Why was this happening? Nearly ten thousand soldiers were trapped on the island, and everyone was stunned. A chill ran down their spines from head to toe as they realized their allied army was facing a crushing defeat!
Who would believe that a single Demon Chu, aided by a great demon from Kunlun, could wipe out an allied force of nearly ten thousand?
Those on Penglai Island were terrified, regretting for the first time that Chu Feng, the adversary from Earth they had always sought to kill, had grown to such a formidable extent.
In their eyes, he was practically a force of nature, capable of wiping everyone out single-handedly!
“Break out! I don’t believe he can trap all of us!” someone roared, urging everyone not to panic, but to act together and escape this desperate situation.
“Kill!” The battle cries in the area shook the heavens. Instantly, everyone activated their secret treasures and unleashed their strongest energies, attacking the domain in an attempt to break free.
Yet, the ground was as solid as divine metal, with various divine patterns appearing, proving impossible to break.
In the sky, lightning flashed and thunder roared, with beams of light illuminating the firmament. The most chaotic energy poured down, carrying a destructive aura.
Clearly, the ground domain was terrifying, having once again absorbed some of the lightning energy.
“Ah, it hurts so much!” The cry came not from the ground, but from the sky, where the Great Demon Chu was howling, disheveled and engulfed in lightning.
In that instant, he had been struck by hundreds of lightning bolts, leaving him smoking, his body violently shaking, swaying in mid-air, and splattering blood.
“This is insane!” Chu Feng cursed. The lightning tribulation was far more terrifying and astonishing than anything he had ever read about.
The Golden Body level elder whispered, “This is just the beginning, and already hundreds of lightning bolts are striking. Is he truly on par with Yaoyao from ancient Earth? It’s said the Demon Princess’s lightning tribulation back then was unimaginably terrifying!”
Beside him, an old woman of the same rank immediately became furious. “You have time to worry about his power?” she snapped. “We could all die here! Why aren’t we joining forces to break open the domain?!”
“Let them die first, to blood-sacrifice this domain!” the elder whispered, looking at the countless struggling, glowing figures of the evolvers.
Some individuals were exploding. The symbols rising from the ground were so astonishing that even a slight touch caused some knights and their mounts to be pulverized and die instantly.
“No, I don’t want to die, I want to live!”
“Chu Feng, you’re so vicious, let me go!”
“Break out! Our only hope of escape is to breach this domain!”
The island descended into complete chaos. In just moments since the domain activated, nearly a thousand people had died or been injured—it was nothing short of a massacre!
Anyone who attempted to breach the domain was severely wounded. The symbols rising from the ground were incredibly fierce, with various runes, some resembling sawteeth, others divine chains, blooming to strangle the elite.
It was a grim illustration of 'the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.' Those who attacked proactively fell in swathes, like wheat being harvested, with vast amounts of blood flowing.
Screams rose one after another as evolvers from the starry sky continuously fell, their bodies piling up. Many, of course, were utterly disintegrated, exploding on impact.
“Charge up!” someone yelled, leaping towards the sky, desperate to fly away. However, only a few could achieve flight outside Immortal Mountain; most were suppressed and couldn't leave the ground.
Puff, puff, puff… Unfortunately, the evolvers who surged into the sky met an even worse fate. They exploded mid-air like watermelons struck by boulders, a sight so gruesome it made even battle-hardened evolvers from various races feel their scalps tingle and their stomachs churn.
The domain symbols in the sky were even denser!
“Chu Feng, you are so cruel!” someone screamed.
In just a few short breaths, those who rushed into the sky appeared like an exploding dye shop, with various colors blooming — all from human blood, bones, and organs.
Chu Feng, too, was screaming in pain, grimacing as he was submerged and surrounded by lightning, his skin torn and a charred smell emanating from him.
“This isn’t logical!” he howled.
