation and sent you to be reborn again!" Chu Feng declared.

"My dear mother, you be the judge! Isn't he going too far?!" the little Daoist demanded indignantly.

To his surprise, after some thought, Qin Luoyin actually agreed with Chu Feng's point of view, deciding on a C-section and then finding a powerful wet nurse for the little Daoist.

"Oh, no! I haven't even been born, and I've already suffered ten thousand critical damage points! Is this still my birth mother? Is this still my birth father? Is there any justice left in the world? You two are too disgraceful!" The little Daoist protested loudly, but he didn't resist completely, as he himself felt that having arrived with memories indeed made things quite awkward for the two of them. "Sigh, actually, I know what's going on," he continued. "You two want to create a new life! You want to have another little daughter so you can enjoy your romantic world together, which is why you're abandoning me in advance!"

Qin Luoyin couldn't stand him. What kind of outrageous talk was this? She directly patted her abdomen, "beating" the little Daoist. However, Chu Feng nodded and said, "Rebellious son, what you said makes sense. With you, this burden, around, what kind of situation is this? I see you really do have self-awareness."

The little Daoist immediately shouted, "Dad, how thick-skinned can you be?! You should just think such things to yourself, but you actually dare to say them out loud! You're utterly shameless!"

Then, Chu Feng walked over and gently put his arm around Qin Luoyin's waist.

"What are you doing?!" Qin Luoyin's luminous, exquisite face immediately flushed crimson, and she quickly retreated, trying to evade his arm.

"Don't move," Chu Feng said. "I just think this rebellious son, Chu Nan, is too ill-behaved. I need to teach him a lesson. Why not dig him out early? Are we saving him for New Year's? Otherwise, when will our daughter be born?"

Listening to Chu Feng's utterly shameless words, Qin Luoyin felt a little dizzy. She really wanted to slap him, then she gracefully took a step, trying to avoid him. However, Chu Feng was immensely powerful, unmatched by his peers. He moved with her, his arm still around her waist, as if they were gracefully dancing. They glided over the stone arch bridge and across the surface of the lake, their robes fluttering, appearing like an immortal couple.

In the distance, a young disciple from the Great Dream Pure Land was approaching, intending to deliver a message. He happened to witness this scene and immediately spat out a mouthful of old blood, overcome with grief and indignation. "How much time had passed? Yet the great devil Chu Feng was already embracing his junior sister's waist, gliding over the waves, flying side by side. It was simply too heartbreaking."

"Argh, my blood! My heart aches so much!" the young disciple cried out.

"Senior Brother, why have you come? What happened?" Qin Luoyin asked, stubbornly and resolutely swatting away Chu Feng's hand and pushing him away.

"Heartache!" the second senior brother replied instinctively, his face filled with indignation. He glared at Chu Feng, gritting his teeth, but finally let out a long sigh of helplessness. He then quickly informed her, saying, "Junior Sister, something big has happened! A super young master has arrived in the Pure Land, claiming to be from another universe. He's terrifyingly powerful, and he specifically asked to see you by name. Even Elder Cui couldn't stop him!"

After that, he turned and fled, genuinely unwilling to stay in that place any longer, his heart filled with too much sorrow.

After running back through the purple bamboo grove to the front, a group of people saw his distraught appearance and immediately gathered around him, full of concern. "Senior Brother, why is there blood at the corner of your mouth? Did the great devil Chu Feng attack you? Let's go avenge you!"

"Sigh, our Junior Sister is going to marry Demon Chu," the second senior brother said, looking utterly despondent, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth again. "I saw them two... *pfft*, never mind!"

Meanwhile, more people were focused on the other side, because a major event had unfolded. Chu Feng returned, with Qin Luoyin following gracefully behind him.

In an instant, Chu Feng's eyes turned cold, and a divine light flared within them. He saw the battle ahead: Ying Wudi had been struck through the chest by a single finger, blood spattering as he coughed blood and was sent flying horizontally. The attacker, meanwhile, transformed into a streak of light and pursued him. With a bang, he landed from mid-air, stepping on Ying Wudi, then pressed him to the ground with one foot, and even placed a foot on Ying Wudi's face, saying with disdain, "What are you? Though barely passable, you're not worthy to contend with me!"

Chu Feng was instantly enraged. Regardless of anything else, this was his brother-in-law. For Ying Zixian's sake, he couldn't ignore this matter!

"Let go of my brother!" Ying Xiaoxiao cried out, her voice choked with tears. At this critical moment, she naturally felt deep sympathy for her brother. She could see that this person truly harbored malicious intent, unlike Chu Feng, who had shown mercy.

"Heh heh, the so-called geniuses of this universe are all trash!" the person sneered.
