Chapter 756

She realized she was the one who had been tricked. She had foolishly offered her first kiss and allowed him to touch her all over. An uncontrollable wave of shame surged within her. It wasn't physical shame; it was the shame of being deceived! How could she have been so thoroughly deceived?

This shame quickly transformed into towering rage!

"Speak!" she growled, gritting her teeth.

Jiang Fan chuckled softly. "Since you tempted me with your charms, shouldn't I respect your efforts?"

Gu Xiner gnashed her teeth in fury. Her eyes blazed with searing anger. Two words erupted from between her clenched teeth: "Shameless!"

Jiang Fan shrugged. "It doesn't matter," he said. "You're not the first woman to tell me that."

As he spoke, he pressed harder with his palm, and the tip of the purple sword pierced downwards. Unexpectedly, it wasn't as smooth as he expected. He only felt this resistance when piercing a Nascent Soul realm cultivator.

Gu Xiner gritted her teeth and said coldly, "What a coincidence! The woman you mentioned was probably me too!"

A surge of incredibly powerful vital energy erupted from her body, sending Jiang Fan stumbling backward.

"You..." Jiang Fan's expression grew slightly grim. There weren't many Core Formation cultivators who could push him back like that.

A clear aura swirled around Gu Xiner, slowly lifting her upright. Her face was cold. She opened her small, cherry-red lips and spat out a dull, lusterless bead. Strands of peculiar multicolored energy emanated from her body, and her true form gradually emerged.

"Don't you want to know who I am?" Gu Xiner said coldly. "As you wish!"

She wore an orange-red, button-front short-sleeved top and a goose-yellow long skirt. Her hair was styled in flying buns, adorned with two pink ribbons. She looked lively, energetic, youthful, and beautiful. But the most distinctive feature was the Peking Opera mask covering her face.

Who else could it be but the Nascent Soul realm expert from the Jiangshan Yipin Pavilion?

"It's you?" Jiang Fan was stunned! "How did you follow me all the way to the Heavenly Secret Pavilion? Must you be so persistent?"

He felt an urge to cough up blood. It had been several days since that incident. How could this woman still be so relentless?

Gu Xiner's eyes blazed. "I'm here at the Heavenly Secret Pavilion on official business, and since you delivered yourself to my doorstep, it would be against heavenly principles for me not to deal with you!"

Good heavens! So, he had walked right into a trap. Considering what he had just done to Gu Xiner, Jiang Fan felt incredibly wronged.

He said, "Given your cultivation realm, you must be a Deputy Pavilion Master at Jiangshan Yipin Pavilion, right? If you want revenge, can't you do it openly? Disguising yourself like this, how was I supposed to know you were a Nascent Soul senior? Aren't you setting people up?"

Was it still his fault?

Gu Xiner shrieked in exasperation, "So you *do* know what you did to me?! Then do you know how you're going to die?"

"Huh?"

Enraged, she tried to tear off the chains. She wanted to step forward and slap Jiang Fan to death. But with a tug, she discovered the chains were strangely resilient. Even with her power, she couldn't break free!

"What's wrong with these chains? Release me at once!" After several failed attempts to break loose, she finally looked a little surprised.

Jiang Fan, on the other hand, subtly let out a sigh of relief. It was a good thing he had been cautious and directly applied the Dragon Binding Lock to her. Otherwise, he would have been in real trouble.

He slowly retreated. Even with a being of her cultivation level bound by the Dragon Binding Lock, he wasn't sure he could kill her. He might even trip up himself. It would be better to escape back to the Heavenly Secret Pavilion as soon as possible and dive into the underground world. It would be much safer there. Even the Vajra Seal of Dharma would need to exchange treasures for the Heavenly Secret Pavilion Master's permission to enter. The Deputy Pavilion Master of Jiangshan Yipin Pavilion wouldn't dare force her way in, no matter how bold she was.

"You still want to leave? Come back!" Gu Xiner shouted.

Jiang Fan smirked. Seeing that she couldn't break free from the Dragon Binding Lock, he felt much more at ease. He summoned the Nine Heavens Thunder Dragon and said, "These are specifically for binding Nascent Soul cultivators. The key is with the Demon Emperor; you can go ask him for it yourself. Farewell."

Gu Xiner shrieked in anger, "You pervert! You did that to me, and you think you'll leave here alive?"

