Chapter 407: Urgency

In the morning, the rising sun was a fiery red, casting a crimson reflection on the sea. As the waves gently rose and fell, the reflection shattered into countless pieces of shimmering gold.

Laoshan Mountain was exceptionally serene. Its peaks were enveloped in a special energetic substance, an "immortal mist," which churned and billowed. Bathed in the morning light, it instantly transformed into a beautiful, resplendent sight, with clouds like steam and mist like rosy clouds.

This mountainous region bordered the azure sea. Standing atop the mountains and gazing into the distance, one could see the vast, boundless ocean stretching for billions of acres, an exceptionally magnificent sight that filled one's heart with comfort and expanse.

Chu Feng climbed the mountain unnoticed. He arrived at a tranquil peak where an ancient, millennia-old Taoist temple stood, weathered by time. Nearby, a venerable, silvery-white pine tree was deeply rooted.

Lin Nuoyi, sensing his presence, emerged from the temple. In the glow of the morning sun, her face had a faint golden halo, her hair seemed to shimmer, and her pristine white attire gave her an ethereal, otherworldly aura.

The two gazed at each other in silence for a moment, then walked together towards the small Taoist temple.

Chu Feng had a simple and direct question for her: whether she intended to align herself with Mu Qing and the so-called Evolution Dynasty.

"It's very dangerous here. You should leave, immediately depart from Laoshan," Lin Nuoyi said, looking at him with her usual calm and rational demeanor.

Mu Qing awoke to find the grass beneath her covered in blood. The intense pain almost made her faint again, and she couldn't help but let out a piercing scream.

"Ah..."

She had lost her left arm, and the lower half of her body was severed. For a woman of such beauty, it felt like falling into the abyss of hell. She could not accept it.

"Take me to the depths of Laoshan!"

It was a long time before she regained some semblance of consciousness. Though no longer hysterical, her emotions still fluctuated violently. To be so grievously crippled by a devastating attack in the serene morning light was a fate worse than death for her.

Many people from Heavenly God Biotech had already arrived, stemming her blood flow, bandaging, and treating her wounds. But what good was it? Her limbs were already mangled.

She was still young, a noble lady who had willingly chosen to follow the Prince. She possessed ambition and great aspirations, yet she had only just arrived on this planet and was already crippled by a native.

At that moment, her heart was filled with gloom, and she felt utterly disheartened. Her grand path, so carefully planned, seemed to have been severed, and everything now seemed beyond her reach.

"That native!" she shrieked, her heart overflowing with anger and resentment that she had been so utterly ruined and injured.

Someone carefully placed her on a stretcher, and she was quickly and steadily carried towards the depths of Laoshan. This was Mu Qing's demand; she was unwilling to give up, believing perhaps only the Prince could save her.

She wanted to ask the Prince of Daqi to avenge her and capture that native. Simply killing him would be too easy; she wished for the native to be kept alive and tortured with the most brutal punishments.

Lin Nuoyi stood beneath the silvery pine, repeatedly telling Chu Feng not to return, as the people of the Evolution Dynasty were too powerful, and Chu Feng was no match for them.

Chu Feng turned and descended the mountain, contacting Mastiff King and others. He informed them that he had already collected some "interest" for them: the woman was now half-crippled, though her life had been spared for the time being.

Then, he moved silently and unnoticed. Taking advantage of the chaos in Laoshan, he ascended the peak where Mu Qing had been, as if entering an unmanned territory. He immediately spotted the emerald green bamboo raft she had left behind.

The sun's fiery essence had left some glaring marks on it; it was significantly damaged, with some parts almost completely charred.

Chu Feng tested it and discovered that by simply infusing it with energy, it could levitate and fly.

This was not a bamboo raft controlled by psychic martial arts; it could be activated simply by injecting energy. It was a flying tool that defied conventional technology.

The verdant, crystalline bamboo raft could originally shrink to mere inches, allowing it to be carried at all times. However, due to the damage, it could no longer fit in one's palm.

Chu Feng put it directly into his spatial bottle. This item was very useful to him; from now on, he could fly or escape anywhere.

Then, he proceeded deep into Laoshan, employing the Great Thunder Sound Breathing Method. This allowed him to become one with the mountains and rocks, seemingly vanishing into oblivion, imperceptible to anyone.

He wanted to observe the true strength of the Evolution Dynasty's forces, the extent of the Prince's evolution, and their next moves.

Deep within Laoshan, Mu Qing was sobbing. Her usual composure and smile were gone as she struggled to rise from the stretcher.

The people from Heavenly God Biotech transported her into a folded space. Mu Qing stood nearby, her head bowed.

Extraterrestrial beings who had survived the field trials on Earth were no longer affected by entering and exiting folded spaces, making them virtually indistinguishable from the local inhabitants.

"Don't cry," said Qi Yu, the Prince of the Great Qi Dynasty.

His azure-gold battle chariot bore the marks of time, ancient and weathered, yet it constantly surged with brilliant divine mist, which coalesced into images of sacred beasts and divine birds like white tigers and vermillion birds, manifesting around the vehicle.

Qi Yu, clad in metallic battle armor and a purple-gold crown, exuded an imposing aura. His eyes were deep. He stepped down from the chariot and embraced Mu Qing, his calm and steady demeanor giving way as his body erupted with brilliant light.

His eyes shot out two terrifying beams of light, and he activated a formidable breathing technique. Columns of energy erupted from his mouth and nostrils, and even his pores, as abundant life force surged into Mu Qing's body.

