Chapter 163: The First Time Killing the God King

Luo Feng clearly perceived the terrifying power descending upon them, a force that seemed capable of corrupting all things. Its might was so immense that, had his true body been present, he could have resisted it head-on. However, with only a single clone, Luo Feng now felt uncertain. "Moluosa, prepare the backup plan," Luo Feng transmitted.

"A backup plan?" Moluosa, who had been ready to simply observe the battle, jolted in surprise. Upon arriving in the Origin Continent, Moluosa's identity as a World Beast was to remain concealed until he possessed absolute power. However, the master and servant did indeed have a contingency plan: utilizing their shared ability to become invisible and formless. This would allow them to swap identities—Luo Feng becoming Moluosa, and Moluosa becoming Luo Feng—to cover for each other. Once in Luo Feng's form, Moluosa could unleash even more terrifying power. "Alright, I await your command," Moluosa replied, quite eager.

"Things shouldn't be that serious yet; keep a close watch on them," Luo Feng said, instantly phasing through the spacecraft and appearing outside. From within the vessel, Mo Yuqingyan and his wife watched intently, observing the impending clash of God-King level power. The nearby attendants were a mix of apprehension and excitement, knowing that a battle of such magnitude was an exceedingly rare sight. "Watch carefully," Moluosa instructed Mo Yuqingyan and the others. "Should the situation turn dire, I will temporarily move you into a spatial treasure." "Yes, Second Master," Mo Yuqingyan and his wife replied, their gazes fixed on the unfolding scene.

Luo Feng stood suspended in the air, unarmed. In the distance, a colossal cloud of grey mist billowed, exuding a malevolent aura that seemed poised to corrupt and defile all creation. "I possess information on many ancient entities within the Origin Continent, but I don't recognize you," Luo Feng stated, observing his adversary. He had long heard that the Shadow Heaven Realm possessed potent secret techniques for concealing its members, and now he saw their effectiveness firsthand. Luo Feng naturally harbored no inclination to underestimate this mysterious force, capable as it was of deploying Emperor-level combatants.

"There's still much you don't comprehend, little one!" The grey mist cloud coalesced into a face, fixing its gaze on Luo Feng. "Who engaged your Shadow Heaven Realm for this?" Luo Feng demanded. "To attack my servants and disciples is utterly shameless." "The Shadow Heaven Realm never betrays its employers," the grey mist cloud retorted. In truth, it was unaware of the employer's identity, as the Shadow Heaven Realm employed specialized personnel for client interactions; its role was solely execution. "This mission didn't originally involve you, but I find myself eager to attempt... to slay your servants and disciples right before your eyes, little one!"

Luo Feng met its gaze. "When I make my move," he declared, "I show no mercy."

"Hahaha, you mere wisp of a being, do you even dare utter the word mercy?" The grey mist cloud erupted in thunderous laughter that reverberated across the heavens and earth. The very rules of reality began to warp, rapidly influencing the trajectory of the distant spacecraft. The entire world seemed to drain of color, turning a desolate grey.

"Not good," a voice muttered. From within the spacecraft, Mo Yuqingyan and his wife watched as the once vibrant and colorful world suddenly transformed into a uniform grey. They were seized by a sense of impending doom; they knew that if the grey mist enveloped them, death would be inevitable. And within this monochromatic world, the sole remaining splash of color—Luo Feng's figure—abruptly dissipated.

"Water Drop World!" Instantly, an immense, droplet-shaped world manifested, encompassing a trillion-kilometer radius. It shielded the spacecraft and simultaneously enveloped the colossal grey mist cloud. Within this vast water drop world, the very rules of reality were altered, and the encroaching grey area was rapidly suppressed. "Your comprehension of laws seems rather… unremarkable?" A translucent figure of Luo Feng materialized within the immense water drop world, addressing his foe.

Guided by the special inheritance, the "World Life Form," Luo Feng had recently comprehended five new Trinity forms. These naturally differed from the Black River form he had stumbled upon earlier. The Water Drop form, specifically detailed within the "World Life Form," was exceptionally suited for deploying world-based attacks, domain techniques, and long-range assaults. Thus, when deploying only a limited number of clones, the Water Drop form was unequivocally the most fitting.