Even at such a critical moment, the evolvers of various races wanted to curse him. *Unscientific?* they thought. *The very existence of a monster like you is what’s unscientific and heretical!*
Chu Feng roared, “Why is my lightning tribulation dozens of times worse than others’? So much thunder, such dense lightning! I’ll fight with everything I have; I refuse to die here!”
He realized that this time, everyone on the island, including himself, might be annihilated. This was just the beginning, and the lightning strikes were already so overwhelming. If it continued much longer, he would likely be reduced to ashes.
Fortunately, following his secret instructions, the Big Black Ox and the others had piloted the rotting ship into Immortal Mountain, placing them outside the domain.
On the ground, the Holy Sons were horrified. Looking up at Chu Feng’s increasingly powerful heavenly tribulation, their scalps tingled; had it been them, they would surely have been struck dead.
“Strike him dead! If this demon dies, perhaps the domain will break.”
“Who are you talking about?” Even as Chu Feng was being bombarded by thunder and lightning, his body engulfed in electricity, he heard that roar of schadenfreude. He immediately glared and looked down.
Then, amidst the lightning, he used his domain techniques to activate profound magnetic energy. A specific area on the ground immediately boiled, and geomagnetic forces transformed into symbols, surging forth.
That evolver screamed, and his clansmen roared with him, as they were surrounded by domain symbols and instantly engulfed in flames.
Heavenly Fire Thunder Sound—the domain's name reflected its immense power!
“Chu Feng, please show mercy!” someone frantically yelled, waving at the sky, anxious and desperate. “We are all native evolvers, of the same lineage and origin! This is a misunderstanding, let us out!”
Chu Feng stared, recognizing some familiar faces. His pupils glowed with murderous intent; they were people from Penglai. Their shamelessness had reached an astonishing degree.
“Penglai people, you have the audacity to claim common lineage and origin? All of you, go to hell!”
“Chu Feng, you can’t do this!” they pleaded. “We had some misunderstandings before, but from now on, we will fully support you, follow you into battle, and conquer the forces from beyond!”
The Penglai people were desperate. If this continued, they would all be annihilated, not a single one would survive, as the ground flames were rising and growing increasingly fierce.
“Your level of shamelessness is a realm in itself,” Chu Feng's merciless voice retorted. “Leting you out would be a crime; you all deserve to be annihilated!”
Chu Feng’s merciless words brought despair to the Penglai people. Being the weakest in strength, no match for the extraterrestrial evolvers, they had long been at their limit. Upon hearing his words, they erupted in cries of pain and furious curses.
“Chu Feng, you demon, you truly deserve to die! Attacking Earth’s native evolvers, you are destined for heavenly annihilation!”
“You will surely die under the heavenly tribulation, struck by five thunders, and you will not have a good end!”
The Penglai group cursed viciously, shouting abuses from below. Reaching their final moments, on the brink of death, they had nothing left to fear and had all gone mad.
Then, as Chu Feng focused his attention on them, that area immediately rumbled with thunder and surged with heavenly fires, constructed from countless tiny symbols.
The Penglai people screamed, engulfed in flames, one after another turning into living torches and struggling desperately. Unfortunately, these were energy flames guided by domain runes, and they could not extinguish them.
The Penglai people suffered an unbearable ordeal under the Heavenly Fire Thunder Sound. Some, unable to bear it, knelt on the ground and pleaded, while others rushed into the air, only to disintegrate and die even faster.
Soon after, the Penglai people were completely wiped out. More than two hundred evolvers tragically died there, simply because they were too eager, stirring up a large force to follow the extraterrestrial evolvers in their quest to eliminate Chu Feng. As a result, not a single one who came survived.
“Brother, are you okay?!” the Big Black Ox and the others shouted from a distance, standing worriedly before Immortal Mountain’s gate.
The area ahead was ablaze with lightning and thunder as Chu Feng underwent a terrifying heavenly tribulation. Below, people and horses cried out in utter chaos, enveloped by a surging aura of death.
Amidst the lightning and electric fire, the island became a true battlefield of carnage.
