Chapter 1346: The Glory of the Lineage of the All-Mother Qi Cauldron

A surge of anger, a raging fire, welled up in Chu Feng’s heart. It wasn't due to the Nine-Headed Bird or Golden-Winged Yaksha tribes from the Yang Realm, but rather two other powerful forces.

Members of the Messenger clan from above the heavens had arrived. They possessed formidable foundations; even the fierce beasts guarding their mountain gate were Celestial Venerables, and their emanating aura had already permeated the secret realm.

However, this wasn't what infuriated him the most. Although the family from above the heavens was arrogant and domineering, explicitly ordering him to obey their commands and summons, it was a minor concern. He had already killed people and eliminated two messengers; there was nothing left to care about.

What truly stirred his emotions and made his blood boil was the appearance of that terrifying, mysterious, powerful, and malevolent family, which had caused such immense suffering to Yao Yao’s clan.

When he was in the Yang Realm, he wouldn't be who he was without Yao Yao. On Earth, Yao Yao protected him and gave him time to grow.

In the Great Abyss, at the very last moment, it was Yao Yao who, disintegrating her own body, cradled him—reduced to only blood and soul—and the stone jar in her hands, sending them out. She herself, however, plunged forever into the dark depths of the Great Abyss and never emerged.

Perhaps, if Yao Yao had reserved her last ounce of strength for herself at that moment, she could have survived and emerged. But in that instant, she saved Chu Feng, sent him out, and then vanished forever.

Whenever he thought of these things, Chu Feng felt a wrenching pain in his heart. Therefore, he cared deeply about anything related to Yao Yao, vowing to avenge her and always stand with her.

Today, he didn't yet possess the strength, but if he became powerful enough, he would surely return to the Lesser Netherworld, re-enter the Great Abyss, and find Yao Yao, whether she was alive or dead.

His heart trembled, yet he also hoped and yearned for a miracle, wishing that Yao Yao could reappear in the world, that she could return!

Today, at this very moment, he personally heard someone outside utter those words. It was the sworn enemy of Yao Yao’s lineage, the prime culprit family that had caused their clan untold misery, now revealing themselves. His fury erupted, and feeling their pain as his own, he resolved to act.

From Elder Yu Shang to Yao Yao, this lineage had suffered terribly!

Just for that mark, Celestial Venerable Yu Shang’s two sons, one daughter, and his grandson all died tragically, meeting with accidents. They had all been peerless geniuses, ranking among the top few in their respective realms, yet they met such a horrific end.

Later, only one posthumous child of that clan remained, imprisoned by the culprit family and used to propagate their bloodline—a truly sorrowful and desolate fate.

The last few remaining bloodlines were all used for experiments; some died, others were crippled.

In the end, only Yao Yao’s grandfather remained, but he suffered incredibly malicious treatment, becoming a living experiment for a powerful figure. Special mother gold was implanted within him, destined to make him lose his true nature and self, becoming like a walking corpse in later stages.

How cruel it was! To force Elder Yu Shang to hand over clues about the mark related to the “Myriad Things Mother Qi Cauldron,” the culprit family resorted to every conceivable vile method.

They directly ensured Elder Yu Shang had no descendants, as his brilliant children and grandchildren withered and died—a truly tragic outcome.

It was clear that Elder Yu Shang’s ancestors must have been incredibly prominent, capable of guarding the Mother Qi Cauldron and possessing the sole clue, indicating an unimaginable lineage.

It was only due to certain events—their inheritance being broken, unforeseen accidents, and gradual decline—that they became targets, pathetic prey.

According to Elder Yu Shang, there were actually several other branches of their clan, but they had all gone to war. If they were still in the Yang Realm, or had returned in this lifetime, how could they have been bullied to this extent, almost to the point of complete extinction?

Now, Yu Shang was close to death, with only a few months left to live, and Yao Yao had fallen forever into the Great Abyss. Both had shown great kindness to Chu Feng, and seeing them in such a predicament, how could Chu Feng’s heart not ache?

