Chapter 417: All Stars Supporting the Moon

The soil near the Supreme Octadic Furnace was light purple with a slight metallic sheen, often radiating heat from the furnace. Though no trees grew there, the area was far from lifeless.

Chu Feng hovered in mid-air, his body gleaming like flawless divine glass and radiating a subtle brilliance. He felt an immense, explosive power coursing through him—a truly exquisite sensation.

He stretched his limbs, his vital energy surging like an ocean. With a mere flick of his wrist, a brown stone weighing tens of thousands of pounds flew up from the ground into his palm, which he then powerfully hurled away.

The stone broke the sound barrier, instantly vanishing and leaving behind only a faint wisp of mist.

Many onlookers nearby were astonished, sensing the terrifying power behind that throw. A stone weighing tens of thousands of pounds had simply vanished from sight!

Both the Earth's evolutionaries and the extraterrestrial beings present were utterly stunned.

At their level of evolution, lifting such a heavy object wasn't impossible, but to hurl it with such force that it disappeared into the distant mountain range was truly astonishing.

It wasn't a mere sandbag, but a massive brown rock weighing tens of thousands of pounds, completely gone in a single throw—it was quite unsettling!

It was no less impressive than the legend of Sakyamuni throwing an elephant.

Chu Feng was very pleased, reveling in his newfound power. For a moment, he felt as though he could uproot mountains or capture ancient savage dragons.

Suddenly, Chu Feng manifested a pair of luminous energy wings on his back and shot away at incredible speed. With a whoosh, sacred light erupted as he streaked past a stone mountain, his wings expelling bursts of energy.

*Crack!*

The stone mountain was cleanly severed in half, its upper portion tumbling down.

The brilliant energy wings, formed from raw power, now seemed like a divine blade, capable of slicing through stone mountains.

With a *whoosh*, Chu Feng flew back and landed on the ground.

The glow around his waist faded, and the pair of luminous wings vanished. These were merely projections of highly concentrated energy from his kidneys, not actual wings.

Chu Feng's body exuded a faint fragrance. His physique was still undergoing transformation, his cellular activity continued to strengthen, and his entire being was pure and untainted.

The area was bustling with activity. Many figures approached Chu Feng eagerly, offering their greetings.

"Brother Chu Feng’s strength is astonishing; no wonder he has consistently performed miracles," remarked Qi Honglin, a high-ranking official from the Pre-Qin Research Institute, who had personally arrived and now stood there, his face wreathed in smiles.

Many people wore complex expressions, especially those associated with the powerful syndicates. They understood that Chu Feng's ascent was unstoppable; he had actually evolved to the Ninth Shackle stage!

It was well known that many of the entities relied upon by the syndicates were at a similar level, and even if slightly stronger, the difference wasn't significant.

Furthermore, they could discern that Chu Feng, despite being at the Ninth Shackle stage, vastly outclassed others at the same level. For him, suppressing even Tenth Shackle experts would not be difficult.

This realization sent shockwaves through them!

What kind of monstrous talent was this? He could already defeat stronger opponents before; now, he would be truly formidable!

Soon, their despondent mood lifted, as even a group of aliens began to gather around Chu Feng, engaging him in enthusiastic conversation.

Some of these extraterrestrial beings invited Chu Feng to meet the Saintesses and Divine Sons they represented.

The Earth's evolutionaries were deeply impressed, knowing that any team led by a Divine Son would be incredibly formidable, undoubtedly originating from a powerful extraterrestrial lineage.

"Brother Chu Feng, I am Huang Tong, from the Alpha Centauri system..."

A tall, imposing being with a lion's head and human body, distinguished by his long mane, introduced himself in broken Earth language with a smile, engaging Chu Feng in conversation.

Some of the other arrivals nearby showed surprise, recognizing that beings from the Alpha Centauri system were notoriously powerful, with exceptionally high levels of evolution.

"I represent my master, the Golden Divine Son, and invite you for a meeting deep within Mount Lu," Huang Tong said politely. Though his lion-faced, human-bodied appearance was rugged, his demeanor was surprisingly refined.

Nearby, several other extraterrestrials exchanged knowing glances and subtle sighs. The Golden Divine Son had indeed arrived!