"That was merely my natural influence on the surrounding environment," the grey mist cloud asserted, though it simultaneously recognized the formidable power of Luo He, the paramount expert of the Chaos realm. A single clone was sufficient to suppress its pervasive influence. "You, a minuscule clone, possess what meager strength to dare obstruct me?" The grey mist cloud abruptly surged forward with cataclysmic force, tearing through space. In its wake, every spatial layer was utterly annihilated.

Luo Feng could discern at a glance that his opponent was still holding back its true might; its full destructive force would likely unleash only upon direct contact. "My Water Drop World, containing only a thousand water droplets, cannot withstand such a head-on collision," Luo Feng acknowledged. This was merely a clone, after all, endowed with a limited capacity of a thousand water droplets.

The immense Water Drop World abruptly bifurcated into three hundred and sixty individual Luo Fengs. The clone Luo Feng had dispatched, containing a thousand water droplets, allowed him to manifest up to a thousand such duplicates. Each individual water droplet was comprised of 108,000 trillion particles, an astonishing density comparable to a perfectly cultivated Chaos-level being. Even with ordinary techniques, such a perfected Chaos-level entity would wield peak Chaos-level strength. Yet, each of Luo Feng's water droplets, when executing God-King level techniques, could achieve transcendent Chaos-level might.

"One Cut, Two Halves; Cycle of Life and Death!" In an instant, the three hundred and sixty Luo Fengs dissolved into three hundred and sixty streaks of blade light, each a manifestation of the God-King level technique, "One Cut, Two Halves!" This particular move was chosen not only for its ability to form a potent blade array but also because it was the easiest to execute and exerted the least strain on his mind. Having achieved the God-King Ultimate Realm of will, Luo Feng could previously command over a hundred clones to perform "One Cut" simultaneously. His current ability to control three hundred and sixty clones for this technique was a direct result of consuming the Primordial Crystal Spirit Fruit and Pure Mind Liquid. Luo Feng's current thought process was significantly faster than before, and his mental state was extraordinarily refined, enabling him to achieve this feat.

As the colossal grey mist cloud surged forward, it was stunned to discover three hundred and sixty incredibly condensed streaks of blade light slicing through the air towards it. Furthermore, upon piercing its form, these blades unleashed immense destructive power. The three hundred and sixty blade lights worked in concert, relentlessly tearing and annihilating, visibly eroding the massive grey mist cloud. "How can a mere clone be this powerful?" The colossal grey mist cloud reeled in disbelief.

Unbeknownst to the cloud, this was already one of Luo Feng's most potent long-range killing techniques. Even stronger long-range moves existed, of course, but they relied on sheer quantity to compensate for individual power—for instance, simultaneously wielding ten million water drop blade lights to unleash the "Blade River Slash," a technique typically at the Chaos realm's threshold. The sheer volume of ten million blade lights would render its power far superior to Luo Feng's current blade array. However, Luo Feng had only deployed a single clone.

"This is not good." A blade array composed of God-King level techniques was indeed formidable. In the Infinite Space, Luo Feng had been able to defeat the Formless Old Ancestor with just thirty-six blade lights. But the Formless Old Ancestor in that dimension couldn't even utilize a single branch of the Great Dao, meaning his strength was far below that of his true form. The mysterious entity currently before them, however, was its true body on the Origin Continent, possessing an incredibly profound foundation.

In the past, Luo Feng had consistently relied on his seemingly boundless physical body to overwhelm his adversaries. Now, the tables were turned; his opponent possessed a terrifyingly vast and profound form. "Its true body's energy reserves are simply too immense," Luo Feng realized. "Even if I expend all my blade lights, I won't inflict significant damage." While the battle appeared to be a back-and-forth exchange, Luo Feng knew that as his blade array gnawed away at the enemy's body, his own blade lights were also being continuously depleted.

"Even as a mere clone, you rank among the foremost transcendents in the Chaos realm. A pity, for you are ultimately just a clone. Your servants and disciples are still destined to die." With a thunderous rumble, Luo Feng's three hundred and sixty blade lights were utterly annihilated.

Inside the spacecraft, Moluosa, Mo Yuqingyan and his wife, and all their attendants watched with mounting tension. Initially, they had held onto hope as they witnessed the blade array, formed by Luo He the Great Saint, relentlessly tearing into the massive grey mist cloud. But now, it seemed defeat was imminent. "Master is only a clone, yet this enemy is its true form," Mo Yuqingyan mused. "If Master's true body were here... this enemy would surely not prevail." While he held immense confidence in his Master, he also recognized the gravity of the situation. "If Master cannot hold them back, I suppose I, too, am destined to die."

