Chapter 231: All Parties Gather

More than a hundred eras had passed since the Daohe Sect annexed the territory of the Shi Nation.

As a power governing 155 Chaos States, the Daohe Sect was renowned throughout the Origin Continent. Today marked a significant occasion for the entire sect.

Mo Yuqingyan, the senior disciple of the Daohe Sect, and Princess Yushui Tianxin of the Yu Nation were officially getting married. A grand celebration was underway in Mo Yuqingyan's fiefdom, Qingyan City.

"The senior disciple and his wife already have a child; I saw the little one, he's quite well-behaved and humble," people whispered. "I heard both the Sect Master and the Lord of the Yu Nation will be attending."

Throughout Qingyan City, countless people buzzed with conversations about the celebratory union, the Sect Master, and the Lord of the Yu Nation.

Currently, five disciples of the Daohe Sect had reached the Chaos Realm. In terms of prestige, only the second disciple, Xin Yu, could rival Mo Yuqingyan. However, Xin Yu was entirely devoted to cultivation and had no inclination for managing the sect's mundane affairs.

Mo Yuqingyan, aware of the limited prospects in his cultivation path, dedicated himself tirelessly to his duties. Consequently, Luo Feng and Moluocha gradually entrusted him with an increasing number of the sect's responsibilities.

Now, Mo Yuqingyan was effectively the chief steward of the Daohe Sect. Luo Feng, whose world power could encompass the entire territory in a single thought, had uncovered numerous "maggots" within the sect. Yet, Mo Yuqingyan's consistent diligence and dedication in his work brought Luo Feng considerable satisfaction.

"Second Master, this is our child, Tianxin's and mine," Mo Yuqingyan said, as he and a beautiful, tall woman led a child by the hand. "Mo Yuxiu, Xiu'er, this is your Grandmaster Luocha."

"Grandmaster," the child, Mo Yuxiu, sweetly greeted. Moluocha chuckled, then picked up the child, saying, "This child is truly well-behaved."

"My father said that Grandmaster was primarily responsible for teaching him cultivation all these years," Mo Yuxiu said, looking at Moluocha with curiosity. His father had, after all, mentioned his third master numerous times.

"Haha, yes, yes, indeed, I was the primary teacher," Moluocha said, looking at the little one. "Xiu'er, how would you like me to teach you cultivation from now on?"

"Yes!" Mo Yuxiu happily agreed.

Mo Yuqingyan and Yushui Tianxin exchanged glances. Both of them had reached the Chaos Realm through the path of bloodline cultivation.

Mo Yuqingyan handled many affairs for the Daohe Sect, while Yushui Tianxin managed numerous matters within the Yu Nation. Their acquaintance stemmed from various collaborative efforts between their respective domains. Finding resonance on many issues, they soon became a couple. It was only after having a child that they decided to hold a formal celebration of their union.

Moluocha's current displayed strength was at the Transcendent level of the Chaos Realm.

As both Mo Yuqingyan and his wife were Chaos Realm cultivators specializing in the bloodline path, they were naturally very keen for Moluocha to teach their child.

"Qingyan, you two should have more children," Moluocha chuckled. "Let me teach all of them! Your temperament is a bit dull, so I hope one of your children turns out to be a genius."

"If Second Master is willing to teach, I couldn't ask for more," Mo Yuqingyan replied with a laugh.

"Thank you, Second Master," Yushui Tianxin added gratefully.

This was because, on the Origin Continent, the more powerful an individual became, the less inclined they were to dedicate time to teaching disciples. Their focus typically shifted to their own advancement.

The couple was naturally delighted that Moluocha was willing to teach their child.

In contrast, Grandmaster Luo Feng would only occasionally offer guidance to his direct disciples over vast spans of time, making it impossible for him to dedicate significant effort.

"Hmm?" Moluocha suddenly turned his head, gazing into the distance. Mo Yuqingyan and Yushui Tianxin also looked, puzzled. Soon, two figures materialized out of thin air: Luo Feng and the heavily furred Lord of the Yu Nation.

"Master," Mo Yuqingyan said. "Father," added Yushui Tianxin. Both adopted a more solemn demeanor.