Among these arrivals were individuals from other factions within the Alpha Centauri system, as well as evolutionaries who had previously visited different regions of that star system.

Their expressions clearly indicated that the Golden Divine Son was exceptionally formidable.

Chu Feng surmised that this individual’s evolutionary level was too high for him to emerge from the folded space at this time.

Soon, a woman in purple approached. She appeared no older than twenty, with a graceful figure, a classic beauty, and a kind, approachable smile.

Her Earth language was quite standard, allowing her to communicate easily with Chu Feng. Her voice was pleasant, and she introduced herself as Ye Lan.

"To use Earth's terminology, I am from an extragalactic system—specifically, the Andromeda region."

Ye Lan, who hailed from Andromeda, maintained her smile throughout their conversation, discussing various matters concerning her home galaxy before inviting Chu Feng to meet a Heavenly Maiden.

The Heavenly Maiden from Andromeda was currently residing in the folded space behind Mount Hua and had not yet emerged, but she was closely monitoring external affairs.

Many were moved by this, as the Andromeda region was known to contain an incredibly powerful life-bearing planet, renowned throughout the star sea.

A Heavenly Maiden from Andromeda would, without a doubt, be a talent of extraordinary caliber.

In just a short span, three or four envoys representing various Divine Sons and Saintesses had gathered around Chu Feng, which was truly remarkable.

While there were many extraterrestrial arrivals, not all of them were backed by Royal Daughters or Divine Sons; ordinary evolutionary sects constituted the vast majority. Nevertheless, a large crowd had gathered around Chu Feng.

In fact, Chu Feng had been feeling suspicious throughout this entire interaction. What was wrong with these people? Why were they so overly enthusiastic for no apparent reason, especially when he had been prepared for a fight?

After all, he had spent the previous day fighting aliens, yet now he was seeing some familiar faces—some of the very individuals he had soundly defeated were now approaching him with surprising enthusiasm.

He was utterly speechless and somewhat bewildered.

Divine Sons’ subordinates were inviting him to meet, and Saintesses’ envoys were extending olive branches—it was truly bizarre.

Naturally, this strange situation didn't last long. Given the many people and widespread chatter in the area, Chu Feng soon overheard some discussions and unexpectedly learned that he had inexplicably been designated a "Heaven-Chosen Son."

*Heaven-Chosen Son, my foot!* he inwardly grumbled. All this fuss, just because that silver light had descended and entangled him.

Nevertheless, since the extraterrestrials were so eager to befriend him, he certainly wouldn't voluntarily discard this advantageous new status.

In outer space, Yang Xuan stood watching, quite displeased. He had observed the entire scene and noted how the native boy on the ground had, by the end, completely embraced his role as the "Heaven-Chosen Son," basking in the attention and surrounded by eager followers like a moon among stars.

At Zijin Mountain, Chu Feng became increasingly composed and natural, conversing cheerfully with various groups, even promising to visit the Divine Sons and Saintesses residing deep within each of the renowned mountains.

Just then, the clear sound of bells chimed, announcing the approach of an extraordinary war chariot from a short distance away.

Its body was a shimmering purple, wreathed in a misty glow, forged from a rare metal typically reserved for crafting top-tier weaponry. Yet, here it was, used for a vehicle.

The chariot was pulled by a unique beast resembling a majestic horse, yet it was entirely covered in glistening silver scales and possessed a single horn on its forehead.

"How interesting, a unicorn with a partial sub-divine beast bloodline," remarked Huang Tong, the lion-faced human from the Alpha Centauri system, as he observed it.

The driver was an extraordinary individual, appearing to be in his thirties and having broken eight shackles. He guided the war chariot slowly from a distance, exuding an air of considerable self-importance.

"This unicorn, with its partial sub-divine blood, isn't old yet it has already broken nine shackles. That's quite impressive, and it has the potential to further purify its bloodline," noted Ye Lan, the woman in purple from Andromeda, with a nod.

Clearly, their home planets were incredibly prosperous, as they were widely knowledgeable about such creatures possessing sub-divine beast bloodlines.

