Chapter 672: Ten Steps Kill One Person

A young boy arrived with a light, agile step, yet he radiated an unseen pressure.

Everyone present looked surprised. Who was audacious enough to come to the Chaotic Star Sea, right into the Celestial Race's backyard? All eyes were on him.

Chu Feng appeared to be in his mid-teens, with delicate features and pure, large eyes. He looked too young to be anything but harmless, yet he emanated killing intent as he stared at Luo Ming.

"Young man, this is no place for you to act wildly!" Before Luo Ming could react, someone else stepped forward, confronting Chu Feng to curry favor with the Celestial Race.

The speaker also looked young, in his twenties, with long brown hair flowing and eyes gleaming with purple light. He stood up tall.

In fact, everyone present was middle-aged or older. This was a gathering for cultivators at the Shaping Realm; there wouldn't be any truly young powerhouses here.

He continued, "Whose child are you? Where are your elders? Haven't they taught you to respect your seniors?"

He could clearly sense that Chu Feng was too young; the vibrant life force, bone age, and vital energy emanating from a person, all mixed together, were hard to fake.

"This has nothing to do with you. Go stand aside," Chu Feng said.

"Tell your elders to come out," the brown-haired man said, divine light shimmering in his purple eyes. He stared at Chu Feng, and a surge of overwhelming energy pressed forward.

"Why would I need elders to step in? I can kill Luo Ming by myself," Chu Feng calmly replied, holding the azure flying spear and pointing it at the brown-haired man from afar. "Don't try to suppress me with your energy; otherwise, you'll not only make a fool of yourself but also pay a bloody price."

The brown-haired man's face darkened. "Did you all hear that? A mere kid in his teens dares to act so presumptuously in front of us. What place is this? The inner sea of the Celestial Race! Young man, are you insane?"

As he spoke, he took a step forward, extending a hand and clawing forward. His palm and fingers glowed with streaks of auspicious light, exuding terrifying energy.

Bang!

Chu Feng, holding the azure flying spear, thrust forward. It was a very casual strike, without any dramatic flair, executed effortlessly and with little force.

The brown-haired man sneered. His large hand did not retreat as he began to employ a wondrous technique, with runes flowing and wrapping around his palm and fingers, intending to seize the spear and suppress Chu Feng.

However, something terrifying happened to him. The various symbols on his palm were instantly obliterated, and his energy barrier was pierced. With a soft pop, his palm became a bloody mess. It was pierced as easily as paper and then exploded into a mist of blood under the azure flying spear.

"A Saint Artifact?!" The brown-haired man recoiled, a chill running down his spine. Not only had his palm exploded, but his entire right arm was gone, destroyed by that spear.

It should be noted that the opponent hadn't even activated the flying spear; it was primarily because he had rushed forward himself that this outcome occurred. What kind of power would that blue flying spear unleash if it were activated?

Everyone turned their gazes, utterly shocked.

This was a Saint Artifact from Young Lady Xi's spaceship!

"Young man, you dare come to the inner sea of my Celestial Race and act wildly? Do you think you can run wild just because you have a Saint Artifact?!" Luo Ming stood up, feeling a slight unease.

Everyone else also rose, staring at this uninvited guest.

"Great Ancestor Luo Ran, please activate the domain!" Luo Ming said directly. Clearly, Scarlet Cloud Island was not an ordinary place; young prodigies often gathered here, and the island was protected by a domain.

Furthermore, there were experts on the island, such as Luo Ran, a Half-Saint master who was permanently stationed here.

"Luo Ming, is that all you've got? You see me coming and immediately resort to activating a domain and calling your great ancestor? Actually, I came here to kill you alone!" Chu Feng said, completely calm.

Everyone present looked surprised. A still very young boy, so arrogant and confident, dared to come alone to kill Luo Ming, a heaven-blessed prodigy!

Of course, everyone could see that this boy was no ordinary person; how could a child from an ordinary family possess a Saint Artifact?

Clang!

With a flick of his hand, Chu Feng threw the blue flying spear, and it stuck into the ground. "Come on," he said, "this young master won't use a Saint Artifact. Today, I'll kill you with my bare hands!"

"How dare you!" Luo Ming's page boy roared from behind him.

The page boy found it somewhat absurd. How could a mere teenager dare to be so arrogant as to threaten to kill Luo Ming, who was close to the Golden Body realm? Even the page boy was a year or two older than Chu Feng.

"You are a remnant!" Luo Ming said, staring at the azure flying spear on the ground, his heart sinking. His eyes deepened, and he took a deep breath, walking forward.

At the same time, he was secretly signaling to others. His page boy and others had already secretly contacted the outside world to report the situation.

However, those people's expressions changed. Whether it was their optical computers or other communication devices, they had lost contact with the outside world, as if isolated from the rest of the world.

