Chapter 290: Unmatched

There was no response; the area was utterly silent.

The nearby mountains were shattered and blood-stained, showing signs of a fierce battle. Some peaks had been cleanly sliced off, their smooth cross-sections indicating the work of peerless masters.

"White Hair, your grandpa's back! Come out if you dare, I'll beat you to death!" the Donkey King brayed.

With Chu Feng behind it, the Donkey King's courage was extraordinary. It challenged the White Shark King without any restraint, having been horribly tortured by it in the past.

The ground was covered with blood-stained fallen leaves, but no masters were present; they had long since departed.

"Lead the way to find them," Chu Feng said.

"Alright, if I don't slaughter that White Hair Shark, I'll never be able to rest easy," the Donkey King agreed, uncharacteristically showing no fear or desire to flee.

The Donkey King knew that all the powerful beings who had broken the six shackles had pushed deeper into the mysterious space. By following the traces of the battle, they would surely find them.

It speculated that the White Shark King, after failing to find the two oxen in the periphery, might have given up the search and begun to penetrate deeper.

"The strongest members of the Aquatic Race possess powerful weapons!" the Donkey King warned Chu Feng. Along the way, it had been terrified to learn that Chu Feng intended to go in alone.

The Sea God Tiger, in particular, was terrifyingly powerful, almost invincible. That golden-haired man had caused immense trouble for the peerless masters on land.

The Yellow Ox had used an entire Golden Arhat talisman but still failed to eliminate this individual, and the Great Black Ox's horn had been severed by the Sea God Tiger at that time. Both oxen had nearly died at his hands.

Besides them, there was also an incredibly ferocious Octopus King, as massive as a mountain. It had once torn apart an entire mountain range, drawing out magma to use as a swamp to bombard its opponents.

An octopus, bathed in a sea of magma, had once teamed up with humans to severely wound the White Crane of the Shu Mountain Sword Palace.

Unfortunately, the Donkey King didn't know much more.

"Aside from the peerless masters who were severely wounded and fled deep into this space, are there any other people from our side?" Chu Feng asked.

The Donkey King nodded, stating that it had recently seen several great demons from Mount Kunlun, as well as many king-level creatures from Jiangxi Province.

"Where are they?!"

Chu Feng was particularly concerned about the great demons of Mount Kunlun, as many of them had a relationship with him. Knowing their predicament, he naturally wanted to help them.

The Donkey King replied, "Those of us who haven't broken the six shackles can only hide, scattered everywhere, not daring to show our faces."

Chu Feng and the Donkey King moved very quickly, covering over 200 kilometers in a short time. At this point, they slowed their pace.

This area was somewhat unusual, a stretch of hills resembling giant burial mounds, with sparse vegetation.

"Hm?!"

Not just Chu Feng, but even the Donkey King stirred, its nose twitching as it caught the invigorating scent of fruit.

"Exotic fruit!" the Donkey King exclaimed, becoming excited. The aroma was incredibly enticing, drifting from afar—it had to be something extraordinary.

Chu Feng also felt energized and somewhat expectant, sensing that this fruit must be exceptional. Although he didn't wish to consume it himself, he could give it to those around him.

After advancing several hundred meters, they still hadn't located the source.

The Donkey King became even more thrilled, estimating that this fruit could at least enable a creature to evolve to the king level.

The fact that its scent could travel so far indicated it was truly extraordinary.

"The spiritual senses are suppressed here; it's a bit strange," Chu Feng frowned.

He suddenly looked up; there seemed to be a master nearby. He signaled the Donkey King to be silent.

This area had countless hills and natural force fields, but they only interfered with one's spiritual senses and weren't particularly formidable.

At the very least, it was far less potent than the "ghost wall" array Chu Feng had set up with four bronze pillars.

Chu Feng and the Donkey King turned left and right, and suddenly the scenery shifted. Behind a massive hill, a grove of trees appeared, from which the fragrant scent emanated.

"White Hair!" the Donkey King gnashed its teeth, its expression menacing as it stared ahead.

A young man with white hair was searching through the woods, carrying a blood-stained long saber.

This place was indeed strange; they only discovered the other person at such close range, indicating the strong interference of the force field.

The White Shark King had entered deeper into the forest and was no longer visible.