"Your Highness, I originally wanted to bring you good news, but on the way..." Mu Qing sobbed.

"Don't speak of that now; let me heal you first," Qi Yu said, turning to a beautiful woman on the chariot who held his sword and scriptures. "Bring me my medicinal fluid!"

At that moment, a group of people had gathered around, many asking what had happened. All showed anger and murderous intent, eager to rush out of this space immediately.

However, upon hearing the Great Qi Prince's words, many were stunned. An old man carrying a medicine basket even whispered, "Your Highness, that is your life-preserving divine medicine."

"Mu Qing needs it more now. Bring it!" Qi Yu commanded, his tone calm yet authoritative. His entire body flowed with intense light, like an eternal divine furnace blazing, and an ocean-like aura of vital energy permeated the area, causing the very mountains to tremble violently.

In this area, the mountains shook, a fierce wind howled, and vast swathes of trees swayed violently, causing hundreds of thousands of leaves to rustle down.

All of this was caused by Qi Yu's erupting energy; he was exuding an inexplicable aura.

At this moment, not only the people from Heavenly God Biotech but also many from the Great Qi Dynasty felt their hearts throb, and some even began to tremble involuntarily.

On the battle chariot, the beautiful woman who assisted Prince Qi Yu by holding his divine sword and scriptures retrieved a fist-sized crystal ball and handed it to him.

"Your Highness!" Mu Qing's voice trembled.

Inside the crystalline sphere was sealed a vibrant red, pulpy liquid—the juice of a rare fruit, a precious, world-class medicine. Qi Yu held the crystal, opened it with a secret technique, and poured out some of the liquid.

"Don't speak, drink this," Qi Yu said gently.

The bright red liquid flowed into Mu Qing's mouth. Soon, her entire body began to glow with a crimson aura, and a potent surge of vitality, astonishingly vigorous, spread through all her wounds.

Soon, Qi Yu sealed the crystal and put it away.

"Your Highness, I am willing to die for you at any time," Mu Qing choked out.

"Don't speak carelessly. Your life alone affects the fate of everyone present," Qi Yu said, comforting her.

At this moment, even the old man who had been carrying the medicine basket and initially felt some dissatisfaction was now relieved. He, too, felt that the Prince's actions were entirely appropriate; Mu Qing needed to be preserved.

After consuming the red medicinal liquid, Mu Qing's mental state rapidly improved. Even more astonishingly, her wounds began to twitch, and granulation tissue and even bone started to grow!

She wept with joy.

"Rest assured and recover; everything will pass," the Great Qi Prince said gently. Then, his demeanor turned severe, becoming authoritative and formidable. His eyes blazed with divine light, and his entire body radiated splendor like the scorching sun. He spoke coldly, "Whoever injured you like this, no matter who he is, will be utterly annihilated, body and soul!"

"Your Highness, allow me to cross over first and cleave that native with a single stroke!"

"Let me go; I'll suppress and kill him with one hand!"

At that moment, two armored knights, who had been seated on their battle beasts, dismounted and knelt on one knee, requesting permission to seek justice for Mu Qing.

"My two commanders, don't take such a risk," Mu Qing said. "Actually, if I hadn't been unexpectedly wounded earlier, he wouldn't have been able to harm me." She didn't want these two powerful commanders to risk their lives crossing over; should they fail, she couldn't bear such a responsibility.

The two commanders stood up. One, clad in silver armor, looked formidable and sharp. He said, "A native, a mere piece of scum, dares to harm our people? It's unfortunate that this planet's will is half-dead but not entirely, providing such strong protection for its natives!"

Prince Qi Yu of Great Qi waved his hand, signaling them to stop talking. He then looked at Mu Qing and said, "You mentioned you originally had something important to tell me."

"Yes, Your Highness, I have good news to report. We will soon be able to cross the boundary," Mu Qing said, unable to hide her joy. She then began to report in a hushed, secret tone.

Rosy light surged in this area, enveloping them and making them invisible and inaudible to outsiders.

In the distant forest, Chu Feng remained quiet, silently observing.

The individuals were in a folded space, shielded by an invisible energy field. Additionally, Chu Feng was employing an ultimate breathing method, allowing him to merge with the environment. Thus, even with their immense power, they could not detect him.

"They are about to cross the boundary; time is short," Chu Feng thought, his gaze cold and deep.

He had to begin preparations, ensuring everything was foolproof. This group could not be allowed onto Earth; he had to find a way to annihilate them completely!

Chu Feng could sense that their evolutionary level was extremely high. As expected of the Evolution Dynasty's forces, if they were to truly attack at this stage, it would lead to a great catastrophe.

"Evolution Dynasty? They despise us so much, calling us 'natives' and 'scum.' I wonder what expressions they'll have when they're annihilated!" Chu Feng thought, a murderous intent rising within him.

Afterward, he saw Lin Nuoyi walking, her steps light, heading towards the folded space.

Chu Feng turned and left the area, disappearing without a backward glance.

At this point, there was no room for hesitation. He had to exhaust every option, preparing some trump cards. Allowing those wolf-like, tiger-like imperial forces to cross over would be a disaster with unimaginable consequences.

Chu Feng pondered as he walked out of Laoshan. A fighting spirit radiated from him, and with new ideas forming in his mind, he resolved to prepare for battle.

"When the time comes, we'll see who kills whom!" His resolve was firm. Despite the immense power and boundless threat of his enemies, he was determined to unleash a massacre and utterly annihilate this group.
