Chapter 80: Unmatched Fist and Palm

The bright moon hung high, casting its silvery light everywhere.

The forest was not dark at all; instead, it was bathed in soft, snowy white light.

However, an ominous aura filled the air, making the place somewhat terrifying.

Chen Hai and several strange beasts advanced, causing the entire mountain to tremble slightly. It was a terrifying sight, and leaves continuously fell from the trees!

Behind them were hundreds more strange beasts, each with gleaming white fangs and ominous scales.

Chu Feng remained calm, watching them, ready for battle at any moment.

"Don't cause any trouble; the seed isn't ripe yet!" Chen Hai spoke, turning to face the three strange beasts at the front, his voice cold and indifferent.

He was arrogant and domineering, warning them with murderous intent.

The three strange beasts were exceptionally powerful, each a regional overlord. Hearing the threat, they all revealed chilling killing intent.

"Roar..."

A white rhinoceros roared, its body glowing as it moved its massive form, aiming its horn at Chen Hai, ready to charge at any moment.

There was also a mountain cat, golden-yellow all over, not large, only a little over a meter long, but its emanating killing intent indicated it was absolutely terrifying.

And a five-meter-long jackal, which looked incredibly vicious with a mouth full of fangs and cruel eyes, its body shrouded in black mist, exuding a heavy malevolence.

None of the three strange beasts were weaker than Chen Hai. They were furious and regretful because they hadn't gotten hold of the pollen.

Unfortunately, they had arrived too late.

Ultimately, the three unique strange beasts restrained themselves. They also wanted to wait for the seed to mature, as its medicinal effects would be even better then.

The silver vine was completely dim, its vitality rapidly diminishing. Its petals had fallen, leaving only a single, snow-white, crystalline seed.

"Excellent!" Chen Hai was very pleased by what he saw.

He stood there with his hands clasped behind his back, calmly waiting for the seed to fully mature. He believed it wouldn't take long to reap the reward!

In the night, the forest surprisingly fell silent.

Hundreds of strange beasts ceased their roars, deterred by the overlords, and dared not move erratically, dutifully staying in the back.

The vital energy from the silver vine was visibly draining away, its luster growing dimmer as all the essence gathered towards the seed at its tip.

The same was true for the silver roots on the ground.

Chu Feng remained silent. Since Chen Hai and the other strange beast overlords hadn't immediately attacked, he was content with the situation.

This was because his physique was still strengthening. A warm current surged within him, continuously impacting his body. This indescribable baptism allowed him to clearly perceive the changes within himself.

On his body, there were some sticky, foul-smelling substances, like a layer of sweat. These were expelled during the very intense process of evolution that had just occurred.

Chu Feng felt clear inside, comfortable and incredibly light all over.

At this moment, his flesh and blood were translucent, his internal organs crystalline, and his bones were as white as if forged from divine metal.

"Buzz!"

Chu Feng heard his internal organs resonate once more. His powerful heartbeat thumped like a drum, blood surged through his limbs, and mysterious energy coursed within him.

He knew that another intense baptism had begun.

This change was indeed continuing!

His body was damp and sticky, those substances similar to sweat, being violently expelled.

Chu Feng felt that if he washed off these foul-smelling layers, his skin would likely be as brilliant as glazed jade. He felt his senses sharpened, his mind exceptionally clear and energetic.

This evolution was too rapid, strengthening his physique continuously from the inside out!

Finally, his body gradually calmed down, and he was completely relieved. The pollen had been fully utilized, and his body was now clear, translucent, and increasingly powerful!

A sudden ringing sound emanated, Chen Hai's communicator. It caused many fierce beasts to stir, and even the eyes of the strange beast overlords glinted with ferocity.

Chen Hai frowned but answered the call.

"Have you found Chu Feng?" A person from the Mu family asked, highly concerned about the matter.

Normally, they wouldn't disturb Chen Hai, as they held him in high regard, and would inquire about minor matters with the woman. But now, she was unreachable.

"No!" Chen Hai replied.

He was about to obtain a great fortune from Chu Feng, so out of reflex, he denied it without thinking, intending not to reveal anything.

He had already silenced witnesses before this.

"Could that Chu Feng really be unusual?" The Mu family members wondered.

"Probably not. However, that King Kong might have a big problem." Chen Hai changed the subject, not wanting to discuss Chu Feng. The more he cared, the more he wanted to conceal it.

The Mu family asked where the woman and the man who could use earth-遁术 were. Chen Hai falsely reported that the two had made significant discoveries and were secretly tracking King Kong, and that he himself was on his way to join them.

"Could King Kong really be related to the Ox God King?!" The Mu family's voice was a little cold.

"I'll only know once I get there!" Chen Hai said.

The communicator signal was very poor, intermittent in the primordial mountains, and the call was cut off several times.

