Chapter 751: Unbearable to Recall

The military token left by the founding patriarch gradually shed its ancient marks, slowly becoming brand new. The jade token was crystal clear, as if it had just been forged.

Qin Mu examined the characters and runes, his expression peculiar. These were indeed characters from the Dragon Han era, differing only slightly from the characters and runes on Old Ox's Golden Guard token.

Having traveled back to the early Dragon Han period, Qin Mu had encountered the writing of that era. Although different from later scripts, he could still recognize most of it.

The characters on the military token were seal script divine characters, specifically "bird-seal and insect-script."

These characters contained the profound mysteries of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth. Some sects practicing the Dao of Runes in the present world used bird-seal and insect-script, but there was still a gap compared to true divine characters.

After all, many of the divine characters from the early Dragon Han period were lost over the long stretch of time.

The two military tokens were not a single piece. The Golden Guard was a general tasked with defending Jade Capital City for the Heavenly Court, and its token had the raised characters for "Golden Guard."

This particular military token, however, used intaglio carving, displaying the characters for "Feathered Forest."

"The Heavenly Court's Feathered Forest Army?"

Qin Mu blinked. "Which Heavenly Court's Feathered Forest Army?"

During the Dragon Han era, there were three Heavenly Courts, and it was likely each had its own Feathered Forest Army. It was difficult to determine which Heavenly Court this token belonged to based solely on the one left by the founding patriarch.

The runes on the military token constituted a command art, used to command various gods.

Command arts were a type of formation art, extremely profound. Those skilled in command arts were now exceedingly rare in the world.

During the current reforms in Eternal Peace, the Imperial Preceptor lacked knowledge of command arts. Fortunately, the blind elder, a grandmaster of formation arts, emerged and compiled a set of command arts for Eternal Peace's army.

"Why did Senior Brother leave this military token? Where did he get it from? He must have had a profound reason for leaving it! Perhaps this token belongs to the extraterritorial Heavenly Court! If we know which Heavenly Court it belongs to, we can uncover the true identity of the extraterritorial Heavenly Court!"

A thought suddenly sprang into Qin Mu's mind: "Could Senior Brother have also traveled to the Dragon Han era?"

He immediately shook his head. The military token was very ancient. If Senior Brother had traveled to the Dragon Han era and brought this Feathered Forest token back, then it should look new, just like Old Ox's token.

The token had become brand new because the runes and command arts within it were triggered by Old Ox's token, washing away the traces of time. However, the original token had indeed endured a long period to appear as it did.

"Unless he traveled to the Dragon Han era and never returned."

A strange feeling arose in Qin Mu's heart, but he dismissed the idea. The conjecture was too absurd. If the founding patriarch hadn't returned, wouldn't that mean he was perpetually stuck in either day or night?

Was there truly such a place in the world that was always day or always night?

"There actually is."

His expression turned strange again. "Mystic Capital is always in daylight, and the Ancient God Heavenly Court is also always in daylight, while Youdu is always in night, without the alternation of day and night. If Senior Brother stayed in Youdu, Mystic Capital, or the Heavenly Court, he could indeed remain in the past. Why am I even thinking about such things? Senior Brother couldn't possibly be stuck in the past."

He burst into laughter, put away the Feathered Forest military token, and walked toward the broken cliff with Old Ox. He thought to himself, "The command art in these runes is meant to command the Feathered Forest Army, but I don't know which Heavenly Court's Feathered Forest Army it commands. Perhaps that Heavenly Court has already been destroyed and no longer exists. The token is likely useless now, but its command art could be given to Grandpa Blind for him to study."

Old Ox avoided the Surging River beneath the cliff, clearly wary of it.

"Senior Brother San Duo, Martial Combat Heavenly Master asked you to escort me to the Yin World, which is right below the cliff."

Qin Mu smiled. "You can go back now; there's no need to escort me further. I'll go to the Yin World first to see if Sister Di Yiyue has arrived before making any decisions."