Especially now, with the culprits’ family appearing outside and gravely injuring Elder Yu Shang, causing him to cough up blood, his already limited months of life might be further diminished, leaving him with only a few days to live.

When Chu Feng turned back and stood at the entrance of the secret realm, his eyes were red, his hair bristled with rage, and he wished he could immediately wipe out the culprit family!

He wanted to vent his anger for Elder Yu Shang and avenge Yao Yao’s lineage!

“Cough!”

Outside, Elder Yu Shang’s face was ashen, devoid of color, and then grew increasingly sallow—a sign of a life force fading and a body withering.

That single blow had severely wounded him, making him even weaker.

“To think that my clan once shone across the heavens, our ancestors famous even beyond the myriad worlds, overlooking all creation,” Yu Shang said. “Yet, their descendants are now bullied. I have failed my ancestors, shamed their invincible name. I am a sinner.”

Yu Shang’s voice was low and weak, filled with genuine indignation and humiliation. His ancestors had left behind a cauldron that shook all realms, yet their lineage was now on the verge of extinction, having fallen to such a state.

This decline was linked to the disappearance of a crucial scripture from their inheritance, and also to a major unexpected calamity and misfortune their clan had once suffered.

In the distance, Chu Feng’s battle blood surged, his eyes gleaming. Seeing Elder Yu Shang, frail in his twilight years, white-haired and with clouded eyes, he felt increasingly pitiful and indignant for him.

He realized that Yu Shang’s ancestor must have been one of the former Heavenly Emperors.

He had witnessed the owner of the great black dog, lying prostrate on the shattered bell, and now he felt the rise and fall of another clan’s past. Such shifts between prosperity and decline made him feel a profound resonance and shared sorrow.

“I’m right here!” Chu Feng shouted. “Whoever wants the mark, come and take it!”

He was somewhat afraid, fearing that the being entirely covered in the luster of mother gold might attack Elder Yu Shang again; if that happened, he would go berserk.

However, the being entirely covered in metallic luster did not intend to attack. In their view, Yu Shang was the only living member of that lineage; his blood and his life were needed. Otherwise, how could they later enter the mysterious and magnificent mountains and rivers to search for that Imperial Weapon?

That person spoke, their voice as cold as their metallic exterior, accompanied by a sneering laugh: “Heh, who still believes those old legends? Many even doubt whether that person ever existed. Of course, our clan knows he did, but where is he? Where are the clues, everything he left behind? Even the Imperial Weapon is buried. We are just being kind, wanting to help you find that thing, to let the mother qi once again split the heavens, to make it reappear. Then, that person’s glory will also be remembered.”

Upon hearing these words, Elder Yu Shang’s body trembled with both rage and helplessness. He felt increasingly pathetic; his ancestors were once so dazzling and invincible, a single drop of their blood could pierce through eternity, yet now they were unable to continue that glory.

“Getting angry harms your health. You should live well, we still need you. Consider it the final use of waste. Your blood, your flesh—they’re still useful, they’re sacrifices. Without you, how can we enter the mysterious mountains and rivers, how can we obtain the mother qi? Heh heh…” The person laughed, their true form previously covered by cold metal. They appeared increasingly calm and indifferent, mocking Elder Yu Shang with merciless blows and taunts.

Then, they added: “Don’t think about taking your own life. Before you die, we will collect your blood. Furthermore, our clan has vast reserves of your children and grandchildren’s blood, preserved for all these years. Yes, we even have their heads, their hearts, their remains. Would you like to see them?”

Elder Yu Shang’s eyes were bloodshot and his vision blurred, shaking violently, on the verge of collapsing.

His heart ached, an unbearable pain. How outstanding and extraordinary his two sons and one daughter had been! At that time, their family was together, filled with laughter and warm affection. But in the end, it was so desolate, and now, hearing such words, how could he bear it?

