Chapter 312: Can Still Fight Again

"Don't rush to refuse; trust me, staying here is the best choice for Chu Feng. Where are the most extensive collections and ancient secret texts found? Can any other place compare to the national secret vault?"

The Master of Jade Pure Palace, with a solemn expression, advised the Black Ox and others, stating that the vast collection of books there even included ancient mythical texts of great origin. Currently, relevant personnel are consulting these texts, striving to find a solution to remove the black substance from Chu Feng's body.

Although the Black Ox and his companions were swayed, they trusted the Yellow Ox more, believing that its knowledge from a powerful external world was more reliable than any so-called national library. Not wanting to fall out with him, the Black Ox said, "You can continue to consult the books. If you find a solution, please let us know; we'd be very grateful. For now, we'll take Chu Feng to Kunlun for recuperation. There are also some ancient methods in Tibet that he can try."

The Master of Jade Pure Palace shook his head. "I oppose Chu Feng leaving for another reason. We recently received a secret report: although the ocean is frozen, the deep sea is in turmoil, experiencing unrest. Despite this, some individuals are determined to come ashore."

"What do you mean?" the Northeast Tiger asked, vigilant.

The Master of Jade Pure Palace explained, "It's rumored that powerful sea creatures are heading north, potentially targeting Chu Feng. Last time, Chu Feng killed Octopus King, one of the sea race's leading experts, and nearly annihilated Sea God Tiger, severing its tail. This act provoked hatred, and now some want to kill him, especially since they've learned about his critical physical condition and plan to seize this opportunity."

"Then we absolutely cannot stay in Shuntian! It's too dangerous here, a hotbed of trouble. We must leave as soon as possible and go to Kunlun Mountain!" the Black Ox declared, waving his hand.

"You're mistaken," the Master of Jade Pure Palace countered. "If you take Chu Feng on the road, it will play right into their hands. They'll certainly ambush you midway, having already calculated your destination."

The faces of the Black Ox, Northeast Tiger, and their companions turned grim. They had indeed been ambushed on their journey before, with the Yellow River Carp Spirit and a walrus teaming up to attack them, nearly costing them their lives.

The Master of Jade Pure Palace gestured around. "I've just had enough weapons transported here. If any more alien powerhouses attack, they'll at least be severely wounded, if not killed."

The next moment, various laser weapons and other armaments were revealed in certain areas of the Jade Pure Palace, some subtly aimed at the Black Ox and his group, serving as a deterrent.

"Don't aim randomly; this King will take it seriously!" the Black Ox warned coldly, intimidating the people.

"Don't be rude!" the Master of Jade Pure Palace admonished.

Then, with a wave of his hand, he swept up Yuan Hong, who lay motionless on the ground, sending him flying. He then commanded others, "Take him away and lock him in the dark prison for a few months to reflect."

"Uncle, I was wrong! Please don't do this!" Yuan Hong screamed, but he was still dragged away.

"Wrongdoing carries a price," the Master of Jade Pure Palace said in a deep voice. He then looked at Chu Feng, apologizing and asking him not to take it to heart.

"Palace Master Yuan, I think it's better if we leave," the Northeast Tiger and Donkey King also spoke up, as they always felt uneasy staying there.

"Shuntian is chaotic and not suitable for recuperation. I'd rather take my brother and leave!" the Black Ox spoke again, feeling that Chu Feng was being held under house arrest if he stayed there.

The Master of Jade Pure Palace's stance was firm. "No, Chu Feng is a member of our Jade Pure Palace. He has made such significant contributions, and now that he's in trouble, we cannot abandon him or neglect him. If you could guarantee his safety, that would be one thing, but he's very likely to be ambushed. I cannot let you take him into such danger."

The Black Ox felt his temper flaring. Why couldn't they take Chu Feng? Everything was just the Master of Jade Pure Palace's speculation, and the Black Ox felt that Chu Feng was being held captive, completely without freedom. Especially considering the shocking and infuriating incidents that occurred recently—forcing Chu Feng to hand over his boxing techniques and breathing methods, and even demanding the Vajra Yudrak — it was truly disheartening. Could they really stay in such a place? Clearly not!

"We are leaving!" the Black Ox's temper surged. Even though he knew the Master of Jade Pure Palace was powerful, he was fearless. Gripping his staff, he was prepared to shatter the place if necessary.

"Brother Niu, you are too stubborn. If not for yourself, at least consider Chu Feng. The journey is too perilous. If anything unforeseen happens, it will grieve us all," the Master of Jade Pure Palace said in a deep voice.

Chu Feng watched for a long time, then finally spoke. "Palace Master, have you asked for my opinion?"

