Chapter 584: Impending Storm

Upon waking from his drunken stupor, Chu Feng immediately learned that a group of elite young powerhouses, including Daoist and Buddhist scions, and many other notable figures of this generation from across the cosmos, had arrived. He also recalled that in his inebriated state, he had agreed to a decisive battle with Qin Luoyin and declared her "not for sale."

A slight blush crept onto his face. Drinking truly led to trouble; acting so recklessly and openly vowing to make Qin Luoyin his personal maid was undeniably painting a target on his back. While action was possible, announcing it beforehand was merely inviting hostility. Everyone knew that Qin Luoyin, the successor of the Great Dream Pure Land, commanded immense popularity, with her every word and deed meticulously scrutinized. It was almost certain that a throng of fervent young individuals would now rally to her defense.

As expected, the moment Chu Feng logged into the Primordial Beast Platform, he was swamped by an avalanche of condemnations. Countless messages, ranging from intimidation and threats to curses, filled his inbox. "What in the world?!" Chu Feng pinched his jaw, realizing he had truly stirred a hornet's nest.

Even though he was now a notable figure, having successfully slain a Saint—a feat known to all races—he was still no match for the vast and fervent legions of Qin Luoyin's admirers. As Chu Feng scrolled through the messages, which were filled with denunciations, taunts, and provocations, his expression instantly darkened. He could clearly see that Qin Luoyin embodied the typical goddess persona, with countless admirers and supporters across the starry skies.

Then, someone discovered a text message posted by Chu Feng, which immediately ignited public fury. The message read: "Please call me the Terminator (Goddess)." This was a quintessential "asking for it" provocation. When Chu Feng himself saw it, his face turned green. He was certain he hadn't made a mistake or posted that comment. What was happening? Such a statement was undeniably a direct response to his detractors, fueling the collective outrage.

Just then, Chu Feng spotted Ouyang Feng, looking shifty, with his frog belly protruding and a sly grin on his face, holding a light-brain device. Chu Feng silently crept closer. His face immediately darkened when he saw the golden account Ouyang the Toad was logged into: "How Lonely It Is To Be Invincible."

"I'll beat you to death!" Chu Feng seized him and began to thrash him.

"Ow, ow, I made a mistake! Login error, I accidentally logged into your account!" the toad yelped.

Everyone knew that the golden account "How Lonely It Is To Be Invincible" belonged to Chu Feng—a classic "asking for a beating" handle. Yet, to date, he remained undefeated, barely justifying the audacious title. As Chu Feng thrashed the toad, continuous croaking echoed across Dragon Tiger Mountain. The toad's spittle streamed like torrential rain, but it had no effect on Chu Feng, who continued to deliver a painful beating.

"Damn it, I couldn't stand it!" Ouyang Feng protested. "Seeing them condemn you, ganging up on you, that's why I responded. It was for your own good, to get them off your back!" Ouyang Feng, still defiant, continued to yell.

"Not bad, that reply was quite imposing," the Northeast Tiger chimed in, shaking his square head and large ears, his eyes wide like brass bells.

Chu Feng's face grew progressively darker. "This is too vulgar," he stated. "And you're making enemies for me! I'm about to become the public enemy of all young men."

That day, Chu Feng's provocative reply ignited a firestorm of discussion. He then live-streamed a video of himself beating the toad, attempting to explain the situation, but the more he clarified, the worse it seemed to get.

"All-Heaven Express, I'm shipping divine sons and saintesses!" Chu Feng let out a long howl. To divert his attention, he personally packed the divine sons and saintesses, shipping them one by one from the folded space deep within Dragon Tiger Mountain. He had already inquired with the All-Heaven Wormhole Company. As a silver VIP, he had the authority to confirm that those families had indeed shipped the Six Paths Reincarnation Pills, Heavenly God Liquid, and other requested items. Consequently, he began to ship his end of the bargain.

Zi Luan, Yuan Mo, Zhao Qing, Li Feng, Zhan He, and others assisted him in sending off over two hundred divine sons and saintesses.

