Chapter 288: Harvesting

Chu Feng's punch was so formidable that even the Orca King, who prided himself on his indestructible physique and unparalleled strength, could not endure it. One of his arms was instantly blown to smithereens, dissolving into a cloud of blood mist.

The Orca King was sent flying nearly a kilometer away, crashing into a volcano with a resounding impact. The volcano immediately cracked, and then, with a thunderous roar, magma burst forth and erupted. The scene was astonishing: their fierce battle caused crimson magma to overflow from the active volcano, surging violently across the area and emitting dense black smoke, a truly terrifying sight.

"Chu Feng!" the Orca King groaned, his face contorted in pain. He let out a low growl, like a cornered beast in despair. To have an arm severed was a severe humiliation for him.

He leaped to his feet, distancing himself from the active volcano, intent on escaping. Despite his arrogance, the Orca King had no desire to die needlessly; it was clear he was no match for Chu Feng, and further resistance would only lead to his demise.

"I came to kill you, and you think you can escape?!" Chu Feng's voice was chilling. He moved with explosive speed, crossing the sky with a thunderous rush to cut off the Orca King's escape route.

The Orca King remained silent, changing direction, still intent on fleeing the battlefield. He aimed to buy time, knowing that if his companions arrived, a group hunt would be more than enough to eliminate Chu Feng. He just needed to survive this moment.

Unfortunately, he had encountered Chu Feng, and escape was futile. There was a significant disparity in their speed, and their combat prowess had already been decisively distinguished. Now, with one arm broken, the blood-soaked Orca King was even more vulnerable.

When Chu Feng caught up to him this time, the Orca King was met with another devastating punch. With the force of a collapsing mountain and a raging tsunami, Chu Feng leaped from behind, swooping down from nearly a kilometer and a half away. He seemed like a god descending from the heavens!

Chu Feng descended from mid-air with lightning speed, his punch radiating a brilliant light. The surging energy was incredibly terrifying, seemingly dimming the very sun, moon, mountains, and rivers. As he swung his fist, the ground beneath was suppressed by the immense energy, cracking and splitting before the impact, causing the streams of magma to boil.

The Orca King found he couldn't evade. As he fled eastward, a sharp crimson flying sword shot fiercely towards him, threatening to impale him. He could only dodge, which instantly hindered his escape and bought Chu Feng crucial time.

Chu Feng's earth-shattering punch descended, shining more brilliantly than the sun and illuminating the entire volcanic region. This was an all-out strike, brimming with immense physical energy.

The Orca King fought desperately, raising his sole remaining left arm. His fist glowed, unleashing a punch of supreme strength that radiated a terrifying, blinding energy. Tragically, this formidable punch, powerful enough to threaten peerless experts and subdue other kings, proved utterly useless in this critical moment.

His fist exploded, unable to withstand Chu Feng's ultimate blow! His arm shattered, then his shoulder blade splintered, and finally, his entire shoulder burst open. The force of Chu Feng's punch was so immense that it almost tore off half of the Orca King's body.

The Orca King was sent hurtling sideways, crashing into and collapsing an active volcano. Magma surged forth, and the pungent smell of sulfur filled the air. Stripped of his vitality, he had lost all his former confidence, dazed and utterly disheartened by the relentless assault. All his earlier swagger had been utterly pulverized by Chu Feng's fists.

When the Orca King regained consciousness, he screamed in agony, his arms gone. As Chu Feng descended, he effortlessly hoisted the Orca King, like a farmer lifting a tiny chick.

"Boom!" From afar, several powerful energy fluctuations reverberated like crashing waves. The Orca King's allies were arriving! In truth, very little time had elapsed since their battle began; everything had transpired in a flash. Yet, these individuals were already closing in rapidly, testament to their immense power. They were all sea creatures who had broken six shackles, capable of supersonic travel.

The Orca King saw a glimmer of hope for survival; his eyes gleamed with a desperate will to live. He opened his mouth and roared, sending out silver ripples that surged like ocean waves. He was burning his life force, unleashing immense vital energy and activating the whale's unique sonic waves. Even without arms, he continued his frenzied assault, driven solely by the will to survive.

*Clang, clang, clang...* Unfortunately, the golden bell barrier around Chu Feng's body was indestructible. Any other king caught at such close range would have been gravely injured by the impact, perhaps even torn to shreds. But the Golden Bell Barrier, perfected from the Twelve True Forms of Xingyi, was a true divine protective art, rendering Chu Feng impervious to all attacks at his current stage!

Chu Feng's punch tore through the Orca King's chest, causing his heart to burst.

At the edge of the earth, several figures appeared, each more ferocious than the last. One had disheveled hair, another was enveloped in crimson light, and a third roared, shattering active volcanoes. The energy fluctuations they emitted were palpable from a great distance!

The three masters roared, but their speed outstripped sound; their figures appeared on the horizon even before their cries could be heard.

Chu Feng remained calm, holding the Orca King's weakened body without immediately decapitating him. For experts of this caliber, beheading was the only sure way to guarantee death. He fixed his gaze on a nearby topographical feature, then leaped violently into the air, flinging the Orca King directly towards a volcanic crater.

In his weakened state, the Orca King reverted to his true form—a colossal, blood-soaked creature resembling a small mountain. Without resistance, he hurtled straight into the volcano.

The volcano was immense, with crimson magma bubbling within its crater. "Go take a bath, you puny shrimp!" Chu Feng taunted.

With a rumble, magma splashed outwards as the enormous Orca King plunged headfirst into the volcano. This was no bath; it was clearly being thrown into a hot pot, destined to be cooked through. The Orca King's body was so massive that half of it plunged into the volcano while the other half remained outside, its tail weakly flailing. It was an unprecedented and astonishing sight.

