Chapter 620: Like a Father Beating His Son

Zhou Yitian's body twitched and trembled as if struck by electricity, a reaction to intense excitement.

A single palm strike sent the renowned Night Demon flying sideways, bleeding profusely from his mouth and nose, even losing several teeth. It was an incredibly powerful blow. He had never witnessed such a dominant figure, feeling that this person was even more formidable than Chu Feng used to be. To render a young expert, ranked among the top hundred in the universe, so utterly miserable with just a casual gesture was truly astonishing.

Behind them, Xia Qianyu and the rest of the film crew were equally stunned, feeling a jolt from head to toe. This spectacle was far more shocking than any movie they had ever filmed, stirring their emotions intensely. They whispered in awe, wondering about the origin of this formidable individual. If this footage were to leak, it would undoubtedly cause a massive stir, likely unsettling young powerhouses from various extraterrestrial races.

"Ah..."

The Night Demon crashed into a mountain peak, causing the ground to shake violently. Ancient trees toppled, the earth cracked, and numerous large rocks tumbled down the slope. Enraged and humiliated, he flipped over and sprang to his feet. His long red hair billowed and pulsed like flames, and his eyes emitted astonishing beams of light, like two scorching bolts of lightning, a truly terrifying sight.

The Night Demon came to his senses, shaking off the terrifying state of being trapped in a cycle of reincarnation. A deep tremor went through him, realizing the absolute power of this opponent. Yet, he was equally consumed by fury; to be slapped so decisively the moment battle began was an unbearable humiliation! Not just this stranger, but even against the likes of the Buddha Child, Invincible Ying, the Primordial Magnetic Holy Body, or the Destiny Immortal Body, he had never been so utterly outmatched. Who dared to be so presumptuous, to simply walk up and slap him so forcefully!

This was beyond endurance. His eyes blazed, and all 36,000 pores on his body opened, spewing black energy that carried a faint aura of the underworld. Naturally, he dared not employ that secret technique again; one attempt was sufficient. He now understood that trying to surprise an opponent with a powerful spirit-devouring attack was utterly useless and would only result in him being brutally overpowered. Normally, his spirit devour technique was unfailingly effective against others, causing even the most formidable prodigies across an entire galaxy to die resentfully and inexplicably. Yet today, he had met such a formidable adversary.

"Die!"

The Night Demon roared like a monarch of the night. His body was shrouded in black mist, and black energy erupted from his pores, engulfing the immediate vicinity and making him appear as if he stood within a black hole. He unleashed a punch like a black galaxy, deafening and sweeping through the void, utterly breathtaking. To be fair, this individual was exceptionally powerful and possessed unique abilities.

Had this been Chu Feng before he was trapped in the Purgatory Dimension, defeating such an enemy would have required considerable effort. However, Chu Feng had traversed the path of reincarnation, gleaned profound insights into countless fist and sword techniques outside the City of Death, and experienced immense personal growth. Moreover, upon his return, he had undergone the heavenly tribulation, causing his strength to surge. Now, with a dramatically enhanced physique and overall capabilities, Chu Feng remained remarkably calm.

Chu Feng remained seated atop the Great Green Ox, merely raising a single palm. With a simple, yet divinely imposing strike, it glowed with a faint golden light as it pressed downward, causing the void to rumble. Adding to the awe, purple energy surged for over twenty miles above his head. The Great Green Ox beneath him, with its sleek fur and commanding presence, had just trampled a Saint Child to death. Seated upon it, Chu Feng truly resembled a divine being.

Boom!

The void exploded, and the Night Demon roared. His full-power punch was indeed fearsome, making the very space seem to collapse and violently distort. Light dimmed, the air detonated, and terrifying white currents sprayed outwards, far denser than the exhaust trails of several jet aircraft combined. Yet, this formidable punch was effortlessly neutralized by Chu Feng's pale golden palm. The golden symbols etched into his palm shone brilliantly, imbued with an indestructible force.

