Chapter 835: Returning to the Original Universe

The five Quasi-Saints were thrown back, their ears ringing and vision blurring. As they were at the very front, helping the four Grandmasters stabilize the earth energy, they bore the full force of the impact. Nevertheless, the Quasi-Saints proved incredibly powerful. Despite the terrifying field explosion, which annihilated the entire wasteland and caused it to completely disintegrate, their bodies sustained minimal injury.

Two field Grandmasters died, directly halving their numbers, while all field Masters were wiped out, with none remaining.

"Ah..." The Little Martial God screamed. He was severely wounded, with only one arm, his head, and a small part of his torso remaining; the rest of his body was a bloody mess.

The descendants of the Moon Goddess and the Witch God were equally mangled, with only their heads remaining intact while the rest of their bodies vanished, splattering blood across the ground.

Relatively speaking, merely surviving was a stroke of luck, as everyone else, over eight thousand elite soldiers, had perished.

Chu Feng seized this opportunity to escape with his group. He had just used the earth energy to quickly descend hundreds of miles with them, fleeing along an underground ley line.

"Get out here!" a Quasi-Saint roared, shattering the distant ground with a thunderous blast, attempting to force Chu Feng and his group into the open.

Thus began Chu Feng and his group's desperate escape, with several individuals relentlessly pursuing them.

Chu Feng single-handedly bought them more than half a day, allowing them to absorb additional medicinal power. However, they were being hunted across the wasteland, and despite over eight thousand people having fallen, the number of pursuers was even greater.

Furthermore, being descendants of deities, the Little Martial God, the Moon Goddess's descendant, and the Witch God's descendant immediately consumed powerful medicine, allowing their physical bodies and other attributes to recover.

During the chaotic battle, individuals from the Abyss also intervened, attempting to stop Yao Yao and pursue Chu Feng and his group.

Eventually, Chu Feng felt he could no longer sustain the effort, concluding it was time to let the others depart and return to their original universe.

"Think you can just leave without my permission?" the Little Martial God raged, leading multiple Quasi-Saints in a relentless chase from behind. He fully leveraged his status to summon them for assistance.

This time, Chu Feng and his group faced a dire crisis. Multiple Quasi-Saints combined their power to collapse the earth, causing it to explode with a roar and magma to boil, instantly turning the entire wasteland crimson.

In an instant, the area became a surging ocean of magma, extending for a thousand miles in every direction, completely melted.

Chu Feng groaned, wounded. Even with his formidable field cultivation, he found it difficult to withstand the combined restraints and attacks of so many Quasi-Saints.

Vast swathes of underground field runes were being obliterated!

At the last moment, some of the great Kunlun demons were forced to depart, returning to their original universe. Unfortunately, Qin Luoyin was also captured and restrained by a Quasi-Saint.

"Haha, good!" the Little Martial God laughed heartily, then coldly sneered and ordered Chu Feng to immediately come to him.

Chu Feng emerged from the sea of magma, cast a deep glance at Qin Luoyin, then vanished underground again, departing without acknowledgment.

Evidently, Qin Luoyin's gaze dimmed slightly upon witnessing this.

Chu Feng swiftly departed with the remaining individuals, continuously carving field symbols along the way to tell them it was time to leave, as he likely couldn't hold on much longer.

Half an hour later, several Quasi-Saints traversed the magma, appearing in the area to protect the Little Martial God and his group. They were holding Qin Luoyin, hoping to lure Chu Feng out.

However, Chu Feng remained unseen.

Eventually, Chu Feng abruptly appeared within the Quasi-Saints' encirclement. He swiftly grabbed the Little Martial God by the neck, moving like a ghost and evading Saint-level divine senses.

Undoubtedly, his ability to achieve this was solely due to his mastery of the fields; no other explanation was possible.

Chu Feng had been lying dormant within the earth energy, integrated with nature. After patiently waiting for half an hour, he suddenly struck, seizing the Little Martial God.