Mo Yuqingyan turned to his wife beside him, his mind strangely at peace. "Are we going to die?" Zhang Yungge asked, offering a faint smile to Mo Yuqing. "Qingyan, in this world, we are still too weak." "Stop your prattling and get to safety!" Moluosa interjected, sweeping his hand to collect Mo Yuqingyan, Zhang Yungge, and all the attendants into a spatial artifact.

Outwardly, Moluosa maintained a tense facade, but inwardly, he surged with excitement. "Master, is it time to initiate the backup plan?" Moluosa inquired, his eagerness barely contained.

"Not yet," Luo Feng responded.

"Hmm?" Moluosa reacted with surprise. "Does Master have another strategy?"

His master's formidable clones were situated in distant locations such as Huyang City and Xiangjie City. Logically, they would be unable to arrive within the extremely brief span of a life-and-death struggle. As for attempting to open a spatiotemporal tunnel using a treasure, a God-King level adversary would never simply stand by and allow such a passage to stabilize.

As the three hundred and sixty blade lights were annihilated, the colossal grey mist cloud surged directly towards the spacecraft. "Hmph," a translucent projection of Luo Feng appeared within the Water Drop World, observing the massive grey cloud with cold indifference.

During the preceding blade array's assault, as the forces of both combatants annihilated and consumed each other, Luo Feng sensed the latent will embedded within his opponent's power. The adversary's spiritual will was not particularly robust, leading Luo Feng to a subtle conclusion: it likely belonged to a God-King at the first realm of cultivation.

Luo Feng unhesitatingly unleashed the "Elemental Splitting Technique." Bolstered by the profound effect of the Pure Mind Liquid on his mind, Luo Feng found his execution of the Elemental Splitting Technique this time to be even more flawless.

"Hm?" The colossal grey mist cloud suddenly perceived nothing else but a colossal, rolling star bearing down upon it! The star's sheer might filled it with an all-consuming dread and despair, crushing it in an instant. "No—" In that very moment, it grasped its inevitable fate. Instantly, under the overwhelming force of the rolling star, its spiritual will was utterly annihilated, leaving not a single trace.

The once immensely powerful grey mist cloud rapidly diminished, ultimately condensing into a fluid-like mass of grey mist. "His true form was merely grey mist?" Luo Feng mused, as he flew closer to examine the nebulous substance. Their fierce exchange had been entirely contained within the Water Drop World, rendering it impervious to outside observation. Only Moluosa, from his vantage point within the distant spacecraft, had witnessed the entire event with clarity.

"Dead?" Moluosa exclaimed, his eyes wide as he witnessed the scene. "Another will secret technique?" Moluosa swiftly retracted the spacecraft and instantly materialized beside his master. "Master, who exactly was that God-King level entity?" Moluosa inquired, his gaze fixed on the grey mist body. The mist, condensed to a liquid-like state, flowed sluggishly, still exuding an aura that sought to corrupt its surroundings.

"I don't know, but this is certainly its true form," Luo Feng replied. "I expect news of a God-King's demise will soon circulate throughout the Origin Continent. Then we shall discover its identity." "May I have this corpse?" Moluosa asked, a hint of gluttony in his voice. He had been a God-King for over a hundred epochs, and relying solely on absorbing ambient energy was far too slow for his growth. Devouring a God-King level entity whose path diverged from his own would offer significantly greater benefits.

"I'll study it first; you can have it once I'm finished," Luo Feng said, sweeping the grey mist entity into his spatial storage. "Remember to keep the news of me utterly slaying this God-King a complete secret." "Yes, Master," Moluosa promptly affirmed.

Luo Feng nodded. This marked the very first time he had utterly slain a God-King since his arrival in the Origin Continent. This feat was, of course, partly attributable to this particular God-King's comparatively weaker spiritual will. Judging from the encounter, Luo Feng realized that achieving the complete annihilation of a God-King at the first realm of spiritual will was currently a struggle for him. Had this God-King's spiritual will been even thirty to fifty percent stronger, Luo Feng feared he would have found it exceedingly difficult to completely obliterate his adversary.