The Master of Jade Pure Palace looked at him. "Chu Feng, don't act on impulse. You must believe that by staying here, you'll have the chance to recover and become a top expert again. You are still young; you need patience. The collection in the national secret vault far exceeds your imagination. There will be a solution!"

"No need," Chu Feng replied. "My mind is made up. I am leaving Jade Pure Palace now, regaining my freedom from this moment on, and withdrawing from this extraordinary organization. I am tired and wish to rest."

The Master of Jade Pure Palace frowned, his gaze sharp as he stared at Chu Feng for a long moment before letting out a soft sigh.

"Brother Chu Feng, please stay. The Palace Master genuinely cares for you and will find a way to restore you. No other place has ancient methods available for research like this." Several people tried to persuade him, blocking Chu Feng and urging him to stay. However, Chu Feng remained unmoved, determined to leave.

At that moment, the one-armed Master of Eight-Scene Palace also arrived, looking at Chu Feng. The Black Ox, Northeast Tiger, and others grew wary. With two top-tier kings present, they had to be on high alert, knowing that a confrontation could have severe consequences.

Finally, the Master of Jade Pure Palace sighed and said to Chu Feng, "Since you insist on leaving, take care!"

The Black Ox, Northeast Tiger, and the others exchanged glances, surprised that the Master of Jade Pure Palace had finally relented. They all let out a collective sigh of relief.

Chu Feng clasped his hands in a gesture of farewell to the Jade Pure Palace members, then turned and walked away, braving the wind and snow, leading the way out. Before leaving, the Northeast Tiger suddenly stopped, turned, and said, "Oh, by the way, has anyone borrowed weapons from my brother and not returned them? Now's your chance to hand them over quickly! I don't believe my brother will be crippled like this. Hurry up, don't be too greedy!"

In the distance, Zhou Kun looked a bit awkward. He was among the crowd, standing behind the Master of Eight-Scene Palace. Now, steeling himself, he stepped forward and presented a crimson flying sword with both hands. Many were stirred; weapons that could be wielded by mental martial arts were extremely rare and valuable.

The Northeast Tiger wasted no time, snatching the sword. He then rushed out of the complex, catching up with Chu Feng and the others.

"Let's go!"

Arriving at an open area outside Jade Pure Palace, the Golden Condor King transformed into its true form. Chu Feng and the others boarded its back, and it soared into the sky, braving the wind and snow. And so, they departed, leaving Shuntian behind!

The wind and snow were heavy, significantly slowing the Golden Condor King's speed. The entire landscape was obscured, with the blizzard seemingly endless. Just an hour later, after the Golden Condor King had flown thousands of kilometers, an unexpected turn of events occurred on their journey: several beams of light intertwined, streaking towards them.

"Damn it, laser weapons! These are human weapons, are they trying to blast us to death?!"

However, with their powerful divine senses, they had pre-empted the danger, and the Golden Condor King had already dodged the attack.

"It's fine," the Black Ox said. "In such terrible weather, these weapons will be interfered with, and their lethality won't be great."

Chu Feng remained silent, staring ahead and then surveying the surroundings, his brows furrowed.

"It shouldn't be an attack launched by humans, right? Otherwise, it would be too obvious and too outrageous, especially since Chu Feng is here," the Donkey King remarked.

"Trouble's here!" the Northeast Tiger's fur bristled. As a powerhouse who had broken through six shackles, his strength had surged since obtaining the breathing technique, and his divine senses were keen.

The Black Ox cursed, "The sea race, damn it! There truly are sea race powerhouses coming to intercept us, just as the Master of Jade Pure Palace predicted. It's playing out exactly as he said."

A bronze tiger, indistinguishable from one cast in metal, with a cold sheen, flapped a pair of wings and menacingly approached. "Your human weapons are truly inferior. It's much more satisfying to intercept you ourselves!" the colossal bronze tiger declared. Hovering in mid-air, it exuded a terrifying aura, exceptionally powerful, as it glared menacingly at Chu Feng.

"What is your relationship with the Sea God Tiger?" Chu Feng asked.

"Not every sea tiger can be called a Sea God Tiger, can it?" the bronze tiger retorted coldly, clearly displeased. Its lineage was not as noble or powerful as the Sea God Tiger's, which explained its cold demeanor.

Not far away, a strange fish, also strangely with wings, soared in the sky, its sharp teeth visible as it coldly watched Chu Feng and his companions. "I heard you're crippled. Perfect. We'll take you to the ocean as a prisoner!" the strange fish said.