Old Ox hesitated, then shook his head. "I don't really want to go back. My master is a very boring person; all he does is practice martial arts and punch every day. I'm left to drink tea and smoke my water pipe, and when I'm too bored, I plough the fields. I've found that following you is much more interesting. As long as you don't mess around too much, it's far more amusing than being with him."

Qin Mu chuckled. "If Martial Combat Heavenly Master knew I 'kidnapped' you, wouldn't he punch me to death?"

Old Ox burst into laughter, standing on his hind legs with his front hooves on his hips. "Does he dare? With the Golden Guard of the Primordial Heavenly Court here, would I let him act wildly?"

They both laughed heartily.

Qin Mu entered the Yin World with him. Niu San Duo chuckled, "I once met the Heavenly Yin Goddess in the Dragon Han Heavenly Court. She was truly powerful. I wonder if she remembers us."

Upon arriving in the Yin World, they saw many Eternal Peace scholars constructing pavilions and buildings, seemingly planning to settle there. Some scholars were also practicing Yin World divine abilities, but the Heavenly Yin Goddess was not present.

Qin Mu was surprised and inquired. A scholar replied, "To answer the Cult Master, the Goddess went to visit an old acquaintance and has been gone for several days."

"Have Heavenly King Tian Shu and Heavenly King Di come?"

"We haven't seen them."

Qin Mu had no choice but to leave the Yin World. "The Heavenly Yin Goddess went to visit an old acquaintance? She died in the Dragon Han era, so her acquaintances are most likely ancient gods. I wonder which ancient god she went to visit?"

Niu San Duo carried him and galloped all the way, quickly reaching the opposite side of Grand Emperor Heaven. Qin Mu looked back and saw six or seven huge solar and lunar ships moving across the sky above Grand Emperor Heaven.

In Luo Fu Heaven, there were also several solar and lunar ships, illuminating Luo Fu Heaven and fostering the growth of all things.

At this time, Grand Emperor Heaven and Luo Fu Heaven surprisingly had a few scattered cities, likely built by True God Pang Yu and Furi Luo leading their remaining forces.

"The Imperial Preceptor is truly fast!"

Qin Mu praised repeatedly. By afternoon, they arrived at Xianglong City.

Outside the city, some divine arts practitioners were harvesting rice. Niu San Duo, feeling an itch to participate, ran over and ploughed more than ten *mu* of land. Qin Mu called out repeatedly, and only then did the old ox reluctantly leave the rice fields, chuckling, "I finally got my fill! I've been so bored these past few days!"

They entered the city and passed through the boundary between life and death to enter Fengdu. Suddenly, continuous rumbling vibrations echoed. Qin Mu stood on the bridge and watched as the heavens and earth of Fengdu continuously vibrated, the dark continent expanded, and new lands were being opened up piece by piece!

Di Yiyue, Heavenly King Tian Shu, and King Yama each employed their methods to open up the heavens and earth of Fengdu. Demonic flames continuously surged from the earth, connecting with the Naihe River in Fengdu.

The earth quaked, and mountains rose from the ground. Fengdu's space was rapidly expanding.

Qin Mu stared, dumbfounded and bewildered.

"Fengdu is one of Earth Count's horns; it's both a world and a treasure."

Old Ox, however, was well-traveled and knowledgeable. He explained, "If Earth Count's horn were refined into a treasure, its power would be immense, making it an peerless divine weapon. Back then, my master planned to pull out one of Earth Count's horns to forge a blade. However, after going to Youdu, he was beaten back by the Benevolent Saintly King of Heaven's Qi and was quite disheveled. The Benevolent Saintly King of Heaven's Qi pursued him relentlessly. Fortunately, I ran fast and carried him to Mystic Capital, which saved my master's life."

Qin Mu was caught between laughter and tears. Did Martial Combat Heavenly Master have such an ignominious past?

"Another function of Earth Count's horn is to transform into a vast world."