"I've already pursued them deep into the mountains and found their tracks. I'll stop talking now!" Chen Hai quickly hung up.

Now, Chu Feng's hearing was extraordinarily acute; he could clearly hear the conversation between the Mu family and Chen Hai, even from a distance. Everything became clear to him.

He smiled, very pleased.

Chen Hai's concealment was effectively helping him.

However, Chu Feng felt a slight twinge of guilt towards King Kong, as the fellow had once again taken the blame for him.

"With death staring you in the face, what are you laughing about!?" Chen Hai glanced at him, not taking him seriously.

"Thank you. Even in your final moments, you're still shining brightly, clearing up some trouble for me," Chu Feng smiled.

"You, alone?!" Chen Hai understood his meaning, but a look of disdain crossed his face. He had practiced boxing for over thirty years, and after his evolution, he had few rivals among the awakened.

Plop!

At this moment, the silver vine withered completely, losing all its luster. The seed automatically detached, snow-white like jade, crystal clear, and gleaming brilliantly under the moonlight.

Whoosh!

The jackal moved, its power terrifying. It was an overlord beast from the vicinity, its five-meter-long body darting forward like lightning, mouth agape, about to swallow the seed.

But Chu Feng was faster. Standing close by, he immediately snatched the seed into his palm, absolutely unwilling to let it go, as it was of great importance!

Boom!

At the same moment, Chen Hai erupted. He hadn't made a move earlier because he was somewhat wary of the three strange beast overlords and wanted to find an opportunity to eliminate one or two first. Now, he lunged at the jackal from behind.

A terrifying fist-force bloomed. He was awe-inspiring, and the surrounding vegetation was all snapped by the fierce wind generated by his punch. The power of this punch was astonishing!

The jackal reacted quickly, turning its head to spray out a burst of black light, sharp as a blade, intending to cut down Chen Hai.

However, he was already prepared. His speed undiminished, he used the shield in his left hand to block the black light, while his right fist-strike continued to blast towards the jackal.

Clang!

The alloy shield did not shatter; its defensive power was astonishing.

With a whoosh, Chen Hai was close. His fist-strike, its might undiminished, slammed into the jackal's body. This time, he intended a single fatal blow, concentrating all his strength into the punch.

Pfft!

Blood splattered. The jackal roared in fury; its body had been pierced through, its ribs completely torn, nearly severed in two. With unwillingness, it was flung over ten meters, landing in a pool of blood, dead.

Chen Hai was utterly ruthless, succeeding with his sneak attack.

The other two fierce beast overlords, the white rhinoceros and the mountain cat, involuntarily retreated a few steps. The human had actually dispatched the jackal in an instant, making their hearts tense.

Chen Hai felt considerably more relaxed. With only two strange beast overlords remaining, he had the strength to maneuver and believed he could kill them one by one.

At this moment, he was in excellent spirits!

Chen Hai stepped forward, looking down at Chu Feng, a smile on his face revealing his white teeth. He said, "Thank you for guarding it for me for so long!"

He extended his hand, directly demanding it.

"Aren't you celebrating a bit too early?" Chu Feng said, also in high spirits, speaking from the heart.

Chen Hai approached step by step, the smile on his face growing wider. Everything was under his control. He hadn't expected to find a mysterious fruit, and he was certain he could evolve with it.

Mew!

The golden-yellow mountain cat attacked swiftly, leaping forward. It didn't go for the seed in Chu Feng's hand; instead, it clawed at Chen Hai's throat.

Rumble!

The white rhinoceros also moved, its massive body charging like a small mountain, making the forest tremble as it rammed towards Chen Hai.

Both strange beasts had sensed Chen Hai's danger and surprisingly teamed up, intending to eliminate him first.

"Roar..."

At the same moment, hundreds of strange beasts also became restless, surging forward together, eager to compete for the seed. A terrifying battle was on the verge of erupting.

Chen Hai's expression was indifferent. His body moved like lightning, disappearing from his spot, dodging the attacks from the two strange beast overlords.

He leaped up like a peng bird, soaring down with a whistle, unleashing a punch towards Chu Feng below, intent on finishing him off and seizing the mysterious seed.

Chu Feng finally moved, clenching his fist, meeting Chen Hai's attack, and engaging in a powerful clash.

Bang!

The sound was dull but incredibly powerful. Sand and stones flew, large trees snapped, rocks cracked, and the residual shockwave sent many fierce beasts flying.

Chu Feng stood his ground, not moving an inch.

Chen Hai was shocked. He landed like a large bird on the ground on the other side, feeling sharp pain in his fist. He had actually taken a disadvantage.

One must know that he had practiced Xingyi Quan for over thirty years. After his evolution, he was incredibly formidable; it was extremely difficult to surpass him in boxing.

However, just now, he had perceived a certain fist-intent from his opponent—grand and vast, ancient and profound, like a wild bull colliding with his fist.