"Luo Ming, you once boasted wildly that you would use Saint Fiery Bear's fur to make a pair of battle boots, acting so arrogant and unbridled. Do you have any last words?"

Chu Feng was in no hurry at all, slowly closing in.

"As expected, it's you remnants! Ancient Earth has already been destroyed, and insignificant characters like you won't amount to anything. You're destined to be annihilated sooner or later!" Luo Ming's face was grim. He knew that today's events would not end well and had no intention of lowering his stance, even though he was very worried that a Saint might have arrived secretly.

At this point, many people's expressions changed. Most of them were cultivators from the Celestial lineage and had close ties with the Celestial Race.

"I've come to seek justice for Saint Fiery Bear!" Chu Feng pressed forward.

"Just you? Are you really going to fight me alone?" A cold sneer appeared at the corner of Luo Ming's mouth.

"Yes, just me!" Chu Feng, exquisitely handsome, more beautiful than a girl, with his hair gently fluttering and his eyes incredibly clear.

"What nerve! A wet-behind-the-ears kid in his teens actually dares to barge into this gathering and act so wildly!" At this moment, another person spoke up, then added, "Hmm, or perhaps a pretty little girl!"

He was chuckling, his words audacious. His clan was a staunch ally of the Celestial Race, and he was an expert from the Flying Centipede Race, already a master of the Shaping Realm.

Chu Feng had been calm, but now his smile froze. At this stage, he hated nothing more than being told he looked like a girl.

"What kind of genius gathering is this? Looks more like a bunch of nobodies! You're all decades old with such meager achievements. No wonder you'll never amount to anything. This young master will show you today what true heaven-blessed talent looks like, and I'll crush you all!"

Chu Feng roared, leaped up, and pounced towards the expert from the Flying Centipede Race.

"Little brat, you dare be rude to me, still wet behind the ears? Go back to your mother's womb and drink milk!" The Flying Centipede laughed loudly, yet his eyes were incredibly cold.

A dark, gleaming long saber appeared in his hand, exuding a rancid smell. He swung it at Chu Feng. He spoke lightly, but he attacked with full force, intending to crush Chu Feng with his Shaping Realm power.

Swish!

A bright red kasaya with shimmering golden patterns appeared on Chu Feng. This was the Kasaya of Equality for All Beings, repaired by Chu Feng using his current domain techniques and various rare materials. It was even more advanced than before, capable of suppressing cultivators one or two realms higher than him.

This was also primarily because his strength had greatly increased recently; he was practically indistinguishable from a cultivator at the Nourishing Radiance Realm!

Chu Feng activated his breathing technique and used Resonance Art, immediately delivering a domineering punch. With a clang, he directly knocked the long saber away.

"Hmm, brat, this kasaya of yours is strange. Weren't you going to fight me fairly, alone? Why are you using crooked means?!" The Flying Centipede said this without blushing at all, scolding him with righteous indignation.

Chu Feng said, "You old fella at the Shaping Realm, how dare you question me like that? The so-called fair fight, alone, implies a contest between those of the same level. Let me show you how I would crush you if we were from the same era!"

With Uncle Ming's guidance, and after more than three months of rest, Chu Feng's visualization realm had reached grand completion. If he wished, he could instantly become a master of the Nourishing Radiance Realm. His current strength was incomparable to before.

He threw a punch, using Resonance Art and Spiral Art. His hands vibrated and trembled like a mountain torrent pouring down, making the Flying Centipede roar in fury, blood spurting from his mouth and nose.

He was incredibly unwilling. He was a powerhouse of the Shaping Realm, yet he was injured by a teenager.

"Little brat, die!" The Flying Centipede roared, discarded his saber, and soared into the air, transforming into a silver centipede with a pair of wings on its back. He used extreme speed to attack Chu Feng.

Unfortunately, he miscalculated. Chu Feng had mastered the Near-Far Steps, and his speed was even greater. He leaped into the void, circling him and launching attacks.

Bang, bang, bang...

Collision sounds echoed in mid-air. Finally, with a soft thud, the Flying Centipede screamed, his body shattering inch by inch. He was killed in mid-air, dying a tragic death.

Swish, swish, swish!

Before Chu Feng could land, at Luo Ming's signal, three more masters surged forward. All of them were at the Shaping Realm, and they collectively pounced on Chu Feng.

This time, Chu Feng was still bare-handed, absorbing and exhaling radiant light. With a clang, a large golden bell appeared outside his body. This was a technique he had evolved from the Twelve True Forms of Xingyi, refined and utilized after improvements through the Daoist Breathing Technique.

The three could not break through the bell's wall; instead, their own vital energy churned from the vibrations. The kasaya was at work, lowering their cultivation levels.