In fact, this was an extremely risky move. He had been hidden nearby for a long time, and Quasi-Saints were incredibly perceptive; if they had discovered him, he would have surely died with no chance of escape.

He won his gamble, evading the divine senses of the Quasi-Saints and the search of two field Grandmasters, thus capturing the Little Martial God alive.

"Ah..." The Little Martial God was overcome with fury and anxiety. With his cultivation, he was a formidable opponent, rarely challenged among Golden Body-level evolvers below the Quasi-Saint realm, yet he had been successfully ambushed and captured!

He did not believe Chu Feng was his true match; he attributed the successful ambush solely to the field's ability to conceal Chu Feng's aura.

He tried to struggle, but four divine magnetic flags were deeply embedded in his flesh, effectively pinning him down.

"You shadowy spirit, if you have the guts, fight me! I'll kill you with one hand!" he taunted arrogantly, trying to provoke Chu Feng into a direct confrontation.

"Crack!" Without a word, Chu Feng twisted his neck, stating, "Dare to speak another word, and the four divine magnetic flags will vibrate simultaneously, annihilating you!"

"Stop! Release him!" a Quasi-Saint shouted.

The Little Martial God was a descendant highly favored by the Martial God and could not be lost. However, they had not anticipated that this formidable young man, reputed to be virtually invincible below the Quasi-Saint realm, would be captured alive!

"Less talk, release that woman!" Chu Feng said coldly.

He also warned them to trust his field techniques, stating that a single vibration of the divine magnetic flags would be enough to crush the Little Martial God's essence.

The two field Grandmasters' expressions changed upon hearing this. They warned the present Quasi-Saints that if the divine magnetic flags vibrated simultaneously, Chu Feng could easily achieve his threat.

Qin Luoyin's gaze towards Chu Feng softened. She knew how incredibly dangerous the situation had just been, yet Chu Feng had disregarded everything, lying dormant here and delving into this desperate situation to rescue her.

Originally, she still harbored some resentment and unease towards Chu Feng due to past experiences, but those feelings now suddenly dissipated.

"Alright, release her!" a Quasi-Saint declared, unwilling to gamble further.

Qin Luoyin returned to Chu Feng's side, and they retreated together.

"Let's go, return to our original universe!" Chu Feng said, taking her deep underground. They then traversed through space, moving far away from the area, with a group of people following behind.

Eventually, Chu Feng caught up with Ying Zhexian, Ying Xiaoxiao, and the little Daoist priest.

"Have a safe journey back to your original universe," Chu Feng said, giving them his final farewell.

"Take care!" Qin Luoyin said.

"Dad, you're still very dependable; I wasn't wrong about you!" the little Daoist priest added.

"Brother-in-law!" the silver-haired loli choked, on the verge of tears. She felt an immense reluctance to part with Chu Feng like this, knowing that once she returned, she would forget many things.

"Take care!" Ying Zhexian also stepped forward, whispering to him.

"Go!" Chu Feng urged.

*Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...* Finally, they all transformed into shimmering light, then vanished instantly from the world.

"Release me!" the Little Martial God snarled.

"Crack!" This time, his waist broke, and Chu Feng simultaneously loosened his skullcap, warning him to behave.

Then, Chu Feng went to catch up with the Big Black Ox and the others for their final farewell, seeing them one last time.

"Brother, take care! We'll see you again in our original universe!" they said, also transforming into shimmering light and vanishing.

Chu Feng watched them leave, knowing that while they might see him again after just one night, he would have to wait decades to return.

He sped off, carrying the Little Martial God. It was clear that countless people were pursuing him, intent on rescuing the Martial God's descendant.

In fact, several Quasi-Saints and two field Grandmasters were constantly following Chu Feng.

They simply hadn't dared to act, fearing the divine magnetic flags would explode. If the Martial God's favored descendant hadn't been a hostage, they would have attacked long ago.

Chu Feng returned to the wasteland, feeling somewhat worried about Yao Yao.

