Chapter 471: Mystical Pattern Wonders (Mo Wen Regrets, Alliance Leader)

"Reverend Yuanwu!"

Li Xuanfeng's heart suddenly sank, but he noticed that Tang Shedou's expression wasn't as arrogant and overbearing as he had imagined. Instead, there was a hint of fear, as if he dared not show his face, his head slightly bowed. Reverend Yuanwu did not strike. Instead, he stared silently behind Li Xuanfeng with eyes full of golden patterns, his anger simmering beneath the surface. The atmosphere was so grim it felt as though water could drip from it.

Sure enough, a gentle breeze swept from behind, and a figure in green stepped forward, appearing before him. With arms crossed and the light golden jade seal at their waist gently swaying, the person spoke in a relaxed tone: "Senior Brother, long time no see."

This was none other than Reverend Yuansu, Ning Tiaoxiao! Reverend Yuanwu had likely learned of his disciple's death long ago and was waiting for Tang Shedou to emerge from the grotto-heaven before seeking him out. Reverend Yuansu, understanding that Yuanwu would come looking for him, had been waiting there early.

"Tiaoxiao, he killed my disciple."

Reverend Yuanwu's gaze was cold, but it was blocked by Yuansu standing in front of him. Li Xuanfeng also understood he shouldn't meet his gaze, so he lowered his eyes, mimicking Tang Shedou opposite him. Yuansu, however, smiled: "Senior Brother exaggerates! It's merely the death of one disciple. You have plenty of them. This junior was thoughtless and struck too hard while contending for a treasure... I imagine you wouldn't have let Yu Muxian achieve the Purple Mansion anyway, and he didn't have many days left to live. At most, we'll compensate you with some spiritual items, and that will be the end of it..."

Yuanwu's face darkened, and he murmured: "He was no ordinary disciple!"

Yuansu seemed to know the inside story but deliberately played dumb, saying casually: "His talent was indeed good."

"Ning Tiaoxiao! Yu Muxian had many secrets on him; perhaps he had obtained some fortunate encounter. These people killing him has ruined my plans!" Yuanwu shouted coldly, and two spiritual artifacts beside him began to spin rapidly. Yuansu, however, did not retreat an inch, looking directly at him and stating plainly: "What great fortune could it be? Senior Brother, be careful not to fall for any tricks."

The tension was palpable. The seawater roared softly, parting like a receding tide, with the two men as the dividing line. On one side, the water turned a light blue and boiled; on the other, it was golden and calm as a mirror. The powerful abilities of the two men subtly clashed in the air, their confrontation growing increasingly fierce. On the island, Lin Chensheng and Kan Ziyu's expressions changed drastically. They quickly rode the wind and dove into the water, escaping with their heads down, not even stopping to heal their injuries.

Just then, two more figures appeared in the Great Void. The leading Reverend, clad in a dark blue Daoist robe, arrived through the air. His hair was completely white, and his expression was serene. The two men confronting each other in the air immediately stopped. Reverend Yuanwu glanced slightly, his voice low: "Xiao Chuting?"

As soon as Xiao Chuting appeared, he immediately broke the standoff between the two. He stepped forward, a slight smile on his face, and addressed Reverend Yuanwu: "It's been so many years; it's rare to see you, senior."

Reverend Yuanwu's expression was not pleased. He glanced at the two men, and Xiao Chuting said softly: "I've come to offer an apology... My junior, in a moment of eagerness, caused the death of a Green Pond disciple... Now, the killer has been punished, so this dispute can be considered settled."

Reverend Yuansu toyed with his jade seal and casually agreed: "Indeed, indeed. Senior Brother has always loved the Yijin Stones. I'll send some over, and that should settle it! Let's not prolong this here any longer!"