Jiang Fan seemed to recall something. He pulled a long, red-cloth-wrapped object from his sleeve, shook it, and said, "I have to say, for a Nascent Soul cultivator, you're really poor, aren't you? I searched you all over, and this is all I found? You don't even have a spatial storage artifact? Or did someone hide it in a place I didn't touch?" He showed a look of regret.

Gu Xiner's pupils constricted. Wrapped in the red cloth was half of a hairpin. She grew anxious. The terrifying purple flames surged from within her once more. Whatever these purple flames were, under their scorching heat, the Dragon Binding Lock slowly turned red, then gradually melted into dripping liquid. Jiang Fan's eyelids twitched uncontrollably. He immediately made to flee.

To his surprise, the red cloth strip in his hand suddenly slipped out and flew away on its own. Jiang Fan quickly tried to snatch it, but it flew into Gu Xiner's hand instead.

"Hmph! You still want to steal my possession?" Gu Xiner looked triumphant.

Jiang Fan was slightly annoyed. The item he had so much trouble finding in her embrace had just flown away on its own? Standing atop the thunder dragon, he snorted, "Do you want to know the third reason why you were exposed?"

Gu Xiner was absolutely unconvinced by this. She couldn't figure out where else she had revealed herself. She promptly said, "I'll allow you to say it before you die!"

Jiang Fan looked towards her chest. He held out a palm and gently curled it into a "C" shape. Then, with a playful grin, he uttered three words: "A handful."

Before Gu Xiner could comprehend, he mounted the thunder dragon and fled. In an instant, he vanished into the horizon.

Gu Xiner blinked her clear, large eyes. She raised her hand, clenched it in the air, and muttered, "What does that mean?"

The hairpin's remnant soul couldn't bear it any longer and said, frustrated: "You still don't get it? He said yours are too small!"

Gu Xiner's eyes widened instantly. Her eyes burned with rage. She shrieked, "He touched them, he played with them! And in the end, he complained they were too small? That perverted hooligan! I'll kill him!"

*Hiss—* As the Dragon Binding Lock completely melted away, she pushed off with her toes, her eyes bloodshot, and chased after him.

The hairpin said, "With his Cloud Shadow technique, by the time you catch up, he'll already be inside the Heavenly Secret Pavilion. What, are you planning to break into the Heavenly Secret Pavilion and kill the Heavenly Secret Pavilion Master's new disciple?"

Gu Xiner was furious. "I don't care! He insulted me like this! Even if it means fighting the Heavenly Secret Pavilion Master to the death, I will still kill him!"

The hairpin shook its head, saying with disappointment, "If I had known you were so incompetent, I wouldn't have come back just now. Following that kid, at least I wouldn't have had to worry about anything."

Gu Xiner, still fuming, regained a sliver of her sanity. She landed on a large rock. She plopped down, kneeling on the ground.

"How could he bully someone like this?" she whimpered. "He knew I was a fake Liu Qingxian, yet he kissed me, hugged me, touched me, stole my hairpin, and even tried to kill me. And in the end, he said mine were small! That's utterly humiliating! Waaah..."

As she spoke, tears unbiddenly streamed down her face.

A vein throbbed on the hairpin's remnant soul's forehead. *Why do I feel like the 'too small' part is what really bothered you?* The hairpin's eyes darted, and it advised, "I told you that you couldn't outsmart him. But you wouldn't believe me. Now look, your first kiss is gone, you've been taken advantage of so brazenly, and you won't be able to get married in the future. I think you should just cut your losses now. If you keep looking for trouble with him, I'm worried you'll lose everything."

How could Gu Xiner possibly listen to such words? She immediately wiped away her tears, her large eyes still bloodshot, and exclaimed, "No! In all my life, I, Gu Xiner, have never suffered such a huge loss! I will definitely kill him!"

The hairpin's remnant soul asked, "So what do you plan to do? That kid was so scared by you that he might not dare to leave the Heavenly Secret Pavilion for three to five years. Are you going to guard the entrance forever?"

Gu Xiner snarled, "If he doesn't come out, can't I go in?" With a pained expression, she once again took out a Myriad Phenomenon Bead and snorted, "Jiang Fan! I don't believe you can escape my grasp!"

With that, she tilted her head back and placed the Myriad Phenomenon Bead into her mouth.
