"Once you pass the trials of the ancient spirits, you will possess the most profound knowledge and the authority to lead the Creator Race," God King Langwo continued.
Qin Mu, who had been feeling somewhat uneasy, immediately felt reinvigorated upon hearing this.
"For the next two days, you will remain here, and I will instruct you in the visualization combat method."
God King Langwo said, "Although two days are short, I believe that with the Holy Infant's wisdom, you can essentially master the visualization combat method. Ideally, you should be able to combine your visualization with your own vital qi."
Qin Mu, feeling gaunt and concerned about his blood and spirit not keeping up, quickly took out a drop of Primordial Liquid and flicked it into his Spirit Embryo Divine Treasure to replenish his vital qi and spirit.
Seeing this, God King Langwo couldn't help but frown and ask, "Are you helping God King Shu Jun restore his physical body?"
Qin Mu nodded.
"God King Shu Jun is old and obsolete, and he's stubbornly opinionated. There's no need to save him."
God King Langwo added, "If you can't bring yourself to do it, I can help you eliminate him. It's quite easy to refine him to death."
Inside the primordial stone, Shu Jun raged furiously, cursing God King Langwo for her ruthlessness and disregard for kinship.
Qin Mu shook his head and said, "I promised Shu Jun I'd help him restore his mind, and I will see it through. God King, if I were a deceitful person, would you still trust me so implicitly?"
God King Langwo thought for a moment, then shook her head.
Qin Mu's complexion recovered slightly, and he retained about twenty to thirty percent of his spirit, ensuring he could still activate his spirit-based divine abilities.
God King Langwo circulated her spirit, slowly visualizing. A rune gradually appeared before her, transitioning from illusory to solid, becoming clearer by the moment.
Qin Mu followed her, learning bit by bit, and also attempted to visualize runes with his spirit.
God King Langwo taught very meticulously, and Qin Mu learned exceptionally quickly. The runes she taught him were all foundational, and Qin Mu was already a master in this area, making it easy for him to pick them up.
He could even point out deficiencies in God King Langwo's runes and complete them.
The Creator Race often imbued their descendants with knowledge directly through their spirits. However, this method had a drawback: it made it difficult to discover errors made by predecessors.
God King Langwo, however, abandoned this method. She chose the most painstaking way, teaching Qin Mu hand in hand, instead of directly imbuing him with knowledge.
She also wanted Qin Mu to point out her shortcomings.
While the Creators had researched foundational runes, they had, after all, resided in the Beyond Realm for hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of years, and spent even longer in the Great Void. Their interaction with the outside world was minimal; they could only secretly learn runes from carefree lands. As a result, their mastery of runes was inferior to Qin Mu's.
However, their mastery of spirit-based divine abilities was far beyond anything Qin Mu could achieve.
Although God King Langwo was ostensibly teaching him, in reality, they were learning from each other.
Time passed quickly. Before he knew it, a day had gone by, and Qin Mu was already adept at visualizing various foundational runes. With a mere thought, his spirit would construct the rune.
He also discovered that runes formed by combining spirit and vital qi were far more potent, several times more powerful than runes created solely from vital qi or spirit.
Inside the Azure Feather Hall, God King Langwo, with her ethereal grace, visualized a green serpent. She stood atop its head as the massive snake lunged, engaging Qin Mu in combat.
Qin Mu, in turn, stood atop a white serpent he had visualized, conjuring various divine abilities to fend off her attacks. He merged his previously learned and understood Dao arts and divine abilities with visualization, enhancing their power.
The two unleashed a myriad of visualized divine abilities. With a wave of a hand, celestial flowers rained down; with a stroke, the starry sky erupted. A flicker of divine sense brought down heavenly fire, incinerating the world, and another tremor of divine sense caused meteors to fall, shaking the earth.
They visualized portals, each containing a world. The two great serpents, one green and one white, carried them through these portals, traversing the visualized worlds—roaming towering mountains, crossing vast oceans, and moving through glaciers and great swamps, appearing and disappearing unpredictably.
Finally, the green and white serpents intertwined, their bodies spiraling, bringing their forms higher and closer. Various visualized divine abilities danced around them, transforming into myriad phenomena, continuously colliding and annihilating each other.
Qin Mu's visualized divine abilities were ever-changing, integrating visualization with the Grand Dao of ancient gods and acquired Daos. His vast array of techniques dazzled even God King Langwo.
The entangled green and white serpents brought their forms closer and closer, intensifying the collision of their divine abilities.
At last, they were within arm's reach. The two coiled serpents made them seem like two mutually rotating stars, their combat growing fiercer, with an endless stream of divine abilities.
Suddenly, a flower bud was visualized in Qin Mu's hand. The flower slowly blossomed, a captivating riot of colors.
Its numerous petals unfurled outwards in succession, its stamens extended, and a rich fragrance permeated the air.
God King Langwo spotted an opening, raised a hand, and tapped Qin Mu's glabella, her spirit invading his body.
Just then, the exquisite flower was offered to her. Qin Mu smiled and said, "This is for you."
God King Langwo paused, withdrew her finger and her spirit, and calmly stated, "This was a test to assess your progress over these two days. You became distracted, which disappoints me."
She took the vibrant flower from Qin Mu's hand, turned, and brought it to her lips to inhale its sweet, soul-refreshing scent.
God King Langwo revealed a faint smile. She stepped barefoot from the green serpent's head, her voice drifting back, "Don't do that again... Aren't you coming? The Great Sacrifice is about to begin."