The third and final sea race powerhouse had a human body but possessed a pair of wings; this was a Sea-Human. Although rare, the underwater human race was divided into several branches, such as Qian Yue, a powerful Sea-Human from the Three Seas, and Luo Tian, the Sea-Human from Dragon-Tiger Mountain who fiercely attacked the green gourd opening, attempting to seize the bronze lamp. They belonged to different sub-branches.

"Come here on your own, or wait for us to come and get you!" This Sea-Human was arrogant, his face cold, speaking directly. His appearance resembled a human's, except for gill-like slits and an extra pair of wings; otherwise, he was much like a human.

"Land!" the Black Ox muttered. They couldn't fly and weren't skilled in aerial combat.

The Golden Condor King sharply descended to the ground, kicking up a large amount of wind and snow. The three sea race powerhouses followed suit, also landing on the ground.

The next moment, the Black Ox immediately took action, wielding his staff, making it erupt with a vast and powerful Buddhist light, intending to strike down the three sea race powerhouses. However, they sneered, retreating instantly to a safe distance.

"Before coming here, we thoroughly investigated. How many times can you wield that so-called Buddhist staff? Just avoid its edge for now; all of you are doomed!" the Sea-Human sneered.

"Except for Chu Feng, all of you will die!" the strange fish also nodded.

All three sea race powerhouses had already broken through the sixth shackles, possessing astonishing strength. The Northeast Tiger grimaced; he could hold off one, but certainly not three.

"My kin, how about doing us a favor and letting us go?" the Northeast Tiger addressed the bronze tiger.

"You'll be the first to die!" the bronze tiger growled, showing killing intent and no politeness towards the Northeast Tiger, knowing it was the strongest among the group and thus the primary target.

"I'll take you down first!" the Northeast Tiger roared in fury.

"Kill!"

The two tigers roared and charged at each other, engaging in fierce combat. Next, the Donkey King roared, wielding his staff, forcing back the Sea-Human who tried to approach again. However, at that moment, the strange fish lunged. It was clear they intended to wear them down, as the sea race already knew that wielding the staff drained the wielder's energy.

"Good thing I brought the stone fruit!" the Black Ox whispered, preparing to eat the fruit to replenish his vital energy and fight them to the death.

"Stop," Chu Feng said, preventing them from making a rash move, then called the Northeast Tiger back.

Finally, the three sea race powerhouses sneered, approaching step by step, having already landed on the ground.

"Chu Feng, have you come to your senses? Get over here, or you'll wish you were dead!" the Sea-Human, the most arrogant of them, declared.

"Someone on land hired you to deal with me, didn't they? Can you tell me which consortium or special force it was?" Chu Feng asked.

"You're thinking too much," the Sea-Human said, shaking his head. He directly raised a hand, gesturing for Chu Feng to come over, intending to abduct him.

"Alright, since that's how it is, I'll reluctantly fight one last battle," Chu Feng sighed.

"He can still fight one last battle?!" The bronze tiger was startled and suspicious, clearly very knowledgeable about Chu Feng's situation, and now grew alert.

The next moment, Chu Feng's entire body glowed, turning silvery white, even his hair. He then burst forward, reaching speeds approaching six times the speed of sound, becoming more powerful and faster than before. Not just the sea race powerhouses, even the Black Ox and his companions were dumbfounded and shocked by his terrifying and sudden burst of power. That speed was absolutely incredible, truly frightening!

"Ah..."

The strange fish shrieked because Chu Feng had instantly pounced on it, unleashing a punch that blasted it into a mist of blood. The power was fierce, dominant, and terrifying!

"You!"

The bronze tiger shot straight into the sky; its species was known for its terrifying speed, and it attempted to escape. Chu Feng threw the Vajra Yudrak without even looking, launching it purely by instinct, then went to pursue the most arrogant Sea-Human. In the sky, the bronze tiger was shattered, looking as though it were cast from metal, yet blood splattered everywhere.

"My heavens, this is too brutal, truly godlike!" the Donkey King cried out in astonishment.

Simultaneously, Chu Feng leaped high into the air, catching up to the Sea-Human who was flapping his wings and attempting to flee skyward.

"Ah..."

The Sea-Human screamed, unable to withstand Chu Feng's fierce and overwhelming power. In an instant, Chu Feng tore off one of his arms and ripped off a bloodied wing, directly capturing him alive and descending towards the ground. Chu Feng, holding him, landed on the ground and punched him, breaking half of his body to prevent his escape. All of this happened too quickly, like a violent storm. In an instant, two of the three sea race powerhouses were dead, and one was injured.

"Speak! Tell me everything!" Chu Feng demanded, looking down at him.