Old Ox continued, "King Yama is a junior after all; he doesn't know the true power of Earth Count's horn. The original Fengdu was too small. If its full potential could be unleashed, it would be even larger than Grand Emperor Heaven and Luo Fu Heaven combined."

Di Yiyue, Heavenly King Tian Shu, and King Yama transformed into towering deities, walking through the darkness. They cast out seal after seal, continuously expanding the space. The earth shook and mountains swayed, a truly astonishing sight.

Qin Mu even felt an increasingly strong set of rules in Fengdu—the rules of Youdu. Although Fengdu was just a small fragment of Earth Count's horn, the Youdu rules it contained were incredibly astonishing!

"In the past, the realm of the living dead couldn't suppress true gods or experts at the Jade Pool realm. Now, I'm afraid even gods at the Jade Pool realm who enter the boundary between life and death would be suppressed and turn into skeletons."

He observed carefully. The seals these three performed were Youdu seals, and Heavenly King Tian Shu was the most proficient. As expected of someone crowned King of the Underworld by Earth Count, his mastery of Youdu divine abilities was indeed unfathomable.

Heavenly King Tian Shu, with the Emperor's Defect Divine Blade on his back, exuded a domineering aura with every move.

"Tian Shu has been drinking."

Qin Mu observed for a moment, then stated with certainty, "If he hadn't been drinking, he wouldn't have this kind of domineering aura."

Di Yiyue and King Yama were somewhat clumsy when performing the seals, clearly having just learned them from Tian Shu, and were not yet entirely adept.

"King Yama, after all, specializes in Youdu's Dao arts and divine abilities, so it's natural for him to learn Heavenly King Tian Shu's seals. But how could Sister Di Yiyue also learn them?"

Puzzled, Qin Mu asked, "Senior Brother San Duo, why can Sister Di Yiyue use various divine abilities? Is she also a Hegemon Body?"

Old Ox shook his head. "What Hegemon Body? The First Heavenly King possesses a peculiar spiritual body, an All-Spirit Body that has almost no attribute limitations. It's said that an All-Spirit Body has the bloodline of Heavenly Duke, which allows them to easily learn any cultivation method or divine ability. Back then, Emperor Kai harbored great expectations for her and went to great lengths to have her apprentice under the Four Emperors."

"An All-Spirit Body with Heavenly Duke's bloodline?"

Qin Mu was utterly stunned. He immediately uncovered the willow leaf on his brow, and his undying divine consciousness surged into the Qin character continent, asking, "Heavenly Duke, do you know about All-Spirit Bodies?"

The white-browed, white-bearded old man, hearing this, immediately became alert. "Qin, what do you know?"

Qin Mu quickly withdrew his undying divine consciousness and placed the willow leaf back on his brow, chuckling. "Everyone says Heavenly Duke is as selfless as Earth Count, but it turns out you also have an unpleasant past."

"Besides the All-Spirit Body, there's also the Netherworld Body."

Old Ox continued, "The Netherworld Body is related to Earth Count; it's said to possess Earth Count's bloodline. Both these bloodlines are extremely rare. The First Heavenly King is an All-Spirit Body, and Emperor Kai also intended to find a Netherworld Body, but he never succeeded."

Qin Mu exclaimed, "Earth Count? Earth Count also has such a history?"

Old Ox wagged his tail. "I don't know the specifics, I just heard about such spirit bodies."

Qin Mu composed himself, feeling something collapse within his heart.

Suddenly, the dark Naihe River beneath the bridge churned. From the darkness, a beautiful face slowly emerged, gazing at Qin Mu on the bridge.

Qin Mu looked down at the bridge and saw the beautiful woman with a long snake tail, swaying it amidst the darkness and flames.

Qin Mu's heart skipped a beat, then he relaxed, smiling, "Lu Li?"

"Qin Fengqing," the beautiful woman returned the smile.

"Are you looking for my brother?"

Qin Mu chuckled, "Wait a moment, I'll call my brother out to see you."