The syndicate members were visibly stirred. It was one thing for the driver to have broken eight shackles, but the beast pulling the chariot being a Ninth-Shackle creature was truly astounding at their current stage.

In fact, even the native Earth evolutionaries were left in awe.

The man driving the chariot was merely a driver, not its owner, yet he displayed considerable confidence, almost bordering on arrogance, when facing the numerous native Earth evolutionaries.

As the purple-gold chariot entered the crowded area, the driver made no attempt to stop, continuing to advance and forcing people to scramble out of its path.

However, upon spotting the group of extraterrestrial beings, the driver's self-assured demeanor visibly softened. He finally brought the chariot to a halt and dismounted.

Furthermore, he smiled and greeted the arrivals with a notably polite attitude.

"Is Chu Feng here?" he inquired, having come specifically to find him.

It quickly became clear that he hailed from the legendary overseas immortal island, Penglai.

The Earth's evolutionaries were stirred; they were naturally aware of this mythical island and were astonished that it actually existed and had now emerged.

No wonder the driver had been so self-important, not even bothering to dismount from his chariot in front of the assembled crowd, simply driving through.

As for the extraterrestrial beings, they remained perfectly calm.

"My young master instructed me to invite Chu Feng, the domain researcher; he wishes to meet him," explained the middle-aged man, Chen Rui.

He completely ignored the native Earth evolutionaries, instead clasping his hands in a respectful gesture towards the extraterrestrial beings, a smile on his face.

This attitude displeased Chu Feng.

Chu Feng had previously encountered an individual from Penglai Immortal Island at the True Dragon's Nest in the East Sea. He recalled the Dragoness mentioning that these people considered themselves the true inheritors of Earth's orthodoxy.

"Does he need something from me?" Chu Feng inquired.

Chen Rui was surprised; Chu Feng had emerged from among the extraterrestrials, with whom he seemed to have been conversing quite amiably.

Originally, Chen Rui had been full of arrogance, intending to simply summon Chu Feng to accompany him to meet the Chen family's young master after delivering the message.

Now, however, he didn't dare demand that Chu Feng simply follow him. Instead, he smiled and said, "Brother Chu, my young master wishes to invite you for a discussion. He greatly admires you; there's no other intention."

In reality, the true purpose of summoning Chu Feng was for him to assist the young master in researching the domain within a particular famous mountain.

Chen Rui then added, "My young master is currently visiting a friend, so there's no immediate rush for us to depart."

The young master of the Penglai Chen family had entered a certain renowned mountain, where he had met a Saintess. He was so captivated by her that he had not yet returned.

Naturally, Chen Rui couldn't disclose such details.

At that moment, a syndicate member discreetly sent a mental message to Chen Rui, informing him of the recent events and how Chu Feng had come to be regarded as a Heaven-Chosen Son.

"What?!" Chen Rui's expression changed instantly. If Chu Feng truly held such a status, he wouldn't dare to casually "invite him away," even without the extraterrestrial beings present.

At this point, the unicorn lifted its head, sneered at Chu Feng, and scoffed, "Heaven-Chosen Son? How audacious! The surviving lineages of Penglai and other such places are the true orthodoxy of Earth. How dare someone from the outside claim such a title?!"

Chen Rui quickly tried to silence the beast, though he dared not scold it, as this unicorn with its sub-divine beast bloodline was highly favored by the Chen family's young master, who intended to cultivate it into a true sub-divine beast.

Chu Feng was quite displeased. This driver from Penglai had been so arrogant and dismissive toward the native Earth evolutionaries upon his arrival, yet now he was all smiles when facing the extraterrestrials. Was this what they called Earth's true orthodoxy?

And for that mixed-blood sub-divine beast to adopt such an arrogant posture—that made Chu Feng's expression immediately darken.

"Just a draft animal, yet it dares to speak so presumptuously here? Truly ill-mannered. I say we butcher it for meat," someone among the extraterrestrial beings declared, stepping forward with palpable killing intent. Then, they offered Chu Feng a smile, clearly attempting to curry favor.

"Exactly, utterly ill-mannered. A mere beast daring to criticize? Butcher it!" Another individual stepped forward, intending to kill the unicorn.