"Farewell, everyone!"

"Safe travels. We won't see you out."

The Old Donkey, the Northeast Tiger, the Big Black Ox, and others watched with keen interest, even stepping forward to lend a hand.

Chu Feng said, "Everyone, just imagine the future. When we meet again among the stars someday, we will surely be filled with countless emotions."

"Countless emotions," they thought sarcastically. All the divine sons and saintesses felt a mix of grief and indignation; being mailed back to their homes in such a manner was utterly humiliating.

"I have a dream," Chu Feng declared. "To sell every single divine son and saintess who entered Earth. Then, one day, when I step into the starry sky, I'll meet familiar faces everywhere. At that point, truly, 'who in the world will not know me!'" Chu Feng, flaunting his success, effectively ignited widespread fury. The divine sons and saintesses being shipped, along with the major orthodoxies across the starry sky, fixed their glowing green eyes on him, their breathing quickening. "One day," he continued, "I'll look back and suddenly realize that the future strongest individuals of every planet were once my captives. That feeling must be quite satisfying."

After these detestable words were uttered, a cacophony erupted, a veritable din of voices filling both Earth's folded space and the vast cosmic expanse.

"You've let me go this time, but next time, I'll surely take your head," declared Luo Yi, the young god of the Heavenly God Clan, his eyes cold and menacing as he made a final threat to Chu Feng before departing.

*Thump, thump, thump...*

As a result, he received a brutal beating, nearly falling apart, covered in blood, with broken bones and torn sinews.

"You, having lost to me once, need not dwell on it further," Chu Feng scoffed. "Since I dare to let you go, you will never again be considered my opponent. You are merely an ant."

Hearing Chu Feng's words, Luo Yi coughed up blood. Such arrogance was unbearable. He was accustomed to looking down on others; to be so utterly dismissed today left him feeling profoundly wretched. Before being shipped off, he endured several kicks from the Old Donkey's hooves, leaving him with blackened eyes, and was then profusely spat upon by the toad. He departed, filled with sorrow and indignation.

Soon after, the All-Heaven Wormhole Company notified Chu Feng that, due to his large-scale shipment of "valuable items" such as divine sons and saintesses, he had officially been upgraded to a Platinum VIP.

"Are there any benefits?" Chu Feng inquired.

"Yes," came the reply. "In the future, when we establish new routes—for instance, paths leading to Hell, the Forbidden Zone of Gods, the Chaos Demonic Beast Mother Nest, or shattered universes—you will receive advance notice and the opportunity to be among the first to experience them."

"I respectfully decline," Chu Feng replied. "I have no desire to be a guinea pig."

"We also offer other services," the representative continued. "For example, should you have a request, and are willing to pay the price, we can transport you to any location in the shortest possible time!"

"Such as?" Chu Feng pressed.

"Should you find yourself pursued and in a desperate situation," the representative explained, "if you possess sufficient cosmic coins, you can summon us immediately. We can then instantly open a super wormhole for your rapid escape. Only Platinum VIPs receive this exclusive treatment, and their requests are prioritized for immediate processing."

Chu Feng's eyes immediately lit up upon hearing this. Recognizing its practicality, he eagerly inquired for more details.

In the days that followed, batches of the Six Paths Reincarnation Pills began to arrive. Chu Feng had requested prompt delivery, so one consignment arrived exceptionally quickly, evidently facilitated by a super wormhole. Soon after, the Heavenly God Liquid from the Heavenly God Clan also arrived. Dragon Tiger Mountain erupted in cheers, celebrating jubilantly.

"Chu Feng," Jiang Luoshen's sudden call announced, "someone is inquiring about you through Bodhi Gene, trying to ascertain every detail about you from all angles. This is a deliberate investigation targeting you; you must be careful." Subsequently, Du Huaijin (Thousand-Mile Eyes), Ouyang Qing (Wind-Hearing Ear), and Ye Qingrou also contacted him immediately.