The Night Demon's fist throbbed with excruciating pain, as if he had struck a demonic mountain forged from rare mother gold. He couldn't move it; the surface of his fist felt like it would split open. With a muffled thud, Chu Feng gently closed his hand, seizing the Night Demon's fist with the intent to crush it and disable his right hand.

At this moment, Chu Feng allowed a faint smile to cross his lips. He had confirmed that the special symbols copied from the black talisman paper were indeed extraordinary and defied common understanding. These symbols were not only effective against spiritual entities and souls, nullifying opponents' spiritual devouring abilities, but they also proved astonishingly potent in physical combat.

"Ah..."

The Night Demon roared, his fist erupting with sudden force. His arm trembled, emitting terrifying black ripples as he attempted to shatter Chu Feng's pale golden hand. However, he was simultaneously shocked and enraged. With his fist trapped, not only could he not shake off that formidable palm, but his entire fist was throbbing as if it would break apart. Finally, he darted away like lightning, his right hand a bloody mess. Using bone manipulation and other flexible techniques, he barely managed to escape Chu Feng's grip, but his right fist was nearly crippled, its bones already fractured.

Just then, Chu Feng leaped through the air, no longer moving leisurely. He abruptly vanished from his spot, as if employing a "Shrinking the Ground into Inches" technique, instantly reappearing directly in front of the Night Demon. This time, Chu Feng initiated the attack. His right hand expanded, and his arm elongated. His palm, like a massive golden millstone, rapidly pressed down from above, accompanied by the sounds of wind and thunder and radiating ten thousand golden lights. It was incredibly fast, a genuine "Shrinking the Ground into Inches" technique, leaving no room for defense.

Having previously "dealt with" so many Saint Children, Chu Feng had naturally acquired various secret techniques. This particular "Ground Shrinking" technique was recorded in a fragmented scripture he had obtained, sharing remarkable similarities with the "Horizon's Edge is Within Reach" ability. Given his mastery of "Horizon's Edge is Within Reach," executing the "Shrinking the Ground into Inches" technique was remarkably easy for him.

"You..."

The Night Demon's expression changed. Unable to evade, he could only meet the attack head-on. His hands transformed into palm prints, forcefully striking upwards. Black energy erupted like a volcanic eruption, a dark "lava" surging and boiling skyward. Unfortunately, even with both palms striking together, he couldn't withstand Chu Feng's colossal descending hand. The millstone-like golden palm print, surging with vital energy, twisted the very void, generating a thunderous boom like crashing lightning, causing nearby mountaintops to tremble violently.

The Night Demon coughed up large gouts of blood, his arms throbbing with pain as if broken. He nearly collapsed to the ground, his body almost giving out. However, using this brief moment of resistance, he managed to gain a sliver of time. Engulfing himself in burning black energy, he retreated, a chill running down his spine at the thought of facing such a terrifying and mysterious foe. Nevertheless, the golden hand in the void was too swift. With a mere flick, it pressed down again, this time enveloping his body and sending him hurtling sideways.

His face, in particular, was struck by the golden hand. The Night Demon shrieked, filled with resentment. Blood gushed from his mouth and nose, his face contorted; he had nearly had his jaw broken, and this time, over a dozen teeth fell out. Simultaneously, his entire body was wracked with intense pain. This time, it wasn't just his face that bore the brunt; other parts of his body felt as if they had been struck by an ancient colossal ox, his very torso threatening to break apart and disintegrate. He plunged downward like a kite with a broken string, tumbling headfirst, blood splattering in mid-air.

Behind them, Zhou Yitian, Xia Qianyu, and the others were dumbfounded. Where did this master come from? He was simply too incredible, dispatching the Night Demon so effortlessly? They could barely believe their eyes! Not only them, but even the minor demons from Dragon and Tiger Mountain and the few surviving Saint Children felt their scalps prickle with a chilling sense of dread. This master was exceedingly powerful, terrifyingly so. The scene was akin to a father playfully toying with his child; they were simply not in the same league. Despite his immense reputation, the Night Demon was being casually thrashed. Once news of this spread, the entire starry sky would be violently shaken. It was like a cosmic hurricane, enough to alarm young experts from all races. This battle was truly chilling.