He was truly wary of this world because every evolver had risen by treading on the bones of others, and all were exceptionally skilled in combat.

Especially the powerful ones, who had likely used exotic arts to absorb countless peers to achieve their current status; their combat power was astonishing!

Not long after, intense energy fluctuations erupted from deep within the wasteland, causing immense panic. The entire ground sank, and a holy rain began to fall.

"Oh no, a Saint massacre! A major event involving the slaughter of multiple Saints has occurred!" someone exclaimed in horror.

With a whoosh, Yao Yao shot through the air. Behind her, on the plateau, a total of eleven Saints successively plummeted from the sky, all utterly annihilated by an astonishing secret art she employed!

"My heavens, she killed eleven Saints in one move?! Is this defying the heavens!?" From afar, a Quasi-Saint who witnessed the scene trembled uncontrollably.

It should be noted that the woman had no physical body, and she hadn't been in the Saint realm for very long!

How could this be possible?

Everyone on the wasteland was stunned, terrified to their core.

"Roar..." From afar, beast roars echoed. Descendants of divine beasts from the Abyss, some at the Quasi-Saint level and others at the Saint level, arrived to join the battle. They had originally intended to pursue Chu Feng and Yao Yao to establish their might.

But now, with Saint-level experts blocking their path, Yao Yao's phoenix eyes gleamed with killing intent, her peerless grace fully manifest. With a boom, she unleashed another wondrous art.

The next moment, horrifying screams rang out as the divine beast descendants and Saint-level experts once again perished, turning into vast pools of blood that stained the wasteland crimson.

Yao Yao broke through the encirclement, successfully eliminating all her opponents.

"Finally, I've adapted to all the rules of this world," Yao Yao murmured. "Only through battle could I touch upon the most fundamental essence unique to this world. Another major battle won't be so arduous now."

Yao Yao murmured these words, which utterly terrified the Quasi-Saints in the vicinity. Not a single one dared to show themselves; they all wished they could feign death and were in full retreat.

Yao Yao sensed Chu Feng's location and immediately rushed towards him.

The Little Martial God was already utterly terrified. He was usually arrogant and extremely proud.

But now, the Little Martial God was rigid with fear. Facing this beautiful, almost ethereal woman, he felt utterly inferior. This woman made him feel insignificant; though a descendant of a deity, he felt an immense disparity when compared to her.

The Little Martial God could sense that this woman defeated opponents of her own rank as easily as pulling weeds or tearing window paper; she was simply too powerful.

In fact, the truth was not far off: Yao Yao's battle consciousness and other abilities had fully returned, and in the recent battle, she had completely adapted to the essence of this world.

This caused her combat power to skyrocket.

Thus, she had just replicated her astonishing performance from ancient Earth, where she had no rival across the star sea, and no one of her rank could challenge her.

"Let's go!" Yao Yao called to Chu Feng, stating there was no need to continue killing; otherwise, it might attract deities.

"Get rid of those two!" Chu Feng said, pointing to the two field Grandmasters behind them. "Those two are too persistent; if they keep following, they'll eventually find us."

The two field Grandmasters' faces turned green, and they immediately turned to flee. However, the moment Yao Yao extended her hand and shot out two beams of light, they both exploded.

"Crack!" Finally, Chu Feng broke all of the Little Martial God's bones, and before leaving, blasted him into a bloody mist with a single punch. Then, Chu Feng and Yao Yao vanished from the area.

With only the two of them left, it was much easier to hide. Chu Feng used field techniques, while Yao Yao employed secret arts to erase all traces of their presence, vanishing from this world.

Most importantly, enough time had passed since Chu Feng consumed the holy medicine, making it ten times harder to search for him using causal rules.

Moreover, as time passed, it would become impossible to find him.

Decades flew by. Chu Feng had been in this world for nearly a century, cultivating in seclusion for many years, and he was now preparing to return.

All his old acquaintances had long since departed. He had stayed in this timeline long enough; it was time for him to leave.
