Chapter 1171: Resentment Boiling

"Ji Dade, just you wait. Today, we will burn the blood of the Human King Ancestor to pinpoint your location, ensuring you have no burial ground!" The Mo family, thoroughly incensed, issued this menacing vow.

The world was aghast. To what extreme had the Mo family been pushed to resort to such a measure? The ancestor's blood was incredibly precious; even a single drop could sway the most powerful experts in the world. Yet, they were willing to seemingly waste a drop.

It was clear that the clan intended to burn ancestral blood to conduct divinations, precisely locate Ji Dade, and then eliminate him. However, even if that ancestor had left some blood, its quantity, passed down through generations to the present era, must be extremely limited. Had the Mo family gone mad?

Soon, people realized this was not merely about the Mo family's reputation but also a calculated act of deterrence, a swift and decisive measure. Having suffered a significant loss of prestige and reputation that day, the Mo family risked being perceived as inconsequential if they failed to eliminate Ji Dade and the monstrous dragon. Such a perception could quickly endanger the Mo family.

Over countless years, surviving from prehistoric times to the present, the Mo family had weathered many storms and remained standing, yet they had also accumulated a vast number of enemies. If they were now perceived as weak, it would be catastrophic. While not necessarily leading to an all-out assault, it would certainly invite provocations and opportunism, a truly dire situation. Ultimately, it could even lead to a "pack of wolves devouring a tiger" scenario.

Therefore, they were determined to decisively eliminate Ji Dade, bringing an end to this "farce" as quickly as possible. Indeed, the Mo family viewed the situation as nothing more than a ridiculous spectacle, believing that two mere youngsters had no right whatsoever to challenge them.

"It's over. This farce must conclude. You rat, you mere child, I will flay your skin, render your body fat into oil, and use it to fuel a lamp that burns for a century!" A chilling voice from the Mo family announced this declaration, resonating across all regions.

At that moment, Chu Feng paid no heed to them; instead, he was on a call with Dong Qing. "Sister Dong Qing, it's been a long time. I've missed you dearly."

Since their separation in the Borderlands, he hadn't seen or contacted Dong Qing in years. That day, Dong Qing reached out to Chu Feng via the Dark Forum, identifying herself directly as Dong Qing. After verification, it indeed proved to be her, and they were now conversing via a cosmic brain.

"Sister Dong Qing, it's been years, and you've become even more formidable and magnificent!" On the other end of the cosmic brain, Dong Qing's complexion visibly darkened. She bared her fanged maw and, in a rumbling voice, warned him to be cautious, threatening to beat his backside into eighteen pieces should they meet again!

Chu Feng offered a dry chuckle, then quickly shifted to warmly greet Dong Qing. At such a critical juncture, Dong Qing had contacted him out of concern, finding the young man to be an incessant source of trouble, constantly stirring up issues and causing great commotion.

Chu Feng, feigning humility and shyness, claimed he was actually quite low-key, blaming the Mo family for their excessive bullying. "Alright, stop gloating. You've already commissioned the Dark Organization to hunt down two of their Half-Step Heavenly Venerates. It's time to stop, hide away, and beware of grave danger!"

Dong Qing advised him to immediately seek refuge near certain forbidden zones in the Yang Realm, explaining that those areas could obscure celestial workings and avert great misfortune. "Sister Dong Qing, please don't worry about me; I'm perfectly fine. How are you all doing? By the way, if you're not busy, could you keep an eye on the Ji family tribe in the Borderlands, where we once lived? I'm concerned the Mo family might become desperate, unleashing a massacre and harming innocent people. Or perhaps, Sister Dong Qing, you could use your 'Sleeve Universe' ability to simply relocate the entire tribe?"

Chu Feng brought up the Ji family tribe in the Borderlands, a place where he had lived for a time after arriving in the Yang Realm and for which he held deep affection. Although he had requested Old Gu to dispatch powerful members of his organization to guard the Borderlands using his token, Chu Feng still harbored some concern, fearing the Mo family might resort to deranged acts.