Boom!

The next moment, Chu Feng struck again. His right arm elongated, like a golden galaxy descending. His right palm glowed as if it were the hand of a Buddha, and a golden Five Elements Mountain descended, suppressing everything in its path. The Night Demon was enraged and humiliated, yet utterly helpless. Seeing the colossal golden palm, like a descending galaxy, bearing down from the sky, his heart turned to ice.

"Friend, let's talk this over, stop!" he roared.

A hint of indifference touched Chu Feng's lips as he ignored the plea. Earlier, when he had calmly inquired, this individual had been utterly arrogant, labeling him a "native" and declaring that even if Chu Feng resurrected, he would still kneel and be slaughtered. Now, finding himself outmatched, he was suddenly soft-spoken. There was no such easy way out. Thus, he paid no heed and struck downwards. Golden symbols of reincarnation flashed in his palm, a terrifying aura permeated the air, and his palm and fingers were like immense, boundless mountains.

With a resounding thud, the Night Demon screamed. This time, both his arms were completely shattered, dangling limply. He became utterly dispirited, almost collapsing to the ground from Chu Feng's slap, his body bloody and unable to stand.

"Stop, friend, I surrender! Ask whatever you wish, I will tell you everything I know!" the Night Demon pleaded.

With a resounding slap, Chu Feng struck him again with a backhand. This blow sent him hurtling sideways, his face nearly exploding, and all his remaining teeth finally fell out, mixed with blood. It's said one should avoid hitting a person's face, but Chu Feng disregarded this, specifically aiming for his opponent's countenance. Such individuals needed to be beaten until they were utterly terrified, at which point they would willingly confess everything.

"You..." The Night Demon was overcome with extreme shame and rage. After all, he was a peerless genius ranked among the top hundred in the universe, yet today he suffered such profound humiliation—a first in his life. He speculated, was this the Destiny Immortal Body, the Divine Glazed Golden Body, or perhaps the Great Evolution Battle Body? The power was outrageously formidable. Someone as mighty as himself was utterly incapable of retaliating, suppressed for the entire duration.

"Are you the Feathered Divine Body, or the Dao Bone Immortal Body?" he asked, desperate to uncover Chu Feng's identity.

"I am merely a mortal body," Chu Feng finally spoke, "but it is more than enough to handle you."

The Night Demon coughed up blood. How could such an immensely powerful and formidable individual have never been heard of before? And by the looks of it, he seemed to be a native evolutionist, born and raised right here on Earth.

"Friend, isn't this enough? Aren't you taking it too far if you continue?" the Night Demon spoke, his gaze dim. He was truly terrified. Facing such a formidable individual, he felt it himself: it was truly like a father disciplining his son. The humiliation was immense; the disparity in power was extraordinary.

"Bellow!"

At that moment, the Great Green Ox that Chu Feng had materialized moved. Its fur gleaming brilliantly, it appeared instantly as if employing the "Shrinking the Ground into Inches" technique. Its four hooves rose, and with a resounding thud, it stomped the Night Demon underfoot, shattering his bones and causing him to cough up blood repeatedly.

"Damn it... this is utterly humiliating!" The Night Demon was wracked with pain and felt incredibly wronged. This was an asymmetrical battle; he was vastly inferior to his opponent, a monster who had seemingly appeared from nowhere.

"Luoshen, quickly come to Dragon and Tiger Mountain, come see a living god!" In the distance, Xia Qianyu lowered her voice as she contacted the outside world, speaking to Jiang Luoshen: "A formidable person has appeared here; he just effortlessly swatted down the previously unrivaled Night Demon on Earth. Come quickly and see this!"