Luo Feng smiled as he observed the couple. Both had reached the Chaos Realm through the bloodline path, making them quite a fitting pair.

"Master, this is Qingyan's child, Mo Yuxiu," Moluocha explained. Mo Yuxiu respectfully bowed, saying, "Mo Yuxiu greets Grandmaster."

Luo Feng nodded with a smile.

"I recently acquired a unique treasure that is ideal for establishing a cultivation foundation for children." Luo Feng turned his hand, producing and opening a jade box. Inside lay a translucent, pale green leaf whose natural fragrance instantly revitalized everyone nearby.

The Lord of the Yu Nation, standing nearby, couldn't help but exclaim, "Brother Luohe, this is too precious!"

This was one of the rare treasures Luo Feng had acquired from the deeper regions of the Dream Realm, valued at approximately eight million merit points. It was perfectly suited for laying a solid foundation for young cultivators.

"I just happened to acquire it recently, and I just happened to see the little one, and I just happened to be preparing gifts for Qingyan and his wife… it must be his destiny with me," Luo Feng said, smiling. This particular treasure was considered quite inexpensive among the many he had amassed.

"Xiu'er, quickly thank your Grandmaster," urged the Lord of the Yu Nation.

For the Lord of the Yu Nation, acquiring a treasure worth eight million merit points was an extremely difficult feat. Especially after his true body was destroyed in Tianhe last time, his resurrected vessel, though possessing a bloodline, required extensive re-nurturing.

At present, the Lord of the Yu Nation's total accumulation of weapons, secret treasures, and all other valuables amounted to merely around 100 million merit points.

He would never part with a treasure worth eight million merit points for his grandson! He wouldn't even expend that much to cultivate any of his own children.

A single difference in power level significantly impacted one's ability to acquire treasures.

For instance, figures like Emperor Guixu and God-King Wuxin possessed vastly more treasures than the Lord of the Yu Nation.

The "Space-Time Solitary Boat Master" had an even greater capacity for acquiring treasures.

Luo Feng, for example, possessed true strength at the Emperor level. With a will transcending God-Kings and numerous avatars, his ability to acquire treasures far surpassed that of typical Emperors and Monarchs.

Inside the Star Tower, within the quiet room of the City Lord's residence in Huyang City.

Luo Feng's majestic perfect divine body sat cross-legged. Beside him lay another, even more immense world lifeform, currently in slumber. At this point, the world lifeform's true body contained over a hundred times the energy of a perfect divine body, and remaining conscious would place a considerable burden on his mind.

"The secret patterns of the Star Tower contain infinite mysteries, far more profound than any individual Great Dao," Luo Feng mused, his consciousness penetrating the Star Tower's interior to observe the countless intricate patterns.

Luo Feng's current cultivation primarily centered on comprehending the Star Tower's secret patterns.

Advanced inheritances like the "World Lifeform Body" and "Chaos Beast Body," along with the Heavenly Pillars in the Heavenly Pillar World, served merely as auxiliary aids.

"Ever since I began comprehending the Star Tower's secret patterns, I've consistently aimed to interpret my insights into these patterns through the Great Dao."

"My goal is to use the nine major branches of the 'Great Dao of Life and Death' as a foundation to interpret the Star Tower's mysteries as perfectly as possible."

Alas...

Luo Feng gently shook his head.

Even integrating the nine branches could only interpret the portions he had already comprehended. Yet, despite this, he still hadn't managed to create a nine-branch fusion technique.

"This scale," Luo Feng thought, as his mind observed the blood-red scale shimmering with twelve colors, and the endless secret patterns emanating from it.

"Forget nine-branch techniques; I haven't even comprehended an eight-branch fusion technique yet." He was using the nine branches of life and death to try and interpret the Star Tower's secret patterns.

Over a hundred eras, Luo Feng had comprehended two six-branch fusion techniques and two seven-branch fusion techniques. However, these techniques merely scratched the surface of the Star Tower's profound secrets.

"The Great Dao is boundless, but my life is long enough to slowly delve into it," Luo Feng mused. He was content with this life, dedicated to exploring ever more mysteries and deepening his understanding of the world's true essence.