"Rest assured," Dong Qing replied, "that is Miss's spiritual retreat. Should anything change, she will instinctively sense it and won't permit anyone to cause trouble." Chu Feng's heart stirred upon hearing this. On the back mountain of the Ji family tribe stood a dilapidated temple, suspected to be an ancient ruin. Was *that* the spiritual retreat of the "Miss" whom Dong Qing served?

"But the Mo family possesses great powers!" Chu Feng reminded her. "Heh, who is Miss?" Dong Qing responded with confidence, "She fears no one!"

Chu Feng was secretly astonished. Had that "Miss" achieved another breakthrough? He knew well that the Temple Fairy was a reincarnated being, her true origins utterly terrifying. It seemed she had now undergone yet another astonishing transformation!

At this point, Chu Feng felt completely at ease. He ended the call and then proceeded to respond to the Mo family. "You old ghouls of the Mo family, I, Ji Dade, will not retreat! Just wait to die!" Chu Feng defiantly challenged, firmly standing his ground.

Next, he began contacting an organization known as Tonggu. This colossal entity was not only a leader in the field of spatial teleportation but also remarkably powerful in other areas. It could be described as a veritable "black hole," unfathomably deep.

No one knew their origins; conservatively estimated, they dated back to the earliest prehistoric eras. At the very least, even Old Gu was unaware of their full details, knowing only that the organization was formidable and its true nature hard to ascertain.

"I can't help but feel they're somewhat similar to the Tongtian Express from the Lesser Netherworld," Chu Feng murmured. "Could there be a connection between the two?" He had already contacted Tonggu, requesting them to open a wormhole and "mail" over the corpse of one of the recently hunted Half-Step Heavenly Venerates.

Beyond its transportation services, the Tonggu organization also held significant media influence within the Yang Realm, including the Tonggu Newspaper. Furthermore, it controlled the "Tonggu Evolution Institute," one of the four most authoritative research institutions in the Yang Realm, on par with the Black Blood Institute. All evolutionary articles published by this institute were considered highly authoritative and profoundly thought-provoking.

Of course, there was a certain risk in having the Tonggu organization transport the Half-Step Heavenly Venerate's corpse. Human intentions were unpredictable; what if another entity followed it to eliminate Ji Dade? Chu Feng had prepared Reincarnation Soil and a Blackwood Spear, ready to launch a surprise attack at any moment. Should any entity attempt to follow, there would be no discussion; he would simply eliminate it.

Fortunately, everything proceeded without incident or unforeseen complications. After all, Chu Feng had specifically requested this transaction to be conducted publicly and notarized. If the Tonggu organization were to violate its principles, its reputation in the Yang Realm would be irrevocably tarnished.

Two Heavenly Venerates of the Mo family had perished. One was utterly annihilated, pulverized to dust, body and spirit obliterated. The other left a corpse, though it was a gruesome sight, indicating he had died with great resentment. This was Mo Lan, who, upon learning of his clan's troubles while traveling, had personally set out to track Ji Dade. He never anticipated being counter-killed. He had intended to capture Ji Dade, then slowly and brutally torment him.

Who could have imagined he would become a corpse himself? "Mo Lan has departed," Chu Feng drawled, standing on a desolate plain with the corpse at his feet, "He left peacefully, without pain, even with a smile on his face..." Beside him stood Old Gu and Dong Dahu. The three individuals and the corpse appeared together, their image broadcast via the cosmic brain.

This single broadcast caused an uproar within the Mo family; the entire clan was consumed by a rage that seemed to set the Yang Realm's sky ablaze. Every member of this ancient family, male and female, young and old, exuded an overwhelming killing intent. Some of the more temperamental individuals felt on the verge of exploding!

Who was Mo Lan? A Half-Step Heavenly Venerate, hunted to his death by the Dark Organization, and now he had been reduced to a mere backdrop! Ji Dade stood there, seemingly "mourning" him. This was an outrageous act of provocation, akin to defecating directly on the Mo family's neck! The Mo family's fury boiled over!
