Chapter 1100: Great Feast

Chu Feng was furious, his heart filled with soaring grief and indignation. Back then, Taiwu had sent down his avatar to the Lesser Netherworld, where he single-handedly dominated, killing a group of people including the Yellow Ox, Big Black, and the old Wudang Grandmaster. He had even crushed Chu Feng's parents into blood mist right before his eyes, slaughtering all his relatives and old friends.

This was an immense hatred, a bone-deep vendetta!

Years had passed, but now the old wounds were reopened. The Taiwu lineage showed no remorse, their words filled with mockery, insulting his deceased loved ones. How could Chu Feng not be consumed by anger and hatred? His blood boiled with rage!

Over the next two months, Chu Feng diligently practiced his breathing techniques. He either immersed himself in the special slumber of the Dream Ancient Path or used the Dao Yin Breathing Technique to nourish his body. Sometimes, he would also be blessed by Thunder Sound, his entire body enveloped in Buddhist light, sacred as a Buddha.

Finally, he confirmed that the Mountain Nectar's effects were no longer significant in the short term. Any further improvements would likely require years, but he could not afford to wait.

Another two months passed, and Chu Feng was certain that he had fully comprehended the Seven Treasures Divine Art, grasping all its profound mysteries. The seven types of Great Dao runes emanating from the branch no longer harmed him. Without a doubt, this complete and flawless technique was a trump card, a means of strategic deterrence even across the entire Yang Realm.

"What a pity," he thought. "At the end of the Reincarnation Land, my body was shattered repeatedly, and the three rare Heaven and Earth substances—Yin, Yang, and Gold—hidden within me all dispersed. Otherwise, I would have been able to cultivate secret arts of these three attributes by now." Being born directly into the Yang Realm with his physical body, even while hidden in the stone jar, Chu Feng paid a heavy price, losing some extremely precious items.

"However, something seems strange. Is there still a glimmer of hope?" For several years, while comprehending the Seven Treasures Divine Art, it seemed there were still remnants of the Yin-attributed Heaven and Earth rare substance? He could sense a wisp of this special substance within his body! It felt different from before, though. Treating it as a last resort, Chu Feng decided to use it as the foundation to cultivate a Yin-attributed secret art.

*Swish! Swish!*

Instantly, the branch of the Seven Treasures Ancient Tree, which was submerged in the pond, began to sway. Its leaves, vibrant with seven colors, included some that pulsed with black light, rustling and emanating a chilling Yin energy.

"Hmm, could it be... succeeding?!" Chu Feng was astonished. Previously, it had been merely a trace of the special substance. But ever since he had thoroughly comprehended the Seven Treasures Divine Art, as soon as he activated the technique, more of it began to condense. Wisps of black light proliferated within his body.

Chu Feng's heart trembled. He had a feeling, without even needing to ponder it, that this was a Heaven and Earth rare substance incredibly difficult to find anywhere in the world! Soon, he had an epiphany. In a daze, he saw the source of this substance: it was material he had picked up while traversing the path of reincarnation, throughout the entire transmigration process. That's right, where in this world is Yin energy most abundant? Naturally, it's the Underworld, specifically the areas experienced during transmigration. But how many people could possibly bring it out? Because Chu Feng was a stowaway, his physical body directly descending into the Yang Realm, he had become tainted with and carried out this most precious Yin-attributed substance. This was due to the protection of the stone jar, allowing it to be carried out. For anyone else, everything from their past would naturally be obliterated and stripped away at the end of reincarnation!

A streak of black light swept forth, seemingly capable of sweeping away suns, moons, stars, and all things in heaven and earth! It was wondrous. Although Chu Feng hadn't tested it on an enemy, he could already sense that its power was many times greater than the Yin-Yang Light he had previously cultivated. He was deeply moved. To have brought out such a Heaven and Earth rare substance after traversing the very end of the reincarnation path was something outsiders wouldn't even dare to imagine!

To cultivate the Seven Treasures Divine Art, the special substances collected were crucial; the more extraordinary they were, the more formidable the power of the completed art. "Excellent! I'll start collecting anew. I want treasures of even higher quality. I'll discard the old ones and replace them all!" Chu Feng no longer felt regret; instead, he laughed with delight.

"This is the foremost famous mountain in the Yang Realm. Does it contain any Heaven and Earth rare substances?" Chu Feng showed an unusual expression and began to search around. Unfortunately, there was nothing on this blood-colored plateau. It was desolate, barren, with only hard soil and rocks.

Suddenly, Chu Feng's heart stirred. Seeing the soil, he remembered a certain substance that he had also brought out of reincarnation. He pulled out a handful of Reincarnation Soil from the stone jar. In fact, he already had some on him, a layer smeared on his body, but he had never thought of refining or absorbing it before. Now, he decided to try. Opening his mouth, he swallowed a pinch of the soil.

"Hey, kid, are you crazy? Although it's 'soul meat,' even I don't know how to use it, and you just ate it?!" Gu Chenhai was startled.

"Guard me, your big brother!" Chu Feng said in an old-fashioned tone, sitting cross-legged on the ground and once again activating the Seven Treasures Divine Art. He felt there might be a pleasant surprise.

Instantly, his body began to glow with extreme brilliance, exceptionally sacred and dazzling, just as it had been on the Dream Ancient Path. All the soil particles became crystalline, flowing with mysterious radiance. Soon, driven by a certain instinct and under the guidance of the Seven Treasures Divine Art, Chu Feng absorbed a dense and unique substance.

"It really works! A Heaven and Earth rare treasure!" He couldn't help but exclaim in pleasant surprise. Then, to Gu Chenhai's stunned gaze, he continuously shoved soil into his mouth, devouring it mouthful by mouthful, wolfing it down.