After several clashes and exchanges of blows, amidst soft pops, the three roared in helpless rage and finally exploded, utterly decimated by Chu Feng in mid-air!

"What kind of genius gathering is this? Looks more like a bunch of nobodies!" Chu Feng said disdainfully, landing on the ground.

Then, pointing at Luo Ming and the others, he said, "If we were born in the same era, in my eyes, you would all be worthless chickens and dogs!"

He continued, "Even now, without the Kasaya of Equality for All Beings, in a one-on-one life-and-death struggle, I might still be able to kill you! But I just want to see how weak you truly are at the same cultivation level!"

Such words were incredibly provocative. This was a group of cultivators with extraordinary achievements, who, with a few more years of cultivation, had hopes of reaching the Golden Body realm. Yet they were belittled and mocked by a teenager, which was humiliating.

"Are you seeking death?!"

"You insolent pup, you're too arrogant!"

The Celestial lineage forces shouted in rebuke.

"What, are you not convinced? I'm talking about all of you—you're all fakes, all trash!" Chu Feng sneered, then pointed at Luo Ming. "Get over here! Aren't you supposedly 'young and promising,' with unparalleled talent? Let me see how powerful you truly are!"

Luo Ming's expression was grim. He knew something big had happened today; the remnants had appeared on Scarlet Cloud Island in the Chaotic Star Sea, and this would absolutely not end well.

He sneered, "You're here for Saint Fiery Bear. He was just an old bear. Back then, he was stripped of his tendons and bones, and his flesh was eaten clean by Wei Heng and a Saint from my clan. What's unspeakable about that? In fact, I'm going to use his fur to make battle boots!"

Saying such words at this critical juncture was naturally intentional; he wanted to provoke Chu Feng. Sure enough, after seeing Chu Feng's tender young face change color, he decisively made his move. A golden rope appeared in his hand, which he flicked out; this was the Spirit-Binding Rope.

At this moment, a dark-red long saber appeared in Chu Feng's hand; he finally used a weapon. With a soft slice, he directly cut the Spirit-Binding Rope.

"You're Chu Feng?!" At this moment, Luo Ming was stunned. Upon seeing the saber, he immediately thought of that native from Earth. He had seen photos sent back by his clansmen, and this saber had left too deep an impression on him!

As he stared at Chu Feng, recognizing that his face vaguely resembled that person from Earth, his head instantly pounded. Had this native escaped Earth?

He knew a Saint must have helped him and was training this boy. Today, they were likely being used as practice, as targets to be cut down!

"What, he's Chu Feng?!"

"How is that possible? He's only in his teens?"

"A native from a barbaric planet already has this kind of combat power?!"

"All of you deserve to die!" Chu Feng swung his saber and charged forward.

He wanted to experience fighting these people and hone himself. Sooner or later, he would face an army of thousands; now was the perfect time to test his saber!

"Brat, you're seeking death!" A group of people rebuked, as some cultivators charged out from behind Luo Ming; they were all members of the island's permanent guard.

In addition, some of the experts who had come to the gathering also made their move, standing with Luo Ming and joining in to attack Chu Feng.

"All of you, die!"

Chu Feng pounced. In an instant, blood rained down and a foul wind blew. Wherever Chu Feng's saber went, no one could stop him. After he cut his way through, the guard unit was scattered and destroyed, and some of the gathering's attendees were also slain. He was now like a young tiger descending a mountain, charging into a pack of wolves, incomparably fierce.

One of Luo Ming's arms flew off, severed by the Reincarnation Saber, leaving him in immense pain. He had to sever another part of his body to prevent his entire being from being corroded and destroyed.

"So-called astonishing talent and young promise? Nothing but this!" Chu Feng scoffed.

He sliced off Luo Ming's head with a single stroke, sending it flying, while his headless body toppled to the ground, blood gushing out.

"Ah, no!" Luo Ming shrieked in a mixture of shock, rage, and profound fear. He truly didn't want to die, but there was nothing he could do now.

Chu Feng leaped forward, and with a downward slash, the head, already being corroded by the power of reincarnation, was split into two halves again. There was no way it could survive.

The others' bodies turned cold. This boy, who appeared to be only in his teens, was going on a rampage here, killing one person every ten steps. They were simply unable to resist him.

The so-called gathering of geniuses was truly nothing in front of this boy; it made them feel ashamed.

Thud, thud, thud...

Chu Feng cut a bloody path, leaving countless corpses behind him. The island's guard unit was completely scattered and then utterly wiped out.

Furthermore, over half of the attendees who had come for the gathering were killed or wounded, many of them beheaded by him!

When Chu Feng stopped, numerous corpses lay on the ground, numbering in the hundreds. The scene was somewhat terrifying, like a field of carnage!

Only a portion of the geniuses who attended the gathering but did not make a move survived.