Luo Feng felt fortunate to possess the Star Tower.

"The Star Tower's greatest value isn't as a weapon for combat; it's as a book!"

"Hmm? The most crucial treasure in the deep regions of the Dream Realm should be maturing soon," Luo Feng thought, a ripple of anticipation in his heart.

Over the past hundred-plus eras, Luo Feng had explored the deep layers of the Dream Realm only once per era.

Each time, he typically explored around ten deep spaces, ceasing his exploration once an avatar was completely depleted.

In each era, he would exhaust at most one avatar, which represented approximately thirty percent of a perfect divine body.

This method allowed Luo Feng's world lifeform to continually expand in size.

"Over a hundred eras, I've briefly surveyed over a thousand deep spaces, documenting many rare treasures within them," Luo Feng reflected. The deep spaces changed far more slowly than the outer or middle layers, and treasures within them grew at a much more sluggish pace.

Moreover, valuable treasures were typically guarded by more powerful native creatures.

"This particular treasure is the only one I've encountered in over a hundred eras that has the potential to be worth 'over a billion merit points'," Luo Feng thought, placing immense importance on it.

Within his current power level, this was the only treasure Luo Feng had found that was valued at over a billion merit points.

Such exceptional treasures were likely being sought by powerhouses from the two great ancient nations, ancestors of the East Pole Domain, and the Lords of Myriad Realms, among others, explaining their extreme rarity.

The Dream Realm, Deep Region.

Within a crevice in the mountains stood an unassuming fruit tree bearing a single black fruit. This fruit faintly glowed with a purple luster, making it quite unremarkable in the Dream Realm.

"The Thousand Dream Fruit, valued at 1.5 billion merit points, is finally nearing maturity. I've been waiting for this day for so long," a gray-robed figure murmured, observing the fruit from afar. "Acquiring this Thousand Dream Fruit, combined with my previous accumulations, should enable me to complete a full 'Chaos Origin Bloodline' for the ultimate realm."

"Hmph, the two great ancient nations are truly greedy, pricing such a treasure at only 1.5 billion merit points," the gray-robed figure thought to himself.

He knew full well that treasures worth less than a billion merit points were useless to the ancestors of the two great ancient nations and the three alien races. Even a hundred treasures, each valued at 100 million merit points, held no appeal for them. However, treasures valued at over a billion merit points were indeed coveted by these ancestors. Therefore, one could not rely on the pricing set by the two great ancient nations for these high-value treasures; their actual worth was far greater.

"The Thousand Dream Fruit should be ripening now." A figure materialized from the void, appearing directly near the edge of the mountain crevice. Clad in a pale golden robe, his invisible fluctuations enveloped a vast area, instantly revealing the hidden gray-robed figure.

"Di Jiufeng?" The gray-robed figure's expression shifted.

"Who are you?" Di Jiufeng asked, looking at the other party. "You don't even dare to reveal your identity?"

The gray-robed figure chuckled softly. "Never mind who I am. You, Di Jiufeng, won't be getting this Thousand Dream Fruit."

Di Jiufeng gazed into the distance. His mastery over the void was immensely vast, allowing him to instantly pinpoint the newly arrived powerful individual.

"Two more," Di Jiufeng said with a grin.

A black river streaked across the sky, coalescing into a colossal figure. A phantom shimmered into existence, solidifying into a purple-robed individual.

"Di Wu, you've arrived as well," Di Jiufeng said, looking at the formidable figure. This brawny individual was Di Wu, one of the thirteen Emperors of the Yanfeng Ancient Nation, who cultivated the Great Dao of Life Origin and maintained a permanent avatar in the Dream Realm.

"I, too, have been awaiting this Thousand Dream Fruit for a long time," Di Wu said with a smile, glancing around. "I just didn't expect two unfamiliar friends to join us."

The four powerhouses observed one another.

Suddenly, yet another figure entered the deep space. The moment they appeared, they were detected by Di Wu's spatial domain.

"Hmm?" All four were somewhat surprised.

A figure in a black robe and golden mask had also arrived.
