Chapter 634: Chu Feng Returns?

Chu Feng became increasingly convinced that the entire mountain was a secret artifact, a domain treasure that could change in size. It had been brought into the Land of Myriad Gods and deliberately set up to lure people into a trap.

What was more, he considered a grim possibility: this was a trap specifically designed for him, a domain master. Could someone have suspected he was still alive and laid this elaborate setup?

His eyes turned cold, and a palpable killing intent emanated from him.

He was now in deep trouble. Inside the mountain, everywhere was crystal clear, with symbols glittering and paths spreading like a spiderweb, leading in all directions. However, they were all dead ends; stepping onto any of them would surely lead to strangulation.

He had actually fallen into the secret domain artifact and was now trapped.

Chu Feng frowned, finding it much harder to escape than it had been to enter. Every path was a dead end, and a single misstep would plunge him into a meticulously designed death trap.

"Whoosh!"

As Chu Feng moved swiftly, hundreds of purple symbols inside the mountain core rose up, like blooming bauhinia flowers, then intertwined to form a large net that descended upon him.

He drew his Reincarnation Saber, slashing horizontally and vertically to shatter the purple energy runes.

Although Chu Feng possessed profound knowledge of domains, he often had to rely on brute force to break through, simply because there wasn't enough time to employ domain techniques.

Being inside a secret artifact that someone was actively manipulating made it far more dangerous than an ordinary domain. His life was constantly under threat.

This wasn't a passively triggered mechanism; it was being manually controlled.

"At least one domain master is secretly observing me," he thought. "I must kill him!"

Inside the mountain, Chu Feng triggered several massive explosions, sending energy clouds surging. Even he, despite his power, was covered in blood, having sustained considerable injuries.

Any other master-level domain researcher or powerful evolutionary would have long since perished.

His mastery of domains, combined with his sufficiently advanced evolutionary stage, was what allowed him to survive.

He cleared a safe zone, sat down cross-legged, and remained still, sensing his surroundings carefully. Golden light shimmered in his eyes as he subtly observed and gathered information.

He aimed to eliminate the hidden domain master, thereby resolving the entire predicament.

Then, Chu Feng was horrified. He sensed that this stone mountain was far from simple; it contained dozens of complete domains, clearly not the work of a single individual. The internal restrictions and runes were incredibly powerful, posing a deadly threat at every turn.

Disabling it would require a significant amount of time.

Chu Feng stood up, holding his Reincarnation Saber and taking out a stone box. He didn't want to waste any more time, so he prepared to use the remaining colorful flames—the Six Paths Reincarnation Fire—to incinerate a path forward.

"How interesting," said Luo Fu, the strongest successor of the Celestial Race, a faint, sinister smile on his face. "Chu Feng might not be dead? Then this time, I'll personally send him to his grave!" Luo Fu harbored endless animosity towards Chu Feng, as Chu Feng had killed his younger brother, Luo Yi, the Celestial Son, and had also slain a saint of their race, severely damaging the Celestial Race's prestige.

Beside him, a middle-aged man from the Xilin Race wore a chilling expression. The Xilin Race had taken the lead in setting up this secret domain artifact as a precaution, never imagining they might actually catch such a significant target!

Although they couldn't yet confirm if it was indeed Chu Feng, they had a strong premonition that it was true.

The strongest successor of the Underworld Race was shrouded in black mist, appearing as if from the netherworld, with only a pair of eyes glowing with a chilling, deathly aura.

He, too, smiled. "If it's truly him," he said, "then this will be interesting. We'll kill him again!"

Years ago, the Celestial Race had provided covert support when the Underworld Race's army invaded Earth. At a critical juncture, the Xilin Race had defected, allowing outsiders to enter Earth and engage in a bloody massacre.

It could be said that the Celestial Race, Underworld Race, and Xilin Race were the primary instigators behind the annihilation of ancient Earth's evolutionaries.

Nearby, Qin Luoyin, the successor of the Great Dream Pure Land, wore an indecisive expression. She couldn't fathom how Chu Feng had managed to escape. Under interrogation by a saint from her sect, she had admitted that Chu Feng was still alive when she left.

Now, it appeared he had indeed escaped alive.

Qin Luoyin also realized that the Great Dream Pure Land had likely notified the Celestial Race and the Xilin Race that Chu Feng was trapped in purgatory and not yet dead.

"Let's go, we'll enter and kill him," Luo Fu sneered. "Otherwise, if he gets out, he might vanish again. He can only be cornered within that domain artifact." He inwardly vowed to capture Chu Feng, stomp him underfoot, sever his head, and display it for all to see.

Inside the stone mountain, within the large domain artifact, Chu Feng didn't want to waste time. He feared that prolonged delays would lead to further complications.

Once the stone box was opened, the vibrant flames erupted, directly destroying the domain and incinerating all matter within the stone mountain. They carved out a large hole, intended to breach the exterior.

Simultaneously, he spotted a figure inside the artifact. He had activated his Fiery Golden Eyes, allowing him to see everything clearly.

In the distance, the person's heart pounded violently. He turned and tried to leave.

