He surveyed the ancient and weathered divine city, stating calmly, “This means there’s something extremely formidable within this city, something capable of breaking our Ten Celestial Venerables’ seals, and even those of the Celestial Emperor and Grand Emperor!”

Consort Yan, Consort Qiang, Shi Qiluo, and Palace Celestial Venerable felt a chill in their hearts. If something could break their seals, they feared the power Qin Mu had borrowed was no weaker than theirs, perhaps even stronger!

While the other Celestial Venerables were unaware of the horrors here, Consort Yan, Consort Qiang, Shi Qiluo, and Palace Celestial Venerable had been here before and remembered it vividly.

Consort Yan, Consort Qiang, Shi Qiluo, and Palace Celestial Venerable also remembered the painting and the figure within it, their hearts pounding. They stated solemnly, “He cannot be released!”

Ancestral God King and Palace Celestial Venerable deferred to Celestial Venerable Hao’s lead. Void Celestial Venerable and Divine Emperor Lang Xuan also had no choice but to follow. The nine Celestial Venerables, along with the Grand Ultimate Ancient God, walked into the city.

The two ancient gods’ gazes remained fixed behind Celestial Venerable Hao. Others couldn't see Grand Prime behind Celestial Venerable Hao, but they could see Grand Prime’s true form.

“This place is indeed quite eerie. For Celestial Venerable Mu to find such a place, his abilities are truly extraordinary,” Divine Emperor Lang Xuan exclaimed, his Dao fruit spinning behind his head.

The nine Celestial Venerables entered the city. The sights they encountered along the way were similar to what Wei Sui Feng and Shu Jun had seen. Consort Qiang conjured the two divine blades from the Ancestral Court’s God Slaying Platform. The blades, swaying their heads and tails, crisscrossed and slashed, severing the Dao tree with a resounding crash. She declared, “In this world, only the Grand Emperor, an invincible being, has cultivated a Dao tree, immortal and everlasting, coexisting with heaven and earth. And only I can slay a Dao tree!”

From where the Dao tree was severed, crimson blood astonishingly flowed from the trunk. The blood was permeated with radiant light, which then flew out to strike at everyone!

The nine Celestial Venerables each moved to resist, dispelling the radiant light, feeling inwardly startled.

Even they found it somewhat difficult to contend with this radiant light.

The hall was currently pierced by a Dao tree, and on that tree hung a Dao fruit. The Dao fruit was decayed and suspended before the entrance, riddled with holes from the seals.

Inside the Dao fruit was a naked woman, already dead.

“What a pity, what a pity,” Divine Emperor Lang Xuan sighed, shaking his head. “That Celestial Venerable Mu, he doesn’t know how to cherish beauty; he only destroys it with a cruel hand. We cannot indulge him any longer this time; he must be eliminated.”

The other Celestial Venerables nodded in agreement.

Ancestral God King frowned, “The seals are broken. That Celestial Venerable Mu is very cunning; he has likely already escaped with the prisoner from here.”

“No,” Palace Celestial Venerable said calmly. “Even if he breaks the seals of Perfumed Palace, he absolutely cannot escape from within it. Once he enters the hall, he can forget about escaping.”

Celestial Venerable Hao, Fire Celestial Venerable, and the others looked at her with strange expressions; Palace Celestial Venerable clearly knew many secrets about Perfumed Palace.
