Chapter 1306: Qin Mu Enters the Tao

In the ancestral court of Qin Mu’s Spirit Embryo Divine Treasure, the Grand Beginning Egg was firmly rooted in the Grand Beginning ore vein. This ore vein indeed contained an altar, almost identical to the one in the true Grand Beginning ore vein, and also appearing to be made of water. The Grand Beginning Egg rested on this altar, perfectly round, with smaller, similarly spherical Grand Beginning primordial stones placed beside it.

"Though it's a bit small and merely a replica, it's better than nothing," the Grand Beginning within the egg exclaimed with excitement. He then began to harness the power within the ore vein, attempting to refine the Grand Beginning primordial stone.

Qin Mu, however, felt a pang of disappointment. "If I could manage this a few more times, perhaps I could truly turn the fake into reality. Moreover, refining only the Grand Beginning ore vein isn't enough; if the Grand Simplicity, Grand Initial, and Grand Ultimate ore veins could also be 'bombarded' like this a few times..."

Suddenly, Qin Mu felt an inexplicable tremor within his Divine Treasure ancestral court—the Grand Beginning Egg was activating the ore vein to refine the Grand Beginning primordial stone. Instantly, various profound principles of the Great Dao converged upon Qin Mu, drawing him into an intoxicating trance. Before he knew it, he had entered a state of enlightenment. Though his steps never faltered, a peculiar Dao charm began to emanate from his body. As the Grand Beginning Egg refined the primordial stone, it was as if Qin Mu himself were also refining it.

However, Qin Mu did not acquire the Great Dao energy from the primordial stone; he only absorbed the fundamental Dao and principles of the Grand Beginning. Even so, this far surpassed anything he could have comprehended through independent study.

A six-legged giant Mountain Howler beast spotted him and charged. However, as it reached Qin Mu and opened its cavernous mouth, it failed to bite him. It was as if the beast couldn't touch Qin Mu; he seemed incorporeal, passing right through its open maw. Even more bizarrely, Qin Mu appeared oblivious to its presence and proceeded to walk straight through its body. The Mountain Howler was greatly alarmed, utterly perplexed, and fled in a panic.

Qin Mu continued into the mountain forest. Since Earth Mother Sovereign's arrival, the ancestral court had become rich with lush forests, home to numerous herbivorous giant beasts known as Kuiqi. These creatures sustained themselves on trees, capable of uprooting and devouring entire towering trees by simply lowering their heads. As Qin Mu walked through the forest, he saw mountain-sized heads extending down from above the trees. Kuiqi grasped massive trees in their mouths, and some even tried to bite him. Others dropped their colossal feet, stepping right over him. Yet, no matter how powerful these colossal beasts were, they remained utterly incapable of touching him.

He continued his journey towards the Great Black Wood. The state of entering the Dao was truly wondrous; he was submerged in the vast ocean of the Grand Beginning Dao, perceiving its every aspect. At this moment, the Grand Beginning within the egg also noticed something peculiar: the speed at which he was refining the Grand Beginning primordial stone had imperceptibly increased, and it showed a tendency to accelerate even further. This refining speed even vastly exceeded the rate at which he refined in the true Grand Beginning ore vein.

"Of course," thought the Grand Beginning within the egg, "Celestial Venerable Mu is also comprehending the Grand Beginning Dao while I refine the primordial stone. His insights into the Grand Beginning Dao then nourish the Grand Beginning ore vein within his spirit embryo, making it increasingly complete. This is like us refining the primordial stone together—no, it's even more effective than two people working in conjunction! If this continues, my emergence can be greatly hastened!"

Though Qin Mu was lost in enlightenment and unaware of his surroundings, his pace remained swift. At his current speed, he could ascend and traverse the ancestral court's myriad mountains and waters to reach the Great Black Wood.

Just then, the heavens and earth suddenly trembled, and the sky turned intensely bright. Various exotic treasures, including the Gang, Seal, Abyss, Rope, Strategy, Palace, Gate, and Well—all Heavenly Dao treasures—hovered in the sky, unleashing overwhelming power as they continuously bombarded downwards. The ground quaked, and Earth Mother Sovereign emerged, frantically activating the Core of Primordial Wood to resist. Simultaneously, Ancestral God King, thousands of feet tall and wreathed in divine radiance, slowly advanced, his face grim, holding aloft a Heavenly Umbrella. The sky instantly darkened around him.

Wherever he stepped, Heavenly Dao treasures followed him like shadows, forming another Xuandu world within the ancestral court. This Xuandu world was immeasurably smaller than the true Xuandu, yet it was highly condensed, encompassing an area of ten thousand li. Within this ten-thousand-li ancestral court, heavenly might surged. Heavenly Dao treasures hung high, continuously bombarding Earth Mother Sovereign, giving her no path of escape.