"I say, hey, you've really gone mad! Don't tell me you've caught Number Nine's 'hunger compulsion,' wanting to eat everything you see!" Gu Chenhai was dumbfounded, shouting to try and wake him, convinced the kid had lost his mind. The donkey spirit was also wide-eyed, looking as if it had seen a ghost. It thought Ji Dade had gone crazy, beyond reason. Of all things to eat, he was eating dirt!

However, Chu Feng wore a look of utter satisfaction, as if he were... feasting, enjoying his meal immensely. "Simply wonderful!" Chu Feng laughed heartily. He had extracted an Earth-attributed Heaven and Earth rare treasure from the Reincarnation Soil. He estimated its rank was astonishingly high, no less than the Yin-attributed substance! Obtaining two top-tier rare substances in a single day was an immense gain, filling Chu Feng with immense satisfaction and inner fulfillment.

The donkey spirit pursed its lips. *Really? Getting so happy over eating dirt?* It stood at a distance with an expression as if watching an idiot, silently raising its two black hooves in contempt. It wanted to say that eating grass was the proper way, drinking Mountain Nectar was enjoyment, and only a fool would gnaw on dirt! However, it soon had an epiphany: perhaps this was the realm of a superior being, occasionally wanting to recall past hardships and chew on some mud to show a higher level of cultivation than ordinary people.

Chu Feng swept out a ray of light, earthy yellow in color, vast and weighty, like a heaven-overturning seal descending. It instantly made the void rumble, shaking the blood-colored plateau. Both Gu Chenhai and the donkey spirit immediately froze, no longer able to feel contempt or ridicule. They sensed an inexplicable, majestic pressure of order.

Chu Feng rose to his full height, retracting the earthy-colored light beam. "You... you've cultivated another attribute secret art?" Gu Chenhai's eyes went wide. But he quickly cried out again, "Do you know how much 'soul meat' you just ate? Nine huge mouthfuls! Back then, my big brother couldn't even get a handful. Is it worth squandering it so freely like this?!" He was heartbroken, believing 'soul meat' was priceless, and such consumption was far too extravagant.

Although he had consumed nine large mouthfuls, Chu Feng believed it was absolutely worth it. Besides, he still had a good amount of Reincarnation Soil on him; the one-meter-square interior of the stone jar had been more than half full. At this point, he opened his mouth and spat out some crystalline particles. He had absorbed the Earth-attributed rare substance from it, but the other components remained unabsorbed.

"What is this?" Gu Chenhai asked, surprised. Feeling ecstatic, Chu Feng couldn't help but show off, saying, "See? Your big brother ate dirt, but what I spat out is a treasure more precious than immortal gold."

The donkey spirit muttered softly, "My kind eats grass and produces milk."

Hearing this, Chu Feng instantly felt the meaning of his words had been spoiled. His nose almost twisted in anger as he scolded, "Idiot! Scram!" He kicked the donkey spirit off the small hill!

Although his excellent mood was affected, he was still content. He collected the crystalline particles and put them into the stone jar, believing they would definitely be of great use later.

Chu Feng said, "Second Bro, my training here is complete. I'm preparing to go somewhere else to deal with the Taiwu lineage. Before I leave, aren't you going to fish out a few billion-year-old decaying corpses from that blood lake and have a feast?"

Gu Chenhai immediately corrected him, saying, "Just call me Ninth Bro!" At the same time, he declared that he wouldn't touch Number Nine's blood food, not even if it killed him. He feared Number Nine might be looking for an excuse, and if he ended up being eaten like canned meat, there would be no one to appeal to.

Chu Feng said, "Look, even this donkey spirit is sleek and well-fed, completely different from before. Only you haven't gained anything." Indeed, the donkey spirit had gained immensely. By continuously drinking the Mountain Nectar here, its potential had skyrocketed. Its path, which previously had a clear end, was now much different. Over these past few months, it had shed its skin several times, and now its black fur was exceptionally shiny, gleaming like black satin. If not for its prominently long ears, it would genuinely resemble a noble black celestial steed. It bared its teeth, wagged its tail at Chu Feng, flattered him, and expressed its gratitude.

Gu Chenhai said, "Let's go. I have a sense of survival crisis in this place; I'm always afraid of being eaten. Let's find another famous mountain range; I'll evolve elsewhere."

"True, there will be many more opportunities," Chu Feng nodded, saying, "Once my cultivation is perfected, I'll definitely go to pluck the strongest fruits from various realms. In those secret lands, you'll always have a chance to feed."

Chu Feng decided to leave. He took out several spatial bottles, filled them with Mountain Nectar, wishing he could pack everything away. Finally, he tossed all the vessels into the stone jar. He didn't plan to return to this place unless absolutely necessary, not until he had grown much stronger. What truly lay in the deepest part of the blood-colored plateau? He dared not investigate it now; with Number Nine guarding it, he couldn't possibly get in. Finally, Chu Feng really wanted to pull out the branch of the Seven Treasures Ancient Tree, but after trying for a long time, he didn't succeed. He was swept away by the seven-colored Great Dao runes.

"Let's go!" Chu Feng set off.

"Where are you going next?" Gu Chenhai asked.

"I'm going to dig up Taiwu's ancestral graves. If any of his senior uncles or grandmasters are buried there, I'll dig them all out for you to eat!"

Gu Chenhai was speechless. He really wanted to say that this kid had gone mad again. Digging up the ancestral graves of a Martial Lunatic's grand-disciple — was he trying to ascend to heaven?!