"He really did go all the way into the depths of the space; we've followed the right direction," the Donkey King said. Its courage was now bolstered, with no thought of escape.

Chu Feng dared not be careless. The White Shark King was definitely not simple; he had known this since ascending Dragon-Tiger Mountain. The White Shark King had once delivered a very fierce blow to the old master of Mount Wudang.

Deep within the dense forest, there was a peculiar tree made of stone. Whether touched or struck, it felt no different from ordinary rock.

Even its leaves were the same—hard and cold, unmoving even in the wind, like stone carvings.

Yet, on this strange tree, taller than a man, hung a single fruit. It was grayish, similar in color to the tree itself, but it emitted a rich fragrance.

It was the scent of this very fruit that had drifted far and attracted the White Shark King.

Several individuals had already arrived there, trying to pick the fruit from the stone tree, but none had succeeded.

This was because an invisible force surrounded the stone tree, preventing living beings from approaching.

Upon closer inspection, strange symbols were visible on the ground—force field characters. It was the power generated by these symbols that kept outsiders from stepping closer.

However, with the passage of time, the ground here had cracked, severely damaging those symbols. Almost all of them were intersected by fissures.

One could imagine that if they had been intact, approaching this spot would have been impossible.

Several great demons from Mount Kunlun were present, all acquaintances of Chu Feng: Pan Wang, the female demon from Silk Web Cave; Horse King, who was intent on marrying his daughter to Chu Feng; and the Tibetan Antelope King, whose horn Chu Feng had once broken.

After countless attempts, they finally neared the stone tree, on the verge of touching it.

"Heh heh..." Just then, a chilling laugh echoed, making their hearts sink. They turned to see the aquatic race powerhouse they least wanted to encounter.

"The White Shark King!" Horse King gasped.

They had personally witnessed the terror of the White Shark King's saber techniques. He was a truly peerless master, someone rarely matched even among those who had also broken the six shackles.

The long saber in his hand had left a deep, bone-visible wound on the back of Mount Wudang's old grandmaster. It was that very strike that had plunged the grandmaster into a life-and-death crisis.

Of course, the grandmaster had been struck because the Eight-Clawed Octopus King had also been relentlessly attacking him at the time.

"All of you, get out of my way!"

The White Shark King said indifferently. He appeared very young and nonchalant, not even bothering to look at the great demons from Mount Kunlun.

At this moment, Horse King and Pan Wang had been making difficult attempts, finally nearing the fruit, only to encounter the White Shark King. Their hearts sank.

They had come here seeking refuge, but now their hopes were dashed; the ripening of an exotic fruit had drawn their formidable enemy.

The White Shark King was quite casual. "Go away for now," he said. "After I've harvested the exotic fruit, I'll deal with you."

"Are you deaf?"

With a swish, he swung his saber forward without exerting much force, yet the saber energy surged, nearly tearing the void apart and producing explosive roars.

Horse King and Pan Wang quickly dodged. Such saber light was beyond their ability to contend with.

Even without directly clashing, they still coughed up mouthfuls of blood. A mere touch from the white energy light had nearly caused their bodies to burst apart.

"Just a bunch of insects; I didn't even bother to act," the White Shark King said languidly. He was powerful; the invisible force could not stop him, and he had already neared the stone tree.

"If any of you can tell me where those two oxen are, I'll let them go. Otherwise, while I don't particularly care, I'll still kill you all with a single strike."

A faint smile played on the White Shark King's young face. He appeared nonchalant, yet no one dared to underestimate him; he was an elite among the Aquatic Race.

"It's a pity my master isn't here!" Horse King murmured. He had already discerned that only an absolutely formidable and invincible figure like the old lama could suppress the top masters of the Aquatic Race.

"Your master is nothing," the White Shark King said with a playful sneer. "Most creatures on land are destined to fall to a single saber strike."

At the same time, he raised his saber and declared, "Originally, I couldn't be bothered with you small fry, nor did I care to attack those two oxen. But since Fairy Clam requested my assistance, you're all doomed to die."

He raised his hand, his long saber glowing, preparing to unleash a sweeping attack. He had no patience; since none of them revealed the oxen's whereabouts, he intended to kill them all.