"How dare you!" roared a disheveled, blood-stained sea creature. In his eyes, Chu Feng's actions in front of them were a direct provocation, a declaration of war.

Unfortunately, his opponent was beyond earshot. The air exploded as the sea creature, moving far faster than sound, charged straight in, his face a mask of cold fury and ferocity, intent on hunting Chu Feng.

"You seek death! Let's torture him to death!" another roared. Enveloped in crimson light, this individual had large pincers for arms—a Sea Crab King who had broken six shackles, his face twisted in a cruel sneer. Bloodstains marred their bodies, but they were not their own; they were remnants from hunting land-based experts. The third sea creature expert was also close, rapidly approaching to kill.

Chu Feng remained perfectly calm. Only when they were nearing the "Ghost Maze" field did he raise his hand, his fist glowing with an intense light.

Chu Feng surged forward, piercing through the volcano like a bolt of lightning. His explosive power was terrifying; he struck one side of the active volcano and emerged from the other. By this point, the Orca King was already critically wounded and on the verge of death, his heart long since pulverized. Had he any strength left, he wouldn't have been plunged headfirst into the volcanic magma like a stake; thus, he was utterly incapable of resisting this final punch.

*Boom!* Half of the Orca King's body exploded along with the active volcano, utterly annihilated! The remaining tail section shot up from the surging magma; lifeless and without any energy to protect it, it was instantly cooked and on the verge of complete destruction.

After charging through, Chu Feng stood still on the volcanic rock, his legs planted like javelins. He fixed his gaze on the approaching figures and then beckoned to the three of them.

The three sea creature experts' eyes turned frigid. This was an unforgivable provocation; to blast the Orca King apart in front of them was utterly audacious.

*Swish, swish!* The three, who had initially intended to encircle him, now directly dove forward, unwilling to waste a single moment, desperate to eliminate Chu Feng immediately.

"Huh?!" The two leading figures were startled. In an instant, the volcano seemed to invert, causing them to nearly lose their bearings and plummet to the ground. They had entered the Ghost Maze field.

The third individual was alarmed and reacted swiftly. As a being who had broken six shackles, his divine senses were incredibly keen. Noticing something was wrong with his two companions, he abruptly halted. But by then, Chu Feng had already moved, swiftly circling the perimeter of the Ghost Maze field.

*Bang, bang, bang...* After several exchanges of blows, Chu Feng forced the third individual into the Ghost Maze, who then also fell into the miniature field.

Chu Feng had deliberately kept the Orca King alive until the final moment, luring the three masters to rush recklessly to his rescue. As a result, all of them stepped directly into the Ghost Maze! Chu Feng sought to test the power of the Ghost Maze and understand its intricacies. The best method was to trap experts who had broken six shackles within it and observe their struggle.

Now, the three masters were utterly disoriented, running frantically but unable to escape. This was no ordinary illusion; it was a specialized miniature field designed for cultivators, targeting their perception, divine senses, and minds. Trapped within the field, they constantly believed their judgments were correct, yet they were wildly mistaken, repeatedly circling in place.

Chu Feng's expression shifted. Daoist True Masters, Buddhist Golden Arhats, and other formidable ancient cultivators were indeed extraordinary. These were their creations, imbued with the power to deceive the mind. What if these were fields designed by Bodhisattva-level cultivators? Their creations would undoubtedly be even more terrifying. Chu Feng wondered if the Field Scripture he and the Yellow Ox had acquired contained the research findings of Bodhisattva-level cultivators.

In the distance, the Snow Leopard King stared, dumbfounded and profoundly shocked. Chu Feng, whose cultivation level was once lower than his own, had now not only annihilated the Orca King but also trapped three masters. His power had increased at an astonishing rate! The Snow Leopard King hurried closer from several kilometers away.

"This is truly unexpected," the Snow Leopard King sighed. "I thought you would face a brutal, arduous battle, yet it concluded so swiftly."

"What happened to the Mastiff King?" Chu Feng inquired. As fellow great demons from the Kunlun Mountain lineage, he assumed the Snow Leopard King had naturally arrived with the Mastiff King.

"I don't know," the Snow Leopard King replied, his voice low, as he briefly recounted what had transpired. During the ascent, both the sea creatures and the alien kings of the land were suppressed. Dragon-Tiger Mountain specifically targeted aliens, but once a stone tablet on the mountain was broken, the oppressive force below the mountainside vanished.

"The sea creatures harbor malicious ambitions and seek to eradicate us. In truth, the Mastiff King and others were also setting a trap to ambush and kill a number of sea creature masters. However, something went wrong, and we suffered considerable losses." The Snow Leopard King's cultivation was insufficient, so he hadn't accompanied those peerless experts. He was unaware of what had transpired or the subsequent developments, as it was a battle reserved for the highest echelons of power, beyond their participation.

Chu Feng generally understood the situation: the sea creatures possessed a potent weapon, and there might even be traitors among the land forces. His gaze was sharp. If there truly were peerless experts colluding with the sea creatures, the threat would be monstrous, and a sudden betrayal during battle could lead to an immediate collapse.

"Chu Feng, what kind of creature are you? If you have the guts, fight me honorably! I could defeat you with one hand!" a voice cursed from within the Ghost Maze.

Faced with this taunt, Chu Feng remained remarkably calm. He picked up the black spear the Orca King had dropped and hurled it with immense force. Blood bloomed as the spear, radiating dark light, pierced through the sea creature's heart, trailing a large amount of blood and pinning him firmly to the ground!

"Just another piece of seafood harvested on my path," Chu Feng stated.