"You dare plot against me? Where do you think you're going!" Chu Feng roared, rushing forward with his saber. He used the Six Paths Reincarnation Fire to clear his path. This fire was incredibly effective for surprising powerful opponents, though someone prepared for it might be able to evade its effects.

However, with the paths blocked, the Reincarnation Fire proved incredibly effective for creating an escape route.

*Rip!*

The stone wall turned to magma, then evaporated, as various domain symbols were utterly annihilated!

Chu Feng ran like a bolt of lightning. Unobserved, he didn't force himself to use the "Shrinking Space to Inches" technique he had acquired from a divine son; instead, he directly employed "Heaven's End at Hand," as he was most proficient with it.

With a *boom*, the air exploded due to his immense speed. Holding the stone box in one hand and the Reincarnation Saber in the other, he shot across the distance, catching up to the domain master.

"You...it's really Chu Feng! Fiery Golden Eyes, Heaven's End at Hand...you..."

The man was terrified. Everyone had said Chu Feng died in purgatory, but he had just confirmed it was a rumor; the true individual was right before his eyes.

Since Chu Feng's identity was now exposed, he naturally wouldn't leave any witnesses. Confident in his ability to silence the man, he made no attempt to conceal his actions.

Domain masters were formidable, but when faced with an even stronger, peak-level domain master who was also a ruthless evolutionary capable of contending with the universe's top ten young powerhouses, a tragic outcome was inevitable for the domain master.

With a *bang*, Chu Feng caught up and struck the man with the flat of his saber, breaking the bones on half his body but deliberately leaving him alive.

"Tell me, who hired you for this?"

The domain master initially acted tough, even attempting to secretly manipulate the domain to deal with Chu Feng. Surrounding symbols lit up, discreetly but terrifyingly, and energy instantly erupted.

However, his efforts were in vain. Chu Feng's domain mastery was far more terrifying. Dozens of magnets flew out, stabilizing the area. Then, Chu Feng leapt up and delivered a kick that shattered the man's jaw and knocked out all his teeth, leaving him screaming in agony.

The domain master was filled with regret. He had taken on the Xilin Race's commission, never expecting to encounter a man on Earth many times younger than him, yet whose domain techniques far surpassed his own.

He revealed everything: the Xilin Race, Celestial Race, and Underworld Race were the main instigators, with the Great Dream Pure Land also invited to participate in the setup.

"They feared you hadn't died, so they set up this trap as a test, never expecting you'd actually be alive!"

Finally, Chu Feng granted him a swift end. He put away his Reincarnation Saber and used a golden great hammer to smash the man into a bloody mist, killing him instantly.

"Since you confessed readily, I won't use the Reincarnation Saber."

"Oh no!" Just then, as Luo Fu, the Underworld Race successor, Qin Luoyin, and others stepped into the stone mountain, the Xilin Race middle-aged man's expression changed dramatically. "Retreat!" he commanded. "This domain artifact is disintegrating; the person inside is about to escape!"

*Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...*

They all leapt out. Around them stood a group of elders, numbering in the dozens, all senior figures from the four major orthodoxies.

"Since this artifact is going to be destroyed anyway, let's make sure it's utterly annihilated!" the Xilin Race middle-aged man muttered to himself. He then threw out one mysterious magnetic stone after another.

He, too, was a domain master, and he was now acting to detonate the massive domain artifact that was the stone mountain.

Finally, the stone mountain glowed, becoming crystalline and almost transparent before exploding with a deafening roar, completely disintegrating.

It happened too suddenly. Chu Feng let out a muffled groan, covered in blood, as he was sent flying out. He had narrowly escaped being killed by the Xilin Race's domain master's ruthless methods.

Fortunately, he was clad in the Undying Divine Silkworm Robe, carried Daoist Duobao's longsword, and wore Xu Chengxian's Starry Sky Mother Gold Bracelet, among other artifacts. He possessed a multitude of secret treasures, each serving as protection.

All of them had been plundered from various heaven's chosen.

Even in his inconspicuous spots, he had secret artifacts. For instance, a hairpin from Ying Zhexian was woven into his hair, which had once withstood a dozen of his Golden Lightning Hammer strikes.

Similarly, he wore Ying Xiaoxiao's star-diamond necklace around his neck, capable of drawing in stellar energy for defense.

Even with all this protection, Chu Feng was covered in blood, severely injured by the explosion.

Of course, any other individual, even one a major realm above the Visualization stage, would most likely have died. The scene after the massive domain artifact exploded was simply too terrifying.

With a *bang*, Chu Feng was flung out amidst the surging energy and exploding light, crashing heavily onto the ground and creating a massive crater.

Even so, the bronze mask on his face remained intact. This was because, ever stylish, he had two peacock feathers tucked into his hair at his temples, which also concealed a pair of earrings from Ying Zhexian. These emitted divine light, protecting his head and face.

"Chu Feng, you certainly have nine lives! You didn't die in purgatory, but today I'll personally send you to hell! Go, roll into the netherworld, and let me send you off once more!" Luo Fu of the Celestial Race roared. His actions were faster than his words; he had already attacked like a bolt of lightning, his Celestial Saber cleaving down towards Chu Feng.