Suddenly, a violent surge of energy rushed forth. The White Shark King spun around abruptly, his pupils contracting sharply!

It was a black long spear, flying like a dark streak of light, resembling world-shaking lightning. It arrived in an instant; had he not reacted swiftly, he would have been directly impaled.

At the same time, he saw the attacker standing in the distance—a very young man who had directly thrown the black spear.

The White Shark King forcefully swung his saber, deflecting the battle spear away.

From a distance, the young man gestured, using his mental energy to retrieve the black spear, gripping it once more.

"Brother Chu!" Horse King exclaimed.

Pan Wang was also pleasantly surprised, her beautiful eyes gleaming.

They had not expected Chu Feng to appear at such a critical juncture. It was like a lifeline in their desperate situation, allowing them to escape the vortex of death.

"Son, son, White Hair, your grandpa's back! Come here and die!"

With a whoosh, the Donkey King appeared, jumping to Chu Feng's side and challenging the White Shark King.

"That black spear belongs to the Orca King. Did you kill him?!" The White Shark King shed his nonchalant demeanor, his expression turning grave as he prepared for battle.

"Horse King, Pan Wang, both of you get far away," Chu Feng signaled.

Then, he stared at the White Shark King and said, "Just an orca. The sooner it dies, the sooner it can be reborn. Now it's your turn."

"Where is Fairy Clam?!" the White Shark King demanded.

"Killed with one punch," Chu Feng replied.

"I'll kill you!" The White Shark King roared in fury, his previous demeanor completely gone. His eyes were as sharp as blades as he raised his gleaming long saber with both hands, aiming it at Chu Feng.

The Donkey King taunted, "Son, son, so you liked Fairy Clam? Damn it, a forbidden interspecies romance, incurable! When I get back, I'll stew her and eat her!"

The White Shark King moved, charging forward like a flash of white light. His saber energy was terrifyingly destructive, tearing through the earth and engulfing everything in a blinding white haze!

The Donkey King, terrified, turned and galloped away!

Chu Feng stood fearless, his black long spear piercing out like a bolt of dark lightning.

Clang, clang, clang...

Sparks flew, and murderous intent surged.

This was the first battle in the mysterious space that Chu Feng had to take seriously.

The White Shark King was very powerful, surpassing the Orca King.

In just a few moments, they had exchanged hundreds of blows. The saber lights were boundless, like hundreds of white waves crashing down; anyone touched by them would surely be cut down.

Swish, swish, swish!

One after another, white saber lights streaked out. In mere moments, their fight had moved out of the dense forest and into the hills.

Boom!

Before long, more than a dozen hills were sliced apart and split open. What were called hills were effectively small mountains.

The White Shark King's saber light was peerless; a single strike could cleave a small mountain!

Although it was Chu Feng's first time using the black long spear, he wielded it with remarkable proficiency. The spear in his hand was an extension of his Dragon Devil Fist, transforming into a black flood dragon that soared and dipped, clashing with the long saber, occasionally thrusting toward the White Shark King's vital points.

At their level, every strike was terrifyingly potent; armed or unarmed, they were equally lethal.

Chu Feng thrust a spear forward. The White Shark King dodged, and the spearhead struck a small hill behind him, causing it to instantly collapse, sending rocks flying into the air.

After some two hundred exchanges, with a wet thud, Chu Feng's spear pierced through the White Shark King's right shoulder, causing his entire arm and long saber to fall to the ground.

"You attacked Mount Wudang's old grandmaster; I'm here for revenge!" Chu Feng roared, simultaneously pressing the White Shark King for information on whether the grandmaster and others were still alive.

"All the land masters are dead, and you'll die soon too!" The White Shark King's eyes blazed with malevolent defiance, showing no fear of death.

Finally, Chu Feng's spear pierced through the White Shark King's chest, lifting him into the air. With a powerful shake, his body exploded into pieces with a loud bang, instantly killing him.

Horse King, Pan Wang, and the others were stunned. They quickly rushed over, their expressions complex. In such a short time, Chu Feng had become incredibly powerful.

"Do you know where the Yellow Ox is?" Chu Feng asked them.

"Yes!" Horse King nodded emphatically.

Chu Feng was overjoyed!