"Boss," they warned, "someone is trying to understand your temperament, hobbies, and daily habits. They want to figure you out completely. You must be careful!" Even his university classmates, Su Lingxi and Ye Xuan, contacted him, informing him that people were asking questions about him. It was important to note that Chu Feng had privately advised them to minimize contact recently, citing his numerous enemies and his fear of implicating them. He was particularly concerned for his university classmates, most of whom were not extraordinary individuals, and had preemptively warned them about potential repercussions. Yet, despite his precautions, people were now making contact with them.

Chu Feng sensed a storm brewing; this was clearly an intelligence-gathering operation aimed directly at him.

"They want to understand you thoroughly," the Big Black Ox said gravely. "From your personality to your habits, they might even deduce your tendencies on the path of evolution—for instance, your decisiveness in attacks, your ability to adapt to feints, and so on." The Yellow Ox, the Old Donkey, and the others all wore solemn expressions, sensing a stifling atmosphere, as if a storm was on the horizon.

"Is the Great Dream Pure Land gathering information on me?" Chu Feng frowned. He was on the verge of a decisive battle with Qin Luoyin; was this orthodox lineage making various preparations?

"It could also be the Heavenly God Clan, Underworld Clan, Xilin Clan, or others!" the Yellow Ox added.

The atmosphere on Dragon Tiger Mountain grew increasingly somber. Chu Feng stood up and began pacing back and forth. Everyone knew that the Heavenly God Clan and the Underworld Clan would never let things go. They were bound to retaliate and strike a fatal blow at Chu Feng. Was this extensive investigation into him their doing?

"Chu Feng, you must be careful this time. Don't falter in the decisive battle!" The entire group grew exceptionally serious, no longer capable of lighthearted banter.

Chu Feng calmed his mind, sat cross-legged, and circulated his breathing technique, silently adjusting himself to an optimal state. His mind and body became clear. Vaguely, he sensed an approaching pressure, like an ancient demonic mountain threatening to crush his soul, causing his heart to pound. "It seems something significant truly might happen this time," he murmured with profound solemnity.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye. Throughout this period, Chu Feng had been meditating, striving to reach his peak state. When the appointed time arrived, he set off for Kunlun Mountain, accompanied by the Yellow Ox, Ouyang Feng, and others.

Meanwhile, someone else, just as solemn as Chu Feng, had been intently observing the activity around Kunlun and Chu Feng's movements: Yu Chi Kong. He muttered to himself, "Earth's pseudo-son, just how strong are you? Today, the truth will be revealed. We'll see if you possess divine favor and if you are fated for a long life. It all hinges on this day!"

In fact, even as Chu Feng meditated on Dragon Tiger Mountain, Kunlun was already teeming with people. Far too many had arrived, all eager to witness the decisive battle between Qin Luoyin—whose beauty and strength were equally exceptional under the starry sky—and Chu Feng.

"Kunlun is truly an ideal location for decisive battles," someone remarked. "It was so in ancient times, and it remains so in this era. Many glorious conflicts have unfolded here." Someone spoke up, and was immediately recognized as a notable figure, one capable of ranking among the top twenty young masters in the universe. Such a ranking was truly formidable. Given the vastness of the cosmos, an evolutionist within the top twenty was undeniably a prodigy of their generation.

Subsequently, more renowned figures made their appearance. "Ah, Ying Wudi!" someone exclaimed. "I see the strongest successor of the Sub-Immortal Race, one of the most powerful among the universe's young generation!"

"The Prince of the Primordial Demon Race has arrived! What a terrifying aura! He likely possesses the strength to contend for the title of the strongest young individual, perhaps even being the preeminent figure under the starry sky within this generation!"

Kunlun could not remain calm. Contingents from all factions had arrived. Upon arriving, Chu Feng felt an increasing weight on his heart. He became extremely vigilant, his expression profoundly solemn.

In the distance, a dazzling blue carriage, pulled by four dragon-scaled celestial horses, swept across the sky, resplendent with light. Qin Luoyin had arrived!