"Clang!"

Dazzling light erupted from the crater, accompanied by a metallic shriek that threatened to tear eardrums. Chu Feng, wielding his golden great hammer, shot upward, clashing head-on with the Celestial Saber. The sheer force of the collision was immense, causing the ground for miles around to sink and black cracks to spread like a terrifying spiderweb.

The Underworld Divine Son spoke with an air of detached superiority, deliberately provoking Chu Feng. "Heh heh, Chu Feng, you certainly have a tenacious life, escaping purgatory. But this is where it ends. My ancestors once replaced the evolutionaries on this star, leading my race to become the eleventh strongest in the universe. Today, I will be the one to bury you, reenacting the past. This planet should have met its end long ago."

He activated the Underworld Breathing Technique. Instantly, the area filled with death qi, black mist surged, and his entire being was enveloped in darkness. Wielding a black spear, he thrust it ruthlessly and decisively towards Chu Feng's head.

Without a word, Chu Feng unleashed his full power, bringing down the Starry Sky Mother Gold Bracelet with a *boom* directly onto the Underworld Divine Son.

Sparks flew, and then, with a *crack*, the spearhead shattered. How could it possibly withstand a weapon forged from Starry Sky Mother Gold?

"Hand it over!" the Underworld Divine Son snarled savagely, attempting to snatch the bracelet.

However, the Starry Sky Mother Gold Bracelet rotated, emitting terrifying energy that formed a black hole, threatening to engulf him.

"Kill!"

Luo Fu attacked, his Celestial Saber striking again, cleaving towards the black hole.

In that single instant, the three masters exchanged dozens, if not hundreds, of blows. Their movements were incredibly fast, their power immense; they were all among the universe's most formidable young experts.

"Chu Feng, just because you're silent, do you think we don't know you've returned?!" the Underworld Divine Son shouted.

"Attack him together and kill him!" the Xilin Race middle-aged man shouted from a distance, ordering the dozens of elders to join the fray.

Simultaneously, he yelled, shouting to the distant crowd, "The Bronze Masked Bandit is here! Do you know who he is? He is... Devil Chu!"

Though unconfirmed, he had already shouted it out. The Xilin Race's middle-aged man had a vicious glint in his eyes, intending to leverage everyone's power to slay Chu Feng and eliminate this menace.

"Heh heh..." Chu Feng chuckled. He made no statement, neither confirming nor denying if he was Chu Feng, and simply launched a fierce attack, engaging them in battle.

In particular, when the dozens of elders rushed forward, it presented Chu Feng with an opportunity for area-of-effect damage. The Starry Sky Mother Gold Bracelet vibrated, then, with a *hum*, it spun outward, *popping* as it consecutively shattered four elders at the peak of the Visualization realm, turning them into blood mist.

Furthermore, as the bracelet spun, a black hole formed within its core, swallowing five more elders. With a slight mental tremor from Chu Feng, those swallowed screamed, disintegrating inch by inch, meeting a horrific end.

Simultaneously, he drew his Reincarnation Saber, ready to fight Luo Fu, the Underworld Divine Son, and the others to the death.

"Is it really him?" Qin Luoyin trembled, her emotions complex. A small life within her womb, which she had never been able to refine, was undeniably linked to that man.

As she drew closer, intense fluctuations erupted from her abdomen, causing her to stagger. She instinctively clutched her lower belly, halting her movements.

At that moment, the young Daoist priest shrieked excitedly, "Daoist Lord, I feel it! The call of my bloodline! This must be my old man, he's finally here! Is he coming to save me? Old man, Daoist Lord misses you! Hurry and subdue this dependable mother and protect your son, who is destined to become the universe's foremost battle deity!"

His excitement caused such a commotion that Qin Luoyin repeatedly stumbled backward, her face flushing with embarrassment.

Of course, if the Daoist priest knew that it was this "old man" who had hit him with a brick in front of the Reincarnation Cave and stolen his black talisman paper, he'd probably be cursing his mother – and certainly his father – before fighting him to the death.

"Where is the Bronze Masked Bandit?" Princess Yuan Yuan of the Primordial Demon Race was the first to charge forward.

"Is that Chu Feng?!" The Vermillion Bird Fairy, in a fiery red gown, arrived swiftly through the air, gasping in disbelief and profound skepticism.

"No way! That wicked, amoral man in the bronze mask is my favorite arch-devil, Chu Feng? I don't believe it!" Ying Xiaoxiao exclaimed, appearing alongside her sister.

The women glared at Chu Feng with hostile eyes. The belts he wore were too conspicuous—not just ostentatious, but a silent provocation that made them grit their teeth.

As for the others, many also rushed in.

"Chu Feng? I've always wanted to meet you. Let me try!" The Primal Magnetic Sacred Body descended from the sky, enveloped in surging silver vital energy.

Just then, someone exclaimed, as the Tribulation-Free Divine Body also made an appearance.

And after appearing, the Tribulation-Free Divine Body remained silent, suddenly ambushing Chu Feng from behind, aiming for a single, fatal blow!