With Yuansu's words, Yuanwu was given an out, and his expression eased slightly. Yet, Li Yuanjiao was dead, leaving him with nowhere to vent his anger, and a sense of doubt grew in his heart. Yuanwu believed Yu Muxian had many secrets, and his hasty death now made him suspicious. 'Could it be... this boy wanted to escape me and deliberately faked his death? But the events in the Great Void are about to begin... I can't delay any longer.'

Doubt filled his heart, his expression was gloomy, and his voice was low: "Since both of you Daoists have spoken, I will visit in a few days to discuss compensation."

Xiao Chuting and Yuansu seemed to have anticipated his concession. Watching him disappear, the two bowed to each other and parted ways. Yuansu casually dismissed Li Xuanfeng and Tang Shedou, saying softly: "We are going to gather in the Great Void. This matter is not yet concluded, so do not wander around. Settle your family affairs yourself, and return to my command in the Southern Border within three months." Without waiting for Li Xuanfeng's reply, he flicked his robe and vanished.

For a moment, heaven and earth were silent, with only the clean blue sea and bright sky remaining. It was as if the confrontation and struggle had never occurred, appearing calm and peaceful.

Once the Purple Mansion cultivators had vanished, Li Xuanfeng and Tang Shedou finally relaxed. They rode the wind together, but Li Xuanfeng felt utterly exhausted, lacking even the energy to respond to his niece. They traveled by wind through the air until they reached the edge of Salty Lake. Li Xuanfeng nearly tumbled headfirst from the clouds and had no choice but to land and sit cross-legged to recover.

Li Qinghong stood guard for him, taking out the relics Li Xuanfeng had handed her earlier. She dared not open the jade box to look, silently holding it for a while before carefully setting it aside. She then took out a jade bottle from her waist, one of Li Yuanjiao's relics and a Foundation Establishment artifact, and examined it closely. "This should be the Foundation Establishment artifact, the Mysterious Mark Bottle..." At the mention of the name, Li Qinghong's lips curved downwards again, and she choked back a sob.

This Mysterious Mark Jade Bottle was no wider than two fingers, simple yet elegant, and covered in dark silver mysterious patterns. Li Qinghong paused for a moment and infused it with true essence. The patterns on the jade bottle visibly lit up one by one. The silver mysterious patterns transformed, surprisingly combining and changing before her somewhat astonished eyes, converting from cloud-mist patterns into fractured lightning patterns, as if covered in various cracks. As the small bottle had lost its owner, she refined it in an instant. She then watched as its brilliance flickered one by one, and a black thundercloud emerged from it. "Hmm?!"

No sooner had the lightning appeared than Li Qinghong pressed it down. She looked back at Li Xuanfeng in the stone cave with concern, then moved away for a moment to examine it closely. From the mysterious mark jade bottle, which had dark purple patterns on a silver-white base, a black cloud soared up, rising into the sky and spreading, transforming into a thundercloud that violently struck the ground. "Its power is decent... at least enough to hinder Foundation Establishment cultivators." She pondered for a moment, inverted the Mysterious Mark Bottle, and raised her hand, allowing it to float in the air.

"Boom!" With a thunderous roar, purple lightning storms erupted from the small bottle, spewing forth and howling through the air, appearing formidable as they struck the mountaintop, leaving behind scorched earth. "This has greater power! It can almost match the full strike of a regular early-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator!" Li Qinghong had seen her brother use this artifact many times, and she immediately understood: "This artifact is probably not as simple as it appears. Perhaps because the immortal foundation of the one who binds it differs... it produces different effects... No wonder it's an ancient artifact! So that's it!"

She swept her spiritual sense over it, and at the bottom of the bottle, a few small characters were inscribed on the patterns: "Li Qianyuan of the Li Clan, Wei Kingdom."

Li Qinghong quietly put it away, only to see that the array in front of the stone cave had dissolved. Li Xuanfeng walked out, his dark golden armor gleaming, his complexion much better than before. He looked at the jade bottle at her waist and murmured: "What's wrong?"
