Chapter 1214: Four Giant Kings

The two looked over simultaneously. They saw a colossal fiery red mushroom cloud rising from the westernmost part of the mountain range, resembling a violent explosion triggered by some kind of restriction.

Immediately after, a group of black-robed martial artists frantically surged into the sky, fleeing in all directions.

Strangely, a blood-red thread shot into the air, piercing through all the black-robed martial artists and pulling them back, like beads on a string.

Jiang Fan watched with a solemn expression, asking, "Those martial artists must be disciples of the Great Yin Sect. What evil entity did they encounter? Dozens of them, and not a single one escaped?"

The Great Yin Sect had brought many powerful cultivators, those with Eight-Aperture Nascent Souls, into this place. Even they couldn't escape!

Yue Mingzhu's face grew even heavier as she looked. The Infernal Beast's smile vanished, and its face instantly darkened: "You still disgust me as much as ever! But, it's all over. This time, I won't give you another chance to live!"

Jiang Fan narrowed his eyes. "Aren't you afraid it will end up like the Cold Mountain Giant King?"

The Infernal Beast crossed its arms over its chest and chuckled. "Of course I am! That's why..." It smiled eerily and clapped its hands.

From the other three directions, powerful auras surged. To the north, a Giant King entirely engulfed in black flames strode through the air. To the south, a Giant King controlling floods that swept across the ancient battlefield came striding over the waves. To the west, a Giant King, surrounded by snowflakes and covered in icicles, came walking over the ice. There was a Giant King from each of the four directions: east, south, west, and north! One of them was even a Spatial Giant King, capable of sealing escape techniques!

Even with his mental preparation, Jiang Fan was stunned by the four Giant Kings. Including the Mist Giant King, there were now a total of five living Giant Kings! This ancient battlefield, extinct for a thousand years, still harbored so many hidden dangers?

"How about it, Jiang Fan? Inviting four Giant Kings to kill you, that's giving you enough respect, isn't it?" the Infernal Beast sneered.

Jiang Fan slowly nodded. "To die under the siege of four Giant Kings would have been enough to be recorded in history a thousand years ago."

The Infernal Beast snorted, "Good that you know. Then just obediently die for me!"

A faintly visible green eye appeared on his abdomen and shone upon the Spatial Giant King.

The Infernal Beast's eyes turned sinister. "I didn't give you a choice! Kill him!"

The four Giant Kings attacked simultaneously! Even with their decaying and incomplete bodies, each one could still unleash power capable of destroying Nascent Soul realm cultivators! The Infernal Beast would not give Jiang Fan any chance of survival. Not a single one!

Yue Mingzhu gripped Jiang Fan's hand tightly, her delicate body trembling. Facing four Giant Kings simultaneously, she couldn't imagine how Jiang Fan or she could survive.

Jiang Fan, however, looked relaxed and asked with a smile, "You were clamoring for me to stay with you, do you regret it now?"

Yue Mingzhu shook her head and said, "I do regret it. I should have made you stay with me longer. To leave like this, I'm truly unwilling."

Jiang Fan smiled gently. "Alright then, in the future, I'll stay with you more. Hold on tight!"

Before the four terrifying attacks arrived, Jiang Fan suddenly activated his spatial ability! The divine technique, derived from the Spatial Giant King, instantly transported them above the mushroom cloud.

"A Spatial Giant King's divine ability?" The Infernal Beast was momentarily stunned, evidently not expecting Jiang Fan to have such a move.

Recovering itself, its face darkened as it roared, "Kill him! I refuse to believe that four Giant Kings can't kill him!"

The four Giant Kings chased them like lightning to the sky above the mushroom cloud. They coldly launched their deadly attacks!

Just then, a blood-red thread shot from the ground without warning, striking the Spatial Giant King. The latter was startled, and the spatial Origin Star on its forehead activated, conjuring a spatial barrier in front of it. What was bizarre, the blood-red thread pierced directly through the barrier and then through the Giant King's body. Immediately after, it swiftly pierced through the bodies of the other four Giant Kings, stringing them together. And it didn't stop there. The blood-red thread also locked onto Jiang Fan, intent on piercing him as well.

Jiang Fan, however, had already prepared and activated the Bronze Grasshopper, teleporting himself and Yue Mingzhu away from the location. The blood-red thread struck empty air! Losing Jiang Fan as its target, the blood-red thread then locked onto the Infernal Beast.

The latter's face changed drastically. "What is that thing? Don't come closer, don't come closer... Ah!"

Five hundred miles away, Jiang Fan's Nascent Soul energy was more than half depleted, but he had successfully escaped the blood-red thread's pursuit.

Yue Mingzhu was in a daze. "We escaped? To be besieged by four Giant Kings and still escape!"

Jiang Fan smiled faintly. "Sort of..." Before he finished speaking, his expression slightly froze.