Chu Feng was about to explode. After hearing those words, he desperately wanted to kill.

On the three battlefields, many onlookers watched in stunned silence, their minds reeling. They vaguely realized something, looking at Yu Shang, then at the being enveloped in mother gold.

Some of the top evolutionaries and Celestial Venerables had already realized who the newcomers were. Wearing mother gold as armor, this clan was terrifying in history, having vanished from the Yang Realm for endless ages, rarely appearing. Yet today, they made such an entrance!

This implied something significant: they knew what it meant, and that everything was under the clan’s control.

“A family that contended with Heavenly Emperors!” The Messenger clan from above the heavens were astonished, drawing this conclusion and guessing which power had appeared.

Some clans and families had not only persisted for several epochs but had also once contended with an Emperor, even if they were ultimately defeated.

Some of them survived, fleeing to other realms, licking their wounds outside the myriad worlds. And now, one day, they had returned!

“That person was strong, but so what? Where is he now? Our clan’s strongest supreme ancestor has revived, heh heh, ha ha…”

The person covered entirely in mother gold laughed, ostentatious and domineering, without any pretense.

“What?!” someone among the beings from above the heavens exclaimed, inexplicable shock in their heart.

“Are you in the Yang Realm? If not, stop talking big, get over here, and I’ll kill you!” Chu Feng retorted, his revulsion towards this clan reaching its peak. He felt that if he listened any longer, not just Celestial Venerable Yu Shang, but even he himself wouldn’t be able to bear it.

He felt he could understand Elder Yu Shang’s current emotions; his heart was bleeding, undoubtedly in immense pain. Chu Feng wanted to lure members of that clan into the small world and find a way to kill them.

Thus, Chu Feng spoke crudely, intending to provoke this person into entering. There was nothing more to say now; only by killing this person could he temporarily vent some of Elder Yu Shang’s anger.

“What are you, to earn Yu Shang’s favor? Oh, a Great Saint, impressive. But too bad you were born in the wrong era, in these times,” that person mocked, then added, “In this era, you won’t get a chance to shine. Before you even reach the God King or Celestial Venerable stage, you’ll probably be slapped into a pulp and trampled into a pool of foul blood. Am I right?”

With a faint, nonchalant smile, he calmly scrutinized Chu Feng, then waved a hand and said, “No surprise, you’ll die soon. Why don’t you come over and submit to us? We’ll give you a chance to live and grow.”

Chu Feng responded with a single, furious curse. He had rarely detested anyone so much. He felt that reasoning with such a clan was useless; only the most direct “greeting” was appropriate for them.

The person’s expression remained cold. “Fine,” they said, “we’ll take you first. The mark needs to return to the rightful hands. Of course, you and Yu Shang will need to cooperate. I advise you not to self-detonate or commit suicide, otherwise, Yu Shang’s situation will be dire.”

Chu Feng said coldly, “Your granddaddy is right here, waiting for you! If you’ve got the guts, come in, and I’ll wipe out all of you!”

“Heh heh, a fallen family, what more can they offer? That person won’t be back, ha ha, how laughable and pathetic, that former glory.” The person’s mother gold armor flared with light as they laughed heartily.

However, at that very moment, a wisp of mother qi streaked across the heavens and earth!

It rumbled continuously, the Grand Dao roared, shaking all the heavens!

“An Emperor, who dares insult him?!” At that moment, accompanied by the trembling of heaven and earth and a colossal roar, the entire firmament quaked violently, as if on the verge of collapsing.

At this instant, all living beings trembled, ready to prostrate themselves in worship!

Tears streamed down Elder Yu Shang’s clouded eyes in that moment. His clan had once been so brilliant, truly so! Who dared insult them?

Who would dare?

Now, seeing that wisp of mother qi and the instantaneous roar and violent tremor of the Grand Dao, Yu Shang wanted to weep openly, to howl up at the sky.
