Chapter 1349: Tubo Awaits Death

Tu Bo turned and looked at him, seemingly not understanding his meaning. The two horns on his head glowed with fire, like rivers of magma.

Qin Mu, facing the gaze of this majestic being, felt no panic. He smiled faintly and said, "Since we are allies, shouldn't we be open with each other about certain things? Heavenly Emperor has his ways of escaping his constraints. As the Lord of Youdu, an existence on par with Heavenly Emperor, surely Tu Bo wouldn't lack his own corresponding methods?"

Tu Bo's primordial spirit was silent for a moment, then said, "You think I should have a way to protect myself?"

Qin Mu chuckled. "It's not what I think; it's what you *should* have. If you didn't, *that* would surprise me."

Tu Bo was silent again for a moment, then said, "I do."

Qin Mu's spirits lifted, and he looked at Tu Bo with bright, piercing eyes, waiting for him to continue.

However, Tu Bo fell silent again and did not elaborate.

Qin Mu's curiosity was piqued, and he probed, "What exactly is Tu Bo's method?"

Only then did Tu Bo continue, "Like Heavenly Emperor, I use methods to escape the restrictions of the Youdu Grand Dao."

Qin Mu waited for a moment, but Tu Bo still didn't continue. He couldn't help but exclaim in frustration, "You... this deity, why do you speak like a sawed-mouth gourd, only dropping one seed at a time? Tu Bo, have you been with You Tianzun for so long that you've become reclusive too?"

Tu Bo glanced at him and slowly said, "You are truly impatient. Ren Shengwang and I get along very well; we often sit together, drinking tea and chatting."

Qin Mu couldn't imagine such a scenario.

How could two sawed-mouth gourds possibly chat, with each person spitting out one word at a time?

"Come with me."

Tu Bo's primordial spirit walked into the palace complex. Qin Mu, his curiosity again piqued, hurriedly followed him. Inside the palace, the Apothecary was still treating You Tianzun. Yue Tianzun saw them, quickly followed, and whispered, "You Tianzun's injuries are very troublesome... Where are you going?"

Qin Mu quietly explained. Yue Tianzun's curiosity was also stirred, and she said, "Tu Bo's divine power is vast; his methods must be incredibly astonishing."

The two followed Tu Bo to the edge of a magma pool inside the palace. Tu Bo's primordial spirit stepped into the magma pool, and they followed him in.

The magma wasn't hot; it didn't feel like magma at all, but rather a strange liquid.

Qin Mu wondered internally. Tu Bo, this sacred being, was extremely peculiar. He had no physical body in the traditional sense; his form was composed of countless dead worlds, devoid of life force.

For beings with physical bodies, it was difficult to comprehend such a life form, yet Tu Bo undeniably existed.

In fact, the same was true for Heavenly Emperor.

Heavenly Emperor's body was composed of countless suns and rays of light, also without a traditional physical form.

Among the ancient gods born of the Dao, these two were the most unusual. Other ancient gods born of the Dao, such as Tian Yin Niangniang and the Empress Sisters, all had physical bodies. Qin Mu had conducted deep and thorough research into the physical bodies of Tian Yin Niangniang and the Empress Sisters.

They passed through endless magma and entered Tu Bo's interior. The space suddenly became vast. Although it was still endlessly dark inside, points of light could be seen everywhere, and there were simply too many of them.

Qin Mu opened his vertical eye between his brows to look, and the sight he beheld struck him as strange.

The points of light he saw were innumerable beings, surrounded by karmic fire. Their number was immense, far exceeding the stars in the sky!

Each point of light represented a world, countless worlds. Even the myriad worlds of the Primordial Realm were but a drop in the ocean compared to the worlds he now saw.

Even stranger, the karmic fire surrounding the beings in these worlds was unstable. Wisps of karmic fire flew up from their bodies and soared into the darkness.

In the darkness, these wisps of karmic fire converged, forming torrents of karmic fire.

These torrents of karmic fire resembled a spiderweb. In the darkness, they merged in groups of three to five, constantly combining until they reached the central part of Tu Bo's interior, where they fully converged.

There, karmic fire permeated the space, incredibly dense and potent, impenetrable even to Qin Mu's gaze!

The karmic fire there was shaped like a gigantic fireball, yet also like a spherical egg formed from karmic fire!

A karmic fire egg, incubating life!

Yue Tianzun surveyed the space within Tu Bo's interior, her gaze falling upon the convergence point of the karmic fire, and she couldn't help but let out a soft exclamation of surprise.

Tu Bo said, "Yue Daoyou, have you seen it?"

Yue Tianzun showed a bewildered expression. "I've discerned some clues. You are drawing upon the karmic fire of all beings to incubate something. However, I see no signs of life within that karmic fire egg!"

Qin Mu also looked towards it. His current eyesight couldn't penetrate the karmic fire egg; it was far inferior to Yue Tianzun's, but he also sensed that something was amiss.

Tu Bo gathered the karmic fire of all beings. The misdeeds committed by sentient beings were too numerous, and karmic fire burned their souls. Tu Bo took these misdeeds, allowing the karmic fire to burn within himself instead of consuming the souls of all beings.

This was the strange part: Tu Bo's body was Youdu itself, yet at this moment, Tu Bo's true form was merely an outer shell, empty inside!

In other words, Tu Bo was left only with the outer layer of continents as his skin; his true form inside had vanished, leaving behind only this mass of karmic fire egg!

"I have no true form."

Tu Bo said, "I am using the karmic fire of all beings to forge a true form for myself, preparing to shed my ancient god identity in the future and become an independent life. The Grand Dao of Youdu made me, but it also bound me. Youdu granted me boundless power but also confined me here, preventing me from experiencing joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure, love, hate, and long-term emotions. I cannot smell fragrances, taste delicacies, have no sense of touch, no pain, and I cannot even fully feel familial love, friendship, or romantic love. However..."

He paused for a moment, then said, "I once felt them."

Qin Mu's heart stirred slightly, and he murmured, "Ah Chou."

"Yes, Ah Chou."

Tu Bo continued, "Ah Chou experienced things I never have. Ah Chou has his own joys, angers, sorrows, pleasures, loves, hates, and resentments. Compared to him, I am not truly alive. I am merely a vessel for the Youdu Grand Dao. It was Ah Chou who fought his way to the Heavenly Court, not me. I envy him. I long for death."

Qin Mu and Yue Tianzun were greatly shaken, looking at him in disbelief.

A faint smile appeared on Tu Bo's expressionless face. "You heard correctly. I envy Ah Chou, and I long for death, for the chance to become Ah Chou myself. This forging of a true form from karmic fire is something I've prepared for Ah Chou. I am waiting for Ah Chou's daughter to kill me. After she kills me, I will become Ah Chou. At that time..."

His unsightly face was filled with a gentle smile. "We will be a family again. I will be a father, and she will be my daughter."

Yue Tianzun fell silent.

Qin Mu couldn't help but ask, "Will Xu Tianzun acknowledge you as her father? Tu Bo, you are joking with your own life!"

Tu Bo looked down at him, his ugly, expressionless face showing increasing warmth and humanity. He said, "Heavenly Venerate Mu, you are not me, nor are you a father. You can never understand the spiritual tremor I felt when I became Ah Chou, or when my daughter was born. Didn't you want to see my hidden method? Look!"

He spread his fingers and gently waved his hand.