"Earth Mother, you killed my disciples. Today, I shall send you on your final journey." Ancestral God King's tone was indifferent, as if stating a triviality, akin to merely executing an ant that had dared to vex him.

"Junior!" Earth Mother Sovereign erupted in fury, bellowing, "How old are you? When I rose to prominence, I stood as the grandest tree in the ancestral court, my canopy stretching across the heavens, commanding the reverence of even the Creators, who offered me sacrifices, worshipped me, and built altars around me! I have weathered ten great calamities and countless minor ones—you cannot kill me!" She resisted with all her might, then suddenly let out a piercing cry. Countless giant beasts thundered forward, slamming into Ancestral God King's Xuandu world, causing it to shimmer precariously with dazzling light. The power of the ancient giant beasts was immense! As the Mother of the Earth, Earth Mother Sovereign controlled these beasts, directing them to assault the Xuandu world simultaneously. Even Ancestral God King found himself struggling.

"Earth Mother, you certainly possess abilities, but in my presence, all your stratagems are useless." Ancestral God King held up the Heavenly Umbrella, which seemed to embody a complete heaven and earth. Its ribs extended, growing longer and wider, transforming into the forty-nine Great Daos that supported the Xuandu world, rendering it impregnable.

Upon seeing this, Earth Mother Sovereign fell into despair and suddenly cried out to the heavens, "Heavenly Duke, are you not going to restrain your son?"

Ancestral God King sneered, "Even if my Father God descends to the ancestral court, he cannot project much power here; his true body must remain to guard Xuandu. If only his clone descends, what can he do to me? Father God, do you dare?" He roared up at the sky.

Suddenly, the Xuandu world split open, and a beam of white light descended from the sky. It landed and took the form of Heavenly Duke, clad in white robes, with white eyebrows, white hair, and white eyes. He sighed, "Rebellious son, cease this. Do you truly wish for your old father to confront you?"

Ancestral God King burst into laughter, then abruptly sealed off the Xuandu world, unleashing his full power. He declared sharply, "Father God, today your son will send your clone to its end; another day, I shall send your true body along that path!" He unfurled his cloak, taking a step forward. As the scarlet fabric billowed open, heavenly palaces emerged from beneath it, swaying to form a Heavenly Court. Ancestral God King's divine power surged, and his true form moved, simultaneously attacking both Heavenly Duke and Earth Mother.

Heavenly Duke and Earth Mother struggled to resist, but both were quickly wounded. Earth Mother angrily retorted, "Heavenly Duke, you useless old man, is this all the power you command?" Heavenly Duke's clone's face flushed with shame as he replied, "I have reinforcements. The ancestral court's seal is broken, and Earth Overlord has also arrived! Fellow Daoist, fellow Daoist, won't you come to our aid?"

No sooner had he spoken than the earth trembled, spewing forth rolling magma and Youdu demonic energy, which transformed into a world of darkness. From amidst the magma and demonic energy, a Lava Earth Overlord slowly rose, spinning. Ancestral God King landed a punch squarely on the Lava Earth Overlord's face, sending the rolling figure flying back into the magma.

"All three of you old geezers, come at me!" Ancestral God King bellowed with laughter. The Lava Earth Overlord, too, could not help but grow enraged, sweeping his long whip with a sharp swish. The four powerful beings unleashed their full array of techniques, locked in relentless combat within Ancestral God King's Xuandu world. Earth Overlord, Heavenly Duke, and Earth Mother moved with extreme speed, their attacks shaking heaven and earth, yet they could not breach Ancestral God King's Xuandu world or escape its confines.

"Father God, Uncle, Aunt, my Xuandu world is far sturdier than you imagined, isn't it?" Ancestral God King laughed heartily. "This is my understanding from these past years. I have long since broken free from the Heavenly Dao; I have learned something superior. None of you can escape; your only fate is to be refined and consumed by me!"

"You rebellious son!" Heavenly Duke's beard quivered with fury.

Just then, Qin Mu walked into the Xuandu world, passing directly between the four combatants. The four deities possessed colossal bodies and boundless divine powers, yet Qin Mu walked through their torrent of abilities as if touching nothing at all. The four combatants ceased their struggle, staring blankly at the diminutive human. Ancestral God King's mind reeled in disbelief, utterly bewildered. His impregnable Xuandu world had been entered by Qin Mu, as if he had encountered no barrier at all. That was his proudest achievement, the very foundation of his daring defiance against Heavenly Duke, yet Qin Mu had simply walked right in.

Qin Mu, seemingly oblivious to it all, ignored the four colossal deities and continued his unhurried advance.