This caused excruciating pain in his fingers; he had suffered a heavy blow.

"You have some skill; you're also proficient in boxing," Chen Hai tried to calm himself. He realized that things were unfolding beyond his expectations.

Earlier, this Chu Feng was far inferior to him, simply not his match, and could only rely on that strange large bow.

But in such a short time, why had Chu Feng become so strong? It was as if he had become a different person!

Chen Hai was unaware of the pollen's effects. If he had known, he would have gone mad long ago and would never have remained calm; he would have fought desperately with Chu Feng the moment he appeared.

Chu Feng was certain that his physique had evolved, improving significantly. When facing Chen Hai again, he felt no pressure.

"Let me see how powerful Xingyi Quan truly is!" Chu Feng declared, preparing to test his boxing skills against Chen Hai.

Nearby, the golden mountain cat and the white rhinoceros simultaneously growled, both retreating backward. They hoped the two humans would fight until both were gravely wounded.

Seeing this, the other fierce beasts also began to retreat.

Chen Hai moved, swift as lightning. His body flickered, and he was instantly in front of Chu Feng, unleashing the Horse Form from the Twelve Animal Forms of Xingyi Quan. Like a divine horse galloping across the sky, it charged with terrifying momentum, aiming to kill Chu Feng.

Chu Feng remained calm, unleashing the first form of the Ox Demon Fist with full force. He met the attack head-on, clashing in mid-air.

Bang!

Both men retreated. Chu Feng was at ease because, after this evolution, his physique was terrifyingly powerful, and his strength and speed were both astonishing.

Chen Hai was shocked. His arm was numb, trembling slightly, almost crippled.

He knew he was in trouble; things were looking grim. The opponent's strength was superior, and the boxing technique he used was also very peculiar, seemingly no worse than Xingyi Quan.

One must realize that he had received genuine transmission; it was authentic Xingyi Quan, profound and extensive, not some wild, external school.

He knew the terror of this boxing style: when practiced to an advanced level, its technique approached the Dao, capable of crushing any awakened individual!

"Kill!"

Chen Hai roared softly, decisively unleashing his strongest fist-intent: Dragon Form Fist with his left hand, Tiger Form Fist with his right. The Dragon and Tiger Fist-forms, from Xingyi Quan's Twelve Forms, erupted simultaneously.

This was his ultimate technique, and the highest fist-intent he currently wielded. The Dragon and Tiger vying for supremacy, boundless in their dominance, could typically deliver a decisive kill to any opponent.

Chu Feng's expression was serious; he dared not be careless. He unleashed the Great Ox Demon Fist, manifesting its divine fist-intent, and met the attack.

"Boom!"

This strike was incredibly fierce. The fist-wind was vast, tearing apart all the vegetation and large rocks in the area, causing everything to shatter.

The two figures in the arena moved like phantoms, traversing through the fist-wind, moving at extreme speed amidst flying sand and stones, continuously clashing and simultaneously rapidly dodging.

In an instant, they exchanged dozens of fist-strikes.

Chen Hai was horrified. During this time, he had been continuously using the Dragon and Tiger Contest, striking relentlessly, stacking this ultimate move, pushing its lethality to the extreme.

But his opponent endured it.

Moreover, the opponent's strength was greater, their fist-strikes more powerful, smashing onto his arms and clashing against his fists, causing him bone-deep pain. His arms felt as if they were broken.

Pfft!

Chen Hai was sent flying sideways, spitting blood from his mouth. His arms were slightly twisted and spasming. In the final strike, his arm suffered a severe fracture.

"Whoosh!"

He was decisive; the moment his body hit the ground, he shot forward, wanting to escape the area, abandoning any thought of the seed!

With a swish, a figure blocked his path. Chu Feng stood in his way, his speed a notch faster than Chen Hai's!

Chen Hai was terrified. Had this young man just consumed a mysterious fruit?

In his view, this opponent had suddenly become many times stronger, his physique vastly increased, surpassing him in both strength and speed.

"Xingyi Quan is indeed good. If you hand over its true secrets, I'll give you a quick death," Chu Feng said.

"You want the true secrets of Xingyi Quan? Dream on!" Chen Hai's eyes were cold. He was retreating, trying to find a way out, refusing to die here.

"Then there's nothing more to say. Die!" Chu Feng's eyes were sharp. He decisively launched his attack, unleashing explosive power and astonishing speed.

His fists glowed, slightly crystalline, radiating boundless terror.

Bang, bang, bang!

Chen Hai's face was pale. He stumbled backward from Chu Feng's heavy punches, constantly coughing up blood. The shield he carried was deformed, unable to withstand such fist-force.

"Crack!"

Finally, the alloy shield shattered, pierced through by Chu Feng's punch, which then struck Chen Hai's body.

With a wet thud, blood splattered. A bloody hole appeared in Chen Hai's chest, clear through from front to back.