Qin Mu quickly leaped from the white serpent's head and followed her steps.
Behind them, the two serpents, green and white, remained intertwined in an embrace, then suddenly separated, their necks entwined as they swam into the forest surrounding the Azure Feather Hall.
Qin Mu arrived at the pool of Primordial Liquid, taking out several jade bottles to fill them. Seeing this, God King Langwo shook her head. "Your bottles are too small; how much can they hold? I detect the aura of a Vast Sky Bottle from the Zangshan clan on you. Just use that bottle to collect some."
Qin Mu took out the Vast Sky Bottle gifted to him by the Zangshan clan leader. Inside this bottle was an entire universe, its internal space vast and boundless. It could easily hold not just a pool of water, but even a piece of the starry sky!
God King Langwo waved her hand, and a tenth of the pool's water, a tenth of the Primordial Liquid, flew into the Vast Sky Bottle.
"So much?"
Qin Mu's heart pounded. He had only intended to fill a few bottles of Primordial Liquid, never expecting God King Langwo to bestow a tenth of the entire pool upon him.
"You may exit the hall first."
God King Langwo glanced at him and said, "I will come to preside over the Great Sacrifice shortly."
Qin Mu affirmed, and walked out of the hall.
God King Langwo watched him leave, then gracefully approached the pool. She tossed the flower from her hand, watching it drift into the water and then take root and sprout within the pool, finally revealing a warm smile.
"A visualized flower withers easily, but planted here, it will bloom forever with constant nourishment."
Outside the Azure Feather Hall, Qin Mu saw that the various Creator clans had already prepared altars. Hundreds of Creators surrounded each altar, their brows radiating light, concentrating their collective sacrificial power into a rippling liquid light in the hollow center of the altar.
Straight beams of light shot up from the center of the altars, piercing directly into the sky.
There were a great number of altars, as many as three to five thousand. Three to five thousand beams of light surged into the void, causing it to constantly ripple, and the sky even took on a crimson hue.
Given this spectacle, it seemed they had only left a few Creators to guard against a counterattack from Carefree Village; everyone else had gathered here to perform this Great Sacrifice!
Qin Mu had not anticipated that opening the Ancestral Spirit World would involve such a grand scene!
He looked back and saw a giant rhomboid vertical eye slowly rising behind the Azure Feather Hall. That was the Ancestral Spirit World, summoned from the void by this Great Sacrifice, growing larger and ascending higher.
This world was formed by the fusion of primordial stones and the spirits of Creators who had died here. In the past, it lay hidden in the void, untraceable. Only upon a Creator's death would their spirit sense the Ancestral Spirit World's call, drawing them there to become part of its surging collective spirit, eternally preserved to silently guard the Beyond Realm.
Qin Mu composed himself and searched around for Patriarch Can Nu of the Zili clan. He finally found the female Creator, who was also leading her Zili tribesmen in the sacrifice, drawing the Ancestral Spirit World out of the void.
Qin Mu's heart swelled with joy. He immediately flew over and hovered before the majestic female Creator, smiling, "Patriarch, I've obtained the Primordial Liquid!"
Can Nu's spirit fluctuated, showing signs of strain. She spoke with exasperation, "Why are you here? This Great Sacrifice is almost complete! Go back quickly and prepare to enter the Ancestral Spirit World!"
Qin Mu chuckled, "I promised to get some Primordial Liquid for you. Where is your clan's sacred Seven-Soul Grass?"
Can Nu hastily replied, "I cannot be distracted now. Holy Infant, summoning the Ancestral Spirit World is of utmost importance! Please go back quickly, or the God King will scold me again!"
Qin Mu was about to speak again when a surge of spirit suddenly enveloped him, whisking him away. The next moment, Qin Mu found himself back in front of the Azure Feather Hall, with God King Langwo beside him.
God King Langwo had by now resumed her true Creator form, appearing immensely grand. She was looking up at the sky, where the Ancestral Spirit World had risen very high. The rhomboid eye in the sky grew larger and larger, gradually revealing the sights within.
Inside the Ancestral Spirit World, luminous waves, as if formed by countless brains, flowed continuously, a truly peculiar sight.
Finally, with a thunderous tremor from the sky, the Ancestral Spirit World halted its ascent, and the giant rhomboid eye ceased expanding.
"It's ready."
God King Langwo looked at Qin Mu and said, "You can now enter the Ancestral Spirit World. However, Shu Jun cannot enter; he is not the Holy Infant and lacks the qualification. God King Shu Jun, aren't you coming out?"
Qin Mu's vertical eye between his brows opened, and Shu Jun's large head, topped with messy hair, angrily flew out from Qin Mu's glabella. "Those who are not Creators can enter the Ancestral Spirit World, but a God King who *is* a Creator cannot? What kind of logic is that?" he fumed.
Qin Mu reassured him, "Don't worry, God King. If I obtain the inheritance of the Creator Race, I will pass it on to you."
God King Langwo shook her head. "He is not qualified. The God Kings of prehistory are no longer God Kings, and furthermore, the defeat of the Creator Race is largely connected to him... Let's go!"
She cupped Qin Mu in her hand, flying higher and higher towards the Ancestral Spirit World.
In the sky, the giant rhomboid eye suddenly rolled, as if observing them. Then, a beam of light shone down, and Qin Mu and God King Langwo instantly vanished from the Beyond Realm!