Chu Feng spoke, “I’m fine. Point out any weapons you fancy beforehand; I’ll try to leave them intact so we can collect them as treasures later!”
“Alright, I want the Sky God Race’s God-Slaying Spear; it looks promising!”
“The Xilin Race’s Demon Refining Bottle isn’t bad; we’ll keep it to refine the Xilin Race later!”
Clearly, the Northeast Tiger, Old Donkey, and others were connoisseurs, valuing those most powerful weapons, none of which were inferior to the earlier Green Demon Bow and Arrow.
These were the trump card weapons prepared by several races: the Brass Pagoda, God-Slaying Spear, Demon Refining Bottle, and Black Gourd!
“Good!” Chu Feng nodded amidst the lightning. Despite being disheveled and charred, his eyes still shone brightly as he stared down at those people.
“Old man of the Underworld Race, put down my Black Gourd! And you, old harridan from the Great Dream Pure Land, be careful not to damage my Brass Pagoda!”
When Chu Feng’s voice echoed down, the allied army’s organizers – the veteran powerhouses wielding their trump cards – were so enraged they were on the verge of collapse, all beside themselves with fury.
However, despite possessing secret treasures and such powerful weapons, they were completely unable to harm Chu Feng, trapped as they were by the domain.
Heavenly Fire Thunder Sound exploded close by, with raging fires engulfing the sky. But most terrifying were the domain symbols; once they entangled someone, it was a death sentence.
Someone screamed. After Chu Feng specifically targeted him, the old man of the Underworld Race holding the Black Gourd went insane, his body engulfed in flames. He was then torn apart by a divine chain constructed from domain symbols, dying tragically on the spot.
Dense, sawtooth-shaped symbols appeared, engulfing the woman from Great Dream Pure Land. Even her use of the Brass Pagoda for suppression proved futile, and she ultimately turned into a pile of ashes.
At the same time, the God-Slaying Spear fell to the ground as the veteran powerhouse of the Sky God Race perished.
Throughout the entire domain, fires blazed and symbols shimmered everywhere, becoming increasingly terrifying. Even those not specifically targeted by Chu Feng could no longer endure it and were howling in agony.
Before long, over six thousand of the nearly ten thousand soldiers had perished, leaving only a small fraction. This was a devastating blow. The evolvers of various races were terrified, struggling desperately to survive, but now, there was no chance.
“Break out, you damned little beast!”
At this point, even the two Golden Body level evolvers were anxious and incredibly agitated. They had attempted to break through several times but failed, looking severely disheveled, already covered in bloody spots, and their battle robes burned, glowing with fire.
“Will everyone perish here?” They were terrified, looking up at Chu Feng in the lightning, feeling as if they were facing an unparalleled demon king.
Beyond the domain, unease pervaded, as veteran figures from various races and some Golden Body level evolvers awaited news just outside Earth.
Even Saints were present.
The starry sea was also restless; many on the Primal Beast Platform had already heard that today, the extraterrestrial allied army would land on Immortal Mountain to completely annihilate Earth’s “unfriendly” evolvers.
“Hmm, total annihilation in one battle. It’s likely that those so-called great demons of Kunlun on Earth will be completely wiped out, not a single one left. If Chu Feng is there, he’s surely dead.”
A woman from the Spirit Race, clearly of no low status, chuckled softly. She thought of her clan member, Xu Chengxian, the Myriad Star Body, who would likely gain immense fortune on Immortal Mountain and become even more dazzling afterward.
“Yes, Earth is finished,” a Saint nodded. “After this battle, the last batch of seeds will be destroyed. This planet’s resurgence will only serve to benefit the descendants of various extraterrestrial races.”
Immortal Mountain was unique, shrouded in strange mists and mysterious domains that obscured heavenly secrets. Even Saints from beyond the domain could not see through it, nor could their Heavenly Eyes penetrate its veil.
Therefore, they were unaware of the current battle situation!
